ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Good Housekeeper
After the havoc caused by her brother Shane, Stephanie tries to rebuild the McMahon family name, but the DX family are weary of her intentions and Seth and the God Girls wonder who in the wrestling world they can really trust as they prepare to go to war with Bray Wyatt.
Chapter Twenty-One – The Ice Bouquet
Times Square Church, New York City, New York
Shane McMahon sat next to Becky and Finn's family at the front of the church and they turned to him wondering why he was sitting with them.
"I own her contract," Shane replied pointing to Becky and Hunter threw the order of service at him from behind.
"No, you don't we do," he said and he pointed to the back of the church. "get to the back, you don't belong here anymore,"
"Typical Hunter, always thinking he's running things when all he's doing is living off the legacy my family gave him. I'll sit wherever I please, after all, this will be my roster again one day. Now excuse me while I enjoy the ceremony," Shane said as Becky and Finn signed the wedding register.
"I can't believe we're actually doing this," Becky said nervously and Finn smiled at her lovingly.
"This has been a long time coming Rebecca, let's try to enjoy it. I have a feeling this'll be a day we'll never forget," he said. "Thank God for ATM eh?"
Becky nodded, "Yeah its always good to have the veterans around to cover our backs. As much as I want this day to be perfect I can't help but resent the fact that Shane McMahon is sitting with our guests like he's someone important. Where's my ice bucket?" Becky said looking around and she signalled Bianca Belair who was flirting with her husband Montez Ford.
Alexa tapped Bianca on the shoulder and pointed to where Becky was waving at Bianca to get her attention.
"I know she's not waving at me right now," Bianca said as Becky mouthed the words "ice bucket". Bianca covered her face with laughter when she realised what Becky wanted. "I'll be right back ya'll," she said to the other God Girls, Miss Alexander and Sasha Banks.
"Where is she going?" Sasha said as Bianca hurried to the back to retrieve Becky's trusty ice bucket.
"Shane McMahon is never going to see it coming," Alexa Bliss said and the God Girls laughed amongst themselves while Sasha turned red with embarrassment at what was about to happen to her father in front of the entire roster.
Sasha quickly sashayed over to Becky and tugged on her veil. "Don't throw ice at my Dad," she said firmly.
"Relax Boss, I'm not going to throw ice at your father during my wedding ceremony, I'm going to wait until I throw my bouquet, then I'm going to throw ice at him," Becky said, and Sasha scowled.
"Becky look, I know you and the God Girls are made at my Dad and Bray Wyatt but please don't humiliate him in front of the entire roster!" Sasha pleaded.
"Boss, he chose to come to my wedding ceremony totally uninvited acting like he's the one who paid for everything. Now he's going to pay for it, sorry about that Sasha. Just bury your head in Seth's chest and pretend you can't see what's going on," Becky said, and Sasha stormed back to the other bridesmaids furious. Bianca handed Becky the ice bucket discreetly and Becky hid it under her veil behind her bouquet as the Reverend finished the ceremony, then for Becky and the rest of the God Girls, the fun would really begin.
ATM were outside waiting for Jeff Hardy to arrive. When the Charismatic Enigma finally touched down, there were birds ravaging the people of New York City thanks to the demonic influence of Bray Wyatt.
"I guess I got here just in time, let me guess, Bray Wyatt up to no good?" Jeff asked as the birds raged through the New York sky.
"We need you to come with us, we have a plan and only you can execute it," Amy said, and they took Jeff around the back of the church where they entered the vestibule. A flock of doves were in a golden cage, they were bought for Becky and Finn to be released when they newlyweds left the church and made their way to the reception hall.
ATM had another plan.
Amy picked up the birdcage and gave it to Jeff.
"We need you to release these doves into the air," Amy said. "Shawn and I have prayed over them; they are going to be our birds of prey against Bray Wyatt's demonised birds. When these beautiful warriors hit the air, the airborne demons won't know what hit them,"
"Why do you need me to release the doves?" Jeff said.
"Because you're going to fly with them. Bray will retaliate but you can defeat him with Aurora and LC who are in the sky right now trying to find him," Amy said, and Jeff smiled excited.
"Let's do this thing," Jeff said, and he took the birds out of the church and launched himself into the air with the birds in hand, into a sea of angry birds who were trying to fight against LC and Aurora.
"Jeff, 'bout time you got here. What are you going to do with those doves?" Aurora said as LC thwarted the angry birds that were flying all around them. The sky was filled with Bray Wyatt's evil presence but as soon as Jeff released the doves, that all changed.
"Look at the sky, its so bright! It looks like the sun's about to come back out!" LC said as the doves blinded the angry birds with their Holy Spirit filled power, sending them back down to the ground and the people of New York watched as the birds fell into the Atlantic Ocean from the sky.
"Its raining birds!" a man yelled as the people of New York ran for cover.
The sun was now out fully, and a rainbow appeared in the sky as the doves flew with Jeff Hardy in a loop around Aurora and LC, as they forced Bray Wyatt back into human form. He landed back on Earth with a splash, right in the Hudson River and finally, the people of New York could chill again.
"Praise the Lord!" ATM cheered as Finn and Becky came out to confetti and cheers after saying their traditional 'I Do's" at the altar. As was customary, the unmarried women gathered around at the bottom of the church steps to catch Becky's beautiful white dahlias bouquet. For some reason, Shane McMahon decided to put himself right in the line of sight. The God Girls pulled Seth close to them as Becky locked eyes with Shane McMahon.
"You're not gonna wanna miss this," Bianca said to Seth as Becky launched her bouquet into the hands of screaming women, followed by an ice bucket shower that landed all over Shane McMahon.
"I caught it!" Carla McCool cried out holding Becky's bouquet in the air triumphantly.
"Wow too soon," Jimmy Uso said to his brother looking at Austin Theory who gave Carla a nod of approval.
"Somebody get me a towel!" Shane McMahon screeched as the roster laughed at his misfortune. Sasha didn't think it was funny at all and she turned to the God Girls with disdain.
"You guys are real jerks you know that?" she said before checking on Shane McMahon.
Seth and the God Girls watched in horror as Sasha left with Shane McMahon.
"Come on Daddy, let's go find Bray and get revenge on those nasty God Girls," she said, and Shane shivered as she walked with him, further into danger and out of the arms of her loving husband, her beloved son Abiyah and the ever-faithful God Girls.
"Where's Mommy going Daddy?" Abiyah asked Seth Rollins.
"Further towards the gates of Hell," Becky said as she got into her wedding limousine with Finn Balor who couldn't care less about what was going on with Seth and Sasha, and that too was another problem the God Girls would have to deal with today.
