Vara Tribe: Day 22
We start this part off hot as Dante literally runs to the trio of women, sitting in the sand after doing some work around the camp.
"You're gonna hate this!" he shouts, which makes the three turn to him. "Are you okay?" asks Peach, with concern in her voice. "You won't be." he says, and Zelda turns to the princess. "Did he just threaten you?"
She doesn't get her answer cause Dante comes to a halt. "Slade's doing something." Ripley huffs. "When isn't he?"
"It's bad this time, he wants me on a silver platter."
After that reveal, he sits in the sand with them to drop more stuff. "Snake may be a villain to us but Slade's going to be a super one. If we kick him out now…" he suggests, as Ripley scoots closer. "Then we can just shut them out four to three next time." She doesn't just accept that and fights back. "They aren't going to trust him enough to stay with him. They will with Snake!"
"They'll end up trusting him anyway."
"Why?"
"Because…" begins Dante, who takes a quick look at Peach. "..He stepped into really hot $#|t. Here's what happened…" Ripley immediately sets a hand on her cheek.
Ripley: Stuff like this is why we wanted to boot him before five. He can't take his foot off the pedal!
We're back with Dante explaining to Peach what T'Challa said to him, but with a twist.
"…So Slade, like he does, spilled and told me that YOU had an idol after he was done spying on her." explains Dante, and Peach gasps, before a glare forms on her face. "Don't know if he just wanted a side deal or what, but I wasn't going to just con you like that."
Dante: It's all "I have your back," "you go girl," but I'm just jealous that idol isn't in my crusty pockets.
For Peach, this wasn't the last straw, but she was running out of them. "Why can't he just mind his own business?!" She exclaims, and Zelda and Ripley gesture for her to be quiet, and when she turns around to see Dylan looking at her like she's a cavewoman, she quiets down. He just ignores her and gets on his way.
When she decides to lower her voice, she just gets her frustration out. "Why would be even do this to us? He just got rid of Price and then just joins his side! What is he doing?" she asks, and Ripley has a quick reply. "Don't know what he's doing, but we do know he's leaving soon." Peach sets her hands on her hips, and makes eye contact with Dante. "I'm sor—"
"No need, we all came here to win two mil."
That confuses her for a second. "I—you're not upset?"
"Angry? Come on we're all going to slit each other in the end anyway."
She's left silent for a moment, but then the hit against her comes back.
Peach: Some of the power I have for myself, and he just tells all the guys about it! Dante's not angry sure but…I do to use it for me!
Ripley jumps back into the conversation before Peach blows up on someone. "Hear me out: I get we aren't his fans, but Snake can still do more damage to us. Dante, if you lose immunity he's coming for you anyways. You dominated the last challenge AND led the way against his friend." Dante nods at that. "Peach, Slade may have ratted you out, but Snake is a big threat alone when he KNOWS you have an idol…AND he has more jury votes."
"What can he do to my idol?"
"If desperate enough he could do anything."
Ripley: We had a simple plan, but then Slade has to mess it up…and even worse, Dante knows about the idol. He tried to play it cool, but I can see right through him.
Despite Ripley's protest, Dante still steps in. "Snake is a smart guy but we can't predict anything Slade's going to do. Oh yeah and he literally wants me gone." Peach jumps in as well. "He also betrayed me without cause! We understand Ripley, we really do, but Slade's just too much of a risk to keep around." Ripley takes these notes in again, and exhales through her nose.
"Slade really had to ruin it."
"The sooner he is gone, the better we will be." says Zelda, who gives her a warm smile. Ripley gives a half hearted smirk in return, with Peach watching the whole thing.
Peach: I hope she isn't upset because she got outvoted. It sucks but Slade is a headache right now!
Little did the majority know, that BURIED IN THE SAND close to them, was one Solid Snake.
Snake: They meet up at one spot because of how obvious the divide is. If you can't join em, beat 'em from the outside.
The group of four rises, headed off to eat. "I'm up for some hot, bland rice." jokes Dante as they leave. Ripley falls behind and turns around to see a lump in the sand. She squints, but to her, there couldn't be a whole person there.
Right?
Ripley: The sand doesn't even feel right today. I know Slade's deal and what he did but..think logically. Sure we're all running off of emotions but why should we give someone as vengeful as Snake time to breathe? We take our eyes off him once and he could come back and make us regret it.
—
Snake takes his lie to Slade, who is unaware of that. All he can think about is taking out another threat. "Dante caught you spying. He tried to play it off like once of us did but I could see the guilt."
"You are positive?"
"Positive, he was pushing for your name hard."
Slade huffs..as if he wasn't going nuts already. "He still must be threatened from our time on Vulsa." points out Slade, and the Metal Gear protagonist reaffirms him. "If Dante loses, we have your back. There's nobody else we can trust." pushes Snake, and while Snake was sneaky, he did have a point. "
In his confessional is sharpening two sticks.
Slade: Dante had a game of Loose Lips with my old "team" and now here we are. Seems Dante caught me in the act but used me as a scapegoat. Anything to save his skin, can't despise him for the move but only wish i wasn't caught…maybe then MY name wouldn't be out there.

Immunity Challenge
"Come on in!"
The eight Vara tribe members enter, another one down from the last challenge. Dante has the necklace around his neck, chest out and shoulders relaxed, as all eyes are on Jeff. The necklace stand is by his side, and he has one request…
"Dante, I'll be taking this back."
"Me too, Jeff."
He unhooks the necklace and hands it to Jeff, who takes it and hooks it onto the stand. When he's done, he faces the eight Vara. "Immunity is back up for grabs." One pat to the stand later, and Jeff is ready to explain. "For todays challenge, you will be split into 4 pairs of part is played in two stages. First, you'll have to crawl through a muddy, twisted net. The first two pairs to do so will move on to the last stage, where it becomes a free for all. In that free for all, you will dig for four planks. You will use those planks to make a rope bridge. When you reach the end, there will be a machete and a rope waiting for you, where a flag will roll down declaring you the winner. First person to slice the rope will win immunity, and be safe at tonight's Tribal Council."
With the rules explained…well, you know what time it is.
—
Pairs:
Snake and Peach
Zelda and Dylan
Slade and Ripley
T'Challa and Dante
—
After the prep period is over with, the castaways are in position, looking to taste sweet victory.
"Immunity on the line! Survivors ready? GO!"
This challenge is on.
At the start, T'Challa darts into the net, twisting and turning to make his path clearer. Zelda, Snake, and Slade keep up, however the Wakandan has the speed advantage. Snake smoothly starts twisting, this not being the most claustrophobic situation he's been in. Meanwhile, Zelda and Slade get into a little hold up, and try switching directions..however, this keeps them both behind. Dylan and Ripley cheer them on.
"Let's go girl, slay that net!"
"..Come on Slade!"
Slade just scoffs.
Ripley: If we lost, I wasn't complaining.
T'Challa has the lead and gets out of the net, leaving a twist behind for Dante to navigate! Dante heads in and gets to work! As for Snake, he untangles his path forward and leaves, a new tangle awaiting for Peach! She gets it, and has an easier time at the start, but due to her size, she starts to struggle at the center.
Meanwhile, Zelda and Slade near the end! They both untangle the last hurdle at roughly the same time, but Slade LEAPS out first and Ripley takes off into the net! Zelda hops out last, as Dylan heads straight for the net!
Peach looks to get out of her situation, but finds herself stuck as the mess Snake left behind may have been too much.
In her confession, she's still muddy.
Peach: Snake is usually precise, but sadly the one time he isn't is when he's partnered with me.
Dante meanwhile untangles near the end and heads out! With both members of their team out, both move on!
"Dante and T'Challa advance!"
Dante raises one hand, and T'Challa smacks it hard! "That's what we do!" shouts Dante, who turns to his partner. "Chest bump?" T'Challa steps back, as the men run at each other and jump, smacking their meat!
"Dante and T'Challa, just won the lottery."
While they celebrate, the second round is still ongoing. Snake encourages Peach as she gets closer to the end. "Only a few more to untie!" he says, and Peach pushes on. Meanwhile, Dylan and Ripley compete to see who has a fighting chance against Peach up there. Unfortunately for Dylan, he has bad luck and finds himself tangled, mud splashing on his face!
He spits a chunk out, and starts shouting. "This is giving me anxiety, Jeff!"
"Good, this is how we do it on Survivor!"
Dylan: If you're looking for a therapist, don't call Jeff.
Ripley though is having better luck, making her way through the net muddy and all.
Ripley has some mud on her in confession.
Ripley: I've went toe to toe with aliens. That net can trigger claustrophobia sure but it's easy to keep my cool on Earth.
Peach is nearing the end, however Ripley is catching up quickly. Snake crouches down in anticipation, and Slade taps his foot as Ripley nears the end. Both are very close now, as Snake and Slade shout at their partners!
"You got this!"
"Hurry up!"
Snake sideyes the Stroker of Death, who just ignores him.
Snake: Now he's lost common courtesy. This island is taking everything from him.
In the end, after being neck and neck…
Peach escapes first! She rushes to the mat and gives Snake a hug! Ripley escapes next, but already knows she's lost.
"Snake and Peach advance!"
She jumps up and down excited, while Snake remains as still as possible. "We did it!" Snake slowly pushes himself away.
Snake: She has good energy, I'm just not a hug guy.
Ripley and Slade just look on, defeated. Slade grumbles to himself while Ripley lightly pats his back. "We'll get 'em next time." Slade just steps to the side after that.
Ripley: My job here is done…besides, Peach needed it, it's been a rough few days.
Snake, Peach, T'Challa, and Dante turn around to see four seperate rectangles filled with sand. The next round is set to begin…
—-
Free For All
The remaining four are ready to rush in and start digging deep.
"Winner safe tonight! Survivors ready? GO!"
They take off, with T'Challa at the forefront. Snake, Dante, and Peach are pretty much tied for 2nd. The Panther digs quickly and finds a couple of planks! Following him is Dante who finds a plank, before quickly finding another!
Meanwhile Snake and Peach dig and both end up finding their first plank! Snake stretches his body out to cover more room, and collides with his second plank!
T'Challa finds his third! Dante starts kicking his feet in the sand and a third one rises from the sand! They both dig for their last one and…
T'Challa finds his first!
Dante finds his second!
Both men take off towards the rope bridge, with a muddy T'Challa keeping his lead! Dante clicks his tongue once while he runs.
A muddy Dante speaks in confession.
Dante: I have a love-hate relationship with his speed.
In the back, Peach finds her second plank! Snake digs in and finds his third! Peach snags her third plank, but not before Snake finds his last one! He takes off with the other two ahead of him…after a few more seconds Peach finds her last one! She dashes to the next stage!
We get back to our front runners, with T'Challa two planks on the bridge. He lifts the plank behind him and adds it to his stack. He places the third plank and leaps on that, taking his second plank into his collection. As for Dante, he just now hops onto his second plank, collecting the first plank behind him. He sets his third plank down and gets to that, collecting his second plank…he looks ahead to T'Challa..
…who is ON his last plank, with another immunity win in his sights!
Meanwhile, Snake and Peach are on their first plank, but slow down when they see T and D so far ahead…
It looks like a win for T'Challa, who leaps to the platform at the end with all three planks in hand! Dante gets a close-up view as he prepares to jump on his final plank…
…but it goes wrong for T'Challa, as when he goes to pick up his last plank, it falls down onto the net below! His eyes narrow, knowing he has to start over! As for the viewer in Dante, he wastes no time and picks up his third plank behind him! He leaps on the platform, and spins around to pick up his final plank!
With Dante at the end, all he has to do is walk over and cut the rope. He makes his way there, grabs the rope, and chops it, as a banner with the word "Immunity" rolls down and reveals itself!
"DANTE WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"
The winner leaps off his platform onto the net, and rolls over towards Jeff and the necklace stand. Everyone else drops their things and makes their way over as well. Once Dante arrives, Jeff wraps the necklace around him, for the second time. With that ritual done, Jeff gets on with the day.
"Congratulations Dante, you cannot be voted out at tonight's Tribal Council." compliments Jeff, who's face turns cold when he faces the rest of the cast. "As for the rest of you, Tribal Council tonight, where one of you will join the jury. Head back to camp, I'll see you there." With that notice out, the eight castaways head back to camp together, with bad thoughts flowing in one Slade's head.
Slade: This is my worst day out here. Price can be picked off like a fly but our precious Dante has to stay safe…what a joke.

Vara Tribe
The first talk we see about the vote relates to Dylan's place in all of this. He and T'Challa are drinking from coconuts, and when he swallows the juice, he brings it up. "How many times are we doing this?"
"Doing what?"
"Being the tiebreakers. It was cool at first but now it's just getting stressful." he admits. "I don't trust Slade. Don't see him actually staying with us, he's a edgy, brooding, and mysterious lone wolf." T'Challa hums lightly. "I wouldn't say 'edgy' just way too serious." he responds, before scooting closer to Dylan. "I feel that's not all though. You said you didn't like rock draws." Dylan blows raspberry. "I've seen them go down, and they always bite who you least expect." he explains. "Aaand the other sides not worried about me like you or Snake. You feel me?"
T'Challa just chuckles at this. "I understand. You can't predict luck."
T'Challa: You can't predict luck but a draw gives us a fighting chance. I only wish Dylan would be able to take a risk. The risk against Wade wasn't great in the long run but this draw is the best shot we have at survival.
Dylan takes another sip. "So, do they still hate Slade?" he asks, and a smile form on T'Challa's face. "Let's just say he's the public enemy once again." Dylan's brows furrow. "I know you two said you would pin it against him but what exactly did you say?" he asks again, and the Wakandan confesses to him. "Snake lied to Slade, said Dante caught him spying. He also went into the sand."
"The sand? Thought it would be the tree from earlier."
"Snake is…Snake."
The king clears his throat and goes on. "But i also told Dante that Slade spied, and that's how it all started. They'll be pointing their guns at each other tonight."
T'Challa: If Dylan doesn't draw, then Slade will be catching a bullet. Knowing where he's at right now, he might just jump into one.
Dylan high fives T'Challa, and their nut drinking continues. "Good move dude." he comments. While the rock draw was certain, what wasn't certain is where Slade's headspace is at.
Dylan: It's either i draw my rock or draw my gun on Slade. I was shaky before that talk but after it? It's really making sense.
—
Speaking of the tank of Gotham, later in the day he roasts chicken on a pan. Snake, T'Challa, and Dylan sit by his side as he cooks.
"Since Dante is safe again, we can cut down the women. Remember, Peach only has half of the idol." notes Slade. "We knew that." retorts Dylan, who catches the eyes of Deathstroke. "AND maybe we could…extort one of them."
"That won't work."
Dylan frowns, but goes on. "We could try that and just…draw rocks as a backup plan." Slade looks at him deadpan.
Slade: Dylan has the weakest mind in the game. Those four are solid, I've seen them more! HOW can you miss that?
The teen catches that look, and glares at him. "What? Just a suggestion." he states, but Slade just groans in frustration. "You don't get it, those four aren't leaving. WE are the enemy, why can't you see that?" He asks, getting to his feet now, setting his bowl down. "Then again, you are the youngest. The lack of calories is messing with you."
Dylan cocks his head. "Messing with ME? Dude you need to take a look in the mirror." Slade only responds with a grunt. "I just wanted to pitch an idea and you're talking down to me, but yeah, I'm messed up." Slade spins his body around, and puffs out his chest. "We don't think on the same level. I know they are closer than you think. We have no clue who holds the other half, so we can't extort anyone right now."
"But you can stab them and go scorched earth, gotcha."
"No…"
Snake and T'Challa watch as tensions begin to rise.
Snake: We are falling apart. I may have a grudge against T'Challa, but we can still team up…those two? Nowhere close.
Back to the argument, Slade starts pulling out more points. "I went there to save myself, it's preservation, you would do the same if you had the chance." he argues, and Dylan snaps back. "We're not talking about gameplay, we are talking about treatment..and talking to me like a KID is just BAD!" Slade scoffs. "I'm not talking to you like that."
"You explained stuff I already know."
"You still use the word 'stuff.'*
The Panther rolls his eyes.
T'Challa: One minute these two are smart and the next they are arguing. I can't say much about this but the bickering just needs to end. This is what happens when we have too much peace.
The cat takes action and steps between the two, and makes an effort to de-escalate. "This fixes nothing!
"He needs to make a choice already!"
"We will just talk it out again!"
Slade looks the Wakandan up and down. "Talk it out? This isn't a casual walk down the street this is prime time. If you don't make a good choice, we'll all go down in flames." he vents, and Snake crosses his arms at that remark. Slade takes one more look at Dylan. "We may clash but make a good call in spite of that."
He heads out doing god knows what. The three men watch him leave, with Dylan making one last comment:
"Don't tell me what to do."
Dylan: Very ballsy to just say that to the guy who wants to save you! You know, I wanted to give him a chance, but he may just be too far gone at this point, he is leaning towards Mental Patient right now.
—
Cut to later in the day, where the five are carrying extra bamboo from the wilderness. On the way there, Ripley keeps her gaze straight ahead. The call the alliance made was bothering her.
Ripley: Sure, we can just take out Slade now, but the more we keep around people like Snake and T'Challa, the bigger of a chance they have at winning out.
Dante decides to show off by casually carrying the bamboo with one hand instead of hoisting it up like the rest of them. Slade mutters to himself and does the exact same thing..Dante catches this and turns an eye to him.
"We need to have a lifting contest." he comments, which just puzzles the DC villain. "..What? I just need to find out who's the strongest." he says with a grin, and Slade just shakes his head. "..What are we lifting?"
"…anything."
"…nice."
The women stay quiet, and Dante gulps down some nice, bland saliva.
Dante: It's awkward with him now. Yeah he finally decides to play with everyone but it's right when he strapped a bomb to his chest.
They come to a halt and lay the bamboo on the ground. Slade pops a question on them. "Are we eliminating Snake?" he asks. "We were thinking about T'Challa since he's their beast, but we need to cut the brains off." answers Dante. "Both of them have brains, but Snake has more jury votes. Might as well send another threat to jury." adds Ripley, and Slade looks her dead in the eyes. "Then we take out T'Challa next, leaving poor Dylan all alone."
Ripley has a stone faced look. "Yeah, but if he has an idol, Dylan has to go." With that lie stated, Slade turns away, taking a seat. "I've been moving all day, it's time I get some rest.." he says, laying down on his back. "Go on without me."
"Better get to sleep before the storm hits." says Dante, who rises. After him, Peach rises. "Watch out for parasites!" she warns, and those two head out. Zelda and Ripley wave goodbye, before leaving as well.
After everyone in his "alliance" leaves, Slade sets his eyes on a certain woman's bag.
Slade: I wouldn't resist temptation. Not like this. I get an advantage and Snake gets the blame? That is what money sounds like.
He jumps at the bit and heads for the bag! Digging through, he finds a few things: First, a crown with rust on it. "Why would you dirty up an item like this?" he asks himself, before putting it back and pulling out a second item: a mushroom. He just plants that back in immediately. "This is the worst time for that." he says to himself, before grasping what feels like a moon…
He pulls the item out and it's her half! He takes a look to his left and right, nobody in sight!
Slade: My plan was perfect, down to even the silence…until someone had to come back and throw a bullet into it!
Before he can get away with the heist though, he hears leaves crunch nearby. Thinking quickly, he sets the idol back instead, swings the lid back on and "calmly" walks out…
The source of the steps came from Peach, who sees him leaving the shelter and waves at him. He waves back and heads out, as Peach makes her way to her bag. "Almost left something…" she says to herself, but that's quickly forgotten when she opens her bag to see the half idol at the TOP…
She gasps, and leans over the shelter wall to see Slade GONE. It didn't take long for Peach to add up what happened…
Peach: We didn't want him to know we were coming for him because of THIS! He was out of line before but after he tried to take what I found? He's going to get grilled!
She snatches her bag and heads out, looking to spill to her number one ally..
—
Peach pulls Zelda aside in the woods, spilling everything she saw.
"Why can't people just leave property alone?" asks Zelda, with one hand on her cheek. "We weren't going to cause him trouble but that won't be tolerated." Her annoyance is clear to the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. "If we can just take him down tonight, we won't have to worry about his antics any more."
Zelda: We do not need another Wario at this camp. Slade always thought he was a top dog, but the only thing he will be is eliminated.
The two leave their private area and hop back on the trail, with the points for the coming battle entering their minds.
Peach: He will learn what Wario did: Never mess with a Princess.
—
As the sun lowers, Snake and Dylan sit together inside a tree, a slow day for the spying business.
"We need to get back on our feet, Dylan. I know you two (he and Slade) are on shaky ground but you need to patch it up so we can stay in this for the long haul." argues Snake. "None of us want to get picked off." That's when Dylan rubs an eye with his hand. "Yeah but he—I'm just pissed off man." Snake exhales through his nose. "You have a right to feel that way…but.."
"There it is."
"We have to keep him for a fighting chance. Besides nobody really trusts the guy, we can just take him out later if we survive this."
Dylan stays silent for a few moments. "But what if he jumps back, he can just say "That Dylan needs to go." Snake shakes his head. "They'll come after me before they come after you. Even if I'm safe, T'Challa will bite the bullet." he states looking to reason with the teen. "You have nothing to worry about, but if we kick out Slade right now, we all will have to worry." he ends it off with that..
..and now it's Dylan's time to think yet again. He does point out one thing though. "But you and T'Challa can bicker and it's all just fine?" Snake sets a hand on his shoulder. "We may not like it, but the three of us? We are our only defense. He's a part of it. You and Slade aren't as close, that's why I'm worried."
That point does click with Dylan, but he still has an inner battle.
Dylan: Love those guy, but Slade put me off. Whenever i was swinging around at least the people in trouble didn't talk to me like that! If I don't draw rocks tonight, it's on him. If I do, then my head beat my heart.
—
Tribal Council: Night 22
The eight Vara members arrive to the Tribal Council area with their torches. The fire pit is there, and so is Jeff sitting in front of his podium across from the stumps.
"Dip your torches into the fire. Fire represents your life, and when it's gone, so are you."
They dip them in, as Skarlet, Wade, and the newest member John Price sit across from them on the jury bench. He gives a mini-salute, and Snake returns it, taking a seat along with everyone else.
With that out of the away, Jeff kicks off Tribal.
"Welcome back to another night here at Tribal Council, and someone's has to join them over there!" opens Jeff, gesturing towards the three jury members. "Zelda, has anything changed since the last time you were here?"
Zelda takes a few noticeable seconds to respond, but when she does, the event's intensity rockets off the bat. "It has. I can spill it what what was said, Jeff." That gets to the host's curiosity…"We have all night." He responds.
On the jury bench, Wade leans close to Price. "What's the tea?" he asks, and Price whispers back to him "Maybe another idol, those always get in the way." Skarlet nods in agreement on that.
Zelda starts spilling tea all over the set. "An hour ago Peach informed me that SLADE went through her bag!" she exclaims, and Slade snaps his head towards her. "If that's true why doesn't Peach just jump in herself?" he asks. "Because Jeff asked ME if anything changed. I'm just answering his question is all." she responds, which makes Slade groan.
"Speaking of me, let me add to this." says Peach, who points a finger at Slade. "You didn't have to spy on me, privacy is very important!" she exclaims, and Slade just brushes it off. "I knew that, I just didn't care." Price's brows shoot up, Skarlet snickers, and Wade rolls his eyes. Catching those looks, Slade lets it out. "What? It's an open house!"
"An open secret that cost you the game, but whatever." mutters Peach, and Slade just glares at her. "What was that?" "Not your idol." retorts Peach, and Slade raises himself at that. "You list—" that's when Dante cuts him off. "YOU listen. All you've done is pick up a nice, clean shovel and bury yourself. Let's run down a list: you spied on her, ran to the other team, and thought you could pull of a tie." he states, before going on. "Do you think those guys are just going to let you walk in and start giving orders?" he asks.
Wade starts silently applauding from the bench, as Skarlet and Price just look at one another, knowing that they may have to hear the conflict again themselves.
That remark from Dante though makes Slade turn to the men. He leans in and starts whispering to Snake.
"Are we good?"
"You will, we won't be."
Slade gets out of his face and starts to raise his voice. "To the men on my side tonight, remember what we came here to do. Peach has power and if we can tie and take out one of them, she's weaker. Can't hurt us." declares Slade, and T'Challa mutters "We know." He just goes on though. "She's one of the four who lied to me, I have a reason to stay loyal to you.." he stares at Dylan, who just glimpses back. "She has more jury votes, more strength, and more numbers than me. So if you keep her tonight, you are fighting a losing battle."
Zelda jumps in immediately, looking past Slade and to the men. "Are you going to trust the biggest liar on the island? Earlier he told me we were good to go, but we knew the whole time he was against us. He will invade your privacy, he will turn against you, and if it benefits him…he will flip. Just like tonight.." she campaigns, giving the villain a death glare. "Besides, even if we have to draw rocks, he'll be here to cause trouble another day." she ends, turning to face Jeff next. The host, seeing all this go down, faces Slade. "Anything else?…"
"…nothing."
Jeff nods, and turns to Dylan next. "Dylan..it's Zelda versus Slade, what do YOU think about this, because one of the people on the line looked RIGHT AT YOU?" he asks. "The bag search just reminds me of a slob we had to deal with, but it didn't go too well. But taking our Wario? That was easy, we didn't even have to do much…but him?" he says, turning to Slade. "Not so easy, it's like jumping from Algebra to Calculus, it's a step up and harder to find an answer." T'Challa nods with a smirk at that analogy, putting a hand on Dylan's shoulder.
"I dunno, just thought of it."
"Corny or not, you hit it on the head."
The two friends face Jeff, who asks T'Challa a question. "You agree with him, what do you think he means?" asks the host. "It's not just a early vote anymore, it's a big deal. Four against four, and even if he can be annoying…" admits T'Challa, and Slade lets out a sigh. "..we may need to keep him around. The biggest question is, is everyone onboard? That's what it comes down to." ends the Panther, and Jeff makes one last remark on that topic.
"We'll see what it comes down to, because it is time to vote. Slade, you're up first."
Slade quickly leaves his stump and storms to the voting booth.
—
Slade: One of my biggest regrets in life, was sparing you. (Zelda)
Zelda: If I go home despite everything you've done, this is rigged. (Slade)
Dante: You were killing it at the start, but all you're doing now is just killing yourself. Go take a nap. (Slade)
Dylan: ..Why is it always me? (?)

After all of that voting is done and over with, the tribe members get to their stumps, taking a seat during their wait.
"I'll go tally the votes.." With those words, he leaves his podium and goes straight to the booth. He takes the voting urn, and heads back to his podium. Setting it down, vote reads are about to begin.
"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol, and they would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.." Everyone takes a look at Peach, who raises both hands. "Not playing it." she states, and that just makes everyone look around at each other, a few hoping the other half would reveal themselves. T'Challa stays quiet, and after a few seconds..no idol play.
"I'll read the votes.."
Slade and Zelda look on, Peach resting a hand on Zelda's shin, and Slade with nobody. "First vote…"
— Slade.
— Zelda.
— Slade.
— Zelda.
— Slade.
— Zelda. That's three votes Slade, three votes Zelda, two votes left…
— Slade. That's four votes Slade, three votes Zelda, one vote left..
Slade stares daggers at Dylan, who doesn't even look at him.
"Eleventh person voted out of Survivor: Maldives Madness, and the fourth member of our jury, Slade. Bring me your torch."
He grabs his torch and rises, walking past the men and over to Jeff. He turns around one last time, and looks at Dylan. "Seems T'Challa is the golden child." Dylan frowns, before shrugging his shoulders. "What a baby." Slade glares at him, before turning back to Jeff. He sets his torch down.
"Get it over with."
Jeff remains stoic, and raises his snuffer.
"Slade, the tribe has spoken."
He snuffs his torch. Slade leaves with no comment, as Dante has a smile on his face. Snake and T'Challa exchange actual worries glances, and Dylan can't help but smirk at that snuff. Peach and Zelda smile, and Ripley is still really stoic. With Slade gone and out of view, Jeff turns to the castaways, and makes a final comment.
"Slade talked about golden children, turns out he isn't one. Head back to camp, have a good night."
The now seven remaining castaways grab their torches and head into the night, another two days down and another few days ahead…days defined by desperation.

Slade's Final Words
Slade: Dylan is a coward. It's simple. Thanks to him listening to his emotions I'm sitting on the jury and have to deal with another trainwreck..maybe Skarlet and Price can make this bearable.
