ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Good Housekeeper
After the havoc caused by her brother Shane, Stephanie tries to rebuild the McMahon family name, but the DX family are weary of her intentions and Seth and the God Girls wonder who in the wrestling world they can really trust as they prepare to go to war with Bray Wyatt.
Chapter Twenty – The Vow of Violence
Times Square Church, New York City, New York
Finn Balor beamed from the altar as Becky Lynch made her way towards him on her father's arm.
"Wow she looks so beautiful," Alexa Bliss said to Charlotte, Bianca and Sasha Banks.
"Yeah, who would have thought this day would ever come?" Charlotte said. "I never thought Becky would ever get married, she's so independent. Finn's going to have his hands full,"
"Sure he will but a handful of Becky is better than a lifetime of nobody," Bianca replied and Sasha mulled over the last conversation she had with Becky Lynch while the God Girls talked amongst themselves. They were way too close to the Boss for her liking but she did want to play her part and show support for the future Mr and Mrs Balor. After all, with Becky off the market, it was one God Girl less that she had to worry about stealing her husband.
"Ain't no-one trying to steal your husband," Bianca said and Sasha gasped. "We can't have any negative thoughts today Sasha,"
"Well I didn't say anything," Sasha replied.
"Don't think it either," Bianca said firmly and Seth gave his wife a smile that quickly changed her mood back to happy.
"See Bianca, I just want Becky and Finn to have what I have. A lifetime with the one you love and children born of that love," Sasha said genuinely.
"Stop being so fake; you can't stand being up here right now," Bianca said. "You're just putting on a show so that Seth will think you're trying to get along with us but the Truth is, you hate our guts,"
"So what if I do? I'm trying okay now get off my back!" Sasha snapped and the reverent tapped her on the shoulder.
"Are we going to have a problem here ladies?" he said as Becky drew closer to the altar.
"No Reverend, everything's fine, as long as Bianca Belair keeps her mouth shut," Sasha said while smiling and waving at Seth who mouthed that he loved her. Roman smiled at Finn as AJ Styles and Kenny Omega stood at the altar waving at Professor Alexander.
"Don't my boyfriend look great in a tux?" the Harvard Professor said to the God Girls.
"What man doesn't?" Charlotte replied.
Outside the church, the DX kids were in position awaiting the most unwelcome arrival of Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt. LC was in position at the top of the church while Aurora and Cheyenne were guarding the entrance on both sides looking out for two nefarious individuals that weren't on the guest list.
"Chey, what are you doing out here? You should be inside, the wedding's starting soon," Carla McCool said. "Let my sister take care of Shane and Bray, I need to talk to you about something,"
"Not now Carla, I have a Gift from God that could really come in handy," Cheyenne replied referring to her Incredible Strength.
Carla took Cheyenne's hand and started pulling her towards the church but Cheyenne didn't move.
"Wow you are strong, come on let LC and Aurora handle Bray and Shane, I want to talk to you about girl stuff," Carla said.
"Can't you talk to Charlene and Cassidy? I'm sure they'd love to indulge you," Cheyenne replied and LC saw her sister pestering Cheyenne as a dark cloud covered the sky. Aurora blew Carla into the church with her weather power as she sensed the danger coming. The church weather vane turned rapidly and Aurora covered LC as the air got very tight.
"He's here," Aurora said and LC pulled her cross bow back ready to strike.
"Where are they, I can't see anything where did this fog come from?" LC said and Aurora used her weather power to clear the fog. When the fog cleared, a man in a tux with a stovepipe hat on his head emerged. It was Bray Wyatt and unlike Charlotte's views on men in tuxedos, he did not look good in his tux at all.
"Ladies, why are you out here all alone? Shouldn't the mighty ATM be out here helping you right now?" Bray Wyatt said.
"Who says we're not helping?" came the voice of Trish Stratus Orton and she was flanked by Melina and Amy.
"All this attention just for me, I feel so special but all I really want is to come to the wedding? Would one of you lovely ladies care to be my date?" Bray said taking off his hat pretending like a gentleman.
"I'd rather take a rat as my plus one," Cheyenne said and Bray Wyatt made a hurt face.
"Such low praise from the Undertaker's daughter-in-law. How is the Deadman, will he be accompanying you this morning?" Bray asked.
"No," Cheyenne replied and LC pulled back on her bow sensing something wicked about to go down.
"That's too bad, he really should have come. After all, today could be your last!" Bray spat and he threw his hat at her, which had blades around the edges but before it could reach Cheyenne's head, LC's arrow pierced it to the wall, keeping Cheyenne's head perfectly safe.
"You monster!" Amy snapped and Bray suddenly disappeared.
"He's in the church!" Trish shouted.
"After him!" Melina cried and ATM ran into the church to see where Bray Wyatt would emerge.
"It better not be at the altar," Amy said as Becky and Finn started to exchange vows.
"Becky, from the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were special. I'm so glad we finally made it to this day. Now we can finally be the couple we were always destined to be. We can be together as one, we can plan the rest of our lives together and start a family," Finn started but he suddenly stopped as the God Girls encircled the altar.
"We got trouble," Bianca said as the altar started to darken.
Becky gnashed her teeth, "Oh Hell no, not on my wedding day!" she snapped and she pushed Finn out of the way.
Seth and Roman stood to their feet while Abiyah and Faith Star tried to get out of the pew for a better view of what was happening.
"Show yourself Wyatt!" Becky demanded as her arm started to fire up. "I'll burn you to ashes!"
"Becky no!" Amy cried out as she ran towards the altar with the rest of the God Girls.
"That's what he wants he wants you to get mad, he's counting on it!" Bianca said and she turned to the Reverend, "Pick it up Rev, let's get this done so we can get everyone outta here!"
"No!" Finn snapped. "This is my wedding day and I am not having it rushed so that we can give Bray Wyatt the attention he so desperately wants,"
"He's gonna get it whether you like it or not now make with the "I Do's" so we can get out of here!" Rhea Ripley said from the pew.
The WWE roster and other guests started to talk amongst themselves and Alexa Bliss made herself Invisible with her Cloak of Invisibility.
"Hey, where's Lexi?" Charlotte said and Bianca realised what Alexa was up to.
"I guess this was all just too much for her. She must have run off," Bianca said as Alexa nudged her from the Invisible side of the world and Bianca played along, "Poor Lexi, she was looking forward to this wedding so much and now, everything's ruined. She's probably going to start eating to deal with how stressful this day has been,"
Bianca gave Becky a wink to indicate that she should play along, "Yeah you're right, I guess Alexa will never see her dream wedding take place. I know how important this day was to her, she just wanted me to be happy, just like how she was happy with Bray Wyatt back in the day. I really wanted her to hope again; losing Bray was one of the hardest things she's ever been through. If only there was some way she could tell him how much she truly does care about him," Becky said and ATM smiled at her world-class acting as Bray Wyatt finally appeared with tears in his eyes.
"I'm so sorry Alexa, please come out wherever you are I didn't mean to ruin your hope of someday being with me again! Here I am Alexa, take me, I'm yours I'm all yours again," Bray cried and just as he appeared, ATM combined their Authority and chained him before Alexa re-appeared.
"You tricked me!" Bray seethed and Becky and the other God Girls smiled at him triumphantly as the ATM dragged him out of the church by the chain now binding him.
"Sorry you can't stay for the wedding Bray!" Becky yelled as the God Girls waved goodbye to him.
"Let's here it for Bray Wyatt everyone!" Seth cried and the roster erupted in the infamous goodbye song.
"NA-NA-NA-NA, NA-NA-NA-NA. Hey-hey-hey, goodbye!"
Finn, AJ Styles and Kenny Omega applauded as Alexa Bliss took her bow.
"Now, where were we?" the Reverend said and the wedding ceremony resumed.
Meanwhile ATM pulled Bray Wyatt out of the church like a wild animal and Shane McMahon arrived with his jaw on the floor when he saw what was happening to his demented partner.
"You let him go right now! This is barbaric, how dare you treat Bray Wyatt like some animal!" Shane yelled at ATM.
"Ow!" Bray Wyatt screamed as LC fired an arrow into his butt. "Oh you're going to pay for that kid!"
Bray suddenly disappeared and Aurora ran up to the top of the church to rescue her sister and she grabbed LC and flew into the air with Lisa on her back.
"Bray's airborne, this could be trouble!" Aurora cried out as birds started to attack people down below. "Bray's taken over the air, now the birds are going wild with demon power!"
"Oh no!" ATM cried out. "By the time the wedding's over, New York's gonna look like evil animal kingdom!" Amy said and she pulled out her cellphone to call Jeff Hardy. "Jeff, you gotta come to New York City, Bray Wyatt's taken possession of the animals and now their attacking everyone!"
"This is all your fault! If that little DX brat hadn't set Bray off those birds would be fine and no animals would be attacking anybody," Shane McMahon yelled at ATM.
"Oh, save it McMahon, you know this is what you had planned all along. LC just pulled the trigger early, you were planning on attacking these people!" Trish said and Shane smirked at ATM.
"Well enjoy the chaos ATM, I'm going to a wedding ceremony!" Shane said and he strutted into the church where things were going just fine for now.
In the air Aurora was thinking of a way to get rid of the birds and there was only one answer but Becky and Finn sure weren't going to like it.
