Chapter 27: A duel of two dragons

3rd POV

"Is this safe to stand around with no barrier?"

"No Asia, it is not." Kiba answers

"Then why are we standing here?" Asia ask everyone

There is the silence after Asia says this before someone answers her.

"Because we are idiots, who want to properly see a fight between two hot head dragons?" Yuki points out

Everyone stands in silence once again. But a second later they all shake their head in agreement.

Each clash and clang of swords and armor going against each other sent shockwaves around the town. Each piece of clothing the two dragons wore was now under distress as vali's balance breaker armor was in tatters and cracked, and Issei's dragon-form clothes and skin had scars and tears for the whole world to see.

Vali brings his fist to Isseis's face, but it does little to no damage to Issei's body. Issei smirks and uses his hands to grasp Vali and squeeze the life out of him, but vali thought this would happen.

Vali quickly starts to divide Issei's energy, and issei quickly lets go of vali, and takes multiple steps backwards.

Vali smirks at this, and issei clenches his fist in anger.

A giant dragon form of Issei swings his fist toward vali, in which vali puts up a valiant effort to block it. But issei's overwhelming strength, sends Vali soaring toward the ground.

Vali quickly spins out of it and sends a powerful blast right back at Issei. Issei attempts to use his chaotic magic, but Vali knows this will happen, and he quickly started to divide it. Issei roars in anger at his power being taken and let's lose and a torrent of flames. It douses the area with fire and vali has nowhere to land and is forced to stay in the air, But this is what issei wanted.

"YOU DUMBASS!"

A fist the size of a house hits vali, and with the strength of a trillion suns behind it, it sends vali deep into the dirt.

"HAHAHAHA"

The dragon continues to boast, as he had been doing the whole fight before. But what he doesn't see is Vali continuing to stand in his deep crater, along with a newfound sword, made of pure demonic energy. And with his level of magic, it could slice a hole through dimensions.

Vali bursts forward bringing his sword up to his nose, lets out a mighty yell, and swings it into issei's stomach. Issei hits the ground, and his size decreases to normal.

Vali soars down and smirks at him, but Issei doesn't move.

Suddenly a bright light fills the area, and soon black magic soars around Issei as he begins to transform.

Vali growls at this. Seems he's gonna have to go all out today after all.

Vali quickly transforms into his Juggernaut drive. But rather than a giant dragon, it seems he changed his look once again.

All he had was blue scales on his arms and calves. Along with blue hair.

Vali brings his hands together and sends 30 blasts towards Issei, but issei is able to mauver away from almost all of them, but one.

Vali bursts through the air, grab the ball of magic, thrust it into his stomach, and he spits out blood. But vali doesn't leave him anytime to gather himself, as he delivers a devastating elbow to issei's stomach. Rocketing the boy towards the dirt.

But issei being the master of magic he is, uses it to steady himself in the air, and land perfectly on the ground. But looks out of breath due to the strength of the attack he had just taken.

Issei sounds his hands with black magic before a sword of pure chaos energy is formed, just like vali's demonic magic sword from before.

Issei blasts off at Vali, and before vali can even see him, he feels a slash go across his left cheek. He moves his body out of the way from another strike to the left of him. Issei continues his onslaught of attacks and before you know it, Vali has multiple gashes across his body. He roars in anger before an explosion of blue magic is sent into the air, pushing issei away from vali.

Issei lands on the ground once again, but after this exchange, he has a smirk on his face. Vali lowers to the ground and grits his teeth and lets his aura surround him.

Isseis black magic flows around him. And before Vali can even move toward him, he is blasted by the energy.

He coughs up blood and flies backward, and issei flies forward toward him. Vali sees this and flips out of the way and sends multiple blasts his way.

Issei uses his chaos magic to absorb the blast vali sent and send it right back toward him.

Vali just divides the magical blast right back into his energy, like it never left.

Issei looks surprised for a moment before blasting off towards him once more. Sending a right hook towards his head, vali blocks it, but not before grunting in obvious pain at the strength of the strike. In retaliation, Vali sends his left leg towards isseis ribs' but rather than block it, Issei decides to let it happen so he can create space. But he underestimated the strength of the kick.

The kick sends issei rolling deep into the forest, Stopping just before a large tree, but that tree doesn't stand there much longer as vali sends a multitude of magical spheres toward the demi-god.

Issei pulls out as much chaos magic as he can from Konton and himself, before releasing it as a sphere around him.

Issei's magic works in absorbing the blast, but with the extreme amount of energy used up, he doesn't have long left to battle. But it doesn't seem like he's the only one.

Vali is huffing and puffing just 60 meters away from the resident demigod and is keeping his hands on his knees, showing obvious pain from using too much energy. This new version of juggernaut drive uses far too much energy. He still needs to work on it.

Issei disperses the barrier and falls to a knee. Breathing is extremely heavy, the same as Vali.

Both knew they only had one more shot at defeating each other, as they didn't have much left in them.

Issei stands up tall and roars as he brings out the full powers of a demigod, as black magic, and a bright golden glow burst around him, creating a mixture of the two for an aura. Putting his hands in the air, building an assortment of chaos magic and godly magic.

Vali stands up but is a bit wobbly before straightening himself. He closes his eyes before an explosion of blue and white energy surrounds the dragon. He quickly builds the rest of his power up and puts his hands in front of him. Creating a condensed ball of pure demonic magic.

Issei uses the last of his energy and right before he pushes out his blast, he shouts to the world.

"DRAGON GOD SECRET ART: ENCHANTING FLAMES OF DESTRUCTION!"

Vali keeps his hands out forward, and the blue blast grows even smaller, and he shouts out.

"WHITE DRAGON DIVIDING BURST"

But before the two blasts could hit each other, there's a demonic yell that forces the two to stop their actions.

"STOP OR THIS WHOLE SOLAR SYSTEM WILL BE DESTROYED!"

And before the two blasts could engage each other, they quickly dissipate, back into the attacker's body. And both combatants take a knee from the exertion of the quick battle.

"Lucky I caught you two before you blew the entire planet to smithereens! But what a good battle, I didn't expect Vali to be able to match Issei in every way."

Vali gets off his knees and takes a seat on the ground to catch his breath, before asking.

"What the hell are you doing here satan king?"

There in front of vali and issei, was sirzechs, in a long white robe, with his normal red hair shining and sitting in the middle of his back.

"Well, I had business with Rias, so she brought along the other girls from her peerage to come with her. And with Koneko's ability to sense all types of magic and Ki, she was able to sniff out you two and tell Rias. And we showed up here." Sirzechs points out

Vali then looks behind Sirzechs and sees the girls helping Issei up like he's a damn baby. How the hell did he get a harem?!

Vali slowly stands up to his feet, before walking over to issei. Issei stands ready to attack but is surprised when vali offers his hand.

"That was a great match, I thought you were weaker than that, but you proved me wrong. You must've been training hard!" Vali says. It seems like his lust for battle has been controlled for the day.

Issei shakes his hand with Vali while saying "Thanks man, sorry I disrespected you. I didn't think you would train after a boost like that, but I was wrong. Your power is incredible."

Sirzechs smiles at the two before clapping his hands, addressing the issue he had to deal with the girls.

"Yes, yes that's all great, but there is another issue still at hand. The reason I was meeting with the girls is quite important."

"Well get on with it," Vali says

"Jeez, this generation's white dragon is so pushy. Ahem, well there seems to have been a particular person who broke out of prison some days ago. I'm sure you all remember Kokabiel?"

"KOKABIEL? He broke loose…How in the world is this possible?" Vali questions

Sirzechs puts his hands to his mouth before saying.

"Nobody is sure, but we are sure he will be coming back for revenge soon. We just don't know how soon…"

While everyone looks worried, there's one voice who is in complete control of his emotions.

"HAHAHA, great, another chance to prove myself in battle. Kokabiel was strong some years ago, but now he is nothing compared to us. I would love the chance to do battle with him!" Issei shouts

It seems some of Jamal, and Vali has rubbed off of Issei.

The group calms down at isseis words of assurance, but sirzechs is still quiet. It doesn't seem like anyone noticed though.

Everyone begins to use their magic to fix the forest up and they begin to make their way back to the house, but sirzechs still stands back there, in silence. Before he waves goodbye to rias and her peerage, he whispers to himself.

"It'd be a shame if they found out about his recent actions…No this is a matter we leaders should take care of. There shall be no more pressure put on these kids!" And with that, he walks through a portal, back to hell.

Leaving the teens without the knowledge of the tree of might being taken.

HEY GUYS, ITS BEEN SOME TIME HASN'T IT? SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT, COLLEGE HAS BEEN KICKING MY BUTT. Along with American football, taking 3/4 of my days. Which is why this chapter is shorter than most of my other ones. This chapter is just about The sparing match between the dragons. But the next chapter will be getting back to the thickness of the plot! Also, I have begun the work of writing another story! But this is an original story, with a new plot and new characters. I'll be posting it on Wattpad, and maybe on an Article of our own. I'll release it probably around late November, or December. So if you wanna check that out, it'll be called, The Hero of the Zera! I'm not done with this story, but I am getting quite close to the end. So I want to begin another story.
