"And you're sure she's fine with this?" Brendan asked.

"Yeah she followed me back to shore." Ash said. "And didn't argue about the Pokeball."

"Never ridden on a Lapras before,is it hard?" Wally asked.

"Easier than swimming." Ash commented.

"Alright boys, next closest island is Two Island, if you want to stand a chance next time you run into Team Rocket, meet with Ultima, she may be able to help you learn a move or two." Bill said, handing Ash the Pokegear back. "Coordinates are already input, just follow them there, we'll let the Pokemon Center know you're on the way."

"And I've already contacted Lance, he's got the Pokemon League on high alert, along with the last champion going to the tree of life." Celio said.

"Calling in a former champion? Is that a good idea?" Wally asked.

"Lance has seen the power of the red and blue orbs first hand, if Team Rocket figures out how to harness them, it could cause disaster." Brendan reminded.

"Plus the former champion is the only single trainer to date to have taken out all three of Lance's Dragonite in one battle." Celio commented. "Apparently the guys been living as a nomad for around ten years."

"Okay guys, we should get going, it's not wise to stay in one spot for long." Ash said, grabbing his bag.

"Best of luck, you three." Bill said.

On the open water between One and Two island

"So what do you think Ultima can teach us?" Wally asked.

"I have no idea, there are so many moves in the world it could be any one of them." Brendan said. "Ash, what do you think?"

"Do you think its really gone?" Ash asked, not having paid attention.

"Do we think what's really gone?" Wally asked.

"The Primal Force. I mean I was in pain when the red orb was near, maybe it's connected." Ash said. "Maybe it isn't gone, just weak."

"Ash, that is one event linked to one other event, that's correlation not causation. Plus we were on top of a volcano, you likely got lightheaded from the smoke and climbing." Brendan pointed out. "Look, you've been using your powers with no pain or problems ever since, and even your sight returned, you're just overthinking things."

"I guess you're right." Ash sighed. "It's just that I'm so stressed about everything that's been happening, and with Diane teaming up with them. How can we beat them?"

"Ash, just breathe, we've beaten them once before, and we can do it again." Brendan said. "But panicking right now will do us no good, we're literally in the middle of the ocean."

"Actually we're about three quarters of the way there." Wally said, looking at the Pokegear. "Or three quarters of the way still left to go? Why doesn't your guy's digital maps have markers for where you're going?" Wally asked.

"It does, you just need to use the arrow keys." Ash groaned.

"Kanto technology is weird." Wally commented.

"Technically it's Johto tech, we still use old school maps." Ash said.

"WHY?!" Brendan groaned in agony.

"We're a rural region, we don't get many new major roads." Ash said. "Its not like Hoenn where there's a huge bustling city at every corner."

"Gah! This is agonizing! Can't we get there any faster?!" Brendan said. "I need modern technology!"

"Hit my Lapras again and you can use Marshtomp to get the rest of the way to the island." Ash said angrily.

A few hours later at Two Island

"Okay, the locals said Ultima lives at the top of the hill." Ash said. "Let's stop by there and see if she's really all that Bill said she is."

"He literally only said, she could teach us a move or two." Wally reminded.

"I could use a new move." Brendan said. "Something to shake up the next frontier brain battle, and maybe Team Rocket too. So let's go get our learning on."

At the top of the hill

"There is nothing I can teach you." Ultima said.

"No, we were told you could teach us moves!" Brendan argued. "We came all the way here, you have to teach us!"

"Boy, you would do well not to argue with me." Ultima said. "But there is nothing I can do, none of you are ready to learn my moves."

"How do you even know that, you don't even know what we have with us!" Wally argued.

"Kirlia, Flygon, Cacturne." Ultima said, pointing to the right side of Wally. "Farfetch'd, empty, empty." Ultima said, pointing on his right. "Marshtomp, Shiftry, and Aggron. Then Rhyperior and Hitmonlee." Ultima said, pointing at each of Brendan's Pokeball. "And don't bother switching your Pokeballs around child." Ultima said, not even looking at Ash who was in the middle of switching two. "Your right Pocket holds older and used Pokeballs, I'd have to guess Grovyle and Quilava. "Your left Pocket holds much shinier Pokeballs, so Lapras, Swablu, and Sneasel, and while you'll try to deny it, there is a Pokeball in your bag collecting dust as it is supposed to hold that Pikachu."

"OKay, that is good." Ash said. "Look, we need your help, there are bad people after us, and we need to be able to defend ourselves."

"I'm sorry, I really wish I could help, but simply put, Grovyle, Quilava, and Marshtomp need to be stronger if they want my training." Ultima said. "If you can get them to a stronger point, then I can help."

"So you can help!" Brendan said excitedly.

"Look whos finally listening." Ultima said. "Yes, if you can get that Marshtomp to match the power of the rest of your team, I can make it's water type attacks as strong as Kyogre's itself."

"That is powerful." Brendan said. "But how do I get Marshtomp to have the same power, all of my Pokemon have different strengths and weaknesses."

"If I told you, you wouldn't learn." Ultima said. "There isn't much in the way of training spots here, but if you are determined, I hold a class every morning by the lake. You are welcome to stop by for it tomorrow."

"Then that's our plan! We come here and get training and become super powerful.

"Maybe, if we can figure out how to power up our Pokemon that is." Ash said.

"Don't count me out, just because my Pokemon can't learn any of these special moves doesn't mean I don't want to participate." Wally said.

"That's what I like to see, true comradery." Ultima said with a smile.
