A/N: Well guys... it's come to this. Yes, we have finally made it to what I consider the most iconic part of this entire fic, the big epic finale. And oh boy, this took a lot out of me. I was originally supposed to get this out on Halloween as a big Halloween special, but with how long this was, there was absolutely no way that was gonna happen. But it is exactly a week after Halloween, so... Happy belated, I guess? But anyways, with that said, do expect this fight to be even bigger than in the original, with a lot more heroes and villains, particularly more horror villains and more Arrowverse villains. And now... let the Hell on Earth War commence!
An hour had passed and everyone in the bunker had almost finished gathering up as many allies as they could possibly get. Lucifer had called his partner in crime, Detective Chloe Decker as well as her ex-husband, Daniel Espinoza, and her best friend Ella Lopez. Wally West recruited Caitlin Snow, or rather her alter ego, Killer Frost, and suggested for Harry Wells to call his daughter Jesse from Earth-2 and Jay Garrick from Earth-3, and as well as his sister Iris to call their father Joe. Nica called her old friend, Hellboy and his wife Liz Sherman, while Barry sped around Central City and recruited Clifford Devoe, otherwise known as The Thinker.
Oliver then headed to outskirts of Star City and made a temporary alliance with Ricardo Diaz and Anatoly Knyazev, Ash Williams and Brandy went out to Elk Grove and recruited Ruby Knowby, right after Brandy called their friends Kelly Maxwell and Pablo Simon Bolivar, and John Diggle made a truce with New Team Arrow, consisting of Dinah Drake, Curtis Holt, and Rene Ramirez. Then, Barry and Cisco traveled to Earth-38 and recruited their friends Kara Danvers and J'onn J'onzz, as well as Kara's cousin, Clark Kent, before traveling to Earth-X to recruit Leo Snart and his husband, The Ray. Finally, Quentin Lance with Felicity's help managed to call the Black Siren, or rather the Earth-2 doppelgänger of his late daughter, Laurel Lance, while Felicity herself called in Oliver's younger sister, Thea Queen.
Unfortunately for Gibb, she didn't have anyone to call on. Most of her friends were dead and the one surviving friend she had, Will Rollins, was stuck in Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital, and she wouldn't be able to break him out even for a special occasion like this. But… there was still the matter of Andy. He seemed to be the only one that had not arrived yet, which was very concerning because he was the one who got everybody together, and still had to send Chucky back to Hell. Is he ever going to show up? Surely he had not given up on the mission, right?
Luckily, everyone's worries were put to rest as Andy arrived at the Arrowcave, causing everyone's eyes to turn to him. Nica and Alice then ran up to him and gave him a bear hug.
"I'm so glad you're back." Nica whispered. "We didn't know where you were."
"Well, don't worry. I ain't going anywhere. Not anymore." Andy assured his wife, before giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Oliver, Andy, We have a problem!" Felicity yelled as she looked at her computer while Andy joined her and Oliver.
"A sinkhole had just opened up in the middle of the city. Everything had been released, evil souls, demons, even guys we've faced before."
"Including Invunche and Ra's Al Ghul." Constantine added.
"And hundreds of people have been killed within the past 10 minutes." Harry finished.
"Damn. He's started already." Andy muttered as he loaded his pistol and turned to everyone in the bunker. All of which included: Team Arrow, both old and new, Team Flash, Ash's team, the Ghostbeaters, Hellboy and Liz, Citizen Cold and The Ray, Supergirl and Superman, The Martian Manhunter, the remains of Cayden James' cabal, The Thinker, Ruby, Chloe Decker and Dan Espinoza, Ella Lopez, and finally, his fellow Dark Legends and the kids. With that, Barclay began his speech.
"I'm not that big on speeches, so I'll make this brief. I never thought that avenging my friend would lead up to this. Never have I ever thought that I would be fighting a war with supernatural forces over the fate of the whole planet. I know most of you guys have saved the world before, but this is all new to me. I'm just being blunt when I say that: I am no hero. I was just a kid who wanted to be rid of a possessed doll who tormented me for the past three decades. But this here… this is much bigger than me. And that's why I'm asking you all, allies and enemies, to come together, just this once, and fight for the greater good. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, there's a chance that some of us won't survive. But we won't… we can't… let our sacrifices be in vain."
"Wow, that was really shitty pep talk." Gibb said.
"Yeah, I agree with Red Cap." Ash said as he revived up his chainsaw. "Ask for pointers next time."
"As the old saying goes: The enemy of my enemy is my friend." The Thinker said, to which everyone else agreed.
"Great. Now suit up." Oliver said. "It's time to go kick some ass."
"No." Kid Nora suddenly said. Everyone then turned to her with concern in their faces. But that concern faded when she spoke again.
"It's time to go kick my father's ass."
Alice, William, Trixie and Future Nora smiled after she said that. With that, the ensemble of heroes and villains exited the Arrowcave as quickly as they could and began walking down the ruins of Star City, with the sky being a dark red hue and burning buildings were everywhere.
The Dark Legends were front and center as they led the way, while Old and New Team Arrow, sans Felicity, Team Flash, sans Iris and Harry, and Ash's team were on the right, Red and Liz, Citizen Cold, Cayden James' cabal, Ruby, The Thinker, and the LA detectives were on the left, the Kryptonians, the Martian Manhunter and The Ray flew up in the air, and the children were right behind everyone else. They all then stopped as they saw Damien Darhk standing in the middle.
"Oh, it is so… heartwarming to see you all here. But unfortunately, all great things must come to an end."
Using his magic, Darhk then pushed the entire group down to the ground. As everyone got back up, Damien then observed the group and was shocked to see… his own daughter fighting alongside the heroes! Not only that, it was both the future version and the present day version.
"Nora? Why are you fighting with them?" Damien asked. "Both of you. Can't you see what I am doing? I am sparing a life without your mother. Or Oliver without his Laurel. Hell, Barclay won't have to live without any of his friends."
"The friends that you murdered!" Future Nora retorted.
"And what about the kids who actually have parents?!" Kid Nora added.
"THAT IS NOT MY POINT!" Darhk shouted as he attempted to push everyone down again. But then…
ZAP!
Suddenly, an energy blast hit Damien and knocked him to the ground. Andy then turned around to see the source of the beam, and it was none other than the Waverider.
Now Playing: "Going to Hell" by The Pretty Reckless
"Hope I'm not too late to the party." Rip Hunter's voice said on Andy's earpiece. "Had to pick up some friends along the way."
The cargo door then opened, and out came Jefferson Jackson, or simply Jax, with a heat gun that once belonged to the late Mick Rory, the Constantine from Earth-33 with his Holy Shotgun, the remaining members of the Justice Society of America, consisting of Stargirl and Obsidian, Roy Harper in his Arsenal suit, Rory Regan in his Ragman outfit, Jonah Hex, and two unspecified women in some kind of Amazonian gear. And finally, Bruce Wayne stepped out, fully in his bat-suit.
"Rip, you magnificent bastard." Andy smirked.
"I'll take that as a compliment, Mr. Barclay."
Darhk then got back up as his eyes turned blood red.
"Kill them all!" Darhk ordered, causing all of the demons and the returned villains to sprint towards the group.
"Let's end this right here, right now!" Andy yelled. And with that, the heroes began sprinting as well, and thus began the Hell on Earth War…
The Kryptonians, The Ray, Killer Frost, and the Waverider flew around as they blasted demons in the air, while the speedsters zoomed around picking off stray demons that were too fast for normal, although Barry briefly had a little tussle with Vandal Savage, but quickly killed him off.
Chloe and Dan fought side-by-side each other, slashing away any demon they came across with their handy demon daggers. But as they fought the demons, Chloe noticed somebody walking toward them. It appeared to be a man wearing a mechanic's suit, a plain white mask, and was at least 6 feet tall.
"Michael Myers?" Chloe gasped. As Myers finished walking towards her, he tried stabbing Chloe, but she quickly rolled to the side and stabbed him in the ankle… only for Michael to not register any pain, and stab Decker in the shoulder, causing her to scream.
"Chloe!" Dan yelled as he started running towards his partner, but then suddenly felt like he was being choked as someone locked him in a chokehold. Espinoza turned around to see who exactly was choking him, and was shocked to see a man in a business suit. But the most shocking part about it was this man had the exact same face as him.
"Hello, Danny." the man grinned.
"Sebastian."
"You always were the weaker one." Sebastian Blood said as he continued to choke his twin brother. "Had you just joined me, we could've been rich in power together. Nobody would've been able to stop us. Any last words?"
"I was gonna ask you the same question." Dan said as he reached for his dagger and quickly stabbed Blood in the ribs, freeing himself from his chokehold. He then proceeded to kick Sebastian to the ground, and pulled out his gun and shot him in the face multiple times before it was nothing but bloody holes. No pun intended.
"That was for mother."
Dan then pulled his dagger out of his brother's ribs and turned around to see that Chloe had just sliced off Myers' head, and started walking towards her.
"You alright?"
"I'm good. You?"
"Same. Just had to take care of some... family business."
Decker nodded, understanding what he meant by that. The detectives then looked up to see the Thinker flying around in his chair, blasting away enemies left and right.
Meanwhile, Quentin, Diggle, Joe, Ella, Diaz, and Anatoly are seen taking cover behind a car, and began to shoot seemingly regular criminals who had escaped from Hell.
"Shit! These guys are just gonna keep coming." Diggle said as he continued firing his bullets. Suddenly, a rock hit the back of his and everyone else's heads. They all turn to see five or so little goblin-like creatures cackling.
"Jesus, what the Hell are those things?" Lance asked.
"They look like… little… Gremlins." Ella guessed.
"Well, whatever they are, shoot them!" Joe ordered. The six then started shooting the Gremlins as they continued throwing rocks and laughing at them. But, for all their efforts, the little creatures keep getting back up.
"Fuck! Will these little bastards just stay down?!" Diaz yelled, frustrated. Suddenly, Liz Sherman jumped right in front of them, with a determined look on her face.
"Run."
As the six of them ran to another spot, Sherman then lit her whole body on fire, almost looking like she was turning into a Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball, and then she screamed her lungs out, before the fire exploded, burning the Gremlins once and for all. The group were amazed at Liz's power.
"That's hot." Lopez commented, causing everyone else to give her looks. But then, they turned to see more criminals and demons in their way.
"Dammit. What are we going to do about them?" Diggle asked, until suddenly hearing the voice of his wife, Lyla Michaels, on his commlink.
"Need some help?"
John looked up to see an ARGUS helicopter flying by and shooting at the demons. And as it got closer to the ground, out came Slade Wilson in his Deathstroke suit as he started cutting up demons and blowing holes through criminals, before he got into a brief sword fight with Ra's Al Ghul, in which he won by slicing Al Ghul's head off.
Gibb hid behind a destroyed alleyway, shooting flying demons and Deadites that kept coming straight at her with her trusty sniper rifle that she picked up just 20 minutes ago from her home when Constantine used a portal to briefly get her there.
"Goddammit, how many of these fuckers are there?" Gibb muttered, before she ran out the alleyway, trying to find a place that isn't too invaded by demons. But then she stopped as she saw a sight that absolutely broke her heart. What was right in front of her- or rather… who was right in front of her was an undead looking figure wearing a hockey mask and holding a machete. It didn't take Smith even a split second to recognize who this person was.
"Oh God. Jason."
As Jason started walking towards her, Gibb instantly noticed that his walk was much more mechanical than it usually was and his eyes were blood red, just like what Nora's eyes were when her father possessed her earlier. Gibb knew this meant Darhk was possessing Voorhees, which she knew he always hated being taken advantage of, remembering back to 15 years ago when Freddy Krueger did the exact same thing.
Voorhees then tried to attack Smith with his machete, but she did her absolute best to dodge him. And after a good 15 seconds of dodging, Gibb kicked Jason's machete away, but the Crystal Lake Killer wasn't going down that easily, as he grabbed her head with his bare hands, attempting to smash it into pieces. Gibb knew what she had to do, as much as it pained her to have to do it. While Voorhees strained her, Smith loaded an explosive tipped round into her rifle and aimed it at his head.
"I'm sorry." She whispered solemnly, before pulling the trigger and making Jason's head explode in a shower of blood. Gibb then watched as Voorhees' headless corpse fell on the ground. It was not easy having to put down her old friend who saved her from Freddy Krueger twice, but she knew that he thought it would be better this way, rather than being Darhk's puppet. Speaking of Krueger, she figured it was time to go find him and take him down.
But then Gibb felt something scratch her leg, and then looked down to see a short creature with a green outfit and hat and an orange beard. It almost looked like some sort of… Leprechaun.
"Oy! I'm lookin' for me gold!" the Leprechaun exclaimed in a nasally Irish accent. "Do you happen to be the person who stole it?"
Gibb, not having any of the Leprechaun's shit, then knocked him out by whacking him with her rifle.
"How's that for gold?" Gibb muttered, before turning around to see Ash Williams and his team fighting in a united front against a bunch of Deadites before coming across a man with a burnt face wearing a fedora hat and had knives for fingers. Smith smirked, instantly recognizing who they were up against and without wasting anymore time, ran up towards the group.
"Ah, who the fuck is that?" Ash asked.
"Freddy Krueger." Ruby Knowby growled. "He's not supposed to be here."
"Die, bitch!" Freddy yelled, as he jumped towards Ruby in an attempt to slash her. Knowby sidestepped, but suddenly… Krueger froze mid-air.
"What the fuck?" Kelly asked.
Everyone then turned to see Gibb holding out her hand. Freddy glared at her.
"You…" Krueger said menacingly.
"Hey, Freddy. Miss me?" Gibb taunted. Ash then smirked before turning to Krueger.
"If you wanna kill her, then get in line!"
Brandy then punched Krueger in the face, disorienting him and forcing Smith to give out. As Freddy regained his balance, Williams pulled out his shotgun, leveling it between his eyes.
"I'd like to see you wake up from this, asshole." Ash said before he pulled the trigger and blew Krueger's head off. Ash smirked before turning to Gibb.
"Appreciate the help, Red Cap. But I think we can take it from here."
"No problem." Gibb said before running towards the battlefield to fight even more demons and Deadites.
Just then, Williams encountered an old enemy of his, the demon known as Baal. Ash and his buddies lost the fight, but luckily Ruby was able to save him by slicing off the demon's head with her Kandarian dagger.
While all this was going on, Mr. Terrific and Wild Dog were seen mowing down demons, whether they were their size or larger.
"You know, the last time Damien Darhk tried to destroy the city-" Curtis said, as he paused to punch a demon in the face, before throwing a T-Sphere at another one. "-Oliver used the hope of the city to defeat him."
"Does this look hopeful to you, Hoss?" Ramirez asked as he continued mowing down demons before they both came face-to-face with a tall African American wearing a large brown fur trench coat with what appeared to be a hook in place of his right hand. The two have heard of this man, but only in urban legends.
"The Candyman?" Holt asked. "I thought he was a myth."
"Be my victim!" the Candyman said in his booming voice, before bees came flying out of his mouth and onto Curtis and Rene. He teleported in front of both of them and backhanded them to the ground, or rather, back-hooked.
But just when it seemed like the Candyman was about raise his hook to kill Mr. Terrific and Wild Dog, Dinah and Black Siren stepped in and used their sonic screams toward as many buildings with mirrors as they possibly could until they all eventually shattered, destroying the Candyman for good.
"Now who's the victim?" Black Siren smirked.
Jax ran as fast as he could, burning as many demons as he possibly could. Ever since losing his Firestorm powers when Martian Stein died during the Nazi invasion a few months back, he had been very out of practice with the superhero game. But on an occasion like this, he knew he had to come back out of retirement even if it was just for this moment.
As he ran, he spotted a large figure that sort of resembled a clown. Jackson vaguely remember hearing about this creature from the spooky stories that his father would occasionally tell him, particularly when he appeared back in 1960 terrorizing the children of Derry, Maine and supposedly came back in 1990 terrorizing those same children as adults. If he recalled correctly, his father said that they called this figure… Pennywise.
"Hello there..." Pennywise said as he picked Jax up and stared at him, revealing his sharp yellow teeth.
"I know you've heard of me. I'm every nightmare you've ever had. I'm your worst dream come true. I'm everything you were ever afraid-"
Pennywise failed to finish his sentence as Jax used Mick's heat gun and burned him to death. Jax then stared at the clown's charred corpse for a good 5 seconds.
"Shit. Now I get why Mick didn't like clowns." Jax said, remembering back to a couple months ago when the Legends went on mission to fix an anachronism at a circus in 1870. During that mission, Mick Rory mentioned that he had a fear of clowns, in which Jax had mocked for having, what he thought at the time, such a silly fear. But now, after seeing this, he did not blame Rory. With that, Jax started running once more, burning more and more demons.
On the other side of town, Nica and Hellboy are seen shooting side by side from each other with their pistols. But when Nica for a split second ran out of ammo, Red offered her up some of his holy water bullets. But just then, they had a little visit from an old "friend".
"Nica, I was only trying to help-" Dr. Foley tried to say before Red shot him in the leg, causing him to fall to the ground. Nica looked at Foley, seething in anger.
"You know what you did, you sick fuck!"
Pierce then repeatedly smashed the doctor's head for a second time until it once again looked like hamburger meat. Just as Nica rolled behind a trash can and continued shooting, Red also got an unexpected visit as an elf-like figure wearing Japanese like armor stepped in and tried to slice him.
"Nuada?" Red asked. "Where's your sister?"
"When we died, our link broke and Nuala went to the Silver City whereas I got sent to Hell," Prince Nuada explained. "And now that I have returned, I will continue my goal and erase all of humanity."
Red and Nuada got into a brief tussle with each other, but then Hellboy got the better of the elf and shot him in the chest.
"I hope it's not too awkward of a family reunion." Red muttered, before going back to shoot more Deadites.
"I've seen and done many things in my time, but I never expected to fight alongside the Devil of all people." J'onn J'onnz said as he, Lucifer, and Stargirl flew around, fighting flying demons.
"And somehow, I've never expected to fight alongside an alien." Lucifer said as he kicked a demon in the face and Stargirl proceeded to do the same to another demon before hopping back on her staff.
On the ground, Citizen Cold and Obsidian are seen side by side from each other as they use their respective weapons and powers to shoot at various demons and Deadites.
One block away from them was Rory Regan using his vine powers to chuck away as many Deadites and criminals as he possibly could. But just as he was doing so, he noticed a rather large demon stand in front of him. The demon started to breathe fire from its mouth, and as Regan was ready to meet his doom…. A figure jumped in front of him and blocked the fire blast directing towards the demon, knocking it to the ground.
As the vision became clearer, Regan noticed that the person who saved him was a woman with long black hair dressed in what appeared to be some sort of red Amazonian armor body plate with a gold eagle-shaped breastplate and a W-shaped belt plate of the same color, a blue skirt, red combat boots, and bracelets on both of her wrists, with a golden tiara on her forehead to complete the look. Regan was shocked as he realized who this lady was.
"Wonder Woman… I thought she was an urban legend…"
Rory had heard stories about Wonder Woman, where she was supposedly a warrior named Diana, hailed from the ancient island known as Themyscira and had saved the world during World War I. But after the war, nobody had seen or heard about her whereabouts for exactly a full century… Until now.
"Are you okay?" Wonder Woman asked.
"I'm fine, thanks." Ragman replied. "I just never would've expected to see you here."
"I was hidden from mankind for decades." Diana explained. "But now, after seeing many catastrophes like this, it might be time for me to come back to the open."
Wonder Woman then turned to the large demon as it got back up and then proceeded to jump towards the demon and kick the shit out of it, until she eventually sliced its head off with her sword. Diana then left the scene to battle more demons and Deadites, as well as save a couple of innocents from the carnage.
Meanwhile, Constantine was seen teaming up with his doppelgänger from Earth-33 as they shot down demons with their Ace of Winchester and Holy Shotgun respectively. But then as they got surrounded and all hope seemed to have been lost, Constantine's old friend Jim Corrigan, who had died four months ago during the final confrontation with Chucky and was reborn into the entity known as The Spectre, came to their rescue and disintegrated all nearby enemies. One block away from the Constantines were Cain and Jonah Hex shooting side by side with their guns.
As Kid Flash and Jesse Quick zoomed around the city trying to pick off as many stray demons as possible, someone hit the both of them, knocking them to the ground. As they got up, they were shocked to see who exactly it was that hit them, and it was none other than Hunter Zolomon, otherwise known as Zoom.
"Zoom." Jesse growled.
"Did you miss me?" Zoom gloated in his booming voice though his mask.
West and Jesse gritted their teeth as they ran up towards Zoom and started throwing as many punches and kicks as they possibly could, but Zolomon blocked all of them with ease, before proceeding to knock them out again. Hunter then ran up towards them and grabbed them by their necks, choking them to near-death. But just as they were about to snuff it, Jay Garrick came to their rescue and knocked Zoom out.
"It was about time I had some payback for putting me in that dreaded iron mask." Garrick said.
Not wanting to miss the opportunity, Jesse grabbed a broken piece of glass and zoomed towards Zoom and stabbed him in the chest, killing him. She then helped Wally up and they, alongside Jay, continued to zoom across the city.
Further down the street were Thea and Roy taking out as many demons and Deadites as they could with their bows and arrows, but then they briefly got into a tussle with Malcom Merlyn and Adrian Chase, otherwise known as the Dark Archer and Prometheus, in which they won.
Up in the sky were Supergirl and her cousin Superman as they laser beam Deadites from the ground and Superman alongside Killer Frost used their combined freezing powers to freeze multiple enemies and smash them to bits.
In another part of the sky, the Ray was seen being chased by multiple flying demons until Lucifer came to his rescue.
"Thanks." Ray said as he blasted a demon behind Morningstar.
"Anytime, mate." Lucifer replied before he flew off into a breach that Vibe created for him to continue the fight on the ground. But as he left the breach, he noticed somebody running in the middle of the carnage. The Devil groaned as he remembered who that man was.
"Not that asshole again."
He was Reese Getty, Dr. Linda Martin's ex husband. Back in 2016, Getty had found out that Lucifer was sleeping with Linda, and then for the past year, tried to ruin his reputation and even prove to the city of LA that he was in fact the Devil. Rolling his eyes at that memory, Lucifer quickly ran up to Reese and killed him on the spot.
Meanwhile, Oliver was standing on top of a car, shooting multiple arrows at various demons and Deadites. But then, Green Arrow turned around to see a demon that appeared to be dressed like a Nun, and no matter how hard he tried, the Nun tanked his attacks like nothing. The Nun then used some type of telekinesis to pick up multiple shards of glass and directed them towards Oliver. But just as Queen was ready to brace his death, the shards froze, and The Nun's neck was snapped. Confused, Oliver looked down to see Future Nora with her hand twisted to the side. Understanding what happened, Green Arrow nodded as he kicked another criminal off of the car and continued fighting.
As this was all happening, the kids, with the assistance of Chas, were on a rooftop shooting at anything that wasn't friendly on the ground. And finally, Andy and Bruce Wayne were side by side from each other. Batman threw his explosive batarangs at Deadites and used his batclaw to pull criminals and slam them down to the ground. He then grappled up to a building, taking a thug along with him and smashed his face into a window. After Wayne rejoined Andy in the streets, Barclay turned around to see Damien and ran up at full speed towards him. But unfortunately, Darhk saw him coming a mile away and with his magic threw him to a wall.
"ENOUGH!" Darhk shouted and with the swift of his hand, knocked everyone off of their feet.
"You're losing, Damien." Andy taunted, getting back up. "Most of your men are all dead."
"Oh, they can come back." Darhk said, shrugging it off. "But you can't."
Just then, Damien started choking Andy with his magic, but he and Barclay still managed to have a little talk. While they were talking, as Gibb stood up from the ground, she noticed that the Necronomicon was right in front of her. Picking up the book, she then thought about something.
Gibb remembered seeing this book from the vision she had of her alternate life where she became a killer, murdering teenagers alongside Jason Voorhees. From what she could recall, at one point, she and Jason had a run-in with Tommy Jarvis and his wife, Megan, which then led to her saving Jason, but at the cost of her own life. Voorhees then took Smith's lifeless body to his mother's old house and then read from the Necronomicon to bring her back to life. But then… after she was brought back to life, she was a completely different person. She possessed super strength, was able to regenerate, and even had the ability to possess people's bodies.
But of course, that was from a much darker timeline. In a way, thinking back to when Darhk sent her to Hell, maybe that version of herself deserved to be sent to Westin Hills. Although even then, she still most likely wouldn't want Freddy Krueger of all people to be her psychiatrist.
Yet in the current timeline, that event never happened. And with the book now in her hands, Gibb started to wonder: Should she use the book at this very moment? I mean, sure, there is still the risk of potentially making the situation worse leading to the Earth's destruction even sooner… But at the same time, it might be a risk worth taking as it could give her the ability to possess Darhk's body and possibly make him end his own life. I guess there was only one way to-
"Hey, Red Cap!"
Smith's train of thought then got interrupted when she saw Ash walking towards her.
"I hope you don't mind but uh… I'm gonna need to borrow that book there."
"Oh. Well here, take it." Gibb obliged as she handed the Necronomicon to Ash.
"Thanks." Ash said before walking back towards Andy and Darhk.
"And how will you know for sure we each hold our ends of the bargain?" Damien said with a smug smile on his face.
"With this!" Ash said as he held up the Necronomicon. "Nifty little fight club Bill and I had two years ago. But of course, he never kept his word…"
Just then, Ruby took the book from Williams and made little cuts in Andy and Darhk's hands just as the two said their wagers, leading to them putting their fists together and causing their blood to drip onto the Necronomicon, all while Knowby said a Sumerian chant.
"You know, Bill once told me that a promise sealed with blood is the strongest bond." Ash said as he lit up a joint, causing Gibb to step two inches away from him.
What came next was Andy and Darhk duking it out with just hand-to-hand combat. While they were very much even for the most part, Damien clearly looked to be a bit rusty with his skills, but still managed to hold his own. But as Barclay got the better of him, Darhk decided to cheat by using his magic to throw Andy into a building. With that, Darhk pulled out his time stone in an attempt to leave, but Andy grabbed his arm as the stone lit up, and thus… they both disappeared.
"ANDY!" Nica screamed under the heavens, saddened by the sudden disappearance of her husband. The other Dark Legends then walked up and comforted her.
"It's alright, Nica." Constantine said. "Knowing that husband of yours, he'll figure out a way to beat Darhk and come back."
"Where could he have gone, though?" Lucifer asked.
"I'm not too certain, but if I had to guess, they were transported to a dimension outside of time itself." Future Nora concurred. "Mallus' realm."
"Holy shit." Chas gasped. Just then, Gibb turned around and saw something horrifying.
"G-guys? You might wanna see this." Gibb told the team. The Dark Legends then turned to see what Smith was looking at, and saw a herd of demons and Deadites heading towards them.
"Okay, what are we going to do about that?" Cain asked.
"I believe I can help."
The Dark Legends all turn around to see a woman with blonde hair wearing armor similar to that of Wonder Woman's except hers was all gold.
"Who are you?" Nica asked.
"I am Helen of Troy. And I'm an old friend of the Legends." Helen said. "I take it you are the new Legends?"
"We prefer to call ourselves the Dark Legends, but yes, you could say that." Lucifer said.
"Well, they inspired me to become a warrior on Themyscira. And upon hearing about their deaths, I wanted to honor them by helping you." Helen continued. "And I didn't come alone."
Helen and the Dark Legends then looked towards Wonder Woman, who was seen beating up some criminals with both her fists and her sword.
"You're with that Wonder lady?" Gibb asked. Helen nodded.
"Me and Diana have been friends for many centuries. For as long as when she was just a child."

"Okay, I'd hate to break this sentimental moment, love, but we gots some bloody demons to fuck up." Constantine said bluntly. Helen nodded, and they turned towards the demons and Deadites.
"Anyone here seen Attack on Titan?" Gibb asked.
"No." Everyone else replied.
"Well… let's just say this is gonna be like that."
And thus, the Dark Legends and Helen charged at the demons and Deadites and began two minutes of chaos.
Nica shot up as many of the enemies as she possibly could with what little she had left of the holy water bullets Hellboy gave her. But when she ran out of ammo, several Deadites started surrounding her. But just when it looked like Pierce was about to perish, Cain came to her rescue and blocked all of the Deadites' attacks, and blew them all up with the blunderbuss that he got from the pirate island mission.
Constantine and Chas were side by side taking out demons with both of their weapons. And as they were taking them out, a demon then stabbed Chandler in the chest, leaving him unconscious briefly. But then Constantine figured "fuck it" and then burned on the demons surrounding him with two fire blasts, before helping Chas back up as he regained consciousness.
Gibb was seen blasting demons and Deadites with her sniper rifle, taking out most of them in her way, but like with Nica earlier, she had run out of ammo. But as one Deadite charged at her, just when she was ready to meet her end… the Deadite suddenly froze. Smith was a little bit confused. Was she doing this? She then turned around and saw Future Nora holding her hand out. Nodding at Darhk, Gibb then lit up her fingertips on fire, before touching the Deadite with them, burning it to a crisp.
Helen fought off the last of the herd as best as she could. But as she was feeling a bit tired, Lucifer came to the scene with his wings out. Getting an idea, Morningstar then grabbed a hold of Helen, flew her up to the sky, and then proceeded to throw her back towards the ground as she took out her sword and sliced off the heads of five demons.
The group then started to pant as they looked around to see all of the dead corpses on the ground with blood everywhere.
"Well, that's a wrap on that then." Constantine commented before they all turned to Helen. "Appreciate the help, love."
"Anytime." Helen said before going her separate ways.
"Hey, what's that over there?" Nica asked as she pointed towards what appeared to be a rift of sorts. They all walked over to the rift, and as they got a closer look at it, they were shocked to see what was inside.
"Andy." Nica gasped.
Inside the rift was Andy in what looked to be a very dark and desolate place, down on his knees looking to be very beaten up. It appeared that he may have won his fight with Darhk and defeated the sorcerer for good. Nica then quickly put her hand into the rift and pulled her husband back to Earth, causing Barclay to fall on his back, knocked out as the other Dark Legends looked down on him.
"No, no, no!" Nica shouted as tears started to form in her eyes. "Please don't be dead, Andy. Please, please, please."
"Kyle…?"
Andy's eyes then snapped open as he gasped for air, to the relief of everyone.
"Andy!" Nica yelled as she cried tears of joy and repeatedly kissed her husband. "Are you alright?"
Andy looked at her and gave her an assuring smile.
"I'm home."
Barclay and Pierce then shared a passionate kiss. As this was unfolding, Constantine noticed that Gibb was also tearing up.
"You alright?" Constantine asked.
"Yeah, sorry." Gibb replied, as she grabbed a tissue and blew her nose. "Moments like this just make me emotional." John then patted her on the back in comfort.
"Uh, guys?" Felicity said into everyone's earpieces. "We have a problem."
"What is it, Overwatch?" Oliver asked as he walked toward the scene.
"The sinkholes aren't closing." Felicity said. "Even though I'm assuming Andy defeated Darhk, the sinkholes are still going to tear the Earth apart!"
"How is that possible?" Gibb asked, bewildered. "Surely with Darhk dead, the sinkholes would've started closing immediately."
"It doesn't work that way, Smith." Constantine explained to her. "Hell needs a definitive ruler. In Lucifer's absence, Nergal was able to keep everyone in line. He was basically like the warden of the damned. But now that Damien killed him, there's no stopping Hell from being unleashed on Earth."
"Yes, there is." Lucifer said. "I can go back to Hell." Everybody else turned to him in shock.
"No, Lucifer. You can't…" Andy wheezed. "What about Chloe… and Trixi-"
"If I don't go, Chloe and Trixie will die!" Lucifer yelled. "And who else will go?"
"I will." Cain suddenly spoke up. "Even if you do manage to kill me, I'll still end up in Hell."
"Are you sure you want to do this, mate?" Constantine asked. "Ruling over Hell, making sure everyone is in line?" Cain nodded.
"Yes. I don't want to see anyone here die because of a decision I didn't make."
But before Cain did the deed, he figured he needed to say some final goodbyes. Starting with his fellow teammates.
"Andy, Gibb, Chas, it was a privilege getting to know you all."
Next was Constantine and Lucifer.
"Lucifer, Constantine, thank you for at least attempting to kill me."
Then, he turned to Chloe and Dan.
"Chloe, Dan, best of luck finding a new lieutenant."
After that, he turned to Alice, William, Trixie, and Kid Nora.
"Alice, Trixie, William… just a word of warning: I know that Chucky and his family are still out there somewhere. You might want to send him back as soon as possible."
The kids nodded.
"And Nica…" Cain said, walking towards Pierce, staring at her for a good 5 seconds, before embracing her in a hug.
"See you around… cousin."
"You too… Marcus."
Cain- no… Marcus smiled after she said that before walking toward the edge of the sinking hole. He then stretched his arms outward and fell backwards into the sinkhole. And with that, almost immediately after the world's first murderer fell in, the hole closed up.
"Guys, it worked!" Felicity yelled on the comms. "All of the sinkholes are closed!"
"I can't hear Mallus' or Daddy's voice in my head anymore." Kid Nora told Alice, William, Trixie, Andy, Nica, and her future self.
"And it appears that I no longer exist." Future Nora added, watching her hand fade away. "Nica and Andy, thank you for showing me what my father was truly like. And thank you, Alice, for being there for me as a child."
The Barclays then nodded, before Future Nora turned to Kid Nora.
"Me- no… Nora, choose a better path in life, and don't be anything like Dad… or me. Promise?"
"I promise."
Future Nora smiled, and with that, faded away, completely erased from existence.
"Right. Let's head back to the bunker." Oliver announced.
"Agreed." Andy said. "We do need a place to stay for the night."
And with that, Andy and Oliver led the ensemble of heroes and villains back to Arrowcave, ready for some brief relaxation after the intense battle.
