Willow never had a true friend before she met Amity. She before was looked down just because her parents were bisexual. She was already unpopular enough just because she moved to Gravesfield, but combine that, and she was just constantly bullied. Particularly by Boscha's group.
Amity and Skara were part of that group, and initially, they just watched her be bullied by Boscha. But eventually, the bullying got too far. Boscha just straight up stepped on her hair-pin that her fathers gave her. This caused Willow to cry and run, but eventually, Amity got to her, and comforted her. She even attempted to repair the pin. After that, the two became best friends… in secret.
Amity's mom doesn't approve of Willow, so they would kill Amity if they knew that Amity is best friends with Willow. However, that doesn't stop her whenever she is out of sight from her mom.
It has been one day since Luz came to their world. They visited every day after school, saying to their parents it's an after school club. The only one who doesn't come is Amity, and even then, she still visits every night when her parents aren't there.
At school, it's pretty much the same as usual. Later, Willow was just about to go for tryouts for a sports team. Then…
"Heh heh, wow, looks like the nerd is all alone," Willow looked behind her and saw Boscha, along with Skara and Amity, although she was more focused on Boscha.
"Ugh, what are you doing here, Boscha," Willow asked.
"Seeing what you are doing," Boscha said, "And it seems like trying out for a sports team."
"Why do you care," Willow asked.
"Because I just want to warn you that no-one will ever accept a wimp on the team," Boscha said as she gradually walked more menacingly to Willow.
"What do you mean," Willow asked.
"I mean, you barely can even stand up for yourself against me," Bosch taunted, "You'll often try to run away, and cry like that. So listen this closely, cause I'm only gonna tell you once. Nobody… will ever… be willing to work with you ever."
Willow was then pushed down, and then fled the scene crying.
(Later)
"And then, she basically said the equivalent of nobody will be friends with you," Willow cried.
"Wow, that is bad," Viney said.
"I am just tired of everything Boscha is putting me through," Willow said, "Just because she thinks I'm weak."
"Yeah, too bad there isn't anything we can do about it" Gus said.
"It's not like we can wave our hands and make her disappear," Willow said until she realised.
"Wait, why don't we ask Luz for help," Willow asked, "She knows magic, she can help me get some revenge on Boscha."
Gus and Viney looked at each other.
"Are you sure," Viney asked.
"Yeah, will Luz even like going into a public school," Gus added, "Or beating up a kid, or all of that."
"It's worth a try," Willow said, "Luz is our closest friend."
"We met her a day ago," Viney interrupted.
"I'm sure it will be fine," Willow said.
(Later)
"I'm in," Luz said.
"Please, please, I am getting tired of her… wait what," Willow said.
"I said I'm in," Luz repeated.
"Really," Viney asked.
"Yeah," Luz said, "I'm always ready to show some bullies wrong. Plus, it's an excuse to visit a human school."
Willow smiled. "Thanks Luz, you're a good friend," she said.
"Well, now that that's settled, how are we going to explain everything," Gus asked, "We can't exactly say that she's a witch from another dimension."
"We could use this," Luz said as she pulled out the hoodie that Amity gave her the previous night. She put it over her other clothes and pulled the hood on. It also had cat ears, just for some flair.
"Ok, but that still isn't going to be able to convince Principal Bump to let you into the school," Gus said.
"Leave that to me," Luz said.
(Tomorrow)
"And due to all of that, Luz Noceda is going to be our new student," Bump announced to the class, "Hope you treat her with respect."
Luz then took a seat near Skara and Willow.
"How did you do that," Willow asked.
"Oh, simple, I just simply went into his mind, made up a fake story about myself, and convince him I was an exchange student," Luz explained.
Willow just stared like that was the weirdest thing anyone has ever done.
Willow decided to show Luz around the school, from the locker (which Luz tried to open by tickling their cheeks) to the open fields. Luz was amazed by all of this. She was always interested in human stuff ever since she got her first Azura book.
"So, humans don't have Grugdby, they don't have Flyer Derby, and they don't have broomstick races," Luz said.
"Yeah," Willow said.
"So what do you have here," Luz asked.
"Well there is basketball, soccer, and rugby, but Boscha's the leader of that one," Willow explained.
"Boscha, isn't that the girl who is bullying you," Luz asked.
"You darn right I am," said a voice from behind, as the two looked and saw Boscha.
"And let me tell you, if you were wise, you wouldn't have her as a friend," Boscha said.
"No way, Willow's one of the best friends I ever had," Luz said.
"HAH!" Boscha laughed, "Welp, you just burned your social life here, so have fun being a weirdo."
Boscha and her gang left.
"I kinda hate her now," Luz said.
"Urgh, why won't Boscha leave me alone," Willow said, as she punched the wall.
Luz looked at her friend, now distraught.
"Alright, time to bring out the spells," Luz said.
"That's kinda cheesy, you know that," Willow said.
"Yeah, but cheese is how I roll." Luz said.
For the rest of the week, Luz and Willow tried to do everything to make a bad day for Boscha. One day, they trapped one of her feet on a plant and made her trip. Another, they filled her locker with abomination goo. Another, they had Owlbert steal one of her books. But no matter what, she always picked up her slack and bullied Willow and Luz the next day.
On the final day at school for the week, Luz and Willow looked through Luz's spellbook that they can use on Boscha.
"Okay, maybe we can disturb her during music with Bard magic," Luz suggested.
"Nah, too boring," Willow said.
"Ok, how about I slip a potion down her throat to do anything to her," Luz suggested next.
"Too weird, will probably get us caught," Willow said.
"Ok, then how about," Luz started.
"Ugh, all the good spells are not gonna work," Willow groaned.
"Is everything alright guys," a voice said. Luz and Willow looked behind them and saw Viney, Gus, and Skara.
"Yeah, we're just trying to find a spell to stop Boscha from bullying me," Willow said.
"Yeah, sorry, only something so traumatising can truly stop Boscha from bullying you," Skara said.
Willow then got an idea. "Luz, you said you got in by mind controlling Principal Bump," Willow said.
"Not exactly, I said I added information to his brain to make him believe I was an exchange student," Luz said, "Why?"
"Can you do the same thing with Boscha and play through some of her worst memories," Willow asked.
"That isn't safe," Luz said, "The spell can be only safely casted by the best of the illusion witches, and even then, they had a special thing to keep it safe."
"Oh, okay," Willow said, visibly disappointed.
"Lucky thing I have one of those," Luz said, as she pulled out what looks like an earring with a light blue gem in the middle.
"This can make me see her worst nightmares and memories, and even replay it in her head, however, it takes a lot of magic to do that, and can tire the user out for a bit," Luz explained.
"Are you sure we should do this Willow," Skara asked.
"Yeah, this seems incredibly unsafe," Gus said.
Willow looked worried. Sure, she wanted to get revenge on her bully, but at the cost of tiring out her friend.
"Are you sure you want to do this," Willow asked.
Luz breathed in and said, "Yes."
(Tomorrow)
Luz was hiding next to Willow's locker, with the earring in her hands.
"Hey Park," Boscha said as she walked by.
"Hey Boscha," Willow said.
"So, what are you doing here alone," Boscha said.
"Making sure this bullying will be your last," Willow said menacingly.
That's when Luz looked into her mind, her eyes glowing light blue, as did Boscha. She then looked through tons of Boscha's memories, and decided to replay her worst ones.
Playing back memories is never easy, especially since you get to see the memory that are played back too. Luz tried to find the memory, until…
Amity ran and accidentally bumped into Luz. This caused Luz to let go of the earring, but then it aimed at her, as her eyes glowed light blue.
"Sorry Luz," Amity quickly said.
Boscha returned, as she ran away, seemingly terrified.
"Great work Luz," Willow said, "That must've scared her for good."
But Luz didn't answer.
"Luz," Willow said before she turned to her, seeing her on the floor, eyes glowing blue.
"Oh no, LUZ," Willow said as she ran to help her.
(Later)
Willow, Gus, Skara, and Viney all carried Luz to the shack.
"All right, remind me what happened," Gus asked.
"Luz was looking through Boscha's mind, and is now trapped in her own mind," Willow explained.
"Geez, if only someone would say it's a bad idea," Gus said.
"Can we not play the blame game now," Willow said, "And find a way to help Luz."
Gus decided to look into Luz's spellbook.
"Here it is," Gus said, "It's said that it is possible to reverse the effects, if someone can go and confront them in their mind. "
"Alright, who is going to do it," Viney asked.
Everyone looked at Willow. Willow looked slightly upset. She blamed herself, being so caught up in revenge, she let her friend get hurt in the process.
"We could always do rock paper scissors," Viney said.
"I'll do it," Willow said.
"Alright, it's said that you can bring another person into it," Gus said, "Who will it be?"
"I'll go too," said a voice behind them, seeing Amity in the front of the door.
"Amity," everyone said.
"I know about what you tried to do, and I know after seeing Luz, you might be blaming yourself, so I just want to help comfort my best friend, while also saving my friends sanity," Amity explained, "Plus, it's kinda my fault that Luz is like this."
"Alright, now how do we get in," Amity followed up.
"Well, normally, we need an actual witch to get in, but we don't have that right now," Gus said.
"Well that sucks," Amity said.
"But, they do allow it in, if the person is touching the other in this state," Gus said.
"Well, that's weird, but also seems really cool," Willow said.
"Ok, are you guys ready," Gus said.
Willow and Amity breathed in. "Yes," both of them said.
The two then touch Luz's body, their eyes glow blue, as both of them are sent into Luz's mind.
In there, it was a black void, until the room lightened up. It was a purple room, lit with very minimal light, with trees ranging far and wide, like a long empty hallway, even having a pathway that looked endless. All the trees also have pictures in them, being with Luz in them.
"These must be Luz's memories," Willow remarked.
Amity found one of Luz having a very messy and weird haircut.
"Honestly, that's kinda cute," She said.
"Amity," WIllow said. Amity looked at where Willow was pointing, and saw a dim, light-blue glow at the end of the long hallway of trees.
"What is that," Amity asked.
"Let's find out," Willow said.
The two agreed, as they walked closer to the light blue light. The closer and closer they got however, the worse and worse the memories seem to become. A memory of her stopping one of Belos' plans turns to her being captured by him. Then, they reached the source of the light blue light. Luz. Or, they think it's Luz.
"Luz," Amity asked.
Luz looked at them, only for a blue forcefield to form around her. Willow ran, but Amity was engulfed by it.
"AMITY," Willow shouted.
Amity's eyes glowed blue, as she saw her worst moments with her mother play out, as well as other of her worst memories.
"Stop, please, stop this," Amity said.
"What's wrong Amity," Willow said, trying to get closer, only to encounter a bunch of bad memories from her life. Eventually, Willow backed away, pulling Amity away.
"What was that," Willow asked.
"I don't know, it was like when I was close to her, I saw all my worst memories, all in one big, traumatising moment," Amity said.
"Do you think that's the Luz's mind, like a sort of Inner Luz," Willow said.
"I guess," Amity said, but then, the blue field expanded, with Amity and Willow backing up.
"It seems to be getting worse," Willow said, "She must have some pretty traumatising moments for this to be the case."
"What do you think will happen if it gets worse," Willow asked.
"I'd rather not find out," Amity said, "We got to snap Luz out of it."
'How," Willow asked.
"One of us will need to get into that bubble," Amity said.
Willow sighed. "I'll do it," she said.
"Willow, are you sure," Amity asked.
"It's my fault Luz is in this mess," Willow said, "And you have way worse memories than me."
"Are you sure about this Willow," Amity asked.
"I'm sure of it," Willow said.
Willow then walked into the blue field, her eyes now glowing blue. There, she saw her worst memories. She then saw herself in the classroom, with Boscha holding her pin.
"Wow, it is sad how lame you are," Boscha said, as she then dropped, and then stomped on the pin.
She then found herself with Gus, as the two encountered Boscha.
"Well, you just burned your social life," Boscha said to Gus, " Any friend of hers is an automatic dork."
Then, we get to the most painful moment, recently, last week.
"No one will want a weakling like you in their team," Boscha said, "No one wants to be your friend."
Willow cowered, almost succumbing to the sayings. Then,
"Come on Willow," Amity shouted, "You can do this. You're one of the strongest people I know. If anyone can help our friend, it's you."
Willow stood up at that. She looked at Luz, and swallowed her fear. She continued to walk towards Luz, the Boscha visions becoming weaker and weaker, until, before she got to Luz, a disfigured version of Boscha appeared. It lunged at Willow, but then, Willow punched it, revealing itself to be the earring, destroying it.
The forcefield retracted, as both Luz and Willow's eyes turned back to normal, the voices disappeared.
"Willow," Amity said as she ran towards her, "You did it."
Amity hugged Willow, as Willow looked like she would choke. They then looked at the Inner Luz, now glowing purple.
"Thanks you guys," Luz said.
"I guess you probably hate me for dragging you into this,' Willow asked.
"No, I agreed to do it, and the traumatising memories were just an accident," Luz said.
"I guess when you put it like that, yeah I guess that makes sense," Willow said.
"Plus, your my friend Willow, nothing will change that," Luz then followed up with.
Willow smiled. "Thanks Luz."
"Now, let's get you out of here before you're trapped in my mind forever," Luz said.
"Wait, there was a time limit on how long we can stay here," Amity said.
"Yeah, did no one tell you this," Luz asked.
Amity and Willow looked at each other, "No."
"Well, time to get you out of here," Luz said, creating a portal out of there.
Amity and Willow were about to gout when Luz called out, "One more thing, Willow."
Willow walked over there to see what Luz had to say.
"I saw some of the memories you had," Luz said, "And don't listen to her saying you're a weakling. Standing up to your fears is pretty admirable to me."
Willow smiled, "I'll remember that."
Willow then stepped through the portal.
(Later)
Willow was heading for a tryout for another team. Then…
"Hey Lame-o," a voice behind her said, "All alone again."
Boscha, along with her friends, were right behind her.
"Let me guess, out for try-outs again," she asked.
"Yep," Willow said.
"Even though you're a weakling," she said.
Willow smiled, "Oh, I'm not weak."
This catches Boscha off guard. Willow decided to continue on, "And another thing Boscha, I am also not scared of you anymore. Just thought you might want to know that."
With that, Willow walked all the way to the sports field, with Boscha in disbelief.
