I don't own any of this Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon and Jurassic Park/World belongs to Universal.

Turning his head behind him as he ran, Lincoln sees that the pachycephalosaurus is still after him, easily gaining on him. Reaching a large rock, Lincoln stopped and looked back, he yelps before jumping out of the way just as the hard headed dinosaur headbutted the rock, cracking it a bit from the force of the impact.

Shaking his head the pachycephalosaurus turned to Lincoln who stood in front of a tree, shaking tremendously as the dinosaur snorted at him before fully charging at him. Everything is a blur for Lincoln for the next couple of seconds, but when the word finally came back into focus, Lincoln had found himself on a tree branch that's well above the pachycephalosaurus who looked up at him while letting out a couple of snorts.

He headbutts the tree a couple of times, shaking it a bit before looking back up at Lincoln who kept a firm grip on the shaking branch. Letting out one last snort the dinosaur turned back and began to head his way back to the nest, leaving Lincoln to wipe his head in relief for at least that dinosaur is no longer a threat to him. Now with that dinosaur gone, he can now get back on rescuing Clyde from the clutches of the pteranodons.

Poor Clyde must be terrified at the moment, he probably fainted from how scared he is. Luckily Lincoln knew exactly where they were heading, plus it is a very visible landmark considering it is a volcano that is very luckily dormant. From here on this branch, Lincoln turned to face Mount Sibo that loomed nearby. Somewhere on that volcano is his best friend and as long as he wasn't going to run into any other dinosaurs. Lincoln wasn't going to stop until he saves his best friend from certain doom.

Checking back down below and around him to determine that it's safe. Lincoln climbs himself down the tree and after doing another quick look around, he heads towards Mount Sibo with purpose in his walk.

The pachycephalosaurus is halfway there to the nest, he'll just have to walk a few more miles and then he'll be there. But then he suddenly stopped once he caught the scent of something, something dangerous. The scent instantly gets him on full alert to defend himself. He turns his head to left, right, behind, and in front of him to try and see the danger that is presented to him. He will not go down without a fight as his mate and future hatchlings needed him.

A noise from above draws his attention. He merely looks up before getting tackled down by a large predator that savagely ripped him apart with no mercy.

Waking up with a bit of a jerk. Clyde at first couldn't register anything as his brain had to process on what is happening? The first thing he registered was the trees of the jungle, then came the realization that he is in fact hanging in midair thanks to a couple of vines that have tangled themselves around his arms and legs.

With these things now registered, Clyde at first tried to wiggle himself out of his current predicament, that was until he looked down and took notice that he is rather high up from the ground, which didn't sit so well with his fear of heights at all. He felt immediate dizziness along with his breathing becoming very heavy and the feeling of fainting.

Out of the fear of falling down from such a great height, Clyde immediately goes completely frozen as his breathing became even more heavier. He really wished that he had his panic bag with him right now as at least that would slightly help him calm his nerves, but since he doesn't have it with him, Clyde is unfortunately forced to deal with his heavy breathing and his fears.

Slowly looking up, Clyde stared at the branch that held the vines. It is too far away for him to reach for, plus he didn't want to climb the vines in fears of breaking them. If by all definitions Clyde is essentially stuck from where he is and it isn't exactly a nice place to be stuck in, especially when horrible thoughts came through his head.

Many of these thoughts had consisted of the vines snapping, more pteranodons or dimorphodons coming to either snatch him up or bite him, or even worse what if the branch holding him broke and send him all the way down to cold hard ground? That last one is the worse scenario for a person who is afraid of heights such as Clyde, it's like having a person with arachnophobia being pushed into a room full of tarantulas or have person who's afraid of snakes encountering a giant anaconda. It's a personal hell for anyway with those fears and this is a grim reality for Clyde who only moved thanks to the wind swaying him back and forth.

"How am I going to get out of here!?" Clyde repeated within his mind over and over again. One hopeful thought that managed to peak through his terrified clouds of thoughts is that Lincoln would find him and come up with a plan that could get him down nice and gently to the ground where Clyde swore that he would gladly kiss it. Hopefully that'll be soon for he doesn't want to be stuck up here for more than ten minutes.

He doesn't get to think of anything else as snapping of sticks below him gets his attention. Hope starts to fill him for maybe that was Lincoln coming out of the jungle right now, his hopeful smile however quickly faded once that it revealed that it was just a stegosaurus who walked to the base of the tree and started to nibble on the ferns.

From up here Clyde could just make out a wound on her front right leg that came from a triceratops after a little disagreement over a bush a day ago. The dinosaur could be seen on not placing too much pressure on the injured leg, which made Clyde sympathize for the poor animal. "Aw poor girl. That leg must really hurt."

Continuing to watch the spike tail dinosaur feasting on the ferns, Clyde now had a small relief that he is a good distance away from the animal for although he much prefer a less higher place and had a great sympathy for the injured animal. He didn't want to get too close to her for an injured animal is very dangerous as they can be very unpredictable, especially if they think that you are going to hurt it.

The stegosaurus meanwhile lifts up her head with a piece of fern stuck to her mouth that moved up and down. She pauses to sniff the air, letting a sound, before she goes back to eating the fern. She doesn't get to enjoy her meal for very long as she suddenly looked to her left and spotted a allosaurus creeping up on her.

Quickly the stegosaurus gets in a defensive position by moving her back end towards the predator while swinging her spike slowly, ready to strike at the predator's neck. The allosaurus meanwhile is very cautious as he studied the injured stegosaur for he needed to do this right if he wanted to get this meal or else he'll end up getting killed himself by the hand of those thagomizers.

But of course he is just the distraction for the deadly herbivore.

From up where he is hanging. Clyde witnesses another allosaurus running out from a thick blankets of trees and takes a massive bite on the stegosaurus's side, creating a massive gash that makes the herbivore cry out. The first allosaurus meanwhile pounces forward and bites down on the neck, strangling the stegosaur with its teeth until it dropped limped and the second one pushes it down to its side while a great amount of blood flows out from the wound she made.

The two allosaurus look down at their meal with drool coming down their mouths. They then looked at each other and do a loving nuzzle with soft growls, they then soon started to feast down on the stegosaurus. Ripping off chunks of flesh, while using their claws to dig in deeper.

From high up. Clyde had a uncomfortable view of the feast, with all the bloody details galore. He had watched this for about a good twenty minutes until finally the pair have eaten their fill. They both go in a nice sunny spot, then laid themselves down on that nice spot to have a nice rest.

Clyde watches them intently for he didn't want them to see him, he doubts that they can get him from how high he is, but regardless Clyde didn't like the idea of two carnivores knowing where he is. He is then pulled out of his thoughts as he suddenly jerked downwards a bit, the sudden jerk made Clyde freeze in fear as sweat formed on his head.

Raising his eyes slowly up, Clyde sees in dismay that the vines are beginning to snap. "Oh no." Clyde cried. "Please no."

With a snap! The last of the vines breaks, plumbing Clyde towards the ground at high speeds while he let out terrified screams for it looks like that this was it. He was going crash into the ground and die from impact. Closing his eyes Clyde prepares for impact, only for him to suddenly stop with a great jerk that might have gave him whiplash. Opening his eyes, Clyde took notice that he is just a few inches from the ground, looking back up he took notice that the vines had wrapped themselves around another branch.

Great relief wash over him for it looks like that he wasn't going to be splattered all over the ground. Heck, since he is now inches from the ground, he can just as easily slip out of these vines. Wiggling himself out of the vines, Clyde landed on his feet with a bit of a grunt as that hadn't been exactly a nice landing. Standing up himself straight, Clyde looked over to the allosaurus pair for he feared that his landing might have alerted them.

He hold in a gasp as the male allosaurus is looking right at him, Clyde is utterly frozen on the spot for any moment he will get up and come after him. Instead much to Clyde's surprise the allosaurus scratches it's chin before laying his head back down, it's a great surprise for Clyde as he inspected to be in another life and death chase, though he greatly likes this turn of events.

He'll just have to walk away very slowly as breaking into a run may very well trigger their predatory instincts. So he slowly backs away until they were out of site, brushing pass ferns and bumping the sides of trees in the process. Now no longer seeing them, Clyde turned around and grimaced as in front of him is deep, dark, and dense jungle. "Oh boy." He squeaked as this certainly wasn't his day.

First he got snatched up and got brought home as lunch for pteranodon babies, then he had to deal with his phobia of heights, and now he has to walk through this dense jungle in an unknown part of the island. Looking back Clyde wondered if it isn't too late to just go through the much more lighter side of the jungle.

The distant roar from the tyrannosaur however quickly made Clyde reconsider this thought and instead went into the dark jungle for at least it was too thick for a large animal like the rex to come through. Besides who knows maybe he'll run into Lincoln somewhere in here as he is a hundred percent positive that Lincoln is on his way to save him right at this second.

Pushing apart a large bush with his arms, huge happiness filled Lincoln once he saw that he is finally at the base of Mount Sibo. It took much longer than he had expected, but at last he is here.

Now all he had to do is to start climbing and find the right nest that Clyde is in. Yeah, this wasn't exactly going to be easy, especially since it look like that it looked steep in some areas of the volcano. He wouldn't normally be doing this, but since this is for his best friend, he's willing to do anything no matter what it takes. "Here I come buddy." He spoke in determination.

Letting in a huge huff of air, Lincoln begins his climb up the volcano. It wasn't so bad at first as he had a couple of trees to hold on to, so that he wouldn't fall or slip, but once he got to the more rocky slopes Lincoln had to take much more easier routes in order to advance more up the mountain side. All around him there is nothing but rocks, as well as the occasional geothermal vents, and nests that had old egg shells in them which reminded Lincoln that he has to be extra careful around these parts for this is pure pteranodon territory. The only dinosaurs that were in these parts were those compies that most likely preyed on the eggs and the hatchlings, in fact he had seen one with a eggshell in its mouth running down the slope.

So far he hasn't seen Clyde in any of those nests, but he knows that he must be around here somewhere and he'll search every nest on this volcano until he finds him. The only thing that will really stop him would be.

A sudden squawking alerts Lincoln enough to make him look up towards the sky.

Approaching from the beach are a rather large flock of pteranodons who are all being noisy as they approach the volcano. Momentarily frozen for only a second, Lincoln breaks into a full run, while still checking in for Clyde at each nest that he passes. He feels a great whoosh of air above him from a passing pteranodon that flew overhead as it let out a angry cry over the intruder in their territory.

Another angry cry calls out to his side, looking over Lincoln spots another pteranodon flying at him with its feet ready to grab him. Thinking quickly Lincoln ducked down, making the reptile miss by a hair, dirt and small rocks pelted him from the wind the animal created. Lincoln wipes away the dirt off his face, but then felt the vibration of something large landing in front of him.

He looks up to see a pteranodon looking back down at him, before stabbing its beak towards his neck. Lincoln rolls himself out of the way, yet he rolled in the wrong direction and slid down a steep slope that ended with him crashing onto a ledge. Coughing and groaning from breathing in some dirt along with the force of his landing, Lincoln only had time to get on his knees before the angry calls of the pteranodons alerted him again.

Looking up he sees them circling above him like vultures before they all flew down right towards him. Thinking quickly, Lincoln looked over and noticed a cave that's perfect for him to slip in, but being too small for any of the pteranodons to come in after him. So upon seeing a good shelter to hide in, Lincoln almost does a dive as he ran into the cave, he made sure that he got a good distances away from the entrance as he turned back to face it.

The pteranodons flew pass the cave with auditable swoops and angry cries. One suddenly pushed its head and neck through the cave's entrance, snapping at the far out of reach Lincoln with its beak, until it finally gets itself out of the cave and flew back up into the sky leaving Lincoln to take a breath of relief and take a look around the cave which really wasn't much as it looked like the cave that he and Clyde were in back in the jungle.

Seeing how there really wasn't much to explore, Lincoln looked back towards the entrance where he can see the various shadows of the pteranodons passing by. He'll have to wait until the heat dies down before going back out there, now hopefully Clyde had time to wait some more before Lincoln could rescue him.

Exiting out of the dense jungle, Clyde places his hands on his hips as he looked down at the grassy plains below, which he guess must be Gryosphere Valley. Looking back from where he walked out of, Clyde had been surprised on how smooth his trek through the dense jungle had been, he honestly expected to be chased down by something, but oh well he's very much glad that he was wrong.

Anyhow since Clyde is now overlooking Gryosphere Valley, it gave him a chance to take a good look around for he hasn't been in this part of the island, which is a shame as he always wanted to ride in Gryosphere Valley. So from here on the hill: Clyde could see the monorail track on the mountain side, several fences that were torn apart in several areas, and most of all a hatch a few feet in front of him which really caught Clyde's attention.

Walking over to the hatch for a more closer look. Clyde sees that the hatch is circular, matched with a circular handle, and that it is attached to a building. Which is really great for this will get him out of the open, plus it'll give him a chance to have a nice well deserve rest after such a dramatic day. So grabbing hold of the hatch handle that with so much huff and puff, he turns it and opens it to reveal a ladder that's in a tube.

Placing a foot on the ladder, Clyde lowers himself down while grabbing hold of the bottom of the hatch and shuts it. After doing that, Clyde goes down the ladder before suddenly stopping as his foot stepped on midair, which nearly made him fall if he didn't take a tight grip on the handle, though it did startle him greatly.

Looking down to see how high he is, Clyde felt relief that the floor wasn't that far, so after getting himself lowered down enough to be a bit closer to the floor, Clyde drops himself down and landed on his feet. Once he adjusts himself, Clyde looks around to see several pipes, two desks with dark monitors, a closed off metal door, and perhaps the most striking feature is a long dark tunnel that Clyde is not interested exploring in. But by all other accounts this place is heavily secured enough to keep the dinosaurs out, which is exactly what Clyde needed for his well deserve rest, so he pulls up a chair that's at the desk near the tunnel and happily situates himself down on it where he felt at complete ease.

He'll have to go find Lincoln sometime soon as he must be very worried about him at the moment, he just hopes that Lincoln didn't get hurt wherever he is at right now or worse lost.

Hopefully he'll reunited with him and everything will be good. But soon after leaning his head down, Clyde shuts his eyes and before he knew it, he had fallen asleep.

The corpse of the mangled, male pachycephalosaurus slowly got dragged into the underbrush with visible quills sticking out of his chest.

Above him the predator that killed him, looked up in alarm as it detected a heat source. In a flash. The creature jumped and climbed to the top of a tree to scan around the area for the heat source. It eventually spots it's prey and immediately leaps away to ambush it.
