On with the story!
After flying for a few days, the Gaang decided to land somewhere to rest up and figure out a plan of action.
Currently they were flying low with Katara and Aang making a fog surround Appa that made him look like a cloud.
Soon Aang spotted something near the ground saying, "I think I see a cave below."
Sokka quickly admonished him saying, "Shh... keep quiet."
The group landed after that with Aang Air-bending a huge ring of air to disperse the cloud while startling some birds.
The group climbed off Appa then Sokka started checking every nook and cranny of the cave going as far to do some tactical flips and rolls before he signaled the others to follow him.
The group rolled their eyes at Sokka before following him.
Once in the cave Sokka looked at Aang saying "Good job with the cloud camo, but next time... let's disguise ourselves as the kind of cloud who knows how to keep its mouth shut."
Dijin just replied "Oh, yeah Sokka. Let's keep quiet so all the birds in the sky don't hear us having a good old time out here."
Sokka responded irritably saying, "It doesn't matter. We're in enemy territory. Those are enemy birds."
Sokka then pointed at some birds near the cave to emphasize his point.
Sokka brightened up after that though saying, "Well, anyway this is it. This is how we'll be living until the invasion begins. Hiding in cave after cave after cave..." Sokka trailed off as he got more depressed after realizing how bad an idea that was.
Katara helped her brother out by saying, "Sokka we don't have to become cave people. What we need is some new clothes." Katara held her cloak open showing her clothes were torn and dirty along with everyone else's.
Dijin spoke up next saying, "Katara's right, blending in is better than hiding out. If we get our hands on some Fire Nation disguises, we'll be just as safe hiding in a cave."
Toph chose then to chime in saying, "Plus, they have real food out there. I don't know about any of you, but I don't to live off of cave-hoppers." Toph then slammed her foot into the ground making a swarm of white colored grasshoppers jump all around them.
Sokka just smiled and said, "All right then, let's get some new clothes."
The Gaang all smiled as they headed out to find new clothes.
xxLine Breakxx
After searching for about an hour the group came across a laundry shop with multiple different outfits on display hanging on the clotheslines.
As the group stared at all the clothes Aang quietly said, "I don't know about this. These clothes belong to people."
Katara had no reservations whatsoever and jumped over their hiding spot shouting, "I call the silk robe!" before she dashed off to grab her new outfit.
Dijin and Toph were quick to follow her then Sokka.
Aang held back for a sec saying, "But if it's essential to our survival..." Aang brightened up shouting "Then I call the suit!"
As everyone grabbed their new outfits, The laundry shop owner was sound asleep never knowing he lost his clients clothes.
Soon everyone was changed, and they got a look at their new outfits.
Aang was now wearing a brown short sleeve shirt with a black vest that had red lining and a high collar, he had a pair of black forearm sleeves that covered the top part of his hand, he had on a pair of grey puffy pants that were stuffed into a pair of black boots, to finish off his knew look he tied a red headband around his forehead to hide his arrow.
Aang smiled at his friends saying, "There we go, now I'm a normal kid."
Next up was Dijin, who was wearing a black high color robe with large cuffs that split at the waist while having two gold clasps on the left shoulder with gold lining and green dragon coiling around the front, he had on a pair of red hakama pants, and since he was in the Fire Nation he chose to wear a pair of Tai Chi shoes."
Sokka had a simpler outfit, he had his hair combed back with a topknot, He wore a brown sleeveless shirt with a short red cloak over it, he had on a pair of black shorts with a red sash, and he wore a pair of sandals that covered the top part of his feet with red fabric while leaving the rest of his feet bare.
Toph was wearing a red crop top shirt that went to her mid stomach in which she wore a red and yellow small v neck vest over it, she also was wearing a pair of red shorts that went to her mid-thigh with a red sarong skirt wrapped around her waist, and she was wearing a pair of red slipper shoes.
After seeing Toph's new look Dijin had a huge blush while saying, "Wow Toph, you look amazing."
Toph smiled with a blush of her own saying, "Thanks, Hot rocks. but I wish I could see what you look like too."
Dijin just jokingly said "I'm not much to look at."
Toph scoffed at that remembering what Katara told her at the spa.
However, she frowned as she felt the soles of her shoes before saying, "Hmm... I should probably wear shoes but then I won't be able to see as well." Toph sat down on a rock and said excitedly "Sorry shoes!" before she thrusted her feet forward tearing the soles of her shoes off and making them hit Sokka in the face.
The last of the group finally finished changing and walked up to Aang asking, "How do I look?"
Aang could only blush as he saw Katara in her new outfit.
Like Toph she was wearing a red Crop top shirt that went to her mid stomach and wrapped around her left shoulder, she had let her hair down while having to braids over her shoulders and a topknot, she had gold arm bracelets and wrist bracelets, she had on a red skirt that went to her ankles with flame designs on the front, under the skirt she had on a pair of red pants that went to her shins, and for shoes she had on the same sandals as Sokka.
Aang noticed something that clashed with Katara's new look and said, "Uh, your mom's necklace."
Katara gained a sad look as she realized her heirloom was now too dangerous to wear while saying, "Oh...Oh, yeah. I guess it's pretty Water Tribe isn't it." Katara reached behind her neck and undid the necklace before putting it safely away with her stuff.
The group then headed off into town.
xxLine Breakxx
Once in town Katara found a merchant to buy a new necklace from, the new necklace being red with an orange Jewl in the center.
Toph on the other hand bought herself a new red and yellow hair band since her green one would attract attention.
After the ladies got their stuff, The group gathered with Aang saying, "I used to visit my friend Kuzon here 100 years ago. So, everyone just follow my lead. And stay cool or as they say in the Fire Nation 'Stay Flammin' "
Dijin wanted to protest saying "Aang, I don't Think..." but he was cut off by Aang who said, "Come on, this way."
Having no choice, the quartet followed the confident Air-bender as he strolled down the street greeting people saying, "Hello my fellow Hotman, nice day huh?"
One man looked at Aang strangely as he heard him speak in a 100-year dialect before awkwardly replying "uh, yeah. I guess."
The group continued on their way until they found a restaurant to eat some lunch at.
Aang however, noticed something about the restaurant and said, "Oh, we're going to a meat place?"
Sokka being the meat lover he was stated "Come on, Aang, everyone here eats meat..." Sokka then pointed at a nearby cow-hippo chowing down on some beef cuts saying, "Even the meat."
Aang just looked disgusted before saying, "You guys go ahead. I'll just look for some lettuice in the trash."
Dijin frowned at that and said "Don't do that Aang. I'll see if I can't find something for you to eat."
Aang smiled at the gesture before saying, "Thanks but it's ok just go ahead and eat with the others."
Dijin nodded his head in acceptance before he and the others went inside to get some food.
While the others were inside Aang just continued to greet people saying, "hello hotman, hotman, hotman."
However, Aang was soon approached by three Fire Nation guards making him nervous.
When they were close enough the lead guard said, "It's over, we've caught you."
Aang got even more nervous as he said, "Me?"
The lead guard spoke again saying, "It couldn't be more obvious you don't belong here."
Aang just smiled nervously while the guard continued saying, "Next time you play hooky, you might want to take off your school uniform."
Aang looked at his clothes and realized he must have taken someone's school outfit.
The next thing Aang knew the other two guards grabbed him and started to drag him to where he assumed this school must be.
xxLine Breakxx
A little bit later, Aang was escorted to a large ornate building in which they took him to one of the many occupied classrooms and pushed him inside.
All the students and the teacher looked at the new student entering their class.
The teacher was first to speak saying, "Oh...Is this a new mind ready for molding?"
Aang looked at his new teacher, she was an older woman probably in her forties, her was done up in bun, she wore a long black and red robe that went to her ankles with a black shawl over her shoulders, and she had a pair of Tai Chi shoes.
Aang not wanting to stand out answered the teacher saying, "That's right. Let the molding begin."
The teacher quickly hardened her gaze at Aang before saying, "Wait a minute. You're not from the Fire Nation!"
Aang got nervous again before the teacher started circling Aang while saying, "Clearly you're from the colonies."
Aang was instantly relieved and played along saying, "Yeah, the colonies, of course. The Fire Nation colonies in the Earth Kingdom."
The teacher frowned at him and said, "Your etiquette is terrible. In the homeland, we bow to our elders..." the Teacher moved to stand in front of Aang while saying, "like this." The teacher then bowed her head while placing her right fist in the palm of her left hand.
Aang quickly mimicked the action while saying, "Sorry, ma'am."
The teacher tapped his forehead saying, "And we don't wear head covering's indoors."
Aang quickly came up with an excuse saying, "I have a scar, it's really embarrassing."
The Teacher accepted the excuse saying, "Very well. What is your name? Or should we call you mannerless colony slob?"
Aang again was quick to answer saying, "Uh, Kuzon. My name is Kuzon." Aang then smiled as he took a seat among his new classmates.
xxLine Breakxx
A few hours later the final school bell rang allowing the school's students to go home for the day.
Students began flooding out of the building with Aang among them.
As Aang was leaving he peeked into his jacket to check on Momo who he had stuffed in there earlier.
The lemur chirped at Aang while the Air-bender said, "We made it through the day, Momo... and it was pretty fun."
Suddenly he heard a girl's voice next to him saying, "Don't let the headmaster catch you with that monkey."
Aang quickly closed his jacket and turned towards the girl saying, "What monkey?"
The young girl just smiled at him saying, "Don't worry, I'm not a tattletale. My name's On Ji. I like your headband by the way."
Suddenly a boy about a year older than Aang showed up and shoved Aang with his shoulder before he wrapped an arm around On Ji and stated rudely, "On Ji, you don't have to baby-sit the new kid."
On Ji frowned at the older boy before removing his arm from her shoulders saying, "And I told you to leave me alone from now on."
Aang watched the exchange curiously before he said, "You must be one of those popular kids I hear about."
The boy just glared at Aang saying, "That's right. Now, listen friend. I know you're from the colonies so, I'll say this slowly."
The boy got in Aang's face saying "On Ji is my girlfriend. Don't forget it."
On Ji instantly got angry at the older boy shouting "How many times do I have to tell you, you big jerk! We're not dating anymore!"
On Ji stormed off after that making the older boy say, "On Ji, wait!" he then glared at Aang and pointed at him saying, "Stay away from On Ji or else." before he chased after his "supposed" girlfriend.
Another boy ran up to Aang after that, this one being around the Air-bender's age saying, "Wow, I don't believe it. He didn't beat you up. Not even a little."
Aang simply replied "I guess I'm just lucky."
Some other kids joined them as the other boy said, "We were on our way to play hide and explode. Wanna join us?"
Aang smiled at the thought of just playing a game like a normal kid. So, he didn't hesitate to say, "Absolutely!"
xxLine Breakxx
It wasn't until it was almost dark before Aang made it back to the cave they were hiding at after he had been playing with his classmates.
Once he was inside the rest of the Gaang was there save for Dijin.
Once they saw him Katara shouted at him saying, "Where have you been! Dijin has been out looking for you all day! We've been worried sick!"
Just then said Lava-bender walked into the cave and saw Aang.
Dijin walked up to him and angrily said "where in the spirit's names have you been! Do you have any idea how long I've been searching for you! I thought you got captured or worse!"
Aang instantly gained a remorseful look as he said, "I'm sorry, some guards noticed I was wearing a school uniform and dragged me there."
Dijin looked surprised before he asked "Wait, you've been at school this whole time?"
Aang brightened up remembering the friends he made saying "Yeah, some kids invited me to play afterwards. It was really fun. And I want to go back tomorrow."
Dijin answered him saying "Aang, I'm trying not to immediately shut down your idea, but it sounds... how do I put this gently."
Sokka chose then to speak up saying, "Terrible, crazy, completely ludicrous!"
Dijin frowned at the warrior saying sarcastically "Thanks, Sokka."
Toph spoke up next saying, "Honestly, Twinkle Toes, we got our outfits for a reason what do you need school for?"
Aang answered her honestly saying, "Every minute I'm in that classroom, I'm learning new things about the Fire Nation." Aang reached into his pocket and pulled out two pieces of paper saying, "Look, I already have a picture of Fire Lord, Ozai." he then showed them the picture before he grabbed the other sheet of paper saying, "I even made one out of noodles."
Sokka looked at the noodle picture impressed before saying, "Impressive, I admit. But I still think it's dangerous."
Aang, knowing how to get Sokka to agree, said craftily, "I guess we'll never find out about the secret river, then. It goes right to the Fire Lords palace. We were supposed to learn about it tomorrow..."
Sokka took the bait hook line and sinker saying, "Hmm... I do like secret rivers. Fine we can stay a few more days."
Aang got excited and shouted, "Flamey-o, Hotman!" before he went to go to sleep for the night so he would be up in time for school in the morning.
Katara looked at her brother saying, "Flamey-o?" Sokka just shrugged his shoulders as an answer.
xxLine Breakxx
The next morning, Aang arrived in class on time, and he sat down to wait for the teacher.
He didn't have to wait long as the teacher walked into the room saying, "Good morning, class."
All the students stood up at attention while the teacher sat at her desk saying, "Recite the Fire Nation oath."
All the students turned around and faced a large portrait of Fire Lord Ozai at the back of the classroom and began speaking in unison saying, "My life, I give to my country. With my hands, I fight for the Fire Lord..."
Aang on the other hand didn't know the oath by heart like the rest of the class so he made up lines of dialogue as the class spoke saying, "Fire Lord... Forefathers...Fire-benders... Fire Lord... Wha,bla, bla."
Sadly, for Aang, the teacher and the students heard his gibberish making his classmates laugh while the Teacher seemed very angry.
The students then all moved in unison and sat back down facing the front.
Aang was a little slow to keep up and sat down awkwardly.
The Teacher slammed a ruler on a stack of books before angrily speaking to the class saying, "Since it's obviously so hilarious to mock our nation's oath we will begin with a pop quiz on our Great March of Civilization."
The whole class groaned making Aang feel bad since it was his fault.
The Teacher spoke again saying, "Question one. What year did Fire Lord Sozin battle the Air Nation army?"
Aang almost did a double take hearing that bit of information and thought to himself "Air Nation army? What is she talking about?"
Aang couldn't help himself, so he raised his hand to ask a question.
The Teacher called on him saying "Kuzon?"
Aang simply asked her "Is that a trick question? The Air Nomads didn't have a formal military. Sozin defeated them by ambush and genocide."
The entire class looked at Aang, shocked, they couldn't believe that he would speak of such things.
The Teacher just got angry again and stated, "Well, I don't know how you could possibly know more than our national history book unless you were there a hundred years ago."
Aang, realizing he was at risk of exposing himself replied, "I'll just write down my best guess." before he stuck his face in his workbook.
After the pop quiz Aang's class headed to the music hall to practice playing instruments.
Aang was placed in the back row next to On Ji and was given a Tsungi Horn.
The Music teacher was large round man with a round head, like the previous teacher he wore a black and red robe, he had gray hair done in a topknot, and he had a small, pointed goatee.
The teacher tapped his conductor stick and counted down the class saying, "And one, two, three."
The entire class began to play a smooth orchestral tune before Aang took a deep breath and started to play a crazy loud song from his Tsungi horn making him dance around in his seat.
The music teacher got upset instantly and shouted "Stop, Stop, Stop! Kuzon! what are you doing?"
Aang looked sheepish as he said, "Sorry, I'm not very good at playing the Tsungi Horn."
The teacher scoffed and said "Not that, what was with that hullabaloo going on with your feet. Is that a nervous disorder?"
Aang looked at his feet then the teacher and just stated as if it was simple, "I was just dancing." He looked at On Ji and asked, "You do dances here in the homeland, right?"
On Ji just shook her head no while the Teacher spoke saying, "Dancing is not conducive to a proper learning environment. Young people must have rigid discipline and order.
Aang didn't like that and asked, "But what about expressing yourself?"
The teacher seemed to understand and said, "I know sometimes we're so moved by our love for our nation that we can't control our own bodies." The teacher sighed and said, "Very well, if you must, march in place quietly next time the urge hits you."
The Teacher counted them down again and Aang followed the teacher's instructions if albeit reluctantly.
A few hours later the final bell rang, and everyone started clearing out of the school again.
As Aang was walking to head back to the Gaang, On Ji approached him again saying, "Oh, Hi, Kuzon. I really liked that crazy dance you were doing."
Aang smiled at the friendly girl and said, "Thanks, On Ji. I can show it to you again if you'd like." However, Aang's eyes suddenly widened before grabbing On Ji and Cartwheeling them both to the side dodging a Fire blast that was headed for them.
On Ji looked shocked before looking at Aang saying, "Thanks, Kuzon."
Aang hardened his gaze we he saw the older boy from yesterday march up to them with a smoking fist showing he was the culprit.
Aang looked at the older boy with a glare and said "What's wrong with you? You almost hit On Ji!"
The boy scoffed and said, "like I care about that slut. I was aiming for both of you."
Aang was starting to get angry now. he was fine with someone messing with him but to bring a innocent person into this squabble upset him deeply.
so, before he could stop himself, he said, "If you want a fight then fine you got one." Aang then got into a stance a made the bring it gesture with his hand.
The older boy just got mad and punched his fist forward with a small fire blast heading for the disguised Air-bender.
Aang scoffed at the lame excuse for an attack and simply twisted around in a circle easily dodging it.
The boy tried rushing Aang, but the Air-bender just twisted his body around the other boys before sticking out his foot making him trip.
Some kids had gathered to watch and laughed at the older boy.
The boy just got madder and through some punches and jabs, but Aang just simply moved his head aside or slapped the boy's fists away with his wrists.
The boy let out a rage filled cry saying "Raaahhhhhh" and tried to tackle Aang, but he nimbly grabbed the boy's arm and flipped him onto his back.
Aang calmed down after that and said to the older boy "It's over."
Sadly, luck was not on Aang's side as the headmaster showed up and saw the older boy on the ground and Aang standing next to him.
The headmaster was an old man in his early sixties, he wore a long elegant red robe with gold lining, he had gray hair done up in a bun and he had gray beard that went to his neck.
The headmaster looked at Aang harshly and said, "Starting fights on your second day? We need to have a conference to discuss your punishment. Bring your parents to my office after school tomorrow."
Aang was about to protest but On Ji beat him to it saying, "But headmaster it wasn't Kuzon's fault, he started it." On Ji pointed at the downed older boy.
The headmaster just said, "Enough, I don't want to hear another word out of you or I'll being seeing your parents as well."
On Ji wanted to protest but knew better and backed down.
The headmaster then spoke to the crowd of students saying, "Everyone go home and don't be late tomorrow."
The students all dispersed after that leaving Aang alone as he spoke to himself saying "Parents? What am I gonna do?"
xxLine Breakxx
Apparently, the solution to Aang's dilemma was to Have Dijin and Toph pose as his parents since they were the oldest of the group.
So, now, the trio were seated in the headmaster's office with Toph having to wear a long frilly dress so she could play the blind and helpless card while Dijin didn't really have to disguise himself thanks to his facial hair and clothes.
The headmaster was seated behind his desk with his hands together as he spoke to the posing couple saying, "Thank you for coming Mr. and Mrs...?"
Dijin answered saying "Han, Lee Han. And this is my wife, Yua Han."
Toph bowed her head and said respectively, "It's an honor to meet you."
The headmaster spoke again saying "Mr. and Mrs. Han, your son has been enrolled here for only two days and he's already causing problems. He's argued with his history teacher, disrupted music class and roughed up my star pupil."
Toph showed off her impressive acting skills by placing a hand to her mouth and saying, "My goodness. That can't be my little Kuzon, he's such a soft little thing."
The headmaster just replied, "That's what any mother would say, ma'am. Nonetheless, you're forewarned. If he acts up one more time, I'll have him sent to reform school...by which I mean the coal mines. Are we clear?"
Dijin replied to the headmaster saying, "Crystal clear, sir." Dijin slapped Aang upside the head and forced his head down and angrily stated, "Apologize to your generous headmaster Kuzon, I taught you better than this."
Aang understanding what Dijin was doing played along saying, "I'm sorry, headmaster. It won't happen again."
The headmaster smiled at the show of discipline and said, "It's good to see some strict parenting."
Dijin stood up along with the other two while saying, "Indeed sir, you have wonderful day and long live Fire Lord Ozai. Come along, Yua, Kuzon."
Toph grabbed Dijin's arm and the three of them left the office and hurried back towards their hideout.
xxLine Breakxx
Back at the cave Dijin was talking to Aang saying, "Ok, school time is over. I can't believe how close you cut it this time."
Aang protested saying, "I'm not ready to leave. I'm having fun for once just being a normal kid. You don't know what it's like, Dijin. You get to be yourself all the time."
Dijin's features softened hearing that understanding how Aang feels since his childhood was taken from him too.
Dijin replied to Aang saying, "Fine, what do you want to do."
Aang smiled before saying, "Listen guys, those kids at school are the future of the Fire Nation. If we wanna change this place for the better, we need to show them a little taste of freedom."
Dijin smiled at that and said, "I like the sound of that. What do you have in mind?"
Aang smiled before doing a little jig while saying, "I'm gonna throw them a secret dance party!"
Dijin liked that idea a lot, so he said, "Well, we better get started fixing this place up then."
Katara and Toph smiled and stood up with Katara saying, "Yeah, this is going to be fun."
Toph spoke next saying, "Honestly, I'm curious if Hot Rocks can dance at all."
Sokka on the other hand said, "Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea?"
All four benders yelled at him at once saying, "YES!" making him cower back a little.
After that the group got to work fixing the cave up for the incoming guests that Aang went to go get.
Dijin clenched his fists and raised his arms up, Earth-bending a ringed fountain.
Next, Katara waved her arms in a circle Water-bending some punch she had made into the fountain.
Toph stood in the center of the cave before she slammed her foot diagonally and raised her hands, this created a large round stage along with three pillars varying in size.
Sokka meanwhile, was leading Appa somewhere he could hide and be close by for a quick getaway.
Suddenly, Toph sensed multiple footprints approaching so she quickly shouted, "Their coming! Everyone stop bending."
Everyone quickly dropped what they were doing as Aang's classmates showed up along with some older kids from music class who had instruments.
The musicians got set up on the stage Toph made and immediately got started by playing a lively tune.
Aang stood in front of the band presenting them saying, "Ladies and Gentlemen. The Flamey-o's!"
Aang glanced around while saying, "Yeah, this ought to get everybody moving."
However, he was disappointed we he saw that the girls and boys had separated into groups and were just awkwardly standing around.
One of boys spoke up asking, "Now what do we do?"
Aang smiled at everyone and said, "this is when you start dancing."
Another boy spoke up as he nervously said, "I don't think my parents want me dancing in a cave."
Aang sighed before saying, "Oh, boy. Listen, guys...Dancing isn't something you think about. It's a form of self-expression that no one can ever take away from you."
The boy from earlier spoke again saying, "Maybe it was different in the colonies, Kuzon, but we don't do that here."
Aang just smiled and said, "Sure you do. You have for generations." Aang smirked at the crowd before saying, "It just so happens that I know several classic Fire Nation dances."
Aang moved so everyone could see him as he said, "A hundred years ago this was known as the 'phoenix flight'" Aang crouched down low and put his arms behind himself as he quickly dashed in a circle.
Aang stood up and said, "And this was called the 'camelephant strut'" Aang formed his hands into the shape of a trunk, and he crisscrossed his way across the dance floor towards On Ji before he did a flip and got close to the friendly girl's face making her blush.
Aang quickly backflipped after that and stood up while taking a bow.
The kids cheered at Aang for his dancing while the Gaang was gathered at a nearby table.
Toph was the first to voice her thoughts saying, "Who knew Twinkle Toes could dance."
Katara had a look of wonder as she watched Aang move and said, "Yeah, who knew."
Dijin however, didn't like that the kids weren't dancing still so he decided to do something about it.
Dijin stood up making Toph ask, "Where you going, Hot rocks?'
Dijin smirked at his Girlfriend not that she could see it and said, "I'm gonna get this party started."
Dijin then made his way onto the stage and spoke to the musicians saying, "All right guys, this is a hard Riff in D, watch me for the changes and try to keep up, ok?"
The musicians nodded before the shamisen player started plucking at his strings letting a smooth riff begin to play. Then the other musicians joined in and as the music picked up Dijin bobbed his head in time with the beat before he took a breath and started to sing in a deep raspy voice saying, " 'Like a gift from the heavens, it was easy to tell
It was love from above, like it saved me from hell
She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see how the devil himself could be pulled out of me.
There were drums in the air as she started to dance
Every soul in the room was keeping time with their hands and we sang
Ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
And the voices rang like the angels sing
We're singing, ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
And we danced on into the night
Ay oh ay oh, ay oh ay oh
And we danced on into the night' "
As Dijin sang it was as if a spell was going over the kids as they started to pair up and danced to the song Dijin was singing.
Aang smiled at everyone having a good time before he saw Katara sitting by the table.
The Air-bender made his way over to her and held out his hand.
Katara blushed while saying, "I don't know Aang I'm not really sure I know how to..."
Aang cut her off saying, "Take my hand." Katara smiled and grabbed Aang's hand and when she was close, he whispered in her ear making her smile at what he said.
The two went to the dance floor and began to start their Water-bending Kata's as Dijin continued to sing.
" 'Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place
You could tell how we felt from the look on her face
She was spinning in circles with the moon in her eyes
no room left moving between you and I
We forgot where we were, and we lost track of time
And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night, and we sang
Ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
And the voices rang like the angels sing
We're singing, ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
And we danced on into the night
Ay oh ay oh, ay oh ay oh
And we danced on into the night
And we danced on into the night' "
The shamisen player began doing hard solo on his instrument as Katara and Aang's dance soon became a spectacle as everyone had stopped to watch the two.
The two had their wrists together before the whirled around and thrusted their arms forward.
Next, they twirled around and leaned backwards before moving quickly forward to the point it seemed like they might kiss then cartwheeled sideways before standing upright.
Next, they locked their wrists again and circled each other. Katara was getting nervous from all the looks, but Aang spoke up saying, "Ignore them. It's just you and me."
Katara blushed before she relaxed and continued with the dance as Dijin began to finish his song.
" 'Like a gift from the heavens, it was easy to tell
It was love from above, like it saved me from hell
She had fire in her soul it was easy to see
How the devil himself could be pulled out of me
There were drums in the air as she started to dance
Every soul in the room was keeping time with their hands, and we sang
Ay oh ay oh ay oh ay, and the voices rang like the angels sing
We're singing ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
And we danced on into the night, ay oh ay oh, ay oh ay oh
And we danced on into the night
Ay oh ay oh, ay oh ay oh, and we danced on into the night, ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
Ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
Singing ay oh ay oh ay oh ay
And we danced on into the night.' "
As Dijin was finishing up Katara and Aang were doing horizontal and back flips impressing the crowd before Aang grabbed Katara's arm and twirled her around making her skirt flare up as if it was alive before he grabbed her waist and dipped her low but holding her steady.
The crowd cheered for the two benders as well as Dijin's singing.
Sokka looked at the Lava-bender with a hand on his chin saying, "Huh, who would have guessed Dijin could sing."
Toph didn't say anything she just marched up onto the stage where Dijin was and grabbed his collar and pulled him towards her and this time she didn't miss as she locked lips with her boyfriend making the crowd go "Ohhhhhhhh."
The two separated with Toph saying "You're singing that song to me again later, Hot Rocks."
Dijin just replied "Sure thing." The two then left the stage allowing the band to start playing again and everyone continued to dance and enjoy themselves.
As everyone enjoyed themselves inside the cave the headmaster from the school along with some guards had showed with the headmaster saying, "It is a dancing party. You did the right thing by telling me, Hide."
Next the older boy from earlier now named Hide revealed himself with a cocky smirk saying, "Anytime, headmaster, sir."
The headmaster motioned for his guards to follow him as he headed into the cave.
Inside everyone was dancing without a care in the world that was until they noticed headmaster and the guards standing at the entrance to the cave causing the music to stop and everyone to stand still.
Aang was still dancing until the headmaster pointed at him shouting "He's the one we want. The boy with the headband."
The guards quickly went after Aang who blended into the crowd of students who moved together to give him some cover.
A guard thought he saw Aang with his back to him, so he grabbed his shoulder and turned him around but found out it was just a student with a similar headband.
The headmaster growled out, "He's not the one. He's here somewhere. Don't let him leave the cave!"
Another guard saw a headband and quickly ran towards that child but when he grabbed the student it turned out to be On Ji who asked, "Yes?"
A third guard saw two headbands and ran over to those children and grabbed them but once again it was just random students wearing the same headbands.
Suddenly the students gathered around the guards and headmaster all of them wearing headbands saying, "You looking for me, over here, hey, I have a headband!"
As the students covered for Aang he and the rest of the group quietly snuck out of the back of the cave.
But before he left, he waved goodbye to his schoolmates in which On Ji waved goodbye back.
Aang then back up before slamming his fists together making the cave wall lower surprising On Ji before she smiled a small smile while thinking "I knew you were special, Kuzon."

As the students held the guards back the Gaang was already in the sky on Appa heading to their next destination.
As they flew Dijin couldn't help but compliment Aang saying, "Way to go, dance master. I think you really helped those kids. You taught them to be free."
Aang just rubbed his head embarrassed as he said, "I don't know. It was just a dance party, that's all."
Katara just smiled at Aang saying, well, that was some dance party, Aang." Katara then moved over and kissed Aang on the cheek making him blush.
Dijin seeing this, clapped his hands saying "Flamey-o sir, Flamey-o."
The group then shared a laugh as they flew away.

Meanwhile, In the industrial part of the Fire Nation capital. Prince Zuko was heading towards a meeting spot he had set up to hire a certain individual.
The reason for this was that Zuko didn't believe The Avatar was dead due to the fact he remembered the special water that Katara had tried to use on him.
So, Zuko was here to remedy that situation.
Zuko came to a halt in a dark alley next to a billowing factory.
He didn't have to wait long for his contact when he heard a large metallic thud from behind him.
Zuko turned around and saw a figure in the dark who looked to be at least 7 feet tall.
Zuko spoke to the figure saying, "You sure you weren't followed?"
Zuko just saw the figure nod his head before he spoke again saying, "I've heard about you. They say you're good at what you do and even better at keeping secrets. The Avatar's alive. I want you to find him and kill him."
Zuko then threw a bag of gold pieces at the figure's feet.
The figure moved forward into the moonlight grabbing the payment and revealing himself.
The figure was a man being in early thirties, he was bald, he had a tattoo on his forehead in the shape of a third eye, he had a small beard and mustache that covered his chin, he wore a sleeveless grey shirt that was open in the front showing off his muscular frame, He was missing both his right arm and right leg and replaced them with metal prosthetic's, and he had on a pair of grey loose pants with one leg stuffed into his only boot.
