Notes about this the rabbit monster whom Tai's been seeing in his dreams lately isn't outright named or given any truly obvious clues to who they are or what their true identity is,it's pretty clear that it's the Monster Rancher anime version of Hare once you see the words ''intelligent'',''prudent'',''proud'',''vain'',''feminine''[this adjective will used in a later chapter but it fits Hare very well,''childish''[for those of you who have seen his pranks/tricks in the anime, you know that this trait holds very,very true for Hare and he'll probably never really outgrow it at all...*laughs,''ditzy''[only to a limited extent anyway, 'cause let's face it Hare's stillalot smarter than Mimi is and in a contest of intelligence between the two of them there's no way that Mimi would win that contest on a good day ...] and ''greedy'' used to the rabbit monster that Tai has been seeing in most of his dreams while he sleeps at night in the Digiworld lately. I am sort of borrowing a scene from Episode 28 of the original Digimon Adventure Anime,I have altered the scene enough so that it fits story to start this story properly and also to avoid any legal problems and also as a last personal note so that make the story feel more like a fanfic than an anime episode ripoff(which this isn't, thank you very much I can truly assure you of that .)So please don't sue me!
Adjustments to this chapter:A lot of subtle changes in the dialogue in terms of the Digimon Adventure 01 episode script of "It's all in the cards"but the most obvious changes are that I added my original characters'(OCS)voices into the story and thus fleshed out these characters or at least I established hints of what their personalities are like and how they interact with the Digidestined will help give way some clues to which of the Searchers' monsters that they could get along well and which monsters that they're most likely to clash with as well.
Disclaimer:I do not own the original Digimon Adventure 01 anime or the Monster Rancher anime series or games, they belong to their rightful owners which are Bandai((Digimon Adventure 01)) and Tecmo ((Monster Rancher)).However I do own the female and male OCs along with their respective Digimon Partners -I also own Tiger and Hare's offspring who will be conceived and born later in the story as well once they've become an official item/couple/mates,so please don't use any of them without my consent or permission settings timeline for both anime series:About episode 28 for the Digimon Adventure anime series ,for the Monster Rancher anime series cast it'd be about post-episode 17 but pre-twenties episode timeline for the Monster Rancher anime series cast so that all fans of both anime shows/series here can keep an accurate timeline of when this story relates to both anime's respective arcs for character development -also I feel somewhat convinced that if I set the story with the episode 6-to-10((Episode 6 is Hare's debut episode in the Monster Rancher anime,whereas in the sixth episode of the original Digimon Adventure anime is the debut episode of Palmon's champion form of Togemon so in effect they're both debut episodes in some form or way...))of the Monster Rancher anime that Hare wouldn't be as genuinely or openly loyal,attached, nurturing,or protective to the Searchers or Genki enough to give him a good amount of genuine yaoi credulity to warrant him being paired up with either Genki or Tiger((Although I'd still look to pair up with each other anyway and avoid heterosexual implications or suggestio s that they are straight[which are they not thank you very much!]but this has a lot more do with how I'm setting up the story than any personal feelings towards them as a couple goes.))before that episode's events to suggest that he has romantic feelings for either Genki or Tiger and also he came off as somewhat lazy,spoiled((not unlike Mimi from Digimon Adventure unfortunately...-)),selfish, ditzy,moody and money-obesssed/greedy to pull such genuine, sincere romantic gestures effectively enough without coming across as lying, scamming or trying to be mean for the heck of it.*Laughs quite loudly at Hare who was happy and relaxing until just now his fur starting to bristle a little bit, quickly trots over to my face and gives a vicious, resentful hiss of anger before scratching me on the nose quite hard with his powerful claws drawing a little bit of blood. Hare:HEY!I'm NOT SELFISH OR SPITEFUL! YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW OR ELSE YOU'LL BE SORRY! ALSO I AM ACTUALLY A HIGHLY ROMANTIC MONSTER AT HEART,DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!?*Growls a little bit,then hisses angrily*Me'*Gulps a bit nervously scared a bit shitless*O-okay,I'm sorry Hare for being mean,rude and insensitive but you know full that you're not always with people or other monsters in the anime series...Hare*Angrily hisses again and twitches one eye irritably*What did you just say about me!? [Monster Rancher anime character inconsistency warning to this chapter:Throughout you'll notice that the other six members of the Searchers are mentioned but not really seen or even given speaking lines at all in this chapter,why is that you ask?Well here's your is a rift going on between Genki and the other Searchers due to some rash decisions he made in a battle that really tired out and solidly{{but not permanently, thankfully enough}}the other Searchers' energy reserves out to the max for a couple of weeks at the most but Genki stubbornly sees wrongly interprets this lack of energy as laziness,quitting and cowardice at the time,not at all aware that he inadvertently sparked strong feelings of resentment,bitterness [temporary bitterness yes but bitterness just the same,hurt,sullenness and anger from the other Searchers towards him without him meaning to do so on purpose (which he wouldn't do,if you know Genki well enough).So if the Searcher's teamwork comes off as nonexistent or absent from this chapter,remember that this rift between Genki his Monster Rancher friends serves a critical role in this chapter for Genki to be at odds with his friends as opposed to being on good terms with them for now so that way I can more credibly and believably explain their absence and lack of presence in this chapter and also the first three other chapters of this story as a better good,reasonable excuse for why they're only mentioned and named in this chapter but they're not physically present with Genki or even any spoken words at all which better explains why they're not with Genki when he meets the Digidestined for the first time since usually anyone who's be an ally for the Searchers would meet Genki and his friends as a team like they would do so in the anime. Permanent Story Warnings in this fanfic((Throughout every chapter)):Yaoi,Yuri, Ocs in the story related to Genki (Joe's oc relative is a villainess...That's I'll say about her for now.)are very revelant to the story, TigerxHare yaoi slash, GenkixTai yaoi slash, GenkixHare yaoi , TaiXHarexAgu love traingle, AguxHare yaoi,Yamachi yaoi(ooooh yes...but it'll show up in later chapters rather than this one except for a few minutes in the story...),SoraxOC(Female) yuri, Female OcxFemale Oc yuri (multiple),slight Mimi bashing(Unlike Hare she's easier to hate but still she's more likeable than Monster Rancher's Gali and Naga since those two monsters do such despicable things to the Searchers when they're evil...Even they do eventually reform later on in the series they're pretty hard to like...),definite Gali bashing (He earned this spotvery quickly due to the way he went after the Searchers and him trying to smash poor Mocchi to smithereens did not endear him to me...Plus he's really hard to really,truly like in the beginning of the anime and he does start out as a baddie plus he did send Joker to kill the Searchers in episode 17 so he definitely kind deserves it...),Violence(Majorly so and well-defined but not full-on top adult level kind of violence however these are both kid's anime shows although they're more adult in terms of violence than some anime shows are so it evens it out...),abuse(Oooh yes and how!),deceitful characters pretending to be someone else for evil reasons or petty personal gain (okay that one would definitely tick off some people and monsters I know here...),natural male birth scene(With Mpreg involved it's to be expected and enjoyed,you know?)capture/kidnapping incest implied(only briefly but it's not mentioned until the rest of the Searchers rejoin Genki and meet the Digidestined for the first time although I intend to go slow for this...). This chapter's warnings:I made some slight changes to the canon original Digimon Adventure episode,''It's all in the cards'' in terms of the whole story and I decided to give slightly more dialogue added on that scene than the original canon Digimon adventure episode itself had so don't go looking at Youtube or some other website like that for references please! Besides it's also needed for the story and this chapter to kick off(aka begin) properly don't sue me please! Also I intend to add more do dialogue to my OCS here than they have in the story I have posted on (actually it's the same story and chapter but here I'm going expand a bit and clarify who these characters are more clearly here)but otherwise keep the story pretty much the same. Story Summary:Ever wonder would happen if there had been sixteen cards given to the Digidestined by Gennai in the episode''It's all in the cards'' to open the gate to earth in Myotismon's castle instead of ten cards like in the anime and one of those cards had Hare's picture on it instead of a Digimon for some unknown reason (although there are four other cards with Suezo's, Mochi's,Tiger's and Golem's pictures on them instead of Digimon as well,so Hare's not the only monster whose presence on a card is felt here.)but Gennai definitely knew the reason behind why the Searchers' monsters showed up on those cards and that reason is tied to a former general of Etemon's who defected over to the Baddie's side without either side knowing about it?(Although to be fair , the defection occurs before any cannonical events of either anime started so this is to be expected...)And what if Genki had been chosen by the Digital world/Digiworld to save the Digital world/Digiworld like the other Digidestined but due to being transported to the Monster Rancher world his Digivice never appeared in the Real world(Earth) and the Digivice was still stuck in the Digital world with the other Digidestined Digimon Partners being assigned to give Genki both his digivice ,tag,crest and inexperienced Digimon Partner Motanekiamon he didn't even know he had been waiting for without really realizing it since he's currently stuck in the Monster Rancher world?Or the fact that his older twin sister{{{{By two hours thank you very much but they are still twins nontheless}}}}had also been chosen to become a Digidestined while she was at summer camp with the other Digidestined but Genki didn't go to summer camp for some odd reason or lack of interest and she had to endure some painful problems without him as a result of his somewhat selfish, childish decision not to go summer camp with her?What if the Monsters that Genki's been traveling with had the attributes of the crests that the Digidestined have but each monster that Genki has been traveling with was assigned an attributed crest that was deemed to be ''missing'' or ''unnoticeable'' by the Digital world/Digiworld that they must acquire in order to use the crest's powers and the crests themselves properly since they will eventually need access to those powers and forms now that they're fighting Evil Digimon along with the Baddies they're used to fighting as well and that all of the members of the Searchers were being unknowingly assessed by a group of ancient Digimon who've lived in the Monster Rancher world since it's very beginning but were never really seen properly or truly confirmed to exist until now,these Digimon had been carefully watching those five monster's(the Searchers' monsters to clarify)progress since prior to meeting(this applies to all five monsters including Mocchi)Genki and his seemingly random(which it isn't, thank you very much) arrival upon being transported into the Monster Rancher World?What if Tiger and Hare's relationship improved to the point where Hare gets pregnant with Tiger and his very first litter of kits/offspring/babies and the mixed group has to adjust their traveling pace because of it(later on in Hare's pregnancy)?One thing's for certain with a cast this big,lively,quirky and diverse things won't certainly stay permanently boring for too long or consistently provide easy financial ease(a very common theme/problem for The Searchers and Hare at times... Although his penchant for keeping track of money though it is a good thing in the long run could also one or more people or digimon drive completely nuts/crazy/insane after a while since Hare has a bad habit of fretting over money like a mother being overtly fussy with her child...)for a group this big and diverse either. Prologue chapter: The card mixup,battle Doukougoumon and unexpected transportation to another world that isn't Earth but another world of full non-digital monsters oh my! Genki's unexpected discovery in the desert.{{Digital World/Digiworld -Myotismon's castle, probably late morning or early afternoon at the least...}}[The Digidestined's Digimon Partners are fighting Doukougoumon a giant spiderlike Digimon,the song "Hey Digimon" is heard playing in the background since Matt's Digimon Partner Garurumon has digivolved into his ultimate form of Weregarurumon and is currently battling the evil aforementioned spiderlike Digimon called Doukougoumon and has just fred both Togemon,Ikkakumon, Olianimon and Diearlaneimon from his evil is trying to make a decision on which card to use to open the gate to Earth but is hesitating and it shows.]{What's eating at Tai now,'cause I hope it's not that rabbit monster he claims that he's been seeing in his dreams...but now's reallynot the time to ask...It just isn't , I know that without having to be told by someone else for once which is definitely something of a rarity for me.}}Evelyn slightly grimly and seriously with a clarity she quite exhibited or displayed most of the time (she was a genuine ditz and idiot a vast majority of the time true but she was capable of thinking deeply if she had to or if it was required and noone was stepping up to the plate to think clearly and sensibly) thought to herself,which to be honest wasn't that normal for her-in fact for her to be this rational and clear-sighted was a well-known rarity for her but given this situation even Evelyn knew that she didn't say something smart to their leader that the other members would start to panic quickly and that could be truly disasterous right now."Tai just hurry up with your decision, it's not like you're playing a game of catch here you know!"Evelyn yelled loudly at her leader, causing Tai's head to turn around and give her a vicious but controlled death glare before he spoke."Hey Evelyn, think I'm that stupid!?I know we're in trouble here!" Tai angrily snapped back at her,his temper flaring a little took a deep breath for a minute, sighed softly and then pointed to the battle that was occuring behind them."Honestly Tai, how long do you think Weregarurumon's gonna last against that Digimon !?I'm just suggesting that you speed it up that's all!"Evelyn yelled her voice a little bit softer this time but her annoyance and directness came across to Tai just as clearly as he registered the point she was trying to make and he saw it now -Weregarurumon very briefly blinked and looked over at the mention of his name but stay focused on battling the evil Digimon who was trying to kill them."Alright Ev, I'll try to speed to this up."Tai said honestly, feeling himself calm down for a brief moment but he didn't relax since he knew that could prove fatal if he did relax right now possibly becoming a Digimon's next meal as a result."Thank you, Tai-chan."Evelyn said gratefully to Tai, quickly bowing her head before she decided to go join the other Digidestined and their Digimon Partners knowing that they could some help right looked at the cards again and he was sweating a lot for good reason considering he could accidentally his friends into a horrible world where everything was very messed up there or worse they could end up dying but Tai also knew that they had to take the chance otherwise they'd never get home he was also still very nervous."If I chose wrong,we're , this is a seriously bad time to start freaking out Tai."Tai said nervously,while trying to keep his composure as he could given the seriousness of their current situation as he carefully yet also frantically searched the sixteen cards(although Evelyn suspected that number was closer or a bit above twenty in terms of the number of cards Gennai gave them and that someone had secretly hidden them in their personal backpack but as usual she wasn't 100% sure)that Gennai given them before they left his house only a day earlier in order to be able to use the magical stonelike table-looking gate in Myotismon's castle so that they could get back to Earth to locate the eighth Digidestined and save that chosen kid from the vile vampirelike Myotismon's evil clutches before he could try to kill the kid first but before they had left his house Gennai he also had given Tai and the other Digidestined a new assignment which included what looked like another Digidestined's digivice,tag,crest and a young,inexperienced In-Training level Digimon named Motanekiamon who looked like a legless tan-colored rabbit/cat head with some very small faintly two tortoiseshell spots on her ears and a long semi-cat,semi-rabbit looking tail with white patches on her face(including her muzzle) and she had darker brown coloring at the end of her ears with some lightly pronounced tufts that her fluffier than she really she was quite nervously hopping up and down like Tai's own personal Digimon Partner Mormon was as doing well since he was equally nervous,anxious and afraid as she was but considering that Motanekiamon was younger than Koromon and the fact he had far more experience than she did in terms of practical battle experience ,had been in combat alot before he was stuck in his In-Training form for the time being and he knew how to fight in a battle as well whereas Motanekiamon had no such experiences at all that similar situations to the current problem in the present time so Motanekiamon had the basic digimon instincts on how to hunt and survive but her combat knowledge was well nonexistent so this helped explain why Koromon was somewhat calmer she was right now since Koromon was a good bit less timid,skittish,jumpy and hyperactive than Motanekiamon was right now although to be fair she had every right to be afraid, skittish, jumpy,nervous and hyperactive given the current situation going right now."What's taking so long,Tai? Normally I can be quite patient but now isn't the time for patience and overprudence!"Ofira bluntly said to their leader,her normal somewhat ladylike demeanor and mannerisms dropped in favor of a more open approach but Ofira could often alternate between being a complete kid,an overtly mature ''proper'' lady and a foul-mouthed girl who could make a thief or con artist want to become good because of her unusually foul language for such a young seemingly polite semi-tall lady "I'll make a decision soon,okay!?,"Tai snapped at her,which made Ofira back off and retreat into a corner."O-o-okay Tai,I-I just want to get out of here that is all."Ofira stammered meekly,her pale violet eyes now staring at T.K.'s feet for some odd reason and then she became completely quiet after glanced at Mimi and Joe who were holding their Digimon Partners Palmon and Gomamon(they reverted to their rookie forms after Weregarurumon freed them from Doukougoumon's poison thread web attack when they were Togemon and Ikkakumon) in their arms respectively ,both of them looking very afraid and with good reason-Doukougoumon was a nasty,evil arachnid-looking Digimon with a bad temper and powers that could easily scared a strange rabbitlike or least mammal-looking non-Digimon monster that Tai kept seeing in his dreams that he told the other Digidestined about of course into a submission so intense that it'd very likely run away in true terror and never want to battle any evil creature ever again-at least that's Tai only could guess that strange non-Digimon monster would do since he never really met it(the rabbitlike monster)in person or saw it in the flesh in his waking hours to know for sure,he guessed that only non-Digimon rabbitlike monster might not have the capability to be brave enough in this situation and be able to deal with the current problem/situation Tai his friends faced right now,the rabbitlike monster Tai it might well freak out and faint from a completely new challenge -he also stuck to the gender-neutral term of ''it'' for the rabbitlike monster since he didn't its actual gender at all right now (Which wasn't too surprising - but what the was rabbitlike monster a he or a she? Tai could never really tell since whenever he did see that rabbitlike monster most of the time it was too dark to make out any features that would help define the monster's gender more clearly but that had never happened in his dreams with the rabbitlike monster at any time and so all he knew for certain about the non-Digital monster/non-Digimon rabbitlike monster was that it was a rabbit of some sort.)''''ARRRGH! DAMN THAT STUPID RABBITLIKE MONSTER WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO IN THIS DAMN SITUATION PROBABLY ANYMORE THAN I DO RIGHT NOW AND TO BE COMPLETELY DAMN HONEST I DON'T WHAT I'M REALLY GOING TO BE DOING WITH THESE DAMN CARDS DESPITE SUPPOSEDLY I THINK I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING ABOUT TO MY FRIENDS EITHER ,HUH RABBIT MONSTER?''''Tai irritatedly thought to himself in private, wondering if the rabbitlike monster that appeared in his dreams on a nightly basis would answer him right now since Tai at least knew that the rabbitlike monster he saw in his dreams wasn't imaginary,fake or a sign of illness -no quite it was really the opposite of insanity like some of his friends had suggested or joked about when he first told them about the dreams he had about the rabbitlike non-Digimon monster which was on the day after Matt's Digimon first digivolved into his champion form Garurumon and beat a wild Seadramon in order to save his Partner's life,no it often seemed more like that the rabbitlike monster had to be a hero or good monster of some sort since it very often displayed or showed great empathy, sympathy,prudence, patience, compassion, experience, tolerance,gentleness,warmth and intelligence like it clearly understood the great responsibility that Tai and his friends/fellow Digidestined had placed on all of their shoulders as it were going something very similar to what the Digidestined were going through right now but along with these good qualities it also seemed that the rabbitlike monster also had a knack for being somewhat annoying,moody, very reserved,overconfident,arrogant, extremely childish/immature,greedy,selfish(on a far lesser extent than Mimi in some ways though),self-absorbed(very easily so at times) and sometimes flat-out ditzier than Mimi herself could be prone to at times but despite those flaws Tai had the distinct,fairly certain(although he wasn't 100% certain due to never really be able to the rabbitlike monster in person.)impression that the rabbitlike non-Digimon monster definitely had to it its vaguely defined personality {How of much the personality was real or not Tai didn't know right despite that the fact it's personality was to hard tell right now to the point where Tai could barely properly define for some odd, strange reason to which he didn't have a clear answer to but still he often sensed a real personality within the non-Digital/non-Digimon rabbitlike monster despite Matt and most of the other Digidestined's skepticism of the rabbitlike monster's occasional help or gentle persuasion that it had willingly given to Tai the other Digidestined in tight spots before and the prudent yet nurturing advice that the rabbitlike monster gave him other Digidestined on a very frequent basis was often very good,same and practical for the most part (there had been some ideas or suggestions that fell under the category of ''''duds'''' unquestionably but it wasn't too common of an occurrence thankfully.)so that way Tai the other Digidestined could always use those tips ,hints or ideas the rabbitlike monster for another time,situatio ,problem or battle if he other Digidestined had to use ideas,hints or tips again but so far they hadn't needed to do that up untill now and there was a first time for everything right?}that it was a genuinely good non-digital/non-Digimon monster who wasn't a villain and it held no ill wishes ,secret desire to kill the kids or any other evil intentions hidden inside its heart-it was quite clear to Tai that the non-Digital/non-Digimon rabbitlike monster that Tai kept dreaming about and always saw in his dreams had a true heart of gold despite its seemingly arrogant,tough outer mannerisms. And he was still struggling with the decision of which card he should use to open the gate that could take them back to Earth or somewhere else...Matt, the loner of the group could easily see that their leader hesitating with the heavy decision and burden of deciding which card was the right card that would potentially take all of the Digidestined back to Earth or someplace else knowing that the choosing the wrong one(card) could spell major problems and complications later on if he got it wrong but he also knew that if he didn't intervene or say something to encourage their leader that it would soon be too late if they were to go anywhere that gate."Tai,you gotta make your mind now,we're out of time."Matt said gently but firmly , his blue eyes keeping firm eye contact even though they were currently in a pretty bad situation and the other Digidestined were all scared of the evil Digimon that they were currently fighting against along with the definite possibility of never getting to go back home where they could feel safe again and see their parents as well...While Matt was talking to Tai,Evelyn,Mimi and Joe along with all of the other Digidestined looked up to Tai pleadingly,all of them still holding their respective Digimon Partners who were out of energy to fight or digivolve in their arms carefully so they didn't drop them."Tai,please decide now."Joe said pleadingly,looking more scared and timid than he usually did which was saying alot since Joe was definitely a scared cat and a definite hypodranic but given the Digital world/Digiworld was like that was pretty understandable."Come on!"Mimi said fairly childishly, still managing to sound like the spoiled brat she had always been, started out as in the beginning of their journey and probably would always be even when she would be an adult."Tai just pick one card!" Evelyn said loudly,staring down at her feet but looking a little bit annoyed from glanced at the cards quickly and finally the card that he thought was the right choice so he put it down on the gate. "You're the one,Gabumon,open the gate!Yeah!"Tai said loudly,throwing the card he picked down on the stone tablet gate's only remaining empty slot filling it just with his choice of ,Janet,Cosette(Janet's younger twin sister),Ofira,Bertilde, Nini(We'll find out more about her later but I won't spoil anything right now...),Astrid(Not the Astrid from the How-to-train-your-dragon franchise, this is a completely different and separate character from that pletely different,dude.),Gabriella(Gabriella is her real name but she hates it.''Gabby'' is her preferred nickname and she hates her real name for some pretty good reasons but that'll addressed and explained why later.),Lilybelle(A southern Belle who isn't as dopey as she looks and has Hare's hoarding habits along with a tendency to be dishonest at times but that's I'm all saying about her at this time..),Harley,Tana, Flossi,Garbo, Quinn and their respective Digimon Partners all looked up or in the direction to where their leader had just put down the final card needed to activate the gate and hopefully the gate would send them back to Earth if they were lucky enough if not who knows (only Tana,Garbo Quinn seemed to have strong hunches on what could happen if they drew the wrong card but they hadn't vocalized their opinions as so not worry or stress out the other Digidestined even more than they were already and it would only cause more arguments so they kept quiet...)what kind of world they could end up in...Later on,they would all find out just kind of world they ended landing in by sheer accident, coincidence,destiny and a healthy dose of good luck blended in with some bad luck thrown in for drama and some laughs...But I won't say much beyond that for end and spoil it for everyone, still it'll a long,long ride for our young chosen heroes who have Digital Monsters for friends, protectors and pets all rolled into ,Gabby and Astrid all saw the gate along with Sora noticing it as well."Whoa!Looks like we'll have a functioning gate now!"Gabby exclaimed happily,her brilliant amethyst purple eyes sparkling with delight as she watched the gate open up giggling a little bit."Hmm-mmmm,this is great -it is really is that you know? It's a great feeling to see that gate open just now.I agree with you on that Gabs."Bertilde said sweetly, with no hint of sarcasm or annoyance in her voice at Gabriella/Gabby,which only surprised all the other Digidestined a fair good bit since they didn't argue a lot but still their arguments had to a tendency to be explosive when they did happen... Sora who was like the group's big sister and mother figure even she was otherwise basically a tomboy saw the gate opening up and smiled in obvious relief since that gate would take them back home when they entered it or at least that's what they were hoping would happen..."It's opening!"Sora said simply,her eyes with happinesses,relief and hope...Evelyn noticed that T.K. one of the younger kids had seen it open and he just nodded happily before he spoke."It worked!"the younger golden blonde boy said enthusiastically ,grinning wide as he saw the gate that would hopefully take them back to Earth...Tai was happy too but he also looked more nervous for some reason and then the nervousness abruptly left him as he started to speak..."Come on!Yeah!"Tai yelled to everyone in the vicinity including the only battling Ultimate level Digimon on their side -Weregarurumon who blinked in surprise for a brief second while he was still trying to hold off Doukougoumon and gave him a hard kick in the shins(if you know where a spider's shins are located that is)which made the spiderlike Digimon yelled out in pain for a second."Of,!"he yelled quietly but the next blow Weregarurumon hit him with was much harder and he couldn't the pain this time as well."Aaah!"The spiderlike Digimon yelled in pain,reeling hard from the two blows Weregarurumon had just hit him with but the spiderlike Digimon was still determined to his duty to his lord Myotismon in spite of the tremendous physical pain he was in and despite the clearly obvious fact that he was losing this battle as well he continued to fight Weregarurumon regardless of what happened to him didn't matter to Doukougoumon -he just wanted to obey Myotismon's orders and not fail him but on only former reason he was succeding at whereas the latter reason?Well he had already failed when Garurumon digivolved into his ultimate form so that couldn't said anymore..."Leave him and come on."Matt called out to his Digimon Partner,knowing that the wolflike Digimon didn't want to get left behind at all and there was the fact that he was still trying to finish off the evil spiderlike Digimon for good."You'll never get out here in one piece."Doukougoumon screamed threateningly at them,wildly charging straight at the Digidestined for another vicious saw him coming towards his human friends and partner and quickly jumped in front of Doukougoumon and prepared to unleash his final attack on to the evil spiderlike Digimon."Wolf Claw!"he yelled loudly, striking Doukougoumon with a powerful claw strike so hard that it likely killed the evil spiderlike Digimon -not that the Digidestined really cared about that little detail since it was definitely a case survival of the fittest and strongest in the Digital world most of the time,plus Doukougoumon being an evil Digimon gave the Digidestined no reason to pity him or spare him whatsoever to then reverted back to his In-Training stage/form of Tsunomon ,who was now being held in Matt's arms carefully so that he didn't lose his partner while they were being transported back to Earth or possibly another world in the process of traveling between worlds."That was close,Tsunomon,but it looks like we made !"Matt told his Digimon Partner, definitely proud of they went through the same process that they had gone through to get the Digiworld/Digital world in the first place- by random tsunami were going home at last and after all this time being stranded in the Digital world!But the truth was the opposite of what most of the Digidestined were thinking where they wanted to be and where they were going really wind up were two completely separate destinations entirely since one unknown villain had manipulated the gate before the Digidestined had even the chance to use it and now that they had well let's just say luck can be a bit of curse for some people whereas for others it's just a tool to be used...But that's not where they'll end up in reality unknownst to the Digidestined (our digital world kid heroes,mind you you very much)Earth was not going to be the place they were about to be transported to but rather a world that looked very similar to both they have Digital world and ancient Earth itself with a whole different set of monsters there,problems and threats that made all of the Digidestined's own problems they faced in the Digital world/Digiworld rather insignificant, dumb,pettyand immature by comparison *EVERY DIGIDESTINED SCREAMS LOUDLY*{Monster Rancher world,in the desert, very early morning at least 1:40a.m. -2:10a.m.}It was a quiet early morning in the monster Rancher world but almost all of the Searchers were completely (almost heavily to be honest)sound asleep except for one very boisterous,energetic,rowdy yet naive and kindhearted fanboy Genki Sakura who was transported into his favorite video game and had made some great friends along the way while he traveled with the other members who made up the Searchers' group in search of the legendary Phoenix monster who could supposedly turn all bad monsters into good monsters again once the evil Moo was defeated -while today it seemed as though his allies and friends were going to be sleeping the day away for once which to be honest was unusual for them but in this case it was definitely necessary since they had just fought a very hard ,tiring battle against another tough baddie the day before ,wearing out all five monsters to the point of truly dangerous exhaustion and afterwards noone except for Genki had the energy or stamina left to talked,play, argue or even go over to the day's events at all which was usually unheard or didn't happen often of in this group of seven but it definitely seemed like yesterday's battle had taken a major yet temporary toll (in terms of how drained they were almost all feeling )on everyone in the group except for Genki and even he felt it a tiny bit though he very stubbornly denied refused it altogether stubbornly insisting that he was completely okay just fine although things got worse when none of his friends believed for once with the highly intituive Hare suspecting something might be wrong with Genki but not vocalizing his thoughts oddly enough which only made Genki annoyed with the Rabbit Monster causing an unspoken yet fairly noticeable rift between the Searchers for a because of that rift,Genki decides to go off for a long walk to blow off some steam even though he's very furious with his friends at the moment and won't even mention any of them by name at all out loud,he still cares about his friends and would gladly risk his life to save theirs if he had just picked up his green backpack and orange rollerblades before he started to walk away from where his friends were camping and completely 100% in a very deep sleep(all of them except for Genki of course for obvious reasons.).*Aah! Hehe!What a beautiful,great day!I'm so happy to be here!I love this world!"Genki Sakura said quite happily,for once not bouncing around even though with he thought was so extra energy that normally mean he'd wake up his friends from their well-earned rest although he certainly felt like he had alot more energy than he normally had or exhibited (which was saying alot since he usually had no shortage of pep and energy on a normal day but today it seemed his energy was truly on a very,very high level for odd reason he couldn't explain yet)-no instead he just got up to his feet quietly and walked further away to what turned out be a very,very good considerable distance away from where the rest of the Searchers were still currently sleeping deeply almost all of them so exhausted,drained and tired(even it was temporary)both from journeying an extremely hard trek in the desert and yesterday's aforementioned battle that none of them not even Hare the rabbit monster who was easily the smartest member of their group even if he could be somewhat of a ditz at times or Tiger of the wind a horned blue-and-white-furred wolf monster who had once been an infamous thief who had also definitely trust issues a dark,tragic past to which the scar on his face easily said that his life had not easy or kind to him that same troubled past of his which Genki noticed had managed to uncover more about as time went on but anyway Genki just noticed that he managed to cover more a full month's worth of travel on foot by himself in a matter of hours which would have taken most other people or monsters a much longer amount of time to reasonably cover trek in the same amount of time that it had taken Genki managed to cover in a much shorter amount of time which was saying alot about his stamina and physical fitness. Soon Genki looked around at his surroundings and chuckled sheepishly,aware now that he no felt like he needed to take his anger out on a Baddie, even he knew it was.{{Huh?The Northern lights?I've never seen them appear in the world of monsters before just now or have seen a tsunami wave come up right after it suddenly like it did just now!}}Suddenly Genki looked up quickly at the sky and very quickly spotted what definitely looked like giant tsunami waves and the Northern lights that frequently occurred on a semi-ordinarily basis in places like Alaska or Greenland where he would expect them to happen but for it to happen here in the world of monsters where he had never seen these occurrences happen here before?Genki instinctively knew or least guessed that something major or majorly important must be wrong and he had the distinct feeling that it wasn't related or connected to the Baddies for some reason he couldn't explain somehow it felt like that tsunami wave or the Northern lights that he just saw with his own eyes was completely devoid of the Baddies for some strange reason even if it meant his friends didn't believe him again for a while(if he got to see them again that is.) at first since they weren't here right now to physically see it for themselves...*Loud screaming from all of the Digidestined,then a loud thud noises*Genki tensed once he heard those noises but he kept up a cheerful attitude as he usually did."Oh no!I hope whoever landed didn't get hurt too badly and there's only one way I'll find out for sure since I'll head over there now because I'm mister energy!"Genki yelled enthuistically but worry evident in his voice as he hastily put on his rollerblades so he could get to the area he saw the people he saw crash -land were alright but at the same time he was also more genuinely worried about the unknown people he just briefly saw crash -land from the oddly out of place tsunami wave and Northern lights but since he was already heading straight towards that area anyway although this time without any of his friends here to guide or help him if he got into trouble...{{Oooh well, I shouldn't be too worried about trouble for now but still if someone's in danger I can't afford to wait for my friends this time...They won't be happy with me for being so reckless...But still even so, I'm going to help in any way that I can even without my friends being there to help me...}}Genki thought a little bit nervously,since he just realized only a minute ago that his friends were still sleeping deeply back where they had camped out in the desert for the night and he had amazingly managed to travel a considerable distance so long from where his friends were still camped out still sleeping for the time being that Genki had correctly suspected that it would take a little bit more than a month or two or so for his friends to catch up with him once they were fully awake,recharged and ready to travel again that they would be quite understandably angry with him for recklessly wandering off on his own and not telling any of them where he went off on his own once they realized that he wasn't at the campsite they were all sleeping at for the night ready to scold him soundly harshly like a naughty, mischievous,troublemaking yet well-intentioned fun-loving little kid who didn't always listen to his parents' orders or sensible advice to stay within their eyesight or where they could easily see him and keep a good,sharp eye on him so he didn't get himself into too much or more trouble than he could handle but then again Genki had always been very independent, confident and very capable of defending himself from the Baddies on his own for the most part so he wasn't too worried about his friends' anger since he knew that they only got angry and also only did scold him because they cared about him, had far more experience in their world than he did and didn't want to see him get hurt, crippled or fatally injured knowing full well that he was still a just kid(an attitude saying that always successfully pisses Nini,his older twin sister off to no end or limit evidently.)in spite of the fact that he was involved in a war Genki got closer to the area on his rollerblades where he saw first spotted in the distance where the oddly out place tsunami waves and Northern lights had come from or at least where they stopped...he saw a rather large group of kids with numbers up to the mid-twenties to mid-thrities and sitting next to at least a few of the kids were what looked like a vast variety of different monsters who could easily have been or probably were their allies or pets who were sprawled out (with a few rare exceptions because of dumb luck alone)over a short distance away from where the unknown,new human kids who had just been transported here whom judging by their clothing Genki instinctively knew that they probably couldn't have come world from the world that he currently inhabited now since their clothes were too modern and looked like the clothes he had seen most people wear back on Earth but the monsters were the real giveaway that confirmed that these kids couldn't have come from the world of Monsters-these monsters,well they had very distinctive appearances and were very easy to tell apart because of that fortunately enough although they also had a more powerful,tough, leaner,bigger,better-muscled and fantasy-looking physical appearances ,accessories(a few of these monsters were wearing accessories of some sort on different parts of their body) and markings that none of the monster species that Genki had encountered,met up or was traveling with (except for now)with the obvious exceptions of Tiger of the wind and Hare had to distinguish themselves from other members of their own monster species and even there as he thought the differences between the monsters that he was currently traveling with and these new monsters he just had met,Genki could easily see that these monsters were potentially more dangerous than the monsters that he was currently still traveling with even they weren't with him at the moment but even there some of these monsters gave off the distinct impression that they probably had a lot of power,stamina,speed,skill,potential , experience and versatility to them that the monsters that Genki still currently traveled with didn't have since while a lot of them looked smaller than any or almost of the monsters Genki still currently traveled with physically he guessed that these new monsters were a lot stronger than they looked at first glance because a lot(if not all of them,to be honest)of them were actually quite very well-muscled,lean,lithe(a few of these monsters fit that adjective and lean without a problem of needing to be corrected.),strong and fit even though some or most of them were a good bit smaller than Tiger or Hare(it went without saying that any of these monsters were smaller than Golem,because they were all almost about three foot in height or else in some of the monsters' case a little bit over[by a few inches but still it counted] three foot tall but were still within that height range in general)put together and they also looked much younger than they did with the sole exception of Mocchi who was the youngest monster in the Searcher's group by far...But still even as he got closer to the ragtag group of kids and their non-monster rancher world monster allies/partners(right now he didn't which term was more accurate,so he would flip between the two words until the kids their monster allies woke up and could tell him which word was more accurate themselves.),Genki strongly suspected that these strange non-monster rancher world Monsters were probably far more powerful,versatile and skilled in some ways than any of his monster allies/friends he was currently traveling with even Mocchi the monster that he created himself (although he met Suezo first), Suezo who was a real fiery sassy monster but not a great fighter for the most part,Tiger who joined up with the Searchers after he'd been badly injured by an arrogant Dino captain who worked for Moo the evil monster who was a permanent source of permanent grief,agony,pain,fear,hatred and everything bad in this world he lived in for now for all of the monster and human inhabitants of this world alike and Hare who had cheated in a tournament Tiger and he had fought in but his greed got him caught more easily and after Tiger made him pay the hotel the money for the big bill for staying at the hotel with for the night after Tiger came in second place in the tournament which caused resentment from the horned wolf monster but now they got along somewhat better than they did before although Hare wasn't among one of the Searchers' better fighters regardless of he said otherwise. Genki genuinely hoped that these new kids who had just arrived into the monster Rancher world could hopefully become new friends of his the other Searchers as well but he needed to stay focused on the present...ooh wait a minute that dark brown-haired girl with the shoulder length hair in a plain ponytail sitting next to what looked like a cat/rabbit hybrid looking monster that had very similar fur coloring slightly obvious physical resemblance to Hare except for the fact that she was a good bit taller than Hare was and she had a few patches on fur coat that made her look more like a tortoiseshell cat with a rabbit or hare's long ears which weren't thin or narrow-looking as Hare's own ears were(they were more triangular like a cat's ears were)but they were also equally long as Hare's own ears were and had a slightly scruffier look to them that Hare's ears didn't have at all,a long thick-furred(medium length not long however)catlike tail that also had some rabbitlike features to it but it was much more scruffy-looking(like her ears)than Hare's fairly small stump of a tail tended to look like even on his really bad days -also unlike with Hare's tail the cat/rabbit hybrid monster's tail had a somewhat noticeable tuft of brown fur at the end of her tail whereas Hare didn't have a tuftlike feature at the end of his tail that looked like that at all,her muzzle was white like Hare's was but it was a bit longer than Hare's own muzzle was but in spite of that fact it was also not doglike or wolflike in any way like Tiger's own muzzle at all,her legs were longer than Hare's but still shorter than Tiger's with two very small somewhat spotlike patches on them,a white sunlike patch in the middle of her back and her face was a bit bigger and wider than Hare's was with tiny white specks on her cheeks -physically her face definitely had some rabbitlike features to it in the strange monster's face but there was also catlike qualities mixed in this strange monster's face as well and the brunette girl who sat very close to her Genki finally recognized those eyes while hazel had a grayish tint to them that he would easily recongize that he was able to identify her by her hair coloring color anywhere or any world where more precisely -the girl was well, it was none other than his older twin sister Nini!{H-how in the heck did she not miss my presence back on Earth!?She's as sharp as Hare and wise as Tiger!}Genki thought in confusion,turning his attention back to his older twin sister and her strange cat/rabbit hybrid monster immediately deciding to let it slide for a little bit until in the living hell was Nini doing here(even he knew the answer,he wanted to hear her answer in person)and how on Earth or the Monster Rancher world did she acquire that cat/rabbit who was almost identical to Hare and Hare-like cat/rabbit hybrid monster from!?Was the Hare-like cat/rabbit hybrid monster a goodie like himself or the monsters that he had as allies and friends or was the Hare-looking cat/rabbit hybrid monster a baddie like one of Moo's evil monster minions were!? And more to do the point how in the hell did Nini manage to avoid not getting seriously injured,crippled from the dangerous fall he just seen only a few minutes ago-was she lucky or did someone or something else help out his older twin sister!?Would his Monster Rancher world friends even bother to search for him once they were awake due to the rift had developed between them and the big quarrel they had with him yesterday night!? Would they forgive him for running off on his own like an impulsive, defiant child without any of them told where he was going,consulted or asked about coming along with him to make sure he stayed safe!?Would the Baddies attack him when he was most vulnerable and almost without defenses of his own!? To be continued in chapter one.[Me:{{{{Narrating,then whistles softly}}}}Oooh boy it seems like Genki's sure gotten himself into a bigger mess than he usually manages to get himself into now and this time because of an argument he's alone and currently doesn't have the support system of any his monster rancher world friends this time around to boot!Ooh my,will Genki's reckless, stubborn and childish nature might end up costing him some serious problems big time if he hadn't found out the Digidestined when he did just now and even then I suspect that he'll still inadvertently get into some kind of major problems and obstacles with the his group too!(Not meanesss talking here,just an astute observation about Genki's personality that's all.)Will the Baddies attack him now while Genki's still vulnerable a bit defenseless on his own{{{{even though he's not since he can fight and also he's with the Digidestined now even right now if they're sort of temporarily indisposed(unconscious)for the moment...}}}}or will they wait until later to attack strike Genki and his newfound allies along with their Digimon Partners!?Has Myotismon followed the Digidestined to this whole new different world where there's definitely a whole separate,different set of Monsters who are not Digimon but a while, new, different type/kind of Monster altogether without the ability to digivolve and more importantly how come there are Digimon that are living here for an extremely long time in this world and only the Digidestined (Genki included)seem to be for the time being the only ones able to sen,feel these Digimon's presence existence in the Monster Rancher world?Why is Genki so mad at Nini,his older twin sister?Find out next time on Accidental World Mix-up chapter one. patches)car/rabbit Digimon version of Hare but unlike him,she's mostly seen on all four paws most of the time even though she can stand on her two legs like a human without damaging her body at all,this is just a case of personal preference that's this Digimon has orange/ginger patches on her body instead of the pale cream patches on her body like Genki's new Digimon Partner Morinekimon will story -yes I know it's a prologue chapter as opposed a first chapter but I decided to be bold,daring and have a delibartely lengthy prologue chapter to better explain the changed circumstances of how there are sixteen cards in this story and why for the next few chapters the other six members of the Searcher's group are temporarily demoted or not present in these chapters but also the card gate will become very revelant again in later chapters (Actually there are about twenty-four cards altogether but both Lilybelle,Cosette and Gabby have a bad hoarding habit that's almost identical to Monster Rancher's Hare in this regard except that they're far less...careful,smart,well-prepared, practical about it and almost always try to hide the stuff they've '''acquired''/'''picked up''' in their backpacks (they each have two backpacks to be clear)in very obvious places despite them arrogantly thinking that they've very careful in their chosen hiding areas (not really,little ladies!)but when they're inevitably caught or inadvertently blurt out something they shouldn't have which always happens to them inevitably they always get a major lecture because their need to hoard or hold back critical information from their friends and they're always very appropriately embarrassed after said lecture happens to them!*Laughs at her OCS for their stupidity, arrogance and naivety,then heaves a resigned yet disgusted sigh as she knows that they'll continue to do their immature antics regardless of the consequences they caused to anybody unless it directly involves or affects their friends and even then they'll only stop doing their harmful antics temporarily for about 4-to-8 days at the most then they go back to their bad habits very quickly but don't worry I intend to give them character development later on*Also parts of Lilybelle's personality are fairly loosely based on Hare's original personality from when he was first introduced in his debut episode{{Monster Rancher Episode six "Hare's trick" where he almost successfully manipulates and cons the Searchers out of some prize money that they'd won fairly a tournament with Tiger as his opponent but he cheated via sucker punch in order to win the prize money for himself and his greed gets the better of him...He does join up with the Searchers at the end of the episode but Tiger isn't too thrilled to have the rabbit monster in their group due to him losing to Hare in the aforementioned tournament and have to put up with his incredibly childish antics either but I think that Hare's had a massive crush on Tiger otherwise he wouldn't have reacted with such intense, passionate anger the way he did to Lilim showing Searchers what looks like Tiger's disk(Spoiler alert:It ain't his disk at all...)in "Tiger meets his match" where they all thought he was dead for awhile and you also have the important fact that Fairy Hare was a very late last-season flat character who was introduced as a completely non-credible love interest (if that) for Hare but thankfully she and Hare are just close friends although she's very obscure compared to the rest of the Monster Rancher anime [Heck the fact that Hare's so calmly pissed at Genki for suggesting that Fairy Hare and he are a couple really says to me that he's a gay(of the feminine variety,not masculine variety thank you very much)and probably has about 0% non-platonic interest in any female monster or human despite the fact that he attempted to kiss Holly in her birthday episode one time but even there that feels far more platonic than romantic since he's expressed essentially zero romantic or sexual interest in her otherwise(now granted Hare does respect Holly as a good friend but that's about it)which says a lot about his sexual orientation considering that Suezo clearly shows the most obvious romantic or sexual interest in Holly without it being written into the dub or the original Japanese versions of the anime in Japan...]((_~))but not enough so to come across that Lilybelle doesn't have any distinguishing personality traits which she does have;you just have to be willing to dog deeper beneath the surface of Lilybelle's charade that she puts on to find those personality traits that allow Lilybelle to stand out in the crowd of otherwise normal girls who happen to be part of the Digidestined !To be
