Qrow had seen more than enough. Flying down to the ground in an alleyway and transforming back into his human form. He rubbed his eyes hoping that the sight he had just seen would leave his memory very soon.

The moment he slunk back against the wall and grabbed for his flask, his wrist watch suddenly started beeping. Groaning in annoyance he put the flash back and pushed the button at the top.

"Ah Qrow my man! Glad you're responding," a jovial voice responded over the watch "how is the mission. Found any juicy details."

The mention of that almost made Qrow gag as he realized what he had just seen "yeah…you could say that…" Qrow stammered out.

"Wonderful! Tell me about it!" the voice said enthusiastically.

"I would rather not boss…any reason for you to call so suddenly?"

"Oh yeah that. I need you and Megumi to return to HQ immediately, we have quite a bit to discuss. Consider your mission here over! Where is he actually?"

"Well…he's on a date" Qrow answered.

For a moment there was a complete silence until a sudden "I want details when you get here! See you soon! The boss over and out!"

The watch stopped beeping and Qrow slumped against the wall grabbing his flask and taking a good long sip. If he had known how demanding this job would be he would've thought twice about accepting it. But when "the Boss" came with the whole protecting the Multiverse and unlimited booze deal. Well that sold him.

Silently Qrow moved out of the alleyway and returned to the front door of the Devil Hunters HQ where he waited for Megumi to return. He waited for a good ten minutes and half his flask was already empty in a faint attempt to rid the images of earlier out of his head.

"Already drinking Qrow, normally you start an hour later" a sardonic voice suddenly said. Qrow turned to see Megumi and Power walking side by side up to him.

"Ah good to see you kiddos, hope your date was fun," Qrow pointed out with a chuckle before taking another sip of his drink "but sadly you have to cancel future plans. Megumi we're getting called back, we have to leave."

Qrow never imagined he could see Megumi's stoic face falter but here it did. The look on his face almost seemed like he was…disappointed.

"Oh…well then let's go…" Megumi voiced up trying hard to mask his disappointment.

"You alright Megumi?" Qrow asked curiously.

Suddenly Power lunged forward and pulled Megumi by the arm "YOU CAN'T LEAVE YET! YOU CAN'T!"

Qrow scratched his head in confusion "can you tell me what's going on?"

"I told her everything" Megumi replied.

"YOU DID WHAT?"

Yelling ensued between the three of them with Power still desperately pulling Megumi towards her and Qrow trying to get in between the two. Finally managing to make the Blood Fiend let go of his working partner.

"Okay enough of this! You!" Qrow said pointing to Megumi "what where you thinking telling her about us and our mission and you!" he pointed at Power "what did he tell you and what is going on here!"

"He told me everything. What you came here to do, about who you work for which by the way your organization's name is stupid!"

"THANK YOU!" Qrow yelled in satisfaction "I keep telling the boss that and…hey we weren't talking about that! What happened between you two!"

"We made a contract" Megumi said stepping forward.

"A contract!? She's a Fiend she can't make contracts!" Qrow replied.

"It's a symbolic one you drunk moron! Yeah I can smell the alcohol on you" Power snapped angrily "Megumi promised me that he would bring me with him. That he would return for me and take me away from this place!"

Qrow eyed Megumi with annoyed eyes, sighing deeply and groaning in clear frustration. "Okay lover boy you have a lot to explain once we get to HQ" he said pointing the finger at Megumi and then turning around to face Power.

"Look lady, contract or no contract. We can't just take you with us, that would raise a whole lot alerts on all sides and we can't risk your boys finding out! Look I will try to talk to our boss to arrange something, but you have to stay here, you can't come with us…"

Power's lip was quivering with fear "please can't you make an exception. I can be off help to you! Just please take me away from here, away from her! She's got everyone under her thrall."

"Yeah I know!" Qrow replied rather abruptly "but still we can't risk it. You have to stay here. Megumi I'll give you five minutes to say your goodbyes and then we are leaving."

Qrow began walking away from the pair, leaving the Jujutsu sorcerer and the Blood Fiend alone. Power immediately ran and embraced Megumi, almost sobbing.

"Please Megumi…you promised."

Megumi wrapped his hands around Power and held her close "I know…and I will try my best to get you out of here as soon as possible. I promise I will come back for you."

Out of his pocket Megumi produced another watch and offered it to Power "this can be used to reach me in a time of need. But only in a time of need so if that happens press it and I will come for you immediately. Just keep yourself safe until then."

The pair looked at each other in silence for a while before moving in closer for a kiss. A quick yet passionate kiss that made them both feel warm and wanted. Power dug her nails into Megumi's arms as she deepened the kiss, wanting to feel him just a bit longer.

"Time's up kids…" the voice of Qrow echoed as he suddenly appeared behind them. Power and Megumi disconnected as they looked at each other. Qrow moved his hands to his watch and gestured for Megumi to do the same.

With one last look at Power, Megumi and Qrow pushed the button on top of the watch simultaneously, as a bright light enveloped them. Power watched their forms disappear as Megumi spoke one last time.

"I'll come back for you…"

And with that they where gone. And Power was left alone on the steps of the Devil Hunters HQ. She dropped to her knees, sobbing into her hands as she felt a sudden hole in her heart. Like something was missing. She didn't care if people saw her crying right then and there…her momentary happiness was there and as soon as she had it, she had lost it again.

"Come back…please come back…" she whimpered with tears streaming down her face.

A/N: So there we have it, I will only write one more epilogue and then conclude the story. For the sequel to this I'm thinking a more Power/Megumi based story with a considerable time jump in between them, if anyone has fun title ideas for the sequel please let me know, I tend to use song names for titles so maybe that theme will continue. Anyways hope you enjoyed this chapter, the story is almost at an end but I hope the sequel will drum up some excitement for everyone.
