"Come on Dash!" yelled a short, brown-haired girl impatiently. This is Rain, she is one of the most short-tempered eleven-years olds you would ever know. She is tiny compared to her many friends and her soft laughing brown eyes were hidden behind her small purple glasses. Right now though, those eyes shone with irritation.
"Alright, alright! I'm coming!" came a grumpy voice from behind the door. This is Dash, almost the exact opposite of Rain besides her temper. Her hair is brown with natural highlights that come down to right beneath her shoulders. Unlike Rain, Dash is laid-back and has sharp eyes that see almost anything.
"We have to go meet Thunder!" Rain said while flinging the door open and grabbing Dash's arm. Dash yanked her arm away and went back in to the room.
"I'm coming! Let me grab my card and we can scram!" Dash called from the room. ' Ah! There it is!' Dash thought, spying her Clow Card she had on loan from Rain. Dash grabbed it and ran down the stairs. She was closely followed by Rain. With a 'Bye mom' and 'Bye Mrs. Deborah!' they were racing for the park. When they reached the park, they saw their friend playing on the play space. Thunder was their best friend forever and who wouldn't want to be her friend! Thunder has shoulder-length blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Her eyes usually have a questioning or searching look to them and they are always hidden behind her glasses.
"Sorry! Dash was taking FOREVER! Who would think that a girl who doesn't care about how she looks could take so long to get ready!" Rain panted. Thunder giggled in only a way Thunder could.
"Don't worry guys! I just got here too!" Said the blonde. As they talked the park emptied. When Rain noticed this, she pointed it out to her two companions. Then she pulled out their purpose for congregation, their cards. Right when the clock struck seven o' clock, their cards glowed. Rain's glowed blue and spread throughout her body. Dash's glowed red and spread throughout her body and Thunder's glowed yellow and spread through her body. All three closed their eyes. When they opened them, they were in a forest.
"Dash! This is Inuyasha Forest!" Rain said enthusiastically.
"Rain, don't get too carried away." Thunder said logically, " We are probably still in the park."
"Thunder," Dash said quietly, "I think Rain is right."
Suddenly a low growl was heard from the treetops. Almost immediately, weapons were placed in the girl's hands. Dash had a gleaming bow with endless arrows. Thunder had a long sword that was light enough for the girl to hold. It had a lightning bolt-shaped gem in the hilt. Lightning coursed through the blade itself. Rain had a long sword that went down to the ground. It had a tear-shaped gem in her swords hilt. Her sword course with the power of water. They all stood in amazement at the weapons they each held. Soon the source of the growling revealed itself.
