Chapter 1 - Leaving Privet Drive
It was a warm summers day where most people are out relaxing in the sun, but were this was happening, something down on a little street in Surrey was where this was not happening. At number 4, Privet Drive, while his so called family were out in the garden enjoying the weather, a skinny 14-year- old boy could be seen hard at work. This was Harry Potter, the saviour of the wizarding world. Harry had only finished his fourth year at Hogwarts. Still suffering from the traumatic experience of the 3rd task in the triwizard tournament were the return of voldemort and the death of Cedric Diggory has been haunting Harry's nightmares for the past 2 weeks.
But the one shinning light that has helped our hero, is the memory of platform 93/4 were his best friend gave Harry a kiss on the cheek. Ever since that moment, Harry has been questioning his feelings for the bushy haired girl. One thing that has pleased Harry this summer was the full use of his loyal pet owl, Hedwig. With this freedom, Harry has been constantly sending letters to his friends, with keeping him updated with any news on the wizarding world.
Later, that night, when Harry's so-called-family, the Dursley's, were in bed. Harry received a very strange letter from Professor Dumbledore.
Dear Harry,
I am very sorry for writing to you at this late hour but I am afraid that I write to you with very grave news. Please pack all you belongings and be ready to leave within the hour.
Professor Dumbledore
With that, Harry was sitting in front of the fire downstairs with his trunk packed and Hedwig in her cage. 5 minutes later, a very sooty Professor Dumbledore was stepping out of the fireplace.
"Good Evening Harry, are you ready to leave?" asked the aged Professor
"Yes Sir, where are we going sir?" Asked the young teenager
"To Hogwarts, Harry. There are some things that need to be discussed that concerns you" Replied Dumbledore.
And with Hedwig flying towards hogwarts, his trunk and the empty owl cage shrunken in his pocket and floo powder in hand, Harry through the powder into the fire and shouted "Hogwarts" and in an instant he was gone.
