And so, with a massive rope attached to the four of them, Rocky, Bullwinkle, Sam and Max all continued to scale up the massive landmark that was Mount Everest. It was quite long and arduous, especially since Sam was utilizing Max's natural, sharp teeth to grip onto the sides of the mountain like a pickaxe.

"Doesn't that hurt him?" Rocky asked Sam.

"Not in the slightest!" Sam happily replied, continuing to clamber up. "Max's nerves are like a steel trap!"

"And so's his mouth, evidently." Rocky retorted.

They continued to clamber up the mountain, at some points Rocky would briefly fly upwards, but since there was so much wind speed on the mountain it caused him some difficulty.

Later that evening, they all made camp within a large cavern on the side of a mountain, where Rocky used a few twigs and a cigarette lighter to create a nice, roaring fire that enveloped the cavern in warmth, the walls aglow with light.

"S-Sam..." Max moaned. "I'm freezing my (*BLEEEP!*)-in' little (*BLEEEP!*) off!"

"Me too Sam, uh, I mean Max..." the dog stammered. "When they say "This is the winter of our Discontent", they certainly mean it, what with the frostbite, the epidermis slowly turning blue from lack of warmth, and teeth chattering like a frightened canary at a cat show..."

"You okay, R-Rock?" Bullwinkle asked the little squirrel, his antlers having grown icicles.

"O-of c-course I am! T-tomorrow we c-can find the--uh, SHANGRI-LA!" Rocky exclaimed excitedly, gripping BULLWINKLE by the shoulders.

"Jeez pal, did you contract ice madness?" Bullwinkle inquired.

"Ive just got regular madness!" Max happily chirped. "Ask Sam, I've been tested!"

"You crack me up, little buddy..." Sam remarked before yawning and going to sleep.

Meanwhile, while the dog and rabbity-thing slumbered, Rocky quietly spoke with Bullwinkle.

"I just don't see how that guy can deal with him!" Rocky whispered. "That rabbit's out of control!"

"I dunno Rock, I think he's kinda cute!" Bullwinkle smiled.

Rocky gazed over at Sam and Max to find that Max was fitfully twitching in his sleep.

"Mrrghh...napalm..." Max muttered while he slept.

"Okay maybe there is something wrong with the little guy but otherwise, look at him!" Bullwinkle smiled.

"Goodnight, Bullwinkle..." Rocky sighed, then closed his eyes.

"Goodnight, Rocky..." the moose smiled.
