Hey, guys. This is BD with another MHI special. This particular story is a freeform challenge. I gave myself an hour and a half to write this story to keep my writing juices flowing. A bit of a sophomore effort but the fallacy of a writer. In this story, Shouto grabs the attention of an admirer, just not the way he thinks it would be. This is an OOC Weiss x OOC Shouto story. Enjoy.

A/N: The crossover shipping of Weiss (RWBY) and Shouto (MHA) is called Firewater.

It was a fresh smell of coffee that snapped open Shouto's eyes. The tired-eyed, icy hot teen stared at his savior with benevolence.

"God, you're so good to me." Shouto took the coffee cup and took a few sips. Coffee didn't count as it wasn't tea. Although he still had a bit of a phobia for hot drinks, tricking himself to know that this wasn't tea. It wasn't tea!

"Thanks for staying with me on this short notice." Momo replied, beaming her smile to the teen as she took a seat across from him.

Momo was needed to stay after school to work on some documents for the Student Council. Her expertise and being #2 in her class gave her the qualifications to work on this task. The lamentations from the faculty to admit that they were using her as cheap labor.

"Voluntary simplicity, my ass." Momo said as she was looking at the spreadsheets. "Just admit that you guys are broke and I am nothing more than a gofer." She gnashed her teeth. "I will be here all night."

"I'll stay if you want," replied the icy hot teen. "Gives me an excuse not to go and see Dad." He shrugged his shoulders. A break was needed since the only reason why he was tired was due to his father overexerting him day in and day out at his hero agency.

"Thanks. I'll buy you dinner next time we go to the drink bar."

"Is that an invitation?" He said with alluring eyes.

The vice president scoffed. "Keep dreaming, spaz. How many times do I have to tell you?"

He interjected. "I know." He rolled his eyes. "I don't like you-like you, I just like you." He blew a raspberry. "Me, the school, and even the villains know this. Don't have to remind me again."

She smiled. "You're welcome, sweetness. Just letting you know." She buried herself back into her work.

It wasn't a secret that Shouto had feelings for Momo. They were often paired together in assignments, they hung out together whenever Kyouka was unavailable, and the rumor mill already shipped them as a couple. Momo, on the other hand, wasn't moved by rumors and hearsays. She never confirmed nor denied it with her peers. She made it clear to him that their relationship was simply platonic.

'There is a special place in my heart where you reside, Todoroki-kun. But, I don't have those kinds of feelings for you.'

It wasn't exactly a body punch, but more than a pinch on the cheek. She valued her singleness and wanted to concentrate on her future as a Pro Heroine. Nevertheless, he refused to give up. A fool he was becoming, like many before him — she was the Starfire to his Robin, the Lila to his Arnold, and the low-down, backstabbing, lying, cheating ass Korra to his Mako. It was all one-sided, unrequited, and despite it all, he wouldn't give up.

Even if he was just an accessory, he knew that he was an accessory she couldn't leave without. A man could only dream and therefore he must endure. If he survived the pressures of hot kettle tea from his mother, the mental abuse of his father, and the physical abuse of his older brother, Toya, then he could persevere to obtain Yaoyorozu. He was a survivor and a fighter — one couldn't live without the other!

As he contemplated on resuming his work, his attention was taken elsewhere when he heard the doors of the library opened. In entered a teen that he didn't recognize. She had long white hair that was in pigtails. She had a distinctive scar on her face — not enough that took away the beauty of the woman.

She was sporting a long brown trench coat and a white facemask concealed the bottom half of her face. However, it was her eyes that were speaking to Shouto — sharp, concise, and crystal clear to anyone who were to interpret the windows to her soul that she wasn't the everyday type.

He couldn't keep his eyes away from her. He wasn't alone. The onlookers that halted their studies and small talk watched as she walked around the counter, past the receptionist and the clerks. She had the look that spoke volumes — I know what I am doing and I know what I am looking for, so therefore don't bother asking me anything! She had to be the prissy and pampered type. He could tell by her air, a made bitch! That alone made it loud and clear to not mess around or get near her. The last thing he wanted to do was to get on her bad side.

"Todoroki-kun?" Shouto was snapped back to reality when he noticed Momo's hand waving in front of him.

"Y-yeah?" He asked, seeing the inquisitive look of his classmate.

"You seemed distracted about something, is everything all right?" Momo asked him.

Before he could answer, the girl-in-question situated herself at the table behind them. Momo's back was away from her but he had a clear view of the teen. She had her backpack and pulled a notebook from its confines. The white-haired teen pulled out a pencil as she cracked open the notebook. What made the teen hesitate was that throughout the entire process her eyes never left his sight. Even when turning his head in different directions or looking away, her eyes never left his.

That alone brought shivers to his spine.

"Todoroki-kun?"

Shouto instinctively bowed. "Sorry, Yaoyorozu-chan." He scratched his chin and looked down at his textbook. When lifting his head, the white-haired teen was still glaring at him. Only this time, it had to be intentionally.

"Hey," he whispered to Momo. "Don't turn around but there is a girl who is giving me quite the yandere vibes."

"Behind me?"

"Shh! Yeah," he responded.

Momo touched her cheek, as if she was unsurprised by Shouto's potential 'admirer.' Against his advice, she subtly turned her head as if she needed to grab something. She took a slight glance at the girl in question, confirming what Shouto was telling her.

Reaching for the notebook and then turning her head back to him, her response was a shoulder shrug. "Oh, her?"

Shouto looked behind Momo. The white-haired teen was no longer looking at him and instead commencing with her purpose of being at the library.

"Well…who is she?" Shouto asked inquisitively.

"That's Weiss Schnee," she answered. "She is a recent transfer from Beacon Academy."

"Beacon Academy," he retorted. "That's that private school in Vale. In Remnant?"

"That's the one," she answered. "Weiss Schnee came here provisionally."

Vocabulary wasn't exactly his strong suit and neither was the word provisional until that fateful day with Aizawa-sensei and the entire 1-A class. He shuddered as he didn't want to be reminded of that day. "Provisional, you say?"

Yaoyorozu nodded. Shouto noticed Momo's facial expression. It showed worry and concern. He arched his eyebrow. Before he could speak, Momo jerked her head, notioning at him that they needed to discuss this elsewhere.

Shouto nodded in understanding as she stood up and left first. The teen waited at least a few additional seconds. As soon as he felt it was safe enough to move, the facemask-wearing teen had a clear view of him — staring daggers!

Not usually the fearful type, he did admit that this girl had a yandere aura and it must be bad news that Momo wanted to talk about this privately.

About five minutes later….

Shouto met Momo at the end of the aisle. There were seats available for those who wanted quiet reading. Momo felt they were far enough to discuss what she wanted to say.

"Weiss Schnee is a girl that you don't want to trifle with," she said monotonously. She pursed her lips as she scooted to the edge of her seat. "She is a bad seed."

"How come I haven't seen her before?"

"Remember when I say, provisional, she is in class 1-H for the time being with Hatsume and the other grease monkeys," replied Momo. "Nezu felt that she needed a hands-on approach with her studies until they could properly place her."

"What's her story?"

"Do you remember last year when Deku studied abroad in Remnant and there was that fiasco when he was kidnapped by that gangster Roman Torchwick and his sidekick, Neo?"

How couldn't he forget? Social media flooded his timeline when Izuku was kidnapped by the Dust-trafficking gangster. It was an international crisis as an Earthling kidnapped by Remnantians was crucial since they have been building better inter-universal relations between both planets. However, the kidnapping itself wasn't the main pressing issue. It was the subsequent event when learning that he was held captive with another classmate in which debauchery took place, resulting in getting the girl pregnant.

Momo ran her fingers through her hair. "That was hell — bringing Izuku back and at the same time, knowing he impregnated a Remnant teen at that. Making problems worse, he was so mind broken that he had to be homebound until he got the proper help. And he still hasn't been the same since."

"Poor bastard." Shouto replied lamentably. Izuku and the girl-in-question, Ruby Rose, were forced to separate. Both parents of the teens felt that there were brainwashed and were forced to have sex with each other out of pure amusement. Last thing he heard was that Ruby was sent back home to be with her parents and withdrew from Beacon. Shortly after the baby was born, her father placed Ruby and Izuku's son up for adoption.

Izuku hasn't been the same since and wasn't sure if he could ever return to his former gentle-hearted self.

"Anyway…Ruby and Weiss are…well were best friends," said Momo. "Shortly after learning of Ruby's pregnancy, the Snow Queen went on a tirade."

"A tirade?"

"She smashed all of the windows of her school with a single baseball bat, held the headmaster hostage after bludgeoning him, and caused a standoff with police," replied Momo.

"Wait a minute? Aren't they a magical school? They got things like semblances and aura in lieu of quirks," retorted Shouto.

"Never underestimate the power of a yandere," said Momo. "No quirk or semblance in the world can prevent such things. A yandere wants what a yandere wants — no and's, if's, or but's about it!" She continued. "Her parents put her out of school and took her to some therapeutic school until things blew over — just a fancy way to say that her father dearest paid for the damages and to convince the headmaster to bring her back to school. However, those plans didn't last too long after she attempted to take her best friend's life."

"What did she do?"

"Remember that baseball bat? Let's say she was gonna use it for batting practice." She dropped her head, still relishing in the shock of telling this story. "Fortunately, Ruby's sister was there to stop it. However, she didn't go unscathed. I won't get too graphic but Weiss struck Ruby. The baby lived, if that is a bright side, but premature. However, I doubt their friendship will ever return."

Shouto was in shock of the chain of events — Izuku's kidnapping led to his engagement with Ruby. Ruby and Izuku were separated shortly after the kidnapping. Weiss went on a tirade and nearly killed her best friend. All in all were tragic and unfortunate events, but just like anything, there was a formula that served as the catalyst.

"Weiss' father paid Nezu a large lump sum of money and even promised to fund them for the next couple of years if they take her in," said Momo. "Unethical and quite biassed, but money will make you do things that you'll never say you do. And that is why Weiss is here."

"Wow!" That was all he could say.

"I was told by Nezu that she has people around the clock watching her," said Momo. "She is in 1-H until they feel she is capable enough of being part of the mainstream classes." She furrowed her eyes. "And since Izuku isn't returning any time soon, it won't be long until she fills the slot."

She looked at her watch, realizing that time was of the essence. "Take my advice, don't fool with her." She touched his cheek and walked away from him.

"Understood," he said as he stood up and followed suit.

A few moments later….

The icy hot teen returned back to his seat. While Momo resumed her work, the girl who sat behind her was gone. It was a load off his mind, or at least for now.

As he got comfortable in his seat and resumed his studies, he saw something sticking out of his notebook. "A napkin?" He slowly pulled it out of his notebook. He didn't recall having it inside or using it as a bookmark. There was something written on the napkin — coated in red and in another language.

"Ich weiss. Ich weiss, dass ich dich will. Ich weiss, dass ich dich gewählt habe. Und ich habe dich erwählt, also muss ich dich wollen. Ich weiss, wenn du nein sagst, wirst du leiden. Ich weiss, wenn du dich widersetzt, weiss ich, dass du meinen Schmerz spüren wirst. Wisse nur, dass du weisst, dass ich dich will. Und wenn das passiert, werde ich dich niemals gehen lassen."

"Hey, Yaoyo—"

"Not now, Todoroki-kun. Gotta get this done. We'll talk later."

There was no point debating or bothering with it. It was probably something that was dragged or stuffed in the notebook by accident or by chance. He knew it was in German and decided when he got home, he would translate the note.

But still, something wasn't right, especially the sticky texture of that note. It somewhat gave off a faint scent of copper. In his mind, he felt he was being presented with a message, if not a warning. Should he be on guard? Should he be afraid?

He tried not to let it get the best of him. There was schoolwork that needed to be finished.

To be continued….
