The beautiful cry of a new born filled the room. Toya hugged his wife and planted kisses all over her face. Aya hugged her husband and kissed him back. Doctor Kurotsuka held up the baby for the new parents to see. "Congratulations. It's a boy." He set the crying infant on a warm blanket and offered Toya to cut the cord. After he did so, the doctor dried the baby and wrapped him in a blanket. He handed the baby to Aya.
Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is gonna change
"Oh, my god. My beautiful baby… (crying tears of joy). You're finally here." She began kissing her baby and he started calming down. Toya gazed at his child and wife smiling happy.
I closed my eyes, begin to pray
Then tears of joy stream down my face
Aya handed Toya their son. "Hello. I'm your daddy." He placed his index finger in the tiny hand of his baby, which the infant held onto tightly.

Toya gently kissed him on his head. He sat down next to Aya and they examined his features. He had blonde hair with a tint of red, and when he finally opened his eyes, they were a pretty green.

Toya and Aya stared in complete awe. Their child, the thing they had both helped to create, the thing which was a part of both of them, was at last here in their arms. Toya held his son close and thought 'I'm a father.'

A smile appeared on Aya's face as she watched her son and husband together.

Toya thought about everything he and his son would do. He'd spend as much time as he could with him, loving him, playing with him, and showing him how wonderful life can be.

Toya then recalled the life he had lived on Hachijo Island many years ago. He had never been an ordinary man, and he had possessed powers that no human could have. He took everything for granted and because of Kagami, had become a man with a lost and lonely heart. Now that he was with his child and his one true love, he felt he was finally at happiness.

Aya reached for Toya's hand and held it. They smiled at each other and kissed. They didn't know how long Toya would live, and they didn't know what the future would bring. But they knew one thing: nothing would ever be able to destroy this moment. The moment that they were all a family.
