The next chapter is here, and this one will have some action. You may think that the focus of a certain guppy here would make her the main character, but no, she's just the focus today. The inevitable encounter with the guppies and Kong and Godzilla happens here. Sorry this took so long, I've been busy with my other story, which I will speak about at the end, and other things. Sorry this took so long, I forgot about this story lol.
One other thing that I forgot to mention: This is not canon to the Monsterverse, I forgot to say that in the first chapter. But with that out of the way, let's get started!
Chapter 3: The First Fight
The guppies had just escaped a fallen Kong, who landed right in front of their faces. He passed out because of exhaustion. The guppies were utterly shocked and scared about seeing this creature right in front of them, questioning what it could be.
"What is that thing?! It almost killed us!" Deema shouted.
"It seems to be some kind of giant gorilla" Zooli said.
"How could a gorilla be that big Zooli? It doesn't make any sense?" Goby asked her.
"Wait…guys, I think I might know!" Molly said.
"You do?" they all asked her.
"Do you guys remember on the news earlier that it said that there was another giant monster that looked like a gorilla?" she asked them.
"Now that you mention it, yeah I do?" Gil said.
"Maybe this is the creature they were talking about. It even has the axe they mentioned too" Molly said, pointing to the axe.
"That is one big axe. Makes you wonder what its purpose is" Deema said. Oona looked closely at the axe, specifically at the plate part.
"Hmm…that dorsal looks very similar to what I saw in the ocean earlier today" she said.
Molly was the most interested in the ape, swimming close to his face to get a closer look. Her friends were telling her that it was a bad idea.
"Molly, I don't think this is a good idea…" Gil told her.
"Relax Gilly, it's not going to wake up, I'll be fine" she tells him. She swims up to Kong's face, and touches him with her finger. She quickly backs away to see if he responds, but nothing happens. They all sigh in relief.
"You see guys, I told you I would be okay, nothing happened" Molly said to them.
They then heard the sounds of moving vehicles. They all look around to find where it's coming from, when they see military personnel and vehicles coming at the school. They surround the school and Kong. General Adam comes out to greet the guppies.
"What are you kids doing here? It's dangerous!" he asked them.
"Buddy, we almost got crushed by this giant monkey. I think we have a reason to be here" Deema told him.
"I see. So it came here, but why?" Adam questioned himself.
"Maybe it was tired. It looked exhausted and hurt when we first saw it" Zooli told Adam.
"It could be. You kids should leave this area, we have to set up a perimeter around this thing"
"What's a perimeter?" Oona asked.
"A perimeter is a closed boundary around a place or object" Nonny explained.
"Correct, and we need to make sure that no one gets hurt if this thing wakes up" Adam said.
"Will we ever be able to come back here?" Molly asked.
"I don't know about that, but you all are happy to come and visit this place now that we've found one of these kaiju" Adam explains to them.
"A kaiju is another name for a giant monster" Nonny tells them before they can even ask what it means.
Mr. Grouper comes back to check if they're okay. Seeing they are fine, he is relieved and goes to see them.
"Oh, thank goodness you all are okay! I was so worried" he says, relieved.
"Mr. Grouper, what do we do now? We can't go back into the building" Goby asks him.
"Hmm…General Adam, are they able to go inside to get their stuff? Judging by the damage, I believe that their backpacks will still be intact" Mr. Grouper asks Adam.
"Of course, they should be okay" he replies.
"OK, so until this is all sorted out, I guess you guys don't have to go to school until the military moves whatever this is. So go get your backpacks so you can go home. I will call your parents and let them know" Mr. Grouper tells the guppies.
The guppies agree and head inside their school. Inside, there was a huge hole where Kong was, and everything under that hole was destroyed by debris. Luckily, their backpacks were on the other side of the building, so they were fine. They all went to grab their backpacks.
Goby was getting his when he noticed Molly wasn't looking like herself, and went to go ask her if she was alright.
"You okay Molly?" he asks her. She looked over to see Goby by her.
"(sigh) I don't know Goby. I just…feel like this giant creature is being mistaken as a monster. It was probably just trying to survive here, a world it doesn't know, and now it's being taken prisoner" Molly explained to him. Goby thought about that.
"That could be true, but we can't do anything to prove it" he tells her.
"We have to at least try!" he says to him.
"Molly…things don't just solve like that. The giant gorilla will be fine, and the military will make sure nothing bad happens" Goby says, and swims away to leave. Molly sighs and grabs her backpack, but then gets an idea. She pulls out her phone, and texts her parents something.
The others already had their stuff ready to go, and were by the door, waiting for Molly.
"Where's Molly? She's usually the first one here to leave" Deema asks.
"I'm coming!" Molly says, swimming over.
"What were you doing?" Deema asks.
"Well, I just had an idea. Since we aren't able to go to school for now, who wants to have a sleepover at my place? My parents said it's fine" Molly asks her friends.
"Oh definitely!"
"Sure!"
"Yes"
"Sure Molly"
They all head outside, where Mr. Grouper was waiting for them.
"Ok, I've informed your parents about what's happening, so you guys can go home now. I'll be staying here monitoring the situation" he tells them.
They all wave goodbye to Mr. Grouper and head home. Before they all go to Molly's house, they all head home to their houses first. They all say goodbye and that they'll see each other soon, and split to go home.
Molly arrives at her house, which was the size of a normal house. She knows that she was the last of her siblings to arrive home. Molly walks through the door to her home.
"I'm home!" she shouts. As she puts her backpack down, she's greeted by her worried parents.
"Molly! You're back!" her mother said, relieved to see her daughter.
"We were so worried!" her father said. They both hugged her tightly, and Molly hugged them too, glad to see her parents again.
"Mr. Grouper told us about what happened. Are you okay?" her mother asked her worriedly. Molly giggles.
"Mom, I'm okay. I'm just a little scratched up from jumping out of the way, but I'm fine" she told her parents. Mia came up to her, excited to see her sister.
"Molly!" Mia shouted, hugging her big sister.
"Hi Mia! I'm happy to see you too!" she said to her.
"Hey sis, good to see you're still alive" a boy said. She looked up to see her older brother, Mason.
"Hey Mason. Yeah, I'm still here, I didn't get crushed by a giant monkey, that's for sure" Molly told him. They all laughed.
"You said your friends were coming over right? Do you know when dear?" her mom asked her.
"I think they said in about 2-3 hours" Molly said.
"Well, why don't you go get ready for when they come over, since the girls will be sleeping with you. You too Mason, since I know you like to play with the boys" she told them both.
"Yes mom!" both siblings said.
"Oh and Molly! Make sure you help your father with cooking, since your friends are coming over, and you don't want to let your dad do all the work" she told Molly.
"OK mom!" Molly said as she and her brother went into their rooms to get ready. Mia asked her mom about something.
"Mommy, can I ask you something?" Mia asked her mom.
"Of course sweetie. What is it?"
"I saw on TV earlier that there was a sea monster in the ocean. Is it going to come after us?"
"Mia, you know that monsters don't exist. It's not going to come for us" she told Mia.
"Okay, thank you!" she said, swimming up to her room.
Meanwhile, Godzilla is swimming through the ocean on his way to the town. He was encountering no signs of troubles until he came across some ships. The crew members of those ships freak out at the sight of Godzilla swimming towards them.
"Captain! Large object swimming towards us!" a crab sailor said. The captain looked through his binoculars, and spotted Godzilla's dorsal plates approaching.
"Everyone brace for impact!" the captain shouted. They were about to get hit, but Godzilla goes underwater to avoid them, surfacing behind them. He continued to move forward until he was hit with an explosion.
Godzilla surfaced, confused on what attacked him. He knew it wasn't the ships behind him, as they had no weapons to attack him. Godzilla grunted, and prepared to dive under again, when he was suddenly hit with another explosion on his neck. Annoyed now, Godzilla roars to try and lure the attacker near. He then spots fighter jets flying, who barrage him with missiles.
Godzilla didn't flinch from these attacks, and roared loudly at the planes. His dorsal plates start glowing, and blasts the fighter jets with his atomic breath, destroying them and sending them into the ocean. He roared in victory, and dove back underwater, continuing his path to land. Unbeknownst to him, a crew member of one of the ships managed to snap a photo of him.
"Sir! I managed to snap a picture of that creature" the lobster sailor tells the snail captain.
"Good work! I'll call the general and let him know!" the captain said.
At Molly's house, the doorbell rings, and Molly's mom opens the door, to which her friends appear.
"Hello everyone! Please come on in" her mom says to them.
"Thank you Mrs Genilella!" they all said. When they entered, Molly and her dad were finishing cooking dinner. She had her apron on to be safe. They were making ribs, salad, and donuts for
Dessert. She was a pretty good cook, as even her parents were surprised at her skills.
"Well done sweetie, maybe one day you can be as good a cook as me" her dad told her, rubbing her head.
"Thanks daddy, I have always wanted to be a cook too!" Molly said happily.
They both put the food in the oven, and high-fived each other in success.
"While the food is cooking, why don't you go clean yourself in the bathroom and head upstairs? I'm sure your friends are waiting for you there. We'll call you all when dinner is ready" her dad said to her.
"Okay dad, thank you!" Molly said, heading upstairs towards the bathroom.
Molly's room was pretty big, mostly due to all the money the guppies had gained from their songs. She had her bed and dresser, a table she could do school work and other things on and play on her computer. She also has a makeup table for special occasions, as well as a TV and a karaoke machine so she can sing songs she likes.
The girls were in Molly's room getting their sleeping bags ready for tonight. They spread themselves out so they each have room from the others and Molly's room.
"Oh man, this sleepover is going to be so much fun!" Deema shouted.
"I know! I love sleepovers, and this is the first time I've had one at Molly's!" Zooli said.
"Oh, let me tell you. Molly's house is the best! She has so much cool stuff we can use, like makeup and dresses, karaoke, and even a TV!" Deema tells Zooli.
"Okay Deema, I don't think we should use her stuff without her permission" Oona tells her.
"Hmm…good point" she says. They all laugh. Molly enters the room, all cleaned and ready.
"Hey girls! Sorry I'm late, I had to help my dad with the cooking," she said.
"That's fine Molly, we all know you like to help your dad cook," Deema said, winking at her. Molly embarrassedly blushed at that.
The girls talked to each other about movies, singers, typical girly stuff, but then they started to talk about some serious stuff.
"Hey girls. Can I tell you something that you promise to keep a secret?" Molly asked them.
"Sure Molls. What is it?" Deema said.
"I think the giant monster we saw was hurt. I saw some burn marks on it. I think I might go and see it tomorrow morning," Molly told them.
"Molly, that thing is a giant monkey with an axe, don't you think that seems a bit too dangerous?" Deema told her.
"Just because it looks big and dangerous, doesn't make it a monster. It was probably scared, and attacked out of self defense," Molly pointed out.
"I agree with you there Molly, but the military doesn't want people to get hurt, so it's best if we stay away from there until things get better," Zooli said.
"Kids! Dinner's ready!" Molly's mom called out.
"Coming Mom!" Molly shouted. "Let's just forget about this girls and go eat," Molly said as she headed downstairs.
"I'm worried about her girls," Oona told them.
"Us too Oona. I really hope she doesn't go with that plan," Zooli said.
The guppies ate their dinner while talking about random things. After they all ate, they all went upstairs to have fun like pillow fights, telling spooky stories. They then took their showers to clean themselves, and got ready for bed. The girls were sleeping with Molly, while the boys were in Mason's room.
It is currently 7 AM, and the military is at Kong's watching place, and it's raining hard right now. General Adam is keeping a close watch on him, but notices something about the ape.
"Oro, something is happening to him," he tells him. "Tell me, have you learned anything yet?"
"Yes sir. This creature is not from our world, but from another where monsters exist. They refer to him as Kong. Luckily, Kong's sedated and won't be waking up for a while, giving us enough time to take him away," Oro explained.
"Very well. All men surround Kong!" Adam announces on the loudspeaker. Soldiers surround the monkey, unaware of the dangers about to happen.
"Oh is that project coming along, Oro?" Adam asks him.
"I'd rather not speak about that. I need a special energy source to complete it, so I would rather keep it a secret," he says.
Suddenly, Kong opens his eyes, and looks around. He grunts, and tries to get up, only to find he's been chained.
"Sir, Kong has awoken!" a soldier shouted.
"What?! Put all squadrons on high alert now!" General Adam shouts. A loud alarm sounds, which hurts Kong's ears, making him roar loudly, and trying to break free.
Meanwhile, Molly wakes up to a strange noise.
"What was that?" she quietly said, trying to not wake anyone up. She heard the noise again, and immediately thought of what it could be. She quietly swam out of the room, and closed the door. But as she turned around, she ran into someone.
"Ahh!" both quietly said.
"What are you doing up?" Molly and Gil copied. "I heard a loud noise!", they said. "So did I!"
"You don't think it's that giant monster, do you?" Gil asks.
"It has to be. Cmon Gilly!" Molly said, swimming downstairs.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to find out what's happening!" Molly said. She grabbed her raincoat and headed out the door.
"Molly no wait!" Gil said to her. He grabbed Mason's rain coat and chased after her.
Kong was getting restless now. He pulls on the chains to try and break them. He smashes his fists on the ground and walls in a state of rage.
"Sir, he's getting too angry. If he breaks those chains, he'll kill us all!" a soldier tells General Adam. He thinks about what to do, and sighs.
"Prepare to terminate him, now!" Adam yells.
"Yes sir!"
The soldiers aim their guns and weapons at Kong, making him feel threatened.
"Ready…And…"
"Stop!" someone shouts. They look to see Molly there.
"You! What are you doing here? It's dangerous!" Adam tells her.
"That's what I told her, but she ran out the door," Gil said, catching his breath.
"We heard his roars from my house, and we came to check what was going on," Molly said.
"You can't do that kid, it's too dangerous!" Adam tells her. The place shakes due to Kong pulling on the chains.
"Well you can't just kill him, he's scared!" Molly tells him.
"Alright then kid, what do you suggest?"
"Zooli told me about this. You should lower your weapons to make him know we mean no harm," Molly suggests.
"Are you crazy? At this state, he'll just kill us still!" Adam says.
"Trust me, please! This has to work!" Molly said to him.
"General, I would at least give it a try," Gil says. Adam looks around, and sighs before picking up the walkie talkie.
"Everyone put your weapons, turn off all power now!" Adam commands.
The soldiers put their guns and weapons down, and all the lights and power goes off. Kong notices this, and stops slamming the ground, acting curious.
"Now let the chains go. I'll take it from here," Molly said.
"Whatever you say kid," Adam tells her.
"Be careful Molly," Gil says to her.
"I got this Gilly, don't worry," she says, winking at him.
The chains on Kong's arms and neck snap off him, startling him. He gets up and looks around before roaring while pounding his chest. He looks down to see a small girl near him.
"Hey there big guy. Are you happy you're free?" Molly asks him. Kong gets down to get a closer look at the pink-haired girl, confused by her presence.
"We don't want to hurt you. I'm Molly, and I'm here to help you…uh…what is your name exactly?" Molly asks Kong. Kong grunts at her, shocking the girl.
"Did I just understand that? Your name is Kong? That's a cute name?"
"(She can understand it?)" Gil said to himself.
"I think we can be good friends, but only if you promise not to hurt anyone else, OK?" Molly asked him. She held out her finger. Kong looks at her, and gets a flashback of a similar scene. This girl appears to remind him of a little girl he knew back in his world. He points his finger out, and touches hers.
"I don't believe it, she actually did it" Adam said in shock.
"That's Molly for you, she can do anything," Gil said in amazement. Kong roared loudly and grabbed his axe, and started walking away towards the mountains. Molly sighed in relief before heading back inside, where Gil greeted her.
"That was amazing Molly! I didn't think you would be able to understand it!" Gil said to her.
"Thanks Gilly! I didn't know either, but I'm glad I was able to," Molly said.
"I have to say, I'm very impressed with you Molly. You managed to tame and communicate with Kong, and I'm thankful you managed to come here," Adam thanked her.
"Thank you General!" Molly thanked him. Suddenly, the alarm rang loudly, alerting everyone.
"What's happening?" Gil wondered.
"General Adam!"
"This is General Adam. What's wrong Olivia?"
"Sir, a giant creature is swimming towards the shore! You need to come see this now!" Olivia told him over the speaker.
"I'm on my way!" Adam shouted.
"You two need to go now, it's too dangerous this time," he told the two kids.
"No wait, let us come, we may be able to help," Molly said.
"I'm afraid I can't allow that, you two need to head home now."
"Please General, we promise we'll stay safe," Molly told him.
"Fine, just don't say I didn't warn you kids," he said.
They all headed to the beach, where the army was getting in position to attack. Navy ships and jets were ready as well.
"What's the issue?"
"A giant creature is swimming towards here as we speak,"
"What's its current location?" Adam asks the soldier.
"It's currently-"
*BOOM!*
An explosion is heard outside. Everyone looks to see a ship on fire, with jet planes attacking something in the water.
"What made that ship explode?" Gil asks.
"Maybe something went wrong inside?" Molly suggests. Suddenly, something rises out of the water, making a big splash, startling everyone.
"What is that thing?!" Gil says.
The creature had black scales everywhere, with a long tail, elephant-like feet, spikes on the back and long claws. We all know who it is. Godzilla.
"It looks like the creature Oona said she saw!" Molly points out. Godzilla roars loudly in the air, and looks around, curious about this new land he's found. He looks down at the tanks and weapons aimed at him, but doesn't pay much attention to it, as he starts to walk forward.
"Open fire!" Adam commanded. The army opened fire at Godzilla, making him flinch and recoil in slight pain. He knows that they can't do anything to him, so he continues walking. That is until a jet launches a missile that hits Godzilla in the eye, making him recoil in pain.
"I think you guys just angered him," Molly points out.
Godzilla roars loudly and uses his tail to sweep away the tanks and jets. He attacks the army, using his tail and claws, as well as feet to destroy their weapons. At one point, he tail smacks some tanks near the main building.
"Everyone out now!" Adam shouted. Everyone evacuated the building before it was blown up by a falling tank, minorly injuring them. Godzilla then grabbed a jet and threw it away to his right.
"That's near my house!" Molly shouted.
"Don't worry Molly. It doesn't look to be going near your house.
Meanwhile, at Molly's house, the other girls were still sleeping peacefully, when Deema randomly woke up. She looked around, but noticed Molly wasn't there.
"(Eh, she probably went to the bathroom)" she thought to herself before heading back to sleep, when suddenly-
*BOOM!*
Another loud explosion rocked the area, waking them all up.
"What was that?!" Deema said.
"It sounded like an explosion," Zooli said.
"Uhm guys, Molly's gone," Oona said.
"She's probably in the bathroom right now," Deema told her.
"Doesn't Molly keep her door open when she goes to the bathroom?" Zooli pointed out.
"Oh, right. Good point," Deema said. Goby opened the door.
"Did you girls hear that too?" he asked.
"Yep. Also, Molly's missing," Deema told him.
"Gil is gone too!" Goby said.
"What?!" all the girls said. They then heard a loud roar.
"W-What was that?" Oona said worriedly.
"I don't know. I've never heard a creature make that kind of noise before," Zooli said.
"Say…you guys don't think?" Deema asked.
"We have to go then," Oona said.
"Hey, where's Nonny?"
"Right (yawn) here" he tiredly said. Everyone giggled quietly.
"Could you all be quiet, my parents and Mia are still sleeping?" Mason said.
"Hey man, your sister might be where that loud roar came from, so if your parents ask you where we are, tell them we're going to get her and Gil," Goby told him.
"Ok?" he said before lying down. Everyone shrugged and quietly swam downstairs.
Meanwhile, Godzilla had destroyed the entire fleet of tanks and jets, but didn't bother with the ships.
"What do we do now?" Gil asked. Godzilla then stopped suddenly.
"Now what's he up to?" Adam confusingly asked. Godzilla started sniffing the air, before turning around, looking directly at the guppies.
"I think he sees us guys," Gil said scaredly.
"You two run near Big Bubble City, we'll stay here!" Adam told the two kids. They started running towards the city, but Godzilla quickly spotted them, and roared to give chase, swinging his tail.
"Duck!" Molly shouted. They both dodged under his tail and continued running away. Godzilla tried stepping on them, as well as biting, but they managed to evade his attacks.
"He's still following us!" Gil shouted.
"I have an idea, follow me!" Molly said. She and Gil swam away from the city and into the fields and the open plains. Godzilla roared and chased them. The lizard chased them for a while, but he was starting to get tired, and slowed down.
"He's slowing down now!" Gil said with relief. Godzilla, however, had spotted a gas truck, and got an idea. He picked up the truck, and threw it forward, and it landed in front of the two kids, creating an explosion that sent them backwards.
When they got up, they saw Godzilla looking down at them. Molly got up and looked at him too. He got down to stare at her seriously, which frightened the girl, but she wasn't backing down, staring at Godzilla with intimidation. Godzilla roared into the air, and prepared to lunge forward, but was stopped after something grabbed his tail.
He turned around to see Kong grabbing his tail. The ape roared and began swinging Godzilla around for a bit until he tossed him aside. Kong roared at Godzilla, pounding his chest.
"Kong!" Molly said in relief.
Kong briefly looked at them, before focusing on Godzilla, who was starting to get up. Godzilla managed to get up, and roared angrily at Kong, issuing a challenge. Kong responds by picking up his axe, and roars back at the King of the Monsters, who glares at him. Godzilla and Kong stare at each other for a while, before Kong roars and charges at Godzilla.
Godzilla expects Kong to do the same as what he did in Hong Kong, but Kong knows Godzilla is expecting this, so he surprises him by swinging his axe in Godzilla's face, knocking the lizard back. Before he can recover, Kong attacks Godzilla with a flurry of axe swings and punches. Godzilla manages to grab Kong's axe, and toss it away from him.
Kong knows what he has to do now. He quickly grabs Godzilla's face and punches it, knocking him back, but Godzilla retaliates with a bite, throwing Kong in the opposite direction. Before Godzilla can begin charging, Kong tackles him, and pushes the monster away from him, and then punches him in the gut and face.
Godzilla starts to get angry now, and charges at Kong, who charges at Godzilla too. They collide, knocking each other back, but Godzilla slashes at Kong with his sharp claws, and bites Kong on the neck, and throws him at a building near Big Bubble City. Godzilla begins charging his dorsal plates, but Kong grabs a piece of the building and throws it at Godzilla, who dodges it, but is tackled by Kong.
The two Titans push each other back until Kong headbutts Godzilla, and then punches him in the face. Godzilla tries to swing his tail at Kong, but he grabs it, and swings the Titan around before tossing him near a cliff near the ocean.
"Wow, Kong's really beating up that monster!" Gil exclaimed.
'Yeah, it's like he's fought it before. I just hope he can beat it," Molly worriedly said.
Molly and Gil make it back to the beach, where General Adam saw them and ran up to them.
"There you two are! Are you okay?" he asked them.
"We're fine sir, just a little scratched and all," Molly told him.
"There they are!" someone shouted. Molly and Gil turned around to see their friends approaching.
"Guys!" both shouted in relief.
"We were so worried!" Oona said.
"Where did you two even go?" Goby asked them.
"Someone ran out the door to go and look at the giant gorilla back there, so I followed behind," Gil said, looking at Molly, who blushed.
"Looks like you did your word Molly," Deema said.
"Listen, I heard it roaring, and it sounded sad, so I had to go see what was happening," Molly said.
"Still, it was dangerous to do that. Who knows what could've happened," Zooli told her.
"Uh guys? What is that thing it's fighting?" Goby said, pointing towards Kong and Godzilla.
"That looks just like the creature I saw!" Oona exclaimed.
"It seems to be some kind of giant lizard," Nonny said.
Kong picked up his axe again and walked towards a fallen Godzilla. Godzilla knows he can't fire his atomic breath, but he gets an idea. Godzilla gets up and roars at Kong, who roars back. Godzilla charges Kong, who prepares to swing at him. Godzilla, however, ducks under and grabs the axe. He throws it on the beach, near the guppies.
"Watch out!" Molly shouted. They all jump away from the weapon.
Kong is distracted by this, giving Godzilla enough time to slash his claws and teeth and Kong, and throws him near the cliff. Kong retaliates with a charge and punch, but Godzilla responds by slapping Kong in the face, knocking the ape down.
"I think the monkey's in trouble," Deema said.
"Sir, there has to be something we can do!" Molly begs Adam.
"Destroyers, fire at the lizard monster, now!" Adam commands the ships.
Godzilla steps on Kong, and prepares to blast him, but is hit by the ship's missiles, making Godzilla recoil in pain. Kong uses this to punch Godzilla, getting him off the ape, and tackles him near the edge. Godzilla is about to attack again, but the ground under his foot breaks, making him slip and fall into the ocean, creating a big splash.
"He did it!" Molly shouted. Everyone cheered for Kong, who pounded his chest while roaring in victory. However, Godzilla wasn't finished yet. He noticed the rock was weak from the water. His dorsal plates began glowing brightly.
While everyone was cheering, Deema noticed something in the water.
"Hey uh guys? Is it just me or is the water glowing?" she asked, pointing to the spot.
"What is that?" Goby wondered. Kong soon noticed it too, but it was too late. Godzilla fired his atomic breath out of the water and onto the rock, breaking it apart easily, sending Kong into the water, but he manages to wall jump closer to the shore.
"What was that?" Gil said, shocked by what they all just saw.
"It looked like a laser beam of some kind," Zooli said.
Kong surfaced and made his way towards the shore, but Godzilla stopped him, attacking him and dragging him under. Kong tries to fight back, punching and kicking Godzilla. He begins charging again, but this time Kong punches his chin, sending his blast upwards.
"Aaand the lizard has a laser beam. Of course it does," Deema annoyingly said.
"It seems to excel in underwater combat," Nonny points out.
"If that's the case, then Kong is at a disadvantage," Molly replies.
Godzilla brutally attacks Kong and starts to drag him underwater with his tail. Kong bites down on Godzilla's tail, making him flinch, but doesn't affect him much.
"He's dragging him underwater!" Oona shouts.
"General Adam, Kong will drown if we don't help him!" Molly begs General Adam to help Kong. Adam tries to think of an idea, when he realizes they can disorient Godzilla.
"I've got it!" He shouts, running to his speaker.
"All ships, fire depth charges towards Kong and the lizard's locations!" He commands them. Depth charges are fired into the water near both Titans. A large explosion in the water occurs, making a huge splash, getting everyone wet.
"Great, now we're all wet," Deema said. They all giggled. A hand rises out of the water, scaring everyone. Kong comes to the shore, all tired and beaten, and lies down on the shore.
"Kong!" Molly says.
"You know this thing?" Zooli asks her. Her and Gil nod their heads. Kong notices them, and puts a small smile. Suddenly, one of the ships explodes, with Godzilla rising up and blasting the other ship with his atomic breath, roaring loudly, and turns his attention to Kong, but sees Molly and Gil there too, and remembers them.
"I think he sees us, Molly," Gil told her.
"I think he does Gilly," Molly replied. But before she could do something, someone stops her.
"I'll handle this Molly," Oona said, swimming in front of her.
"Oona wait, it's too dangerous," Molly told her.
"We told you that, and you didn't listen, so why should I?" she asked her. Molly stepped back after hearing that. Oona got in front of Kong before Godzilla came ashore. The creature noticed her staring at him, so Godzilla got down to look at her.
"Look at me. Kong's hurt and tired, so why don't you just leave him alone? He was only protecting my friends back there from you, and you're out here causing trouble for everyone! We don't want to hurt you, OK?" Oona tells Godzilla to his face. Godzilla glares at her with an angry look, but suddenly is reminded of someone. To him, this girl reminds him of a certain moth Titan who helped him in the past. Godzilla roars into the air loudly, and then goes back into the ocean underwater.
"What just happened?" Deema said, shocked about what happened.
"You did it Oona! You saved everyone!" Zooli shouted.
"I..did it…I really did it!" Oona said, shocked at herself.
"Nice going Oona! I didn't know you had it in you!" Gil congratulated her.
"I gotta say, well done kid," Adam told her.
"Thank you General!" Oona thanked him.
"Sir, I have new information about that monster!" Oro said.
"Oh everyone, this is my leading scientist, Dr. Oro!" Adam introduced him to the guppies.
"Hello Dr. Oro!" Everyone greeted him. Bubble Puppy barked.
"Hello there kids," Oro greeted back.
"What did you find Oro?"
"Well, I found out some more information about these two creatures and what they are," Oro said.
"What did you find?" Goby asks him.
"Well, it turns out, these two aren't from here. Our planet, solar system, or universe. They're both from another world, one where monsters exist," Oro explains.
"M-M-Monsters?" Oona scaredly asked.
"Yes, and they're called Titans. This one right here is named Kong by their home's local legends," Oro says.
"And what about the lizard monster?" Gil asks.
"..."
"Tell us, Oro," Adam tells Oro.
"Alright. It's called…"
Everyone got ready to hear it.
"Godzilla, King of the Monsters."
Authors Notes
Well this took very long hehe. I'm sorry to those who thought this story was canceled, I just forgot about it until a few days ago. But anyway, the guppies finally meet both Kong and Godzilla for the first time, and they saw them through the first of many fights here. Also, I want to retcon something from the first chapter. I want to make it so that Kong got here through a portal opening in the Hollow Earth, while Godzilla got here through a portal that appeared underwater. Anyway, the next chapter will be about Kong and Molly, as well as developing some conflict for the guppies. I hope you all enjoy this one!
