Post-Most of TOON CITY's au Version of DP, This is Pre-The Ultimate Enemy, but Memory Blank, alongside with most of Season 3 and Phantom Planet are both non-canon, there's two Danielles, but I'll get to that in Toon City.

May 20th, 2015-

It was just another night in the Oklahoma city known as Toon City, The City of Tomorrow: stark angles, bold buildings, pretty much New York City combined with Chicago, Boston and Dallas. But at night, it becomes a different city, with creeping shadows, it becomes dense, crowded, as if hell had erupted through the sidewalks. A dangling fat moon shines overhead. We see a darkly ornate Gothic anomaly: the old City Cathedral, once grand, long since boarded up. Several gargoyles gaze down from their shadowy rooftops. On one of those Gargoyles, is a 14-year old vigilant figure, kneeling as he keeps a vigilant watch over the city.

Sometimes it seems the more criminals he tries to stop, the more just come out of the back alleys and dilapidated bars. The city is a hellhole in Downtown. It calls out to him to save it. And sometimes, the vigilante doesn't know if he can. But it is still his city. He is seen as an angel keeping watch over the city at night. As violence and darkness take over the streets, he works to rid this city of crime. He's basically the symbol this town needs. How did it get to this point? It all started years ago:

September 2009-

It was a beautiful March afternoon at FentonWorks, 8-year old Danny Fenton woke up and got dressed for another day of school. Hopefully, it'll be a normal day, recently, he's been fighting a lot of ghosts while making sure his three-year-old sister Danielle is safe while she got used to her powers, which she got from her parents' portal by accident.

"Another day, another day of possibly getting roped into another Avengers Mission. Or maybe a Justice League Mission!" Danny sarcastically said to himself. He made sure that no one heard that.

Danielle walked from her room, holding her teddy bear as the toddler halfa crawled downstairs as she smelled breakfast. Danny raised an eyebrow as he said, "Need help?"

"No," Danielle said, confident. "I'll be alwight."

Danny shrugged as he headed downstairs into the living room, only to see a news report, where we see Lance Thunderman talk about Danny Phantom and whether or not he should be treated as a hero or a child playing pretend. Danny scowled at this.

"Danny," Maddie stated, grabbing her son's attention. "I heard from school that you're getting a new student, so be nice to him."

"I'm usually nice to new classmates." Danny said. "If I weren't, I wouldn't have friends like Sam and Tucker."

"I know, but this kid has been through so much, he just got taken away from his parents by CPS." Maddie said. Danny cringed. The way that Danny's family behaved would even make Vlad want to dial in Social Services on Jack Fenton, unfortunately, it would be for all the wrong reasons.

"Geez." Danny said. "That must've been hard for him. Where are his parents?"

"Prison. For a few months." Jack Fenton said. "Don't worry, Danny, he'll need a buddy like you. Who knows? Maybe you and him can be like Vladdy and me back then!"

"Dad," Danny said, embarrassed. "Even Luan doesn't joke about that."

"Authorities are unsure if he is either a nuisance, menace or a hero. But he is adorable, you can't stay mad at him." Lance Thunderman joked. "Danny Phantom seems like a kid that's just playing "Captain America", but he should take it easy, he's no Avenger."

Danny frustratedly turns off the TV, much to Jazz's surprise.

"Sheesh," Jazz said. "Can't dish what's thrown at you?"

"Let's just eat breakfast." Danny said, rolling his eyes in frustration.

The precinct at the Toon City Police Department was busy like usual, everyone was moving about, filling reports, giving reports, searching up on any leads for each and every case they were individually working on. One such individual we bring our focus to is a 35-year-old police detective. He was tall and well built. He was wearing a white buttoned shirt and a black tie and was wearing a gold badge; he had just exited from the elevator and was drinking a cup of coffee. He looked a little gruff and gave off a hardcore vibe, from the expression on his face it could be clear that he's seen a lot in his days in the force and army, most guys like him often do.

His name was Detective Don Wilkinsworth, he's a Southern Accented man who's been in the police force for 12 years now, and he's earning himself a reputation as a cop who doesn't take too kindly to criminals, especially if they threaten innocent people. But one thing that annoys him a bit is kids running around, thinking they're heroes.

"Hey, Don!" A voice said, it was one of the officers. "Got another case, the Box Ghost."

"Goddammit." Don sighed. "Not that jackass again. When does he give up? No matter what he does, he's not going to be a bigshot. He's more pathetic than Jerry. And you know what, I've had my fill of ghosts recently. Especially when it comes to a certain Ghost Kid."

"Danny Phantom?" The cop started to laugh.

"He's gonna get himself killed if he's not too careful one day." Don said, sternly. "He's just a kid. This is no laughing matter!"

"C'mon, Don, you're all work and no play. Loosen up and have a laugh for once."

"The kid's...what, 8 years old? He shouldn't be out there, being a hero! This kid's asking for an early grave. He needs to be more careful. Go spend time with his dog or parents or...whatever." Don said annoyed.

"Look, Don, we'll try to talk to him, ask him to call it quits."

"Do it now!" Don said, stern. "As soon as you find Danny Phantom, tell him to stay out of being hero and stay safe. Next time a ghost is haunting a house, tell him to not go after it."

"And if he doesn't respond?"

"Then, I'll talk to him myself. I'll just reason with him, that's all. I'm not gonna threaten him."

"Good Luck..." A cop said, sarcastically.

"I am NOT sending a child to prison." Don said, annoyed. "Maybe we can send him a message? Does he have an acquaintance?"

"Well, there has been connections between him and the Axion Labs owner's daughter, Valerie Gray." A cop said.

"Well, I guess we found out our path to finding out who is involved with the Ghost Boy." Don said.

Danny's Classroom

"Good morning, class."

"Good morning, Mr. Kaufman!" chimed the classroom.

Mr. Kaufman walked over to the doorway, as he spoke, "We've got a new student from Oklahoma City, his name is Ja..."

"It's not Jack Spicer anymore." The student said off-screen. "It's Joseph Scottsdale."

"Okay..." Mr. Kaufman said, warily. "Say hello to Joseph Scottsdale."

Then, a boy around Danny's age arrived. He had light skin, and reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, a red shirt with Frankenstein's face on it, black khaki shorts, black shoes. He had a dark red backpack. His name was Joseph Scottsdale, but his birthname was Jack Spicer, but since his brief stint with being taken away by CPS, he wanted it changed to get noticed.

"Now, Joseph has been through so much recently, so be sensitive towards him."

'Joseph' then slowly took a seat at the back of the classroom, Danny glanced at him as if something is fishy about him.

"Danny!" A girl's voice was heard, on his left were his friends, Sam and Tucker, the 8-year old's best friends since his days with the Urban Rangers when he was 5 before he had to stop when he first became Danny Phantom.

"Sorry." Danny replied. "It's just that, something seems off about that kid."

"Dude, just take a break from being a hero, it's not like he's Vlad." Tucker said.

"Just give him a chance." Sam said, assuring. "The worst he could get himself into is be bullied by Dash."

"I can hear you from here," 'Joseph' said, annoyed.

"Sorry about that, don't mean to offend you."

"Some taken."

"Kids, stop it. Let's get back to the lesson. Now, remember class, you have a big test coming up this October and there will be an assembly about it this Friday afternoon after all of our classes. I'm sure you've all been busy studying..." The teacher glared at Danny, who cringed in his seat. Sure, he's just a kid, but C's in class weren't something to brag about at home.

'Joseph' looked at Danny, and there was something that intrigued him, in a plutonic way, like something about Danny's nature seemed friendly.

Later that day at Recess, Danny was playing on the Monkey Bars as he saw the new kid reading his book, he wasn't really interested in playing on the playground at the moment.

Danny cringed, he has to do something, so he walks over to the kid, hoping to ask him something, when suddenly, a basketball flies right towards 'Joseph', making him scream like a girl as he ducks, this catches some kids' attention, and by Some, I do mean the popular kids.

"Hey!" Dash was heard, impatiently waiting with the 4th graders to have their sports ball back. "Somebody get our ball."

"Oh," 'Joseph' said, warily. He grabs the basketball and carries it back to Dash, gaining the attention of others as they start to joke about the kid. By the time he made it, Dash took the ball away from him as he said, "About time!"

"Geez," 'Joseph' taking offense from this as he cringed.

"Maybe we can call you snail boy!" Dash joked. The new kid rolled his eyes in shame as he walks back to his seat. Danny glared at Dash. He was about to give him a piece of his mind, that is until he decided that he wasn't worth it. He decided to talk to Joseph Scottsdale, he went over to his seat.

"Eh, don't mind Dash." Danny smirked. "He's a hypocrite. He has a bunch of stuffed animals in his closet."

"I would be surprised." Joseph grinned weakly. "Big man on the outside, big softie on the inside. A very cliche joke."

"So, where do you live?" Danny asks.

"In an orphanage in the city."

"That must be hard for you..."

"Well, it's easy to get used to after a summer there. We actually have a decent swimming pool."

"That's one thing."

"Kinda sounds like this town has complications of its own, the Ghostly Kind."

"Just a few weeks ago, there was an infestation of Ghostly Bugs on the first week back in school."

"Well, are they gone?"

"Gone and will never come back."

The two boys laugh.

"But still, there's some Ghostly Hauntings that turn loose around this city." Danny said. Suddenly, when 'Joeseph' turned, Danny's Ghost Sense went off from his mouth, a blue mist blowing like the wind. Danny gasps, and sees a familiar Ghost flying around, acting all cliche with his floating boxes flying around, it was The Box Ghost.

"Well, more box forts for Danielle." Danny thought in his head as he got up.

"I AM THE BOX GHOST!" The Box Ghost yelled out as he threw the cardboard down at the kids, but to Danny's surprise, they were full of furniture as the boxes came apart, sending the kids screaming. 'Joeseph' Just screamed like a girl and bolted away from the situation, much to Danny's confusion as he looks on.

"Well, at least I have a chance to put this on hold, so," Danny said as he ran to underneath the playground equipment, transforming into his iconic alter-ego, the one and only, Danny Phantom.

Danny then flew up to the Box Ghost, and just simply clocked his jaw, knocking the Mediocre Ghost backwards. This sends him flying to the dumpster.

"Seriously, sir," Danny said, getting annoyed. "Aren't you tired of this?"

"Do not mock me! For my control over Boxes will be triumphant over humanity!" The Box Ghost said, frustrated. "You'll all see!"

Annoyed, Danny takes out his thermos and has the Box Ghost sucked up into it.

"This is getting frustrating." Danny said. As a ghost hunter, this has intervened with his academic life and his social life, to the point where he nearly fell behind in school and had to retake a test. There were times he wished he could just get rid of his powers, but the city still needs its hero.

And Speaking of heroes, a familiar police department pulled up, with a familiar detective on the scene.
