Annabeth Held On As Giant Waves Smashed Against The Argo 2. The Rest Of The Crew Was Trying To Keep The Venti Away From Percy As He Fought The Monster. Tentacles Reached Out And Grabbed At The Oars. The Coach Was Smacking Them With His Baseball Bat, But It Wasn't Working. Percy Yelled And Hit The Tentacles With Water Ropes. Every Time A New One Popped Up Percy Would Smack It Back Down.
He Was So Distracted By Saving The Oars That He Didn't Notice The Tentacle Coming Up From Behind Him. "Percy! Behind You!" Annabeth Yelled, But It Was Too Late. The Tentacle Grabbed Percy And His Water Ropes Splashed Down Onto The Deck. He Screamed And Tried To Use The Water But His Arms Were Pinned. "Percy!" She Screamed. She Watched In Horror As Percy Was Taken Overboard And Into The Sea.
As Soon As Percy Disappeared, The Waves Stopped And The Venti Disappeared. Annabeth Screamed And Ran To The Edge To Looked Over, But Percy Was Gone. "No! No!" She Screamed. She Sat Down On The Floor And Cried. Piper Came Up To Her, Sat Down, And Hugged Her. Annabeth Turned And Cried Into Her Shoulder. "Why, Why Him?" She Sobbed. Piper Hugged Her. "I Don't Know, But I Do Know This, We Are Going To Get Him Back. I Promise."
The Rest Of The Crew Came Over. "I Bet They Attacked Us To Kidnap Percy," Frank Said. Jason Knelt Next To Piper And Annabeth. Annabeth Looked At Him. "We'll Find Him." Jason Stood Up And Turned To Leo. "Where Did You Put The Venties That We Captured?" Leo Pointed To 3 Canisters. "In There. Why?" Jason Nodded. "I'm Going To Go Down There And Find Him." He Turned To Frank. "Could You Come? You Could Change Into Something That Can Swim. I'll Need Your Help." Frank Nodded. "Sure."
Annabeth Frowned. "I'm Coming Too." Everyone Turned To Look At Her. "Are You Sure Annie?" Piper Asked. Annabeth Nodded. "I Want To Help." Jason Nodded. "Ok. I Think I Can Hold Together Two Venties." Annabeth Shook Her Head. "Poseidon Will Help Me. You Need To Focus On Yourself And Fighting." Leo Looked At Her. "Are You Sure He Will Help You?" Annabeth Nodded. "We're Going After His Son And My Boyfriend. He Is Going To Help Me."
