I own nothing!

A Gundam Wing Short Story

"Zechs Marquise." Lucretzia Noin reminded him that she was still there with him. When he didn't move, she decided to get his attention, "Miliardo Peacecraft!" He looked at her slowly, as if jolted out of deep thought.

"I'm worried about her." He said, sighing. "I don't know what to do."

Noin smiled. She knew that he was trying his best to take care of Relena, his little sister, as well as he could without ever showing his face to her again. Although they both knew that she would forgive him if he asked, he thought that it was far too much to ask her to do.

"Then why don't you go visit her?" She offered. They both knew that he would never do that, but she had to keep asking. Suddenly his eyes lit up, as if he had just had the perfect insight.

"I'll find Hiiro Yui. They were close during the war. He should be able to comfort her." He stood and started to leave, but Noin grabbed onto his sleeve.

"Are you sure that is a good idea? We don't even know where he is."

"WE may not know where he is, but I do." He said, kissing her on the top of the head before he left the house. If anyone could comfort his sister, that man could do it. He was sure.

"So, Hiiro. That is the situation. Can you help her?" Zechs asked Hiiro. He had spent two hours just finding the right room in the apartment building that Hiiro lived in. He couldn't believe that anyone could live in such a terrible place. The whole building was falling apart and looked like it should be condemned by the Board Of Health any second. However, they both knew that Hiiro had rich friends who could do things for him. Namely, Quatre Raberba Winner.

"This is not my problem. I will visit with her." Hiiro stood, "But only after you deal with this situation."

"Don't you see? I can't." Zechs said. He was trying to control himself from either lashing out at the boy or breaking down and crying. He couldn't tell which it was.

"Can't, Marquise, or won't?" Hiiro glared at the man as he opened a soda can and poured half of it down his throat. There was a tenseness in the air as the men silently challenged one another. The stronger spirit won.

"Very well, boy. Just be sure that you show up in time." Zechs glared at him as he stood and left the room.

"You can bet I will be." Hiiro said coldly, watching the man leave. Then he picked up the phone and punched in the numbers, "Hello, is this…?"

Miliardo had waited in her house for nearly an hour and a half before she showed up. She was so beautiful. Just as the Former Queen of Earth should be. He sat in the dark and waited. It was a gloomy night, raining and thundering. He wondered if the weather control on the colony was messed up, raining on tonight, of all nights.

He heard the others arriving quietly as they all waited for her to show up. Then Relena came into the room. And turned on the light.

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
