Is the Fellowship of the Ring
Frodo agreed to take the Ring to Mordor
And soon the Fellowship broke
The second book in the tril'gy Lord of the Rings
Is named for the Two Towers
Orthanc and Baradur have come together
And are united by evil
Frodo and Sam meet Gollum inside Emyn Muil
Pippin and Merry are caught
Legolas, Aragorn and the dwarf
Are tracking them across Rohan
Then in Fangorn the warriors meet back up with
An old friend they thought they'd lost
Gandalf the Grey was now Gandalf the White
And was back to help them fight
Pip and Merry stayed with Treebeard
Sam and Frodo followed Gollum into Mordor
The others rode on to save the King of Rohan
They will fight
And defeat
All the evil they meet
At Helm's Deep orcs fall
Isengard
Is destroyed
The third book in the tril'gy Lord of the Rings
Is called the Return of the King
Sauron is destroyed and Aragorn named King
And everything turns out fine
