Jane's Apartment
Jane and Maura were sitting on Jane's couch, both in a semi-state of shock. Maura was rubbing Jane's feet and Jane was lost in her head trying to figure out what to do about their Hoyt issue.
Maura had stopped rubbing Jane's feet and was watching the clueless detective. "Jane?" Getting no response, she tried again, louder. "Jane!"
Jane realized Maura was speaking to her and managed to say, "Hmm?"
"Will you go to my house tomorrow and see what damage might have been done? Maybe do a quick inventory?" She sat up next to Jane. "And throw our toys out?"
Jane put her arm around Maura and kissed her temple. "Let's go to bed." Maura was slow to get up and Jane knelt beside her, afraid something was wrong. "Maura?"
Maura was worrying with her top lip. "Jane, I've done something and I hope you won't be upset." Jane motioned for her to continue. "Jane, Hoyt has to have somebody watching us, following us or...or maybe even somebody on the payroll at BPD." Jane exhaled and sat back down, mulling over what Maura had said. She eventually motioned for the doctor to continue. "While you were in the shower, I called a private security firm my family is aware of. I...I hired two guards to watch us and two to watch your parents house and my house."
Jane found herself nodding and enveloped Maura into a hug. "Thank you, and you are right, the number of people we can trust is small." She kissed the blonde. "And what about a new place to live?"
"The attorney who oversees our trust is working on that." She stood and held her hand out to Jane, who took it. "I need you to hold me all night, Jane. Please?"

1 Week Later
Maura, and by extension Jane, had gotten moved into a new house. The move had had all of the precision of a military exercise, with Korsak enlisting the FBI's relocation team to help. Jane had been to counseling twice more and knew exactly what the shrink wanted to hear so it would seem she was making progress, but not too fast. She was barely sleeping, holding Maura tight every night, and being on-guard for every sound she heard. The only time she seemed to get any quality sleep, was when Maura would let her go down on her, and she was reluctant to allow that without reciprocation. And Jane had shown no interest in allowing Maura to do that.
Maura couldn't deny Jane anything, but especially her body. She knew the detective was struggling, had been since the break-in at her former address. But she needed Jane to understand that she too needed to do for Jane, what she was doing for Maura. But she knew not to push the issue So she gave herself to Jane and decided to wait. She would wait for however long it took. She loved Jane.
Hanging over both of their heads was the still unsolved break-in at her former residence and Hoyt's trial, which was starting at the end of the week. Maura was still paying for private security for Jane's parents and the two of them.

Firing Range
Jane was just about to go into the firing range to see how her hands were healing in relation to her ability to fire a gun, when her phone rang.
"Rizzoli."
"Det. Rizzoli, Lt. Benson. Just wanted to call and see how you are doing?"
"Oh, hi. I'm...good. You?"
"How are you really?"
Jane sighed. "It's been tough." And for some reason she didn't fully understand, she found herself confiding in Olivia Benson. "I'm doing the counseling thing, not sleeping well unless..." She caught herself, but Olivia finished for her.
"You are going down on Maura?" She waited for Jane to reply and when she didn't, she continued, "And you haven't let her do that for you, correct?"
"No. And it's..."
"An issue. Yes, been there, done that. Piece of advice?"
"Sure."
"This didn't just happen to you, it happened to her as well. When you go down on her, it's you taking back control, but it's also an unconscious control move to not let her pleasure you. She needs to do that to feel connected to you."
"I...hadn't thought of that."
"Jane, it will all be ok. Just do something special for her. For both of you."
Jane Rizzoli called her girlfriend. "Hey Maura, how about I bring home take-out from that French restaurant you like, and we have en evening in, just us?" As soon as the call with Maura was over, she drove to her apartment to pick up a few things, and then headed in the direction of two very different stores.

Maura had set the table and on a whim, she put out the candles and changed into something a lot less comfortable. And for some reason, she felt compelled to freshen her make-up. She was contemplating a music playlist when Jane came through the door carrying an armful of bags.
"Maura, can you grab this bag? It has the food." Maura took the bag and reached for the other two bags Jane was carrying and turned her body to block Maura from getting to the other bags. "Not yet."
Maura relented and went about getting the food out of it's containers, sneaking looks at Jane, who ignored her. They finally sat down to eat and Jane took a good long look at the blonde.
"You're beautiful and I am so lucky to have you."
Maura looked at her and smiled. "Thank you. And I can say the same." She refilled both of their wine glasses. "So...what's in those other two bags?"
Jane smiled as she pushed her empty plate back. She reached into the small, unmarked bag and pulled out a black jewelry box. Smiling at Maura, she pushed the box to her and waited for her to open it.
Maura first thought it was the ring box, but quickly realized it was slightly smaller than the box containing the ring.
She opened it and gasped. "Oh Jane...they are stunning." She looked at the pair of petite Chanel earrings ad then at Jane. "Thank you!"
Jane leaned forward and kissed her. "You're welcome."
Maura was about to remove them from the box when Jane stopped her.
"What...?"
Jane kissed her again and whispered, "Your other gift is to be opened upstairs."
Maura, thinking Jane was talking about going down on her, felt her smile falter ever so slightly. Seeing this, Jane leaned in and kissed her again, before whispering, "I want you to make love to me." When Maura's expression didn't change, she clarified, "I want you to go down on me...fuck me."
Maura's face lit up and she smiled at Jane. "Gladly." She looked over at the remaining bag and raised her eyebrow.
"I replaced our toys."

2 Hours Later
Jane Rizzoli had just come for the fourth time in two hours. This time they had made love together, using the new double dildo Jane had picked up for them. Maura had been insatiable, and had fucked Jane with great precision each time. Jane's body was humming and shuddering as Maura came, calling out Jane's name.
"I've missed this, Jane." She ran her down Jane's belly into the thatch of hair at Jane's center. "I love how soft your pubic hair is. I need this, you."
Jane held her tightly as she said, "I'm sorry I've been like this for the last month. I didn't realize how not giving you this might make you feel."
Maura sighed. "And how did you figure this out?"
Jane chuckled as she played with a strand of Maura's hair, "It may have been pointed out to me by a knowledgeable woman."
Maura yawned. "Olivia?"
"How'd..."
"I spoke with Alex yesterday and she asked me how we were getting along sexually. Her and Olivia went through something similar."
Jane yawned and they both drifted off to sleep.

3 Days Later
There had been a world of difference in Jane and by extension, Maura, since their night of passion. Jane had actually been sleeping better, as had Maura, and she seemed calmer, like she had turned a corner in her recovery. She had even gone to therapy without Maura nagging her.
And today she was going to the firing range to see how her hands were doing since the stitches had been removed. She had been doing strengthening exercises with the occupational therapist and on Maura's body.
The range was oddly quiet as she walked to her favorite bay. She put her protective glasses on and headphones. Taking her service weapon out of it's case, she loaded it and began firing. The gun felt funny against her newly formed scars. Her first few shots were wildly off target as she had to deal with the new sensations the scars caused as she gripped the gun.
She was shaking her hand, trying to get rid of the weird feeling in her hand, when Korsak came up to her. Not wanting to scare her, he waved until she caught a glimpse of him.
"Korsak!"
Korsak motioned to her hands as she was taking her headphones off. "Weird sensations?"
Jane was rubbing her hands together. "Yeah. First time shooting since...you know."
Korsak nodded and bowed his head. "In Nam, a lot of guys had the same issue. Do as much with the palms as possible. Helps desensitize them quicker." He took a deep breath. "Jane..."
Jane shook her head. "Korsak, I don't blame you. Don't blame yourself."
Korsak only nodded and said goodbye. Jane turned back to the target and hit the button to bring it to her. She was studying the shot pattern and the two missed shots when she saw the solid outline of what looked like a piece of paper on the back of the target. Feeling a sense of dread, she looked around to make sure no one was watching her. Taking a deep breath, she turned the target around and swore when she saw what was attached. She folded the item and put it in her back pocket.
She replaced the target with a fresh one and took her gun, ignoring the pain in her hands, and fired off rounds until her gun was empty, imaging Hoyt's face with each pull of the trigger. This time, when she retrieved the target, the head was missing, having been blown to pieces. Jane nodded, reloaded her gun and left the firing range.

Jane had gone by the bank and made a deposit into her safety deposit box. On the way back to Maura's she picked up ice cream and a pizza. She found Maura arranging a fresh bouquet of flowers on the breakfast bar. She took a moment to watch Maura, who had her iPod ear buds in her ears and was swaying back and forth as she worked. Jane flicked the light switch to get her attention.
Maura turned quickly and smiled when she saw Jane. "Jane! Is that Mazzio's?"
Jane smiled and opened the pizza box. "I also got you some vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Not swirled." She bent and kissed Maura. "Let's eat."
Jane gorged herself on pizza and Maura did likewise to the ice cream. As they sat on the couch, bellies full, Jane linked her hand with Maura's. "I love you. No matter what, I love you and I always will."
Maura cocked her head and kissed Jane. "I love you too."
Maura stood and held her hand out to Jane, an invitation. Jane surprised Maura by shaking her head and pulling the blonde back down. She helped Maura straddle her and they began to kiss. Jane pulled back, smiled and then lowered them both to the floor in front of the couch.
"We should break in every room of this house."
Maura kissed her. "We can do that, but how about we get the living room out of the way right now?"
Afterwards, Maura was lying atop Jane as they recovered. "I love making love with you, Jane."
Jane was making circles on Maura's back as she replied, "Me too." She began playing with Maura's hair. "I'll always do my best to protect you and keep you safe."
Before Maura was able to say anything, Jane's phone rang. Maura handed it to her and sat up as Jane's face twisted.
"No, no...I'll do it. What time?"
Maura waited for her to hang-up. "What?"
"That was the DA's office. Hoyt is willing to plead guilty if I will meet with him, alone, tomorrow." She exhaled, and began to worry with her hand.
Maura stopped her and tilted her head up. "You're going too." It was a statement, not a question.
"Yes."
They looked at each other and then Maura kissed Jane's forehead. "Ok."
Jane leaned forward and took Maura's nipple into her mouth and began to suckle her girlfriend. They made love again and afterwards, Jane fixed a bed of blankets and pillows and asked Maura if they could "camp" in the living room.
Maura slept snuggled into Jane's side. Jane lay awake most of the night thinking about seeing Hoyt the next day. All she could do was think and take comfort in holding Maura. By the time the alarm clock went off, she had gotten two hours of sleep broken up into minutes. She followed Maura into the shower, and allowed the doctor to wash her and her hair. Afterwards, she allowed Maura to dry her off and moaned as she massaged the detective's calves.
"You're tense."
"Ya think?"
"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" Jane nodded. "Ok. Are you coming back to BPD after you meet with him?"
"I think so. I'll call you, ok?"

Jane was sitting in a visitation room normally reserved for lawyers and clients, waiting to see Hoyt. After a slight delay, he came shuffling in, shackled at both the arms and legs. As soon as he was seated, the guard left and it was just Jane and Hoyt.
"Jane, so lovely to see you."
"What do you want, Hoyt?"
"Right to business. Ok. You got my gift, at the firing range?" Jane nodded. "Nice work, don't you think?"
"What. Do. You. Want?"
"You Jane. Your attention. Your full attention." He shrugged. "Or at least to live in your head, rent free."
Jane stood up to leave and was at the door when Hoyt's words stopped her. "See one. Do one. Teach one."
"What?"
"Apprentices, Jane. I have trained an entire army of those willing to continue my work." He let that sink in and then added, "Dr. Isles is important to you, isn't she? I mean, you like to be tongue deep in her pussy, don't you?"
Jane stormed over to him and got in his face. "One hair on her head gets broken, and I will kill you with my bare hands. Understand?"
Hoyt smirked. "I can get to her anytime, Jane. Anytime." His smirk turned evil. "You control her destiny, Jane. You."
Jane turned and stormed out, not letting her tears fall until she was back in the safety of her car. She pulled out of the lot and drove down the road until she could pull over, where she had one hell of a crying spell. She was grateful she had kept all of the napkins from her fast food orders. After a half hour, she had gotten herself back together, and called Maura.
"Jane? Are you ok, you sound stuffy?"
Jane smiled at the care in Maura's voice. "Maura, I need you to meet me at First Boston Bank on Fleet St. Ok?"
"Ok. Why?"
"Just meet me, ok?"
After she hung up, she called Korsak and told him what she needed.

First Boston
Maura touched her ear, which was sporting the earrings Jane had bought her, and tried to figure out what a trip to the bank meant. Maybe Jane was putting her on her accounts? Maybe something needed to be notarized? Maybe...she finally decided she would just have to wait on Jane.
Jane saw Maura as soon as she walked into the bank and made her way over to the doctor. She motioned for Maura to walk with her.
"Jane?"
"Safety deposit boxes."
Once they were inside, Jane hugged Maura. "I need to show you something, and I need you to stay calm, ok?"
"Jane?"
"This was attached to my target at the firing range the other day." She handed Maura a photo of the two of them naked and having sex in the new house. Maura was splayed out, everything visible and Jane was just as naked and going down on Maura. She turned the photo over, and scrawled on the back was the message: There is video. See one. Do one. Teach one.
Maura was silent as her anger began to build. "How?"
Jane shook her head. "I don't know. There is a team of techs at the house right now doing a sweep. Korsak is overseeing the team."
Maura was watching Jane and knew she wasn't done. "What else, Jane? What is see one, do one, teach one?
Jane had tears in her eyes as she told Maura everything that had happened, everything Hoyt had said to her and finally...
Jane was openly crying now as she took Maura's hands and kissed them. "Maura, he's dangerous and he knows how important to me you are. I can't keep you safe. And I don't know how many of these apprentices he has." She shrugged. "Maura, the only way I can keep you safe, is to break-up with you."
"NO!"
Jane shook her head. "I'm sorry Maura, but if anything happened to you..." Tears were falling freely now, from both women. "I'm sorry."
They clung to each other before breaking apart and going their separate ways.

A/N: The sequel is coming and will be called: Bar Fly: Aftermath. There will be a small break of 1 week to 10 days before I start posting that story. That story begins where the series began and will go through key points of the 7 seasons. It will be worth it, I promise.
