Making the Spiritual Connection of Friends
Rukia is looking out the window of Ichigo's room having deep in thoughts about the time at the graveyard when Ichigo fought the Grand Fisher, and her thoughts are on more on that boy named Yoh Asakura who suddenly showed up to save Ichigo and drove Grand Fisher away.
"Hey Rukia, I brought back some snacks if you want." Ichigo said as he walks into the room.
"Huh, oh thanks." Rukia responded without taking her eyes off the window.
"You thinking some deep Soul Reaper stuff?" Ichigo asked.
"Something like that. Actually, it's more about that boy we meet two weeks ago at the graveyard when he attacked Grand Fisher." Rukia revealed what's been on her mind.
"Oh yeah, that kid." Ichigo remembered him.
"Man, he sure came out of nowhere and saved my ass, I never got the chance to thank him when he left." Ichigo said as he sat on the bed next to Rukia.
"Yoh Asakura, strange kid and it's even stranger that we hadn't run into him in the past two weeks." Ichigo said.
"Well, he did say he recently moved into Karakura Town, so he should still be within the city meaning we'll run into him eventually." Rukia pointed out.
"Wow, you're so smart and calm when you're like that, Rukia!" A stuff lion snuggled onto her butt.
But Rukia immediately kicks the stuff lion away and crashing onto the door of the closet then slide down painful on the floor.
"Seriously, Kon. Why do you keep doing this to yourself?" Ichigo asked sighing.
"Because I'm a better looker for the ladies than your stupid scary face." Kon mocked.
Kon is a Mod Soul with his pill inside the body of the stuff lion doll. The doll has a light tan body with seams running up and down the entire thing. The arms and legs each have four white, flat claws which serve as his fingers and toes. A button is placed in the center of the body where his belly button would be. He has two beady black eyes and small ears with pink inside of them. His head is surprisingly flat when viewed from the side and he has a brown, spiky mane atop his head. Hanging from his lower back is a small tail.
"Why you not!" Ichigo grabbed Kon by the head and starts punching him which Kon responded with some hits of his own.
"But you know, this does get me curious about this Yoh kid you mentioned." Kon said.
"Yeah, like what?" Ichigo asked.
"Well, I guess he's kind of like you in a way." Kon answered confusing Ichigo and Rukia.
"What do you mean by that?" Rukia asked curiously.
"Well, didn't Ichigo already have strong spiritual energy before you made him a Soul Reaper, and now there's another kid who is like that only stronger and seem cooler than this idiot." Kon pointed out and was slammed onto the floor.
"Shut up." Ichigo angered of the stuffy bastard.
"But he's right about the kid having strong spiritual energy." Rukia stated.
"If only we could learn more about him." Rukia said.
"Well, how about we go on patrolling now to see if there are any Hollows. With any luck, we might be able to meet the kid too." Ichigo suggested.
"Yeah, I think you're right." Rukia nodded, agreeing with the idea.
(With Yoh)
"Alright, let see what else this town has to offer me." Yoh smiled as he walks around the street while carrying his cloth with his sword inside.
Yoh thought abut going to a music store to see if they have any cool music to listen and maybe get a little snack too, but then he notices something a little odd when he senses a small but strong spiritual pressure.
"Hmm, it looks like there is something close by. In fact, I can sense two of them." Yoh said to himself.
Yoh started following the spiritual senses leading him into an alleyway to the other side of the street and headed down to somewhere close behind a building that is a video game store, that's when he spotted two girls are being ganged up by fifteen gangsters including four being girls.
"Why don't you just leave us alone already." One girl with purple hair angered while defending the girl with orange hair behind her.
"Oh please, Tatsuki, even you can't be strong enough to take on this many thugs." One thug girl with red hair laughed.
"Besides, we want payback for beating up some our friends the other day." One male thug with a lizard tattoo on his cheek cracked his knuckles.
"If this is about saying your tattoo look cute, I really meant it like the cartoon lizard I used to watch as a kid." The orange hair girl said.
"Pretty sure this is not about cartoon, Orihime." Tatsuki sighed.
Tatsuki is a teenager of average height with purple hair and brown eyes. She is a tomboy and has a very lean frame. Her hair used to be short and dark, kept spiked out at the sides, in tune with her less than feminine appearance. She wears a red shirt with a yellow star on the left side, green dark pants, and white sneakers. Breasts sizes: C-cup.
Orihime is a teenager of average height. She has brown eyes and long, waist-length, burnt orange hair. She wears her hair in bangs tucked behind her ears with hairpins. She wears a green shirt with a picture of a silly cartoon rabbit in the middle, long blue skirt with shorts underneath, and brown shoes. Breasts sizes: H-cup.
"Talk stupid all you want, it's not gonna change anything when you're about to get your beating." The other thug girl with a nose ring stated.
"Yeah, let's get them!" One thug with a pink mohawk commanded as the others agree.
"This is seriously going to be a waste of our time." Tatsuki angered as she ready herself for a fight.
Suddenly three of the thugs from behind the group were tossed into the air and crashed onto the ground between them and the girls, they are confused of what just happened.
"You know, it's very rude to gang up on people like that." Yoh said getting everyone's attention.
"Who the fuck is this kid?" One of the thugs asked.
"Was he the one who beat up our guys?" Another thug asked shock.
"There's no way, he's just a little kid." One female thug tried to think of that but getting a weird feeling about this kid.
"(Ah, so those two are the spiritual energy I felt.)" Yoh thought spotted Tatsuki and Orhimie through the thugs.
"Would it be too much trouble to ask you guys to leave?" Yoh asked with a smile.
"How about you die!" Several thugs charged at Yoh to pound him to dust for beating up their friends.
But Yoh moved faster before they could react as he smacks some of the thugs away and even kick them down as he flips over to the girls who are surprised of this strong boy.
"Holy shit, where did you learn to fight like that?" Tatsuki asked, wondering if this kid would be interested in joining her karate dojo.
"Raised in a temple, but I really don't like fighting much unless it's necessary." Yoh answered.
"Don't think you're getting away with this, brat!" One fat thug charged for the intention of flatten him with his big belly.
"How about you get away from him!" Tatsuki threw a punch sending the fat thug flying.
"Nice punch." Yoh complimented.
"Thanks." Tatsuki smirked.
"Orihime, you stay back and stay close to the wall." Tatsuki said to her friend who nodded.
Yoh and Tatsuki got to work on beating down the thugs as they each took out one and two at a time, but Yoh seem to have more combat and physical training to beat up more than she can and smacked one last thug with his sealed sword.
"That'll teach them not to mess with us." Tatsuki smirked.
"Actually, I counted and there appears to be two missing." Yoh noticed.
"Help!" Orihime cried out for help.
The two turn around to see that Orihime has been taken hostage by two of the last thugs with one grabbing her arms and the other her hair with a knife close to her face.
"If you don't want anything bad happening to this girl, then you better not even think about moving at all." One thug smirked.
"You assholes!" Tatsuki cursed those bullies.
"Now, now, you should be more worried about how you're gonna save your friend here." The second last thug smirked.
Yoh was starting to feel a little worry that one of the girls he just met is about to get hurt by these bad people wishing there was something he can do, but he worries went away when he saw something or someone coming to one of the thugs without them even noticing.
"You know, you guys aren't really that bright, are you?" Yoh asked.
"What was that? One thug asked holding Orihime's arms angry.
"You think this is some kind of joke, do ya?" The knife holding thug glared at the kid.
Suddenly a large and strong hand grab the thug's hand with the knife much to his shock and pulling it away from Orihime's face, and he became shocked of seeing the really tall teen.
"You shouldn't pick on others like that. It'd be pointless." The tall teen scolded them softly and deep.
"Alright, Chad!" Tatsuki cheered.
"Oh, hello Chad, didn't expect to see you here." Orihime greeted her friend.
"Hi, Orihime." Chad greeted back to the orange hair girl.
"(Hmm, looking at this guy, I say he's a mixture of Japanese and Mexican.)" Yoh thought noticed the trait on this guy while rubbing his chin.
Chadis a teenager of Mexican and Japanese descent. He is dark-skinned with pronounced cheekbones and has wavy brown hair with bangs that generally hangs over his brown eyes. He is a muscular and extremely tall man and appears to be much older than he actually is. He wears a black sleeveless shirt with red lines forming into the face of a skull with horns, dark gray pants, and white shoes.
Chad easily pulls the knife away and crush the hand causing the thug to drop the knife before he can punch the guy down going unconscious.
"OH MY GOD?!" The thug holding Orihime gasped with his nose drooling and his eyes look like they're about to pop out.
"You know, I think I don't like being touch like this anymore." Orihime said before stomping on the thug's foot causing him to scream in pain and let go of her.
"Please go home and behave for your mother better!" Orihime shouted as she shoulders throw the thug onto the ground.
"Whoa, didn't think she could fight like that." Yoh surprised.
"She was trained by me and let me tell you that she got the strength of a blackbelt!" Tatsuki grinned, glad to see Orihime using the training she taught her.
"Nice of you to come and save your friends, Chad." Yoh complimented to the big guy.
"I should be thanking you for helping them." Chad said.
"My name is Yoh Asakura, I just moved in this town two weeks ago." Yoh introduced himself.
"It's very nice to meet you, I'm Orihime Inoue and I enjoy sweets!" Orihime greeted with the revealing of her name and even food.
"Tatsuki Arisawa, welcome to the town." Tatsuki smiled.
"My full name is Yasutora Sado, but I also go by Chad among my friends like these girls and some others." Chad revealed his full name.
"I gotta say, you three feel unique than the average teengers." Yoh commented.
"We are, how so?" Orihime wondered what Yoh could mean.
"Well, you could say I can sense you strong in spirit." Yoh smiled.
"(Strong in spirit?)" Chad, Tatsuki, and Orihime thought felt something odd like this kid was actually saying something more than just those words.
"Hey, you guys wanna hang out some time? You all seem like cool people to trust and be friends with." Yoh asked.
"Sure, you did just come in to save me and Orihime. I can tell we're gonna be good friends together." Tatsuki smiled.
"Yay! We got a new friend; we should celebrate that Yoh have moved into Karakura Town too with lots of snacks!" Orihime suggested exciting.
"Actually, the people I'm living with already threw a little party for me to welcome me into their home, but I wouldn't mind having fun with you." Yoh stated with a kind smile.
"Oh goody, then you should try some of the food I make!" Orihime clapped her hands.
"Just a heads up, the food she makes are a little odd and too big for a simple snack of meals." Tasuki warned whispering to Yoh's ear.
"I'm sure it'll taste great once I get to try one." Yoh chuckled.
"It's your life, kid." Tatsuki shrugged.
"So, here's to our new friendship?" Yoh held up his fist to the others.
"Sure." Chad nodded and fist bump him.
"Oh, we should do that too, Tatsuki!" Orihime excited and fist bump on Yoh's and Chad's fists.
"We already said we're friends, but I guess we can do something like this." Tatsuki chuckled as she put her fist onto theirs.
Yoh smile as his body glow just a bit so that the others don't notice this as the glow also transfer onto his three new friends' bodies, a little technique that Yoh learned from his grandmother back home.
"Quick question, do you guys by any chance know a guy name Ichigo Kurosaki?" Yoh asked.
"Hey, we do know that name and we do know Ichigo!" Orihime gasped smiling.
"Really? I actually met him two weeks ago when I went to the graveyard to take a nap." Yoh mentioned.
"You take naps at a graveyard?" The three older teens asked shock.
"Ichigo seems like a good guy and it looks like he got a lot on plate about something." Yoh said.
"Yeah, it's like there is something else going on in Ichigo's life but I couldn't figure out why." Tatsuki said.
Chad was silent because he may know something else that is going on with Ichigo and Rukia though decided to keep it quiet for now, but he can also tell Yoh could know something as well.
"Well, I got to get going. It was nice meeting you guys." Yoh said as he walks away.
"Oh, you're going already? I was hoping to take you to this sweet shop." Orihime said sad.
"Don't worry, you all will be seeing more of me than you think." Yoh assured as he opens the bag showing the hilt of the sword.
Then Yoh blitz jump up on the side of the building and pulls out his sword for a slash attack to slice a Hollow in four in one swing, the Hollow screams in pain as it disintegrates while the three teens are shocked of what they just saw.
Yoh look back at seeing the shock look on his new friend's face before disappearing from sight.
(With Rukia and Ichigo)
"Now that's odd." Rukia said looking at her phone.
"What's up?" Ichigo asked after dealing with one Hollow.
"There was a Hollow signal not too far from here just a second ago, but now it's gone like something already dealt with the Hollow." Rukia explained.
"Huh, could it be another Soul Reaper?" Rukia wondered.
"I don't think so, maybe it was Yoh." Ichigo guessed.
"I wouldn't give that a pass since he was able to hurt one two weeks ago." Rukia agreed.
"Glad to know I haven't been forgotten." Yoh said suddenly appearing between the two shocking them.
"Where the hell did you come from?" Ichigo asked.
"I felt your spiritual energy here and thought about coming over. And you seem to be getting better with handling Hollows." Yoh answered.
"I have some questions that I want them answers." Rukia said.
"I'll tell you as much as I can, but first we need to help Ichigo to unlock his Zanpakutō in order to become stronger." Yoh said shocking Rukia and confusing Ichigo.
"Zanpakutō, what the hell is he talking about?" Ichigo asked Rukia.
"More importantly, how do you know about Zanpakutō. You're no normal human, are you?" Rukia asked.
"Don't worry, I'm a friend." Yoh assured with a trustful smile.

Yoh has gotten himself comfortable in Karakura Town with now meeting three people who are also close friends of Ichigo, and it looks like he did something to them with how shocked they were when seeing Yoh killed that Hollow. And now he is going to help Ichigo to unlock his Zanpakutō with Rukia who knew more about it as well.
