AN: Before we begin, I just want to say something. This is the final arc of this story. Other than a small story that will be a What If, this will be the last of Spider-Man Beyond. So, let's try and get the reviews going for this. This will be the last of Spider-Man Beyond.

"Come on, Sabella. You've got to tell me something." Paul said. "Christoph knows what Librium is after, but he's not saying anything. Surely, you must know something."

"I'm sorry, but I know nothing about this D-EL8." Sabella said. Paul is still trying to figure out what Librium is after. Christoph seems to know, but he's not saying anything. It's the only clue they have and they need to figure this out before Librium gets it.

"You work for him. Is there really nothing you can tell me?" Paul said.

"I keep telling you that I don't know and I couldn't." Sabella said. "It's called client privileges. Unless he allows it, I can't really talk about it. Besides, I'm not exactly associated with him anymore. I was with the meteor, but not with something like this." Paul wasn't getting anywhere like this, but Christoph is now the only lead to what Librium is after. He has to keep trying.

"If that's the case, I'm gonna have to keep going directly to the source." Paul said as he began to change into his costume. As he was getting ready, Sabella got an alert about an email. She opened it up on her computer and was rather shocked at what she was reading. Paul took a look at her face and noticed it. "Everything okay there?"

"Yes. Just an email from back home." Sabella said.

"Is it family asking how you're doing?" Paul joked. Considering what Sabella's life was like back home, he knew that wouldn't be the case. However, she didn't really react or anything. It made him more concerned about her. "What's wrong?"

"It's...nothing." Sabella said as she just closed her computer. "I've just been alerted about a...delicate situation." Something was going on, but she clearly wasn't going to tell him. "Listen, it's nothing you should worry about. I can handle it. You should stay focus on figuring out what it is Librium is after." She tried to walk past him, but Paul put his arm around her and kept her from going anywhere.

"You know you can talk to me if you have a problem, right?" Paul asked.

"Of course, but you know I can handle myself." Sabella said.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm not here for you." Paul said. "Listen, we've been through a lot together. I really care about you, Sabella. That means you can come to me and talk to me if you have a problem." Sabella greatly appreciated that. She reached for his face and kissed him out of that appreciation.

"Thank you, but please just let me handle this. It's a little personal for me." Sabella claimed. Paul wished he could help, but he's got to do something about Librium, and he wanted to respect Sabella's boundaries. All he can really do is hope she comes to him when she's ready.

...

Silvio Industries

"Just keep an eye on things. I'll meet with you as soon as I can." Christoph said as he was on the phone and gathering everything he could from his office. He seemed rather frantic about something. As he was about to walk out of his office, he heard something landing down. "I knew you would show eventually." He said as he turned to see Spider-Man.

"You don't call, you don't text, so how I am I suppose to be in the know?" Paul claimed. "What's D-EL8?"

"It's safe for now. I'm going to make sure that it's..." He was about to walk out the door, but that was when he saw Venom and Blite blocking it.

"We tried asking nicely." Lindsay said.

"I think you can spare some time." Thomas said. "We just have only a few questions, or would you prefer the police know about this?"

"The police?" Christoph questioned.

"You know something, Christoph. The police already know they're after this D-EL8, but they don't know that you are in possession with it." Paul said. "Tell us what it is. It might help save people. Librium is ruthless and will stop at nothing to get what they want." Christoph did seem scared about it, but he knows he has to say something. "What is it?"

"It's something I created during my days as White Streak." Christoph said as he dropped everything and talked about it. "It's something that shouldn't be exposed. You remember Spencer, do you? You remember him as Hydra."

"Yeah, your lead scientist before we took him out of the picture for good." Thomas said.

"D-EL8 is a formula we were working on. It's code for...disease elimination." Christoph said.

"Disease elimination?" Paul questioned.

"It was something I was going to make profit out of it. It's a formula designed to neutralize viruses and such like cancer, pneumonia, and more." Christoph said. "Something like that would have made me millions, something in my more legitimate and legal business dealings."

"Out of money you obtained illegally all those years ago." Thomas pointed out.

"That's what it was originally intended for. We tried examining all kinds of diseases and such, find common traits that could be targeted and eliminated." Christoph said and began talking with shame. "However, something went terribly wrong, and we got the opposite of what we were looking for. Rather than creating the perfect cure, we made a dangerous disease of our own, a lethal one." Hearing that was a shock and a surprise to all of them.

"Are you saying it's a bioweapon?!" Lindsay said.

"Sadly, that is one way to put it." Christoph claimed. "Even I thought it was too dangerous. We stopped production and locked it away. If that were to ever get out, New York would fall. Maybe even further out of the city."

"You said you locked it away, but you never disposed of it?!" Paul said as that sounded like a grave mistake.

"We couldn't without finding a way to dispose of it properly, complete annihilation of it." Christoph claimed. "The virus just needs to be airborne and then disaster strikes." None of them like how this was sounding. "I wanted to get rid of it, but things became rather difficult. Even more so when Spencer became Hydra. Until I did have a way to properly dispose of it, all I could do was keep it locked away."

"But now Librium is after it." Thomas said. "Why would they be after it?"

"Something like that would sell highly on the black market." Lindsay said. "Enemies of our country would love to get their hands on it."

"But Librium aren't terrorists. They're just another criminal organization that wants to claim most of New York." Thomas pointed out. "Some of them might not even be doing this on their own freewill considering Balancer's powers."

"It doesn't matter." Paul said. "We need to make sure they don't get their hands on it, and they probably know where it is. Tell us where you have it hidden, Christoph!"

"Not to worry. I set up a few dummy locations, and I've had the true location hidden from my company's network for a situation just like this." Christoph said.

"But they'll eventually figure out they've been duped and come back." Thomas said.

"Which is why we're going to catch them and find out who is really behind all of this." Paul claimed. "Where's the first location?"

"I already called it in. I'm not taking any chances with this, so I called in some...help." Christoph said.

"And we'll help them. Just give us the location and stop wasting our time." Paul demanded. Christoph did what he said as he pulled out an address and gave it.

"I should warn you. The help I called in doesn't play nice exactly." Christoph said.

"When push comes to shove, neither do we." Paul claimed as he took the address.

...

Chinatown

Paul and the others were heading for the first address they gave them: a warehouse in Chinatown. The three of them swung in and made it, but it looked like there was no sign of anyone there.

"See anything?" Paul questioned.

"Doesn't look like anyone's been here." Thomas said.

"How can that be? They had a huge head start on us. How come Librium hasn't been here yet?" Lindsay questioned.

"Wait out here if someone shows up. Venom and I will check out the inside." Paul said as he and Thomas went in to check it out. They started with the door, but it was locked up tight. "The door is still locked."

"I see an open window." Thomas said as he pointed up. They both jumped up through the window and had a look around, but there was still no sign that anyone was here. "Is this place really a lab or something?"

"We're talking about Christoph Silvio when he was White Streak. Anything is really possible." Paul said as he jumped down on the floor. He looked around, but there were still no signs that anyone was ever there. "This doesn't make sense. Why hasn't Librium been here yet?"

"Christoph did say there were a few dummy locations." Thomas said. "Maybe they hit one of them?"

"This was the first one on the list. We're missing something." Paul said as he couldn't figure it out. Meanwhile, Lindsay was standing guard for anything, but nothing really happened. Just when things seemed quiet, she heard something and it sounded like there was something flying in the air. She looked up and saw a flying machine they haven't seen before.

"Guys! You might want to see this!" Lindsay called. That was when guys dressed in white wearing armored padding and helmets started to jump out of the flying machine...and they were armed. A couple of them landed down with one pulling out a small explosive. He threw it at Lindsay and it detonated with her being blown back.

"Blite!" Paul called as they hurried out. More of the armed men came out and took fire. "Whoa!" He said as he webbed one's weapon and pulled it away. "I don't know who you are, but there are nicer ways to say hello!" That was when someone else stepped in. This man had platinum hair in a scissor-cut style. He wore a white jacket with him wearing grey padding over his body. He jumped right down and got to Spider-Man. He didn't hesitate as he kicked Paul as hard as he could right in the chest.

"Hey!" Thomas tried to grab him, but the guy twirled around and kicked him right in the head. The other men moved in as they incapacitated Blite and Venom. Thomas even got electrocuted by a couple of them. The man who kicked Paul pulled out a small device and tossed it at him. It unleashed a rope that lassoed around him and was electrocuting him.

"Who are you guys?" Paul questioned through the pain. It didn't seem like he wasn't going to get an answer as the man pulled out a couple high-tech guns and aimed right at Paul. He was ready to kill him right there.

"Stop!" Out of nowhere, Sabella showed up as she jumped down and got between them.

"Sabella?" The man questioned.

"What are you doing to these people?" Sabella said.

"I have my orders." The man claimed.

"These people are with me! They are not the ones you are after, so stand down!" Sabella insisted. It seemed like he listened as he released Paul and the others.

"I'm going on a limb here, but I think this is the help Christoph called." Thomas said as they tried pulling themselves together.

"Sabella, what's going on? Who is this guy?" Paul questioned.

"This is Sabastian... He's my brother." Sabella said.

"Brother?! You have a brother?!" Paul said as he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"I was told he and his men were coming, but this was not how I wanted you to meet." Sabella said.

"Well, you made quite an impression...on my chest! Still, good to meet you, I suppose." Paul said as he tried being friendly and held out his hand to him.

"Next time you get in my way, I will not be so gentle." Sabastian warned as he turned away and his men were clearing out.

"That was being gentle?!" Thomas complained. There's clearly going to be some problems here. Finding out Sabella has a brother is quite the surprise, but she didn't look pleased to see him.

"Is now a good time to talk? Was the email you got about him?" Paul questioned.

"Yes..." Sabella admitted. "I was told he and his men were coming. Christoph Silvio hired the help Sable International for this situation, but I fear we're in a dangerous situation now that he is here."

"What do you mean?" Lindsay questioned.

"My brother and I are very different. If I hadn't stepped in, he would have killed you." Sabella said. "I assume he thought you were with Librium. He doesn't care who gets hurt, he will not hesitate to kill people. All that does matter to him is that the job is done."

"You don't say. We have the bruises that prove that." Thomas said as he was still sore.

"So now what?" Lindsay said.

"We keep going." Paul said. "We've got to find Librium and make sure they don't get this abomination that Christoph created." They agreed with that and kept going. Paul looked back and saw that Sabella was in a delicate situation because of her brother now. "Hey... Are you going to be okay?"

"Yeah, but I am worried what will happen with my brother. I should have warned you about him." Sabella said as she fears what's going to happen. Her brother is clearly not as nice as she is.

"It will be okay." Paul said as he placed his hand on her back and the two got walking. Not how Paul pictured meeting her family, but Sabella is in a tough spot now because of her brother. With her brother entering the picture, and as ruthless as Sabella warns, what can happen from here on the search for a lethal virus?
