the one sided mirror, writing thing sporadically on their clipboards. Jean
Gray's hand bound to the two poles with the government's new metallic
Radion 4554 wire. It was designed to stop mutant powers from being used by
attacking the neurons in their brain that triggered the chemical reaction
that enabled them the use of their power. On regular mutants its effects
would be instantaneous. But jean wasn't a normal mutant. Deep inside her
the hungry phoenix was waiting to takeover. A being of limitless power was
breeding inside the mind of this young telekinetic.
The two men were staring at the woman bewildered at her condition. Every other mutant was near exhaustion yet jean still had her power and to the full. The only thing stopping her from getting out was the electron stimulated blind fold they put on her. It was made out of a metallic substance that would redirect a telekinetic's thought distribution process. So her bursts of telekinetic energy weren't directed to anything specific so they weren't as strong as they would be if she could focus on certain object. But none the less the room had taken a beaten and her anger was present just by looking around. "Lets up it to the 8th" the man in the white doctor's coat said. The other man walked over to the control board and pressed a few buttons." The doctor looked over at Jean. "9th!" he said angrily. And he definitely had reason to be angry with every other mutant Radion 4554's Effects had taken place at level 2 and 2.5 for the stronger more resistant ones. What the doctors didn't know was that jean gray's power had been drained at level 2. The power they were witnessing was that of the phoenix. Jean had been drained although it didn't appear to be the case her body was near death it took everything she had to control the phoenix on an everyday basis but now without her power the phoenix's strength was hurting her badly. The phoenix realized that the body and mind of its home was in jeopardy. It hated being controlled but it knew what had to be done. It subsided almost instantaneously. The doctor at the control panel got frantic. "Her heart rate. Her pulse look Dr. Hammond!" he called over "Lower the Radion now!" Dr Hammond screamed "She's Going to Die Get her to the medical lab NOW!" The statistics the doctors were reading 2 minutes earlier weren't that of Jean Gray's but of the phoenix. Now it was obvious that this woman was exhausted both mentally and physically her stats were there to prove it. "I've never seen anything like that" Doctor Hammond said to his assistant.
