Willow Rosenburg looked up into the eyes of her one true love. She stared intently into them, drowning the in flecks of gold amid the chocolate brown. They gently swayed to the music, and she relished the feeling of his arms around her. This is what she'd been waiting for almost her entire life. It was tempting to try and pinch herself, in fear she might be dreaming. She didn't, however, because she didn't want to ruin it by doing something stupid.

Willow was living her fantasy. They were dancing at the Bronze, in sight of all their classmates. She still couldn't believe it had happened, that he had finally decided to be with her. She'd been waiting so long, it was almost impossible to remember when she hadn't wished for this. He pulled her closer, and she snuggled against his chest. This moment was everything she had ever wanted.

This was it, Willow decided. Now was the moment she was going to tell him everything. She would tell him how she felt, how she'd been feeling since the day they had met. She could trust him with her heart, and today, she intended to. The moment approached as the last strains of the song they were dancing to faded away.
"I need to tell you something.' Willow whispered, looking up at him.
"What? You can tell me anything, and you know I won't tell a soul." He replied. She swallowed, gathering her courage, and then smiled.
"I love you, Xander." She answered.

The sudden and loud buzzing of Willow's alarm clock blared in her ear. She sat up, pushing the hair out of her face. She glanced at the offending clock, and sighed as she reached over and silenced it.
"It was just a dream." She said aloud, looking around her empty room.
