Jack was pulled from sleep when he smelled strawberry pancakes. Opening his blue eyes Jack looked around him, and he didn't recognized where he was, "Hello," Jack called out.

"Morning, Mate," Bunny voice came.

Jack followed the voice to what looked like kitchen to see the Pooka making breakfast. North sat at the table, "How are you feeling, Jack?"

"Trying to help if I make mess I should help clean it," Jack said, "Mom, always said that."

"Smart woman," Bunny said when he saw the box the North gave Jack, "What that?" Bunny nodded to the wooden box that was on the table.

"I had some things in my pockets when I went to North's," Jack explained, "I had to remove my hoodie for the yeti to see to my wounds and I didn't want to lose anything. So North gave me the box to keep them in so I wouldn't lose them."

"Well you have remove you hoodie again," Bunny dried his paws leading him to the couch, "I got some suave that might help with the pain if you're in any."

"I'm just a little sore," Jack sighed slight as Bunny gave him a look, giving up Jack took off his hoodie.

Bunny saw all the scars that covered Jack's body. Bruised at different stages of healing, "I won't tell North, but you said the name Isabella."

Jack's blue eyes grew wide, "I can't believe I forgot about her," tears fell down his check, "She was the one," a tear fell from Jack eye that he wiped away before they froze.

"The one?" Bunny got the suave out as he unwrapped his chest, "Aren't a little young to find that?"

Jack smiled, "Bunny I might look young, but if you count my age as a spirit and add it then to my human years I'm 319."

"You were 18 when you were turned into spirit?" Bunny was surprised.

"Something like that," Jack winced when Bunny pushed gently on a broken rib.

"Do you know what happened to her?" Bunny asked.

"You promised not to tell anybody," Jack look serious.

"I promise, Jack."

"I was engaged to marry her," Jack shocked him, "It was our wedding day. I was a church. She was coming down the aisle on her father's arm. When out nowhere there was a gunshot. There was a shock look her face then I saw red blooming on her dress. I ran up to her and knelt next to her. I had her in my arms when she looked at me and she said she loved me and then she was gone," Bunny just looked at Jack with his green eyes wide.

"I was married once," Bunny finally said, "Rose was her name," putting suave on some of Jack darker bruise, "I was helping my father with something. That when I saw some fearlings coming out of nowhere and heard Pitch's laughter. My thought were to get to Rose make she was safe. When I got back to my den it was too late."

"Pitch is an ass," Jack started, "That insulting donkeys right," the both laughed as Bunny nodded.

"Can I ask you what Isabella looked like?" Bunny asked.

"Can you hand me the box?" was all Jack said.

Bunny did, "When I got my memories back. Tooth said some would come back slower than others, and I should right in a journal or something so I can write thing down. I get like short film cuts she calls it," he opened the box, "A few day ago I asked North for parchment paper and charcoal. The man looked confused," Jack took out folded paper, "I asked Phil if there was something to it so the charcoal wouldn't smug," handed Bunny the parchment,

Bunny gently took the paper and unfolded it and saw a hand drawn picture of lovely young woman, "Wow," he sat down next to Jack. She fits her name."

Jack smiled, "I didn't have any color but that thick curly hair was bright red and her eyes where midnight blue. I loved the freckles on her face. She could easily get a sunburn so she had a bonnet during sunny days."

"Do you know who hurt her?" Bunny asked handed the picture to Jack.

Jack's blue eyes went ice cold eyes and nodded. The look on Jack's face told Bunny he didn't want to talk about it. Bunny hurried off and went to is den and grabbed something and returned to Jack and showed him a snapshot, "This is my, Rose."

The doe had light brown fur with rose marking on her forehead, "I don't much about Pooka, but I can tell by her eyes. She was a lovely being."

"Keep my secret and I'll keep yours," Jack help out a hand.

"Deal," shook hands, Jack handed photo back to Bunny, who placed it on the table, "Let get your bandages back on. I think I have sketch pad you can use."

Jack knew that Bunny and him had some kind of bond, "Do think if I ever need to talk about Isabella or Mary, my sister, and if you ever need to talk to Rose. We can talk to each other."

Bunny finish Jack's wrap, "Jack, I'm not the kind of person to talk about things."

"I understand," Jack put his sketch back the box the North gave him and picked it up and his staff, "Which tunnel leads to Burgess?"

Bunny wanted to say something more to Jack showed him the tunnel, "You need help."

"No I can make it back to my place," Jack started, "Have a good Easter," Jack left.
