Cedric yawned. Slowly rubbing his eyes, the Sorcerer was now getting drowsy with the entire evening of nothing but pure work and some potion shenanigans. He oughta hit the hays now, if not only for his sudden hunger finally catching up to him
He needed something to eat.
It was already midnight, and surely, there would be no available food left in the dining room. And so, Cedric thought up of the only thing he knew of that he can get some food
He shook Wormwood, which woke the raven up from his sleep. "Be a dear and head to Miss Abadeer's will you? And get me some French fries" sliding in the bag of coins on his claws in the process
As he did, he notices the princess laying on his sofa nearby. Cedric sighed, as he whispered some stuff to the raven and added more coins to the bag
The raven rolled his eyes before finally flying out the window. Cedric, however, did a whole stretch before falling onto the sofa
"Hi Mr. Ceedric!" Sofia was reading a book when he notices her
"Don't Mr. Ceedric me… aren't you supposed to leave to your room and sleep an hour earlier?" He nagged. The girl specifically told him that she would leave the workshop before midnight… but she's still here for some reason
"I'm not really sleepy yet.." the princess put down the book to look at him "So I decided to stay longer.."
"If they would find out that the princess herself has been staying awake and hanging out at my workshop, what do you think will happen to me?" Cedric scoffed crudely
Sofia just shrugged. She then pointed at the window where a certain raven has brought paper bags of food. Cedric smiled, finally he can have something to eat. As he gathers them to the table, Cedric sat on the chair just with it. Upon doing so, Sofia decided to sit just across to watch him
Cedric took out the pack and took a bite of a fry. It didn't take long before he noticed Sofia staring at him "What?"
Sofia closed her eyes and smiled. No words spoken
"Ohhkayy then…" Cedric took another fry, as he tried to avert his gaze somewhere else
It didn't take long before Cedric grew uneasy with the girl staring blanks at him across "Hey Sofia… you want some?"
"Oh he-he.." Sofia giggled casually before turning away "Thank you but I'm not hungry"
"Well.. more for me then" Cedric uttered before filling five fries unto his mouth

A few moments later, Sofia was still staring at him. She couldn't help but catch glimpses of the wonderful food that Cedric was eating in front of her
Those juicy, tender and warm fries alongside with the mint cream and ketchup. Eventually, she didn't notice that she was biting her lip while looking at Cedric's food
"You really don't want some?" he spoke as he noticed her interest on whatever he was eating
"I'm good, thank you" She beamed another smile at him
"Okay.. whatever.." He stuffed another round of fries unto his mouth which Sofia found captivating yet again
Perhaps it was the delicious fry he's eating… or those luscious lips of Cedri–
"You know there's plenty of these for us.." her train of thoughts were interrupted as he spoke in a muffled way. His mouth was full and he was barely audible
Sofia frowned at him "I. Am. Not. Hungry!"
"Okay calm down…" Cedric looked away "Before you wake up someone.."
Sofia then cleared her throat, as her fingers slowly trailed unto the paper bag that he was eating on. A few seconds later, she finally found what she was seeking for..
A nice tender fry on the tips of her fingers
"You know you could've said you were hungry from the beginning right?" he said, finally getting tired of whatever she was on
"Well…" Sofia stood up to her feet, looking up and putting her finger on her lip as an emphasis that she was thinking "I heard that umm… these small fries can give you gas.."
Sofia then walked closer to him "And as your cute adorable little apprentice, it is my job to eat them for your sake, Mr. Ceedric.." she bit her lip, hoping he would take her bluff
"Wow.. how noble.. the apprentice herself taking one for the team."
"That's what I'm here for" a pure and innocent smile was beamed to him before she finally took another fry and ate it in front of him. The fry wasn't even one of those small ones…
She was just eating his food at this point..
Cedric sighed. Reaching out for the paper bag, Cedric then revealed the another pack of French fries to the table. Sofia's eyes widened upon seeing this. Her delight was visibly shown from her face
"You bought another for me!?"
"Actually.. that's for me. I'll have seconds for later." He muttered

"Oh.." Silence then filled the workshop as Sofia's smile had turned into a frown. It didn't take long before Cedric broke character and heaved out a chuckle
"I was just playin… here take it" Cedric slid the fries across the table for her. And just like that, Sofia's smile returned.
She was happy again
The princess turned to him, giving him the most pure and sweet look ever as she said…
"Thank you… Mr. Ceedric."
"Yeah yeah.." Cedric was quick to avert his gaze. The girl was starting to rub off on him, and it would make things more difficult to steal her amulet
He was deep in thoughts that he didn't notice Sofia herself now seated next to him. Cedric scooted, giving a small space between them which Sofia immediately closed on by moving closer
"What is this about now?"
"I figured.. it would be more fun if we ate on the same plate together.." She took one fry and ate it. She then looked at him and gave Cedric the same pure and sweet smile that he couldn't even bother looking away from this time
Cedric was caught on her captivating radiance. And he couldn't make some distance. Eventually, this girl is gonna make things more difficult for sure
But as he looked into her eyes, he didn't see a threat. but a wonderful and cheerful girl who genuinely wanted his company. Who on earth would push such a person like this away?
"Say ahh~"
Sofia held up a French fry to his lips which Cedric immediately shrugged upon.
"Oh no no no… we're not doing tha–" Sofia took the opportunity and slid a fry unto his lips when he opened it to talk. There was still a bit left, and she decided to eat it herself
Cedric huffed. Very embarrassed, he was glad no one was there to witness it. The girl caught him off guard, he only had himself to blame for it
"Say ahhh again~"
She grazed it unto his lips which finally ticked him off
"Will you sto–"

The rest was very much predictable, with a giggling Sofia and a very embarrassed Cedric eating the fry to himself. That workshop was most definitely fun for the most part…

But being close to her favorite Sorcerer and feeding him was the best part for the young princess~

Amber walked the halls, holding her belly and caressing it slowly
SHE WAS TREMENDOUSLY HUNGRY
Two days of strict diet will do that to anyone
As she passed by the stairs to Cedric's workshop, she couldn't notice but smell the aroma of French fries… it was one of her favorite things to eat
The blonde bit her lip, perhaps she could strike an offer with the Sorcerer in exchange for some fries. She then made her way up to the stairs that leads to the door of the workshop
As she opened it, a certain sight of Sofia and Cedric eating some fries together came unto her view. Shocked, Amber only walked forward and closed the door
She made her way to the table and grabbed the other pack of French fries just resting across Sofia and Cedric and brought it herself.
Amber made her way back to the door, but turning at the last second to speak…
"I'll consider this my exchange for keeping this a secret from everyone.." and with that, the princess finally closed the door
Cedric and Sofia was quite flabbergasted with what just happened, as the man then turned to her
"Did we just get robbed?"
