Chapter two:

Part three: Truth (Finally) uncovered

The force swirled around then as Anakin took Obi Wan's hand...

Suddenly, Anakins vision cleared. he was in a forest... and there was his son, Luke. Anakin looked down to see Yoda, and to his left, Obi Wan...

he smiled at his son, waving.

"I want to to to you about somthing." Whispered Obi Wan, offering up his hand once again

Anakin once again took Obi Wan's hand, and they left...

they returned to the void... (Anakin didn't know what else to call it.)

"What is it?" Anakin asked. Obi Wan looked troubled.

"I... It's... He..." Obi Wan seemed lost.

"Tell me." Anakins voice echoed around them.

"How did it happen?"

"how did what happen?"

"how did you fall? I... Wasn't there..."

Anakin didn't like this question. Obi Wan had a right to know but...

Obi Wan opened his mouth as Anakin spoke.

"He lied to me." he said softly. "he said he could save her but- he lied to me."

Obi Wans eyes widened.

Anakin sighed. "After he... died... I realized just how much he manipulated me... see, I never had a stong bond with him... or, I didn't think I did." Anakins fists clenched. "He used me!" Anakin yelled. Anakins eyes filled with tears, and he slowly sunk to his knees. "He used me like Watto... Gardulla... I hate him!" Anakin was shaking, emotions running wild.

"I'm so sorry." Obi Wan Said softly. "I should've noticed."

"At first, I was somthing I told him... things like, "I don't know what I'd do without Padme" and "I she ever died... I'd fall vefore that would happen" They were... True, but just used as expressions."

Anakin sighed, running hand though his hair, "Durring the day, brefore the dreams started, I noticed I had a bond with Palpatine, one much like the one I had with Padme..."

Anakin chuckled bitterly, "Padme was pregnant with the twins- her bond I understood... I began to wonder if maybe Palpatine was force sensitive. maybe he was just dim, or somthing."

Anakin placed a palm over his eyes, rubbing them, "If only I wasn't so stupid and arrogant. I would've noticed then, but no." Anakin looked up, tears in his eyes, "Then every night, I had to watch her die. and it was the same. exactly like when my mother died, and it was destroying me."

Abakin looked down guiltily, "I almost went to you many times... I really should've." Anakin looked back up, "But no, I was a dumb, stupid, youngling."

Anakin shook, tear trailing down now (Obi Wan didn't know you could cry as a force ghost.) "It made me irritable, sleep deprived, and on-edge."

"Up in that tower- with Mace- I couldn't do it anymore. I just couldn't. something... snapped."

Obi Wan held Anakin as he cried for who-cares-how-long.

Part four: Guilt trip

As a force ghost, you didn't need water, didn't need to eat, but you had to sleep.

Whoever made that dumb rule...

So eventually, Anakin and Obi Wan reached a point where they had to go into a meditative sleep...

Obi Wan watched and felt Anakin "sleep" worried. As of fright now, Anakin was mumbling somthing about, "Not doing it again." And "Don't make him relive it"

Suddenly, Anakin screamed and his eyes shot open.

Anakins breaths were shakes and uneven, and he was slowly scooting away from Obi Wan, eyes wide and fearful.

"Anakin, it alright, you are safe."

Anakinn took a moment to look around, confused, and then, slowly, his breaths evened.

Anakin was trembling, to the point that he was praticaly vibrating.

"What was it about?" Asked Obi Wan gently.

Anakin shook his head, "I d-don't think I sh-should say..." he took another few shaky breaths.

"Anakin, please..."

Anakin dropped his head, "I don't mean to... make you feel guilty or anything but... it was about Mustafar..." Anakin said quietly.

Obi Wan seemed to droop. "Oh."
