13. Chapter 13

Greenback Jane and the Roanapur Freakshow Circus

Yin sighed, feeling Dutch had a good point, which reminded her why her deceased parents preferred to have her being homeschooled. "Yeah... I guess you're right."

"And besides." Dutch said as he turned a page on his book and continued reading. "Those little math calculations will come in handy later on in life."

Yin nodded and then took out a plain paper, writing a few notes.

Seeing she stopped complaining and got the picture, Dutch formed a smile. It had been a week since Yin was now living with Lagoon Company. Though she still missed her parents terribly, she was glad to have a place to stay and work, and having two big-sister figures to help her through her mourning and giving her a bit of therapy after feeling miserable when she'd killed Arturo Hernández, the man that killed her parents. Yin smiled brightly and put the math book, pencils and plain paper in her room before going to the tv, turning it on along with her Playstation 2 and putting the game 'Ratchet and Clank' in it to play.

That was when Revy and Laura entered the apartment, having returned from doing a little errand. Revy sighed heavily as she wiped away the sweat from her forehead. "Geez. It's getting hotter each day out there."

Jane took a few steps back, now more scared, being sure they were going to kill her and Theo. Even Theo now stopped typing.

Revy groaned with annoyance. "Ah, man! If we knew that from the start, we wouldn't have come here."

Yin wiped the sweat off her forehead and took another empty seat. "Well, my legs are too tired to walk all the way back to the apartment."

"Well." Eda said with a smile. "You guys are here now anyway, so, want a drink?" Then she offered a glass of whiskey to both Laura and Revy.

Both gave a shrug "Sure, what the fuck." They said simultaneously and took a sip from their drink.

Eda then wanted to pour a drink for Yin too. "Want some too, kid?"

Yin looked surprised. "Uhh... I-"

"Seriously, Eda?!" Revy said with a serious face. "Offering a 13-year old girl a drink?! You make me sick."

Eda chuckled while raising her hands. "I was kidding! No, this glass was mine." She stated before taking a sip. She then took out a cold big bottle of water and offered it to Yin. "We do have water, if that's what you want?"

Yin nodded and took several sips from the water, which helped her to cool down. "Sure."

The next hour, while enjoying the few drinks, while Yin was with her second bottle of water, the 3 woman and the teenage girl shared a few talks, though it was hard for the two gunslingers and ship's girl to concentrate as it was hot in the chapel.

So, challenging how much Revy knows of the Bible, Eda wanted to quiz Two Hands a bit and asked while she used a fan to blow some wind in her face. "Okay, which Bible verse states: 'Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil'?"

Revy rolled her eyes while forming a small smile. "That's easy. Psalm 23 verse 4."

"Nice one," Eda says "Okay, if you could choose one verse from Jesus you love the most, which 1 is it?"

Revy gave some thought. "I say... John 11 verse 25: 'I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying'."

Eda gave a nod "Not bad, Revy."

Laura sighed while taking a sip from her vodka. "I like that verse too. Though I wasn't exactly raised by going to church, I do feel there is a God, and He gave His only Son to die for our sins on earth."

"That's the great thing about Christ," Eda said. "Many religions say 'submit', while Jesus says 'decide'. he gives us a choice and doesn't force us to believe."

Yin however interrupted Eda and stated. "That's not completely true, Miss Eda. The Catholic Church was throughout the centuries responsible for the deaths of millions AND forced many people to follow the Church's rules."

Eda gave a shrug. "Sure, sure, I admit that the church has a bloody history and isn't perfect, but times have changed."

"Like bringing guns, alcohol and foul mouths into the chapel?" Laura teased Eda.

"Exactly!" Eda laughed. Then she asked both Revy and Laura. "Now a more 'personal question' for you guys about the Bible. If there was 1 thing in the Bible you could change, which 1 would it be?"

Revy said "I say that they should rip the part of Leviticus 18 verse 22 out. As it says; 'You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination'. It's kinda dump, if you ask me."

Laura agreed with her girlfriend. "Damn right, baby."

Eda chuckled, agreeing with her friends. "Revy, I couldn't agree with you more."

Eda then glanced at Yin, asking after taking a sip from her drink. "So, what about you, kid? How much do you know of the Bible?"

Yin gave a shrug before crossing her arms. "Almost nothing, if that's what you want to know. My Mom and Dad were both Atheist. We never spoke or taught anything about religion at home."

"Well, maybe that needs to change a bit, am I right, girls?" Eda asked Revy and Laura.

Laura however told while pouring in another glass of rum for herself. "First of all, we don't force Yin to follow the teachings of Christ."

Revy nodded. "Yeah. Well... I sometimes share stories with her from the Bible."

Yin nodded. "I can't say that I believe in God, but some stories from the Bible are nice to hear."

Eda suggested. "Well, whenever you're interested, you could follow the Sunday service anytime. As it says in Revelations 3:20, Jesus will always stand at your door and knocks, waiting patiently. And if anyone hears His voice and opens it, will receive the glory of God."

Revy then tells her. "That's not exactly what that verse says in the Bible, Eda." But then Revy shrugged. "But it makes it sound better." But then told Eda seriously. "And another thing; There is a REASON why this place is called 'The Rip-Off Church'. You know why? Cause it's a fucking ripoff!"

Eda narrowed her eyes at Revy. "Fucking pagan. Who cares what the name is, it's the Word of God that matters."

Revy wanted to give her the finger, but because she felt it was so hot, she didn't have the strength to speak or raise her hand. "Ugh! Fuck, it's hot in here!"

Yin shrugged and told Eda, trying to calm the situation, knowing that everyone but herself was only a bit drunk. "Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll pass. For now."

Eda gave a shrug. "Suit yourself, kid."

Meanwhile, outside

Jane ran as fast as she could up the hill, heading towards the Rip-Off Church with her big bag in hand. She looked back for a moment, seeing in horror that it was Elvis and his men that were chasing her. Jane ran even faster, feeling her lungs were on fire, but kept going, knowing that the Church's protection was her only chance.

When reaching the door of the Chapel, she banged on the door. "Hello! Hello! I'm being chased! Please, help me!" She begged while still banging on the door, Making Revy, Laura and Yin exchange a surprised look.

"Uhm, I think there's somebody at the door, Eda." Yin told Eda.

Eda however showed no interest and called back to the girl that was banging behind the door. "Sorry, we're closed! Go away!"

Jane banged even harder. "I can hear you! Let me in, please! Open the door!"

Revy glared at Eda. "Eda! Don't be so heartless and just open the door."

Eda sighed with annoyance and stood up from her chair. "Ugh! Fine."

Jane kept banging on the door. "Come on! Please! Open this doo-" Suddenly, the door went wipe open, pushing Jane backwards till she hit the ground.

Eda narrowed her eyes at the Indian woman. "What the hell is your problem? Don't you know what Jesus said in Luke 11? 'Don't trouble me. The door's locked.' Got that, bitch?"

Jane was surprised that this nun was so heartless and rough. "Bu-but this is a church, isn't it?"

"So what?" Eda stated. "God's not in today. He's on vacation in Vegas, alright."

As Eda was about to go back inside, Jane begged, but was also a bit more angry and desperate. "You have to help me! I'm not from here! I was kidnapped and forced into the place. I don't have anywhere else to go, there's no one else I could trust. I was told that the church might be able to help. Please!"

Eda however didn't listen and was about to close the door. "Eda! What's wrong with you?!" Laura called out in the back. "Just let that girl in."

Eda glared back at Soldier Girl. "Hey, when God is not here, I make the rules."

Jane was now even more angrier and scared as 3 cars of the Florida Cartel pulled over at the front of the Chapel. She called back to Eda. "Please, just let me in! Aren't you supposed to be a nun?!"

Eda was a bit on a crossroad right now and was thinking. "Hmmm, I'm not so sure..."

Yin raised herself in anger and marched to Eda. "Miss Eda, what's wrong with you, you-"

Suddenly, Elvis pulled out a gun from his car and began shooting, missing Jane and missing Eda as the bullet bypassed her and hit part of the door... and hit Yin in the right arm and fell backwards, making Laura and Revy gasp in horror!

"Look, Sister, we just wanna have a talk with this young lady here." Elvis arrogantly said.

But Revy and Laura, furious at that arrogant, heartless bastard, ran to Eda and threw her gun to her. "EDA!" They called out at the same time.

Eda easily caught the gun and took it from the hoister. "All right!" She said before she cocked it.

Revy and Laura burst out of the door and began shooting at them with justified anger for what Elvis had just done to Yin. "YOU FUCKIN' BASTARDS!" As Eda joined in. "Any idiot that shows up and starts shooting at kids-"

And then Laura added. "Had better be damn well prepared to go to war, YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!"

But even with Yin's arm hurt, she was able to bandage it a bit with part of her own shirt and joined the gunfight, despite her arm hurting. "FUCKIN' A!"

"Shoot them, NOW! Come out and shoot them!" Elvis told his men.

But Lobos told them. "No! Don't shoot! Stay where you are!"

"I said shoot!" Elvis ignorantly ordered his men.

"Damn it!" Eda cursed.

"These guys are pissing us off!" Revy and Laura said together.

That was when a new-comer named Rico called out while running up to them with an M60 machine gun. "Sis, I'm here to help you!"

"That's 'Sister' to you, jackass!" Eda said with anger.

"That's Rico, right? The new guy?" Laura asked, eyeing him for a split second.

"Definitely! Yolanda's told me so much about you guys." Rico answered while preparing his gun.

But Lobos shouted out. "REVY! LAURA, IT'S LOBOS!" Making them stop firing for a moment while he stood up with his hands up. "You can put your guns away now! This is all a big misunderstanding! I'm sure we can…"

But Revy and Laura, still really angry at these thugs for shooting Yin, and Yin herself, angry that they'd shot her, resumed firing, along with Eda, who was angry that these idiots fired on the church. "DO WE LOOK LIKE FUCKIN' IDIOTS TO YOU, LOBOS?!"

"MISUNDERSTANDING, OUR ASSES, YOU COCKSUCKIN' ASSWIPE!" Laura added as Rico fired as well.

"DAMN RIGHT, YOU LITTLE PISS-ANT!" Eda added. "IF YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK AWAY UNHARMED AFTER PUTTING BULLETS IN THIS CHURCH, YOU'VE GOT ANOTHER THING COMING! YOU HEAR ME?!"

Lobos ducked from the gunfire and yelled out. "Oh, dear God! They'll kill us all! We're doomed!"

Meanwhile, inside the chapel

Sister Yolanda walked up to the bottles of alcohol, saying to herself. "My, my, what do we have here? What a mess." She said while picking up a glass before walking up to the door. "Eda! I'm starting to lose patience with you. What have I told you about doing this in the chapel?"

Eda looked at her and tried to say. "Huh! I…can explain."

But Yolanda dropped the glass and got out her customized golden Desert Eagle gun and began shooting, making 1 of the cars flip over. "I'll deal with you later. We'll deal with these fools the same way we do with all non-believers."

"Shit! Let's get out of here!" Lobos yelled in fear, knowing they'll be slaughtered if they stay longer. "You too, Mr. Elvis!" He called his associate.

Though Elvis refused to leave, wanting to tear all those women and Jane to pieces for messing with him no matter what, he was held tight by his men and dragged into a car. In his uncontrolled anger, Elvis swore. "I'll be back you goddamn bitches! I'll make you into dog meat, all of you! AND YOU TOO, JANE! I SWEAR IT!"

As all their cars raced out of the scene, with one even losing its left back tire in all the chaos, Yin ran outside and fired a few more bullets at them while yelling. "YEAH, YOU BETTER RUN, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES! WHEN YOU GUYS COME BACK, I'LL-" But as the adrenaline had run off, the pain in her arm became too much for her and fell on her knees while dropping her gun and held the part of her right arm where she was hurt. "Fuck! That hurts."

While Revy and Laura ran over to Yin to help her, Sister Yolande sighed in annoyance as she checked the now big bullet hole in the Chapel's door. "Oh, my. And who will pay for these repairs? Not to mention the bullets? It's just like throwing money away. I won't stand for it." Seeing that the youngest member of Lagoon Company needed some medical attention, the elderly nun told Rico. "Ricardo, tell Sister Ivy and Sister Megan to come over and help the girl."

Rico nodded while collecting his machine gun. "Yes, Sister." And went to the monastery to call for the nun nurses.

Yolanda and Eda then glanced down at Jane. "Now then... I'd say you have a lot of explaining to do, young lady."

Jane looked with total surprise at the nuns, never having thought that these 'servants of God' are well armed and won't hesitate to shoot and kill, clearly being arms dealers. But the elderly nun had a point and she did had some explaining to do.

Later on

While 2 young nuns, being in their early 20's were busy with taking care of Yin with her wounded arm, putting some stitches and bandages over her wound, Jane was sitting at a chair while Yolanda, Eda, Rico, Revy and Laura were sitting in front of her.

Laura started while she lit a cigarette for herself. "Well, first off; Who are you and who were those crazy amateurs that were chasing you and had the guts to shoot at us?"

Jane sighed and began to tell her story. "My name is Janet Bhai, but my friends call me Jane. Those men that were chasing me are from the Nouveau Laredo Cartel, they're a branch of the Gerolamo familia based out of Florida. I was forced by the cartel to fabricate old dollar bills that were out of circulation. I was never into that sort of business, as I'm only specialized in making forged documents to help poor people move into Europe and start a better life. Though our headquarters is in Turkey, my team is scattered all over the world, but thanks to the internet, that's not a problem. I'm the team's chief organizer. The leader, if you will." Jane explained who she was and who those guys, led by Mr. Elvis, were.

Laura had heard about the Gerolamo family and told Revy and the others. "I've heard of the Gerolamo family. They're a bunch of Cuban-American gangsters that are involved into drug and human trafficking in Miami, Florida."

As Revy gave a nod, taking the lighter to light a cigarette for herself, Yolanda asked Jane. "So, Miss Bhai, what did you screw up to end up being chased by them?"

Jane shook her head. "Nothing! We didn't screw up anything. The problem was that they're a bunch of ignorant neanderthals. They lacked patience." But then she sighed and admitted. "The only thing is, I never accepted this job in the first place. Let's say that our noble work to help the poor and unfortunate souls of this world for a better life in the European Union attracted the wrong sorts of people. A few months ago, we were approached by some of the Florida cartel, telling them they had die hard evidence against us and wanted to blackmail me and my team. I didn't fall for it at first, but then they became more violent and eventually they kidnapped some of my team members and showed me these awful pictures of them being tortured like animals and I was even forced to watch one of them having 3 fingers cut off!" But that memory was almost hard for Jane to bear. Trying to collect herself while cleaning her glasses, Jane told further while putting her glasses back on. "Then I was contacted by this selfish ignorant Cuban-American who calls himself 'Mr. Elvis' and showed me all the kind of evidence he has against me and my team, telling me he would go and share it to Interpol, not to mention he told me he would send even more fingers and toes to my other team members if I refused. Not wanting to risk their lives, I unfortunately accepted. Though we were close to make perfect counterfeit money, I became more and more suspicious if that 'Elvis guy' does even have that kind of hard evidence against me and my team as we've always been very careful with erasing our tracks on the net."

Revy, though feeling bad for her, guessed what Jane was planning. "So, I guess you were trying to buy enough time with your bullshit to find a way to screw them over and disappear?"

Jane nodded. "That was what I was planning to do. However, Elvis and the others were 1 step ahead of us. 1 night they suddenly busted into our safe house and kidnapped both me and my operator Theo from Germany. We were blindfolded and tied up for God knows how long. Then, when they finally had removed the hoods and robes, we found ourselves in this part of the world, with Elvis saying it was only so that we won't try to escape and they would have a better eye on us to keep our part of the deal. Theo and I tried as hard as possible to be very slow with our progress to try to buy more time and find a way to escape those neanderthals."

Eda, Revy and Laura exchanged a glance, with Eda saying "Well, I say it's your own fault you got into this mess."

Revy agreed with Eda on this one. "Yeah, you didn't think ahead that they were simply just trying to make you scared to work for them while the so-called evidence against you and your team was a fake."

Though that angered Jane, they had a point. "Yeah, it's my own fault. Including that my operator Theo is now dead. Last night, Elvis came around again in our little apartment where we're not even allowed to leave and held as prisoners. Seeing that Elvis was onto us that we were trying to screw him over, he shot Theo and threatened to kill me too if I wasn't going to finish those printing plates." Then Jane formed a little smile. "But what those Cuban dipshits didn't know, our work was already done over weeks ago." But then she sighed and looked down, feeling guilty for Theo's death. "But we didn't say anything to those guys, fearing that they would kill us anyway if we handed over those plates."

Yolanda nodded, seeing the whole story and told Jane. "Young lady, the Lord has guided you here. And you're very fortunate." Before she then pointed with her head to Revy, Laura and Yin, who was sitting next to Revy with her now bandaged arm. "Those 2 women and the girl are part of a team of escape specialists. And your fee can easily be paid with those plates of yours." Yolanda offered.

Jane thought about it. "Well, I hate to give these plates to someone so it can be used for human's greed. But I'm pressed for time and I could better use them as a bargaining chip, so I guess I can't afford to be picky. Excluding my escape costs, I sell it to you guys for 30 grand."

Revy and Laura shared a glance, seeing that 30,000 would be over budget, even if Dutch was with them. Yin allowed them to make the decision, as she doesn't know things yet about making deals.

"What do you think, baby?" Revy asked Laura.

Laura however sighed and told Jane. "Sorry, Jane. But even if our boss was here, he would decline that expensive deal too."

Yolanda gave a shrug. "Well, you're on your own, Miss Bhai. Go make your request to some other god."

That made Jane snap. "What?! I don't get it! Aren't you people servants of God, or something?!"

Eda, also not showing being impressed, said. "In Luke 16, He says; 'I tell you; Make friends for yourselves with worldly wealth'."

Though Revy glared at Eda for still refusing to help Jane, she told the Indian girl. "I'm sorry, Jane. But 30 grand is way over our budget. Though me and my girlfriend would be glad to help you, we still have a business to run. I'm sorry."

Jane sighed and took her bag. "Fine. If that's how it is. I'll try and find a way out of this city myself." But as she walked over to the front door, she said. "But I thank you for saving me from a difficult situation." She then stopped and told Yin as she glanced down at her. "And... sorry about your arm."

Yin gave a shrug. "That's okay." She then formed a grin. "At least I think I'll have a cool scar later on."

Jane thought that sounded a bit weird and went over to the door. "Uhm... right."

"By the way, before you go?" Laura asked. "Where are you planning to stay for the night with those brainless goons on your tail?"

"I'll manage." Jane assured them without looking at them and kept walking over to the door.

Yin however stated. "Trust me, Miss Jane, I'm born and raised in this city. And I tell you, if you go to any of the usual motels, then you're guaranteed to end up in the morgue tomorrow morning."

Hearing that, even from a 13-year old girl, scared Jane, to think how badly she would be killed if Elvis and his men got her. Or worse, what they plan to do with her before killing her.

Eda however formed a grin and told Jane. "Not to worry, I know a safe place for you to stay. There's this cheap shithole that's called 'Rampsap Inn' on the other side of Chalquam market. Tell them that Eda from the church send you and they'll give you a room, no questions asked."

Jane was a bit unsure if she should trust her and wondered. "Why are you telling me all this?"

Eda then pointed out. "Hey, I didn't say that this information was for free. Leave a 300 dollar donation in the offering tray on the way out."

That earned Jane a small smile. "I see. So this is a church after all. I can agree to that." She then took out 3 100-dollar bills from her wallet and left it at the offering tray before opening the door and left, going to the motel that Eda told her where she could be safe.

Revy and Laura both raised an eyebrow at Eda after Jane had left "What was that all about, Eda?" Laura asked. "First you didn't want to help her and now you're all 'Eda the Saint' all of the sudden."

Eda gave a shrug while she chuckled while Yolanda formed a smirk. "Very well done, Eda. That tree will bear golden fruit. So don't lose sight of her."

"Yes, Sister." Eda said with an equal smirk and took her phone, going to call someone. "These naive foreigners are so easy to manipulate."

"What the hell, Eda?!" Revy said with a rising anger, seeing that look on Eda's face that she's planning something dirty again.

Not long after, the guy who Eda calls picked up the phone. "Hi, Leroy! Long time no see! You know that girl that Lobos and the guys are chasing after her? Yeah, the East Indian girl."

"What the fuck?!" Yin said in anger to Eda.

Eda ignored her and her 2 other friends. "Say I knew where she was. What would that info be worth to you?"

"You're playing dirty!" Revy said.

Meanwhile, in an emergency room

Elvis was talking to 1 of his best men from Florida named 'Groovy Guy' Russell. "You actually know where she is?"

"Yes, boss." Russell answered.

"That bastard Lobos is a fuckin' coward. I want you to go instead."

"Yes, boss."

"Listen, Russel, these people are damn savages, all of 'em! Even the fuckin' nuns were shootin' at us!" Elvis before his ribs began hurting, making him lay back down. "Damn it all to hell. I gotta get outta this fuckin' rathole of a city and get back to a civilized Florida, ya hear? I've had enough of this shit already!"

"Yes, boss."

"Russell, you capture that Indian girl and bring her to me no matter what it takes. You got it? When I see her, I'll give her a beating that'll make even abuse seem like paradise!" Elvis arrogantly said.

"Yes, boss. After all, I came all the way here from Florida just in case something like this happened. He'll, in 3 days, you'll be sipping margaritas and laying on sandy beaches. You just leave it to me, cause I'm your Troublebuster: 'Groovy Guy' Russell." Russell arrogantly said before walking out of the room.

Later at night, at the Rampsap Inn

Jane got the motelroom and layed down on the bed, trying to get some sleep when seeing it was 11:45PM, but still in her mind, she still blamed herself for Theo's death and for being so stupid for not realizing sooner that she and her team had walked into a trap, making a tear fall from her right eye.

Meanwhile, in Shenhua's apartment

Shenhua and Leigharch, both lying naked in bed, were sharing some passionate kisses while being in embrace. After taking a shower together (which included Shenhua giving him a blowjob and he performing cunniligus on her) they continued their love making in bed after drying themselves. They'd nearly spend all day in bed, being all romantic while also eating a few things and a couple of drinks.

Shenhua shook her head. "Don't know. But work very important, or I cannot pay for big apartment, right?"

Leigharch sighed as he lay down. "Yeah, guess you're right."

After she'd put on her new outfit and took out her Kunai blades and big knives, Shenhua walked over to Leigharch, planting another passionate kiss on his lips "You just go home, yes? I'll call you when I am done." Then she bit her lip and told him. "Then we can fuck more, or do nice things together, okay?"

Leigharch formed a smirk. "Looking forward to it, baby." He said while softly stroking her ass cheek.

She gave him one more kiss before going to the door and told Leigharch. "Please, don't leave mess when leaving, okay?"

"Okay, Shenhua..."

Shenhua glanced at him one more time and gave him a blow kiss. "Love you..."

"Love you too, baby." Leigharch said before Shenhua left and closed the door. He slowly put his clothes back on and cleaned the bedroom a bit as he promised his girlfriend. A bit later, at the Yellow Flag

Revy, Laura and Eda sat at the bar, taking a couple of drinks. Eda had invited them over and even paid for their drinks. Yin was with them too, drinking a glass of milk.

However, ever since Eda had been seemingly manipulated the Indian girl Jane to go to the Ramsap Inn, Laura, Yin and Revy were angry at Eda for using her into another one of her games.

Eda noticed the glare from her two friends and the Chinese teen and asked. "What's wrong? You guys don't like when your friend pays for your drinks?"

"We know that look on your face, Eda." Revy said seriously. "You're up to something again."

Laura nodded. "Yeah. You better spit out and tell us why you were manipulating that Indian girl."

Eda gave a chuckle and told them. "It's like I said, girls. You've got to be patient." Then she took a sip from her rum. "After all, it's like this; You cook before you eat."

"Cook before you eat? What's that supposed to mean?" Yin asked.

"It's like the slot machines in the casinos, kid. They won't pay out right away, but if you wait till the right moment the coins come pouring out." Eda explained with her usual riddles while forming a smirk.

At that same time, several cars and motorcycles parked near the Yellow Flag bar and all got out, walking to the Yellow Flag. Among them were Shenhua and Rica.

Shenhua friendly greeted her "Hey, sister! Lobos called you in too?"

Rica gave a nod. "Yeah." She then glanced at the other mercenaries that Lobos called in, knowing nearly all of them. However, there were 4 men between them that neither she nor Shenhua recognized.

The first guy had white hair and wore a long black trench coat. The second, being a fat blond, wearing glasses and normal clothes while he smiled brightly. The third, being a large and very muscular guy with very short black hair, a red t-shirt with a communist symbol on its chest, black pants and army boots. There were two army knives attached to his belt, two machine guns, wearing two ammunition belts over his shoulders and had two AK-47's attached to his back. And the fourth, who was completely bald, wearing a brown suit with a black tie, gave an insane smile while carrying a suitcase.

Back inside the bar, Laura demanded to know from Eda. "What are you really planning, Eda?"

"Yeah, what did you really do that Indian girl? Tell us already!" Revy added.

Again, Eda chuckled after finishing her drink. "C'mon. Don't forget, I work for the original trickster. A man who made water into wine and walked on the Sea of Galilee. A trick like this is nothing compared to that." After she paid Bao for the drinks, Eda asked. "Anyway, your car is around the corner, right? Let's go." Before she gestured to them to follow her.

"First, you tell us where we're going." Revy demanded.

"I don't know." Eda gave a shrug.

Revy, Laura and Yin went after her, leaving the bar. "Hey, Eda! We're talking to you, bitch!"

Shenhua and Rica wanted to greet their two friends, but seeing that they were clearly busy with something else, they let them be. And at that moment, when Russell arrived at the bar, Eda bypassed him. Russell looked surprised to see a nun leaving a bar. "Huh? A sister?"

"Hold it!" Laura yelled while going after Eda, with Laura and Revy both bypassing Russell.

"Come back!" Yin added, also bypassing Russell.

Russell was surprised to see a young teenager even leaving the bar at this hour. Finding that was weird, as it was something he wouldn't even see back in Florida, Russell ignored it and went inside. Seeing all the mercenaries sitting at the tables, Russell called "Listen up. Who are the guys Lobos called here?"

"Everyone you see sitting at these tables." 1 of the mercenaries answered.

Russell gave a nod and stated. "Alright then, I'll be giving you your orders from here on out." Before he took out a picture of Jane, showing that she was the target. "1,000 bucks a person. Her name is Janet Bhai and is staying in a motel called the Ramsap Inn. Your job is to bring her back alive. By alive I mean 'not dead', got it?" The he put the picture on the table where Shenhua and Rica were sitting with a few mercenaries. "If she makes trouble for ya, you're free to beat her up. Goddamn it's a job so easy even a job can do it."

However, showing it was a cheap job, Shenhua, Rica and the others were not in for a cheap job. "We not need extra shit from you, stupid cowboyman." Shenhua said as she was not happy with this cheap job being only worth 1,000 dollars. "If I not have free time, I don't accept cheap job like this."

"Why you..." Russell was not taking that kind of tone from Shenhua.

However, the first mercenary defended Shehua's words, speaking out for everybody. "Shenhua's right about that, jackass! Shouldn't you fuck cows back on the ranch?"

That made Russell even more angry. "Damn you!"

Another mercenary added. "You're pretty bossy for someone who's just coming out of a plane!"

"I don't like his style!" A third added.

Russell snapped as he slammed his fists on the table. "Shut up and listen to what I have to say!"

Breathing out the smoke from a freshly lit cigarette from her nostrils, Rica asked Russell with a serious look on her face. "If you want us to listen, you can start by introducing us to the new faces sitting over there."

Shenhua nodded, while one of the mercenaries asked. "Which new guys?"

Rica pointed to the table at the corner, where 3 of the new mercenaries were sitting, with the 4th being gone for a moment. "Those are the new faces sitting over there."

Shenhua nodded. "Oh, you're right, sister. I not seen them before."

The white haired and the happy blond guy with glasses were both having a glass of milk, while the very muscled guy was having a big glass of beer. Where the fourth guy was sitting was a filled glass of whiskey.

"Hey, the three of you." One mercenary asked, which made all three of them look. "What are your names?"

The happy fat guy answered first. "Hi, I'm Claude 'Torch' Weaver."

The very muscled guy gave all of them a stern look and said with his low voice. "Alrik."

The white haired guy said with a mysterious voice. "Lotton the Wizard."

Rica then asked both Lotton and Claude. "Well, mind if I ask why you two are drinking milk?"

"I'm allergic to alcohol. It makes me vomit." Lotton answered.

Claude gave a shrug, still smiling. "It's against my religion to drink."

While some wondered where the fourth guy went, Shenhua asked the three that had introduced themselves. "So, what kind of weapon you three use for hunting then?"

Lotton showed his machine pistol. "This."

Alrik stood up and very quickly drew his two AK-47's, showing like he was a Russian version of Rambo from the 80's. "What about you?" 1 mercenary asked Claude. "Don't tell me that your religion won't let you carry a gun."

Claude stood up, taking out his lighter and held it in front of him. But as he flickered it on, it released a huge burst of flame, going up all the way to the ceiling! "YOU IDIOT! ARE YOU TRYING TO BURN DOWN THE BAR?!" An angry/scared mercenary yelled.

But then, a mocking laughter was heard from the background as Claude put out his lighter-flamethrower. All looked at the back, with a figure coming out of the shadow. It was the fourth guy, now wearing a black/white suit and had painted his face looking like a maniacal clown and showed a big insane smirk. "Hahahahaha! Ha. Ha. Hahaha. Oooh, and I thought MY jokes were bad."

A mercenary, sitting at a table closer to the insane clown, mocked him by saying. "Hey, jackass. Circus is on the other side of town." He chuckled, followed by a few others.

The insane clown raised his finger, glancing at the one that mocked him while still showing his big insane smile. "How about... a little magic trick, my good sir?" Then he took out a pencil and slammed it into the table where the guy was sitting, leaving it upright. "Now watch, everyone, as I make this pencil... disappear..." Before he then suddenly grabs the guy's head and slammed it onto the table, right on the pencil, instantly killing him! "TA DA!" the insane clown said as he dropped the guy's dead body, now with the same pencil penetrating his brain. "It's... It's gone."

Some of the guys, including Shenhua and Rica looked with surprise and shock at what the insane clown just did.

The clown then also added while readjusting his tie "Oh. And by the way, the suit wasn't cheap." And he glanced at Russell. "You ought to know, you bought it."

Russell growls with anger. "Why you...?!"

"And who are you called, Mr. Clown?" Rica asked, though she did feel uncomfortable to be around this maniac clown.

The insane clown again formed a big insane smirk before making a bow. "Mime, at your service."

"And what do you use as a weapon, other than using a freaking pencil to stab Boris in his brains?" One of the mercenaries asked.

Mime, while he chuckled, explained as he held out a switchblade. "You see I'm a guy of simple taste. I enjoy... small blades, gasoline. And my all time favorite..." He then opened his jacket, revealing to be dozens of TNT and dozens of grenades. "...dynamite."

All gasped and took a few steps back, while some grabbed their guns out of fear. "What the fuck, man?!"

Mime laughed, explaining. "Bwahahahaha! Ooooh, look at those scary faces. Relax boys." Before he glanced at Shenhua and Rica. "Ladies." Then turning to Russell. "What's all the fun in sending this whole bar up to the moon? Cause that would ruin... the punch line, right?" He leaned very close to Russell with his big insane smile.

Though Russell tried to remain tough, even he was a bit scared of the maniac clown, Mime. 'This guy's a fuckin' lunatic.'

Mime then gave a shrug and told the others. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get to work, shall we?"

Shenhua gave a shrug "Well, at least we know what we using. Everyone okay with that?"

All the others gave a nod, while Alrik didn't show any emotion. In fact, Alrik wasn't even scared of the clown at all, like his emotions were dead or something.

Everyone began to leave the bar, while Mime told Russell. "Well, it seems you'll be paying for everyone's drinks, Mr. cowboy. Hahahahahaha!"

Russell growled with anger. "Damn it!"

Meanwhile

Laura, Revy, Yin and Eda wait in the car in the alleyway, with Soldier Girl at the wheel and her dear Two Hands in the passenger seat, both smoking a cigarette before Yin asked Eda. "So, miss Eda, why this spot?"

"Cause something very convenient is about to happen for us." Eda answered with a grin.

"Eda, I sewer, you make everything sound immoral!" Laura said after taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke. "So why the fuck are we here? What the fuck are we waiting for?"

"By my calculations, 1 million dollars, give or take." Eda answered with a confident grin on her face.

"More likely another gunfight, which I wouldn't really mind, as I really wanna fuckin' kill the cocksuckers who shot at us today and hurt Yin." Laura said with her cigarette in her mouth.

"Damn right, baby. This nun's been blinded by her own greed." Revy said, also with her cigarette in her mouth. "So who's coming, Eda? Probably nobody, right?"

"Relax. There's no need to get all bent outta shape just because you're bored. Trust me, this is gonna be no problem." Eda assured them before reaching under their tops for Revy's right breast and Laura's left breast, rubbing and squeezing them. "Right, my sexy gunslingers?" She asked before licking their ears.

"Eda! Do not get all horny and try to fuck us both now!" Laura told her while holding back a moan.

"She's fuckin' 13 years old." Revy added.

"Oh, come on, sweeties. Maybe she could join us. She's gonna know about it sooner or later. So, why not just let her see us fuck now and just get the whole The Talk thing outta the fuckin' way?" Eda asked seductively before getting serious again. "Still, I've let you guys wait long enough. I think I can tell you what's going down. So, to start, the place we are right now is the lovely Rampsap Inn. The same place I recommended to the girl who paid us a visit earlier. Guess what: pretty much any minute now, some of Roanapur's finest are gonna come charging into the place, and let me tell you what's gonna happen when they do: the room they'll raid will actually be the room next to hers."

"And why would something so convenient happen?" Yin asked.

"Well, miss Yin, that's easy: because I'm the 1 who gave them the number of the room next to hers. That stupid woman will leap outta bed as soon as she hears the gunfire and then she'll most likely run out to the hallway to see what's going on."

"Well, you got that right. That's exactly what she'd do. Sorry to say, but her survival skills are pretty much non-existent." Revy said.

"Fuckin' A right, baby." Laura said before taking a drag from her cigarette, inhaling and blowing out the smoke from her nose.

"Exactly!" Eda said with a grin. "So it goes without saying she won't notice that her room is the only one behind a fireproof wall. Anyway, the moment she opens the door, she'll be face to face with those dipshits. But if she's lucky, they probably won't have time to figure out there's a wall behind that room either. And if that's true…"

"It's like you gathered all the ifs in the world for this little half assed plan of yours." Revy said with annoyance before taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke.

"Come on, Revy, don't be like that. If she ends up getting killed, then so be it."

"Hey! Watch your fuckin' mouth, Eda!" Laura warned.

"Sorry. But still, unless the girl's completely useless, she'll at least shut the fireproof door. It won't do much, but it'll buy her a little time. A few seconds later, they'll go right through the door, then they'll all storm into her room, only it'll be empty." Eda explained further.

"And how do you know that?" Yin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Because I've given her a way out." Eda answered before explaining how. "If you stretch out on that bed, even once, I guarantee you're gonna see it. You'd be blind not to. Although there's no way you'll ever appreciate its meaning until the time comes. But when it does…"

But the lesbian pirates didn't believe her plan could work. "It sounds too simple to work, Eda. Why the fuck would anybody raly on griffitee to survive."

"Yeah. Look up. Look down. You're a jackass." Revy mocked.

But Eda was still confident. "What's wrong with that? Haven't you both ever heard of keeping things simple?" She asked. "Anyway, that girl's helpless on her own, but if she follows my little game plan, she'll be going for the touchdown. All she needs to do is just follow the signs. So how's that sound, ladies, huh?"

"Sounds like you need your fuckin' head examined." Revy answered with annoyance.

"Fuckin' right." Laura said before taking a final drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke and flicking on the ground, with her dear Revy doing the same. "Nice try, Eda, but we're gettin' the hell outta here." Before starting the car and beginning to back up.

"Wait up! Revy. Laura, I'm serious! That room's worth the last 4 times outta 7." Eda protested.

And, just as Eda predicted, Jane came running right towards them as Laura was backing up, making her stop the car when they saw her. "FUCK!" Revy yelled out.

"Bingo! See, what'd I tell ya? Go get her, Laura." Eda said with satisfaction before Laura backed up again. "What a surprise. Jogging this late at night? Very impressive."

"You? You, you tricked me, you heartless bitch!" Jane said angrily.

But Eda told her. "Not very nice. Also, that's no way to talk to your guardian angel."

"What do you expect? I thought I was gonna die back there!"

"Oh. Is that a fact? Well, whatever. So, do you still want us to save you? Think it over carefully. 'Cause if you don't hand over those plates, there's not much I can do for you." Eda said, using blackmail. "Your choice."

"Eda, you blackmailing bitch!" Laura said with anger.

"Fuckin' A right! How low are you gonna possibly go?!" Revy asked with equal anger.

"30,000!" Jane said.

"Well, look at that, it's almost bedtime. Laura, be a very sexy dear and take me home for a really great night of lustful and passionate fucking." Eda said teasingly, making Soldier Girl growl.

"You monster!" Jane called Eda as bad guys on bikes began catching up. "100,000, then!"

"Not a chance. Hurry, they're after you." Eda said in a sing-song tone.

Jane then gave up, for the sake of her survival. "All right! Fine! Whatever you want, okay?!"

That made Laura stop before Eda opened the door to let her in. "All right. It looks like we have a deal."

"If you don't actually save me, I'm gonna come back to haunt you." Jane threatened while catching her breath before getting in.

The bounty hunters stopped and 1 of them asked. "Hey, Eda, wanna tell us what you're doing here?"

"Hey! What's up? You guys decide to take a long night jog as well?" Eda asked her own question, even though she already knew what these bums were after.

"We have business with that woman there. A useless 1 grand per person job."

"Well, that's an easy way to make fuckin' useless chump change, assholes!" Laura shouted out while leaning out of her window.

"Exactly! So, how about it, Soldier Girl? You, Two Hands and Eda want a piece of that action?" He asked before Laura shot him in the head, killing him as her answer.

"Fuckin' cheap, brainless cocksuckers! I'm not in this job for the money and neither is my dear Two Hands! And even if we were, you assholes better know by now that we don't take jobs that give us useless chump change!" Soldier Girl said with a grin that was just like Revy's.

"Fuckin' A right, Soldier Girl." Eda said with a grin of her own. "And try a million fuckin' dollars, you dead moron!"

"And, unfortunately for you assholes, we're her new getaway drivers and bodyguards!" Revy added while preparing her guns while her dear Soldier Girl backed up.

"Let's light these bastards up, ladies!" Eda said to Two Hands and Soldier Girl.

"FUCKIN' A!" Revy and Laura yelled out before they began shooting at the incompetent bounty hunters, hitting some of them along with their bikes and car, flatting the tires and killing the driver before Laura got the car on the road and headed for the dock.

Hearing that the Indian girl was now being protected by Eda from the Rip-Off Church and the lesbian pirates of Lagoon Company, one mercenary crossed his arms and said. "It looks to me that things are getting more complicated for us, boys."

"Complicated ain't the half of it!" The mercenary that got shot stated. "Now it's the bitches from the Rip-Off Church and Lagoon!"

Mime chuckled while forming an insane smile. "Well, by the sound of it, it seems that deer hunting just turned into tiger hunting. This is starting to get very interesting."

Shenhua and Rica shared a glance, with Shenhua quietly whispering to her. "I say we leave now and ditch these assholes and maniac clown."

Rica agreed and whispered quietly back. "Yeah. I'm not gonna go and kill our dear sisters. Not even if they offer a million bucks. Let's get out of here."

But just as Shenhua and Rica wanted to quietly walk away while the other mercenaries were distracted, Russell arrived with the car and got out with anger as nobody was going after Jane. "What are y'all waiting for?! Get off your asses and go after them!" Then Russell saw Shenhua and Rica were about to leave. "Hey! You two bitches! Where the fuck do you think you're going, huh?!"

Shenhua and Rica stopped, with both glancing back to Russell, with Shenhua telling him. "Cowboy. Deal is off. We not gonna waste free time for shitty 1,000 dollar job like this. We leaving."

That made Russell to snap. "What the hell?! Are you two such little pussies that you can't handle two bitches?!"

"Just like Shenhua said. We're leaving," Rica repeated and gave Russell the finger "So go fuck a horse in Texas or Carolina, cowboy."

But as Shenhua and Rica turned and were about to leave, they stopped as the big muscled Russian Alrik was standing in front of them, looking down at them with a very serious face, not moving an inch away. "Sounds like you two are close to those women, aren't you?" Alrik asked with suspicion.

The mercenary that got hit nodded, confirming Alrik's suspicion. "Hey, yeah, that's right! Shenhua and Sawyer know those bitches from Lagoon, like they're BFF's, or some."

Hearing this, made Mime form another big insane smile. "Well, well, well. This night is getting even more interesting."

Though Alrik was towering over them, Shenhua asked him while holding one hand on one of her machetes "You want stop us, Rambo-guy?"

Alrik didn't answer, still giving his same serious look. But after 10 seconds, he bypassed the two women, seemingly letting them go and walked over to Russell. While Shenhua and Rica left, Russell glared at Alrik. "Damn you, you Ruski! You wanna tell me why the fuck you let them go, when-"

But very fast, Alrik grabbed Russell tight by the throat with just one hand and easily lifted him up. As Russell choked, Alrik told him with his none-emotional face. "Situation has changed. You raise our payment. Give us all 30 grand each, or we all leave." Then he held his face closer to him and said with a very serious look, as if Russell was facing death in person. "Get this in your head, brainless cowboy. You are not in the USA anymore. You are in Roanapur now. You're just a little fish in a small pond of sharks. We ain't little fish like you. We all are sharks. And right now... blood has dripped in the water and we are hungry. So don't even dare to go cheap on us."

While he choked, Russell said "O... Okay. Okay..."

Alrik released him, letting Russell drop on the ground as he gasped for air.

Mime tiptoed over to Russell as he insanely smiled before tapping on Alrik's shoulder. "Nice job, 'Rambo'. You really know when to 'raise the stakes'."

But Alrik glared at him very seriously. "Tap me on shoulder one more time, I rip both your hands off, crazy clown."

Mime stopped tapping Alrik and took a step back, showing a bit of a scared look, before he insanely smiled again. "You sure ain't kidding." Then he glanced at the others. "I like this guy." But then he too got serious and told Russell. "Well, you heard the big fella. You call that idiot Lobos and you better pay 30 grand each ahead."

Meanwhile, with Shenhua and Rica

While driving in Rica's car, Shenhua said with a bit of relief. "That would have turned bad. I thought that big guy was gonna fight us."

Rica nodded. "Me too." But then she told what her detective-mind was telling. "Now that I think of it; if it's the Rip-Off church that's now taking that Indian girl as their job, there's got to be a very good reason for it. Especially since both our sisters are involved with it too."

Shenhua began to think and said. "I say we go and visit sisters at Lagoon office. See that maybe we get even bigger cash than what cheap cowboy wanted to give us."

"You read my mind, Shenhua." Rica said and drove, heading towards the harbor.

At that same time, in the Lagoon Company's car

"Where are you taking me now?!" Jane demanded. "Is this another trap?! Even if you try to up the price, I'll..."

Eda assured her. "If I wanted more, I would've gotten it." Before she then told Jane what she had in mind for her. "I'm taking you to your getaway pod as an arrangement. So sit back and enjoy the ride, okay? Once you're off, you can say goodbye to the wonderful world of Roanapur."

Jane sighed, trying to calm herself. "Well... the sooner I'm out of this crazy city, the better, I suppose."

Yin then told Jane. "Just to let you know about that little 'trap' that was set back in the Ramsap Inn, that was all Miss Eda's plan, not mine or Revy or Laura's, okay? We had nothing to do with it."

Laura nodded and added. "And trust me, Jane, we're all three still mad at Eda for using you. If things would've been different, you would've been out of the city even before nightfall."

Eda defended her decision and told them. "Hey, c'mon now, girls! This deal is gonna make you and Lagoon Company a lot of money. Try to see the good part in that."

Revy groaned with annoyance. "You were always a greedy bitch, Eda. Even if you're our friend."

Eda gave a chuckle. "I'll take that as a compliment. Sure, I can be greedy sometimes, but I can still have fun, right?"

"I'm not sure, Eda." Laura said. "Right now, you're on thin ice."

"Not to worry, I got here for you both cash up front." Eda held up 2 packs of dollar bills, with each being 10,000. Revy and Laura both took 1.

But then Yin narrowed her eyes at Eda. "Hey! What about me?!"

"Oh, right... almost forgot about you." Eda said and handed her some money too "Here, have some pocket change, kid."

As Yin took it, it was only 500 dollars. She frowned at Eda. "Ugh! Cheap bitch."

Eda shrugged and stated. "Once you're older and have more experience, Yin, I may consider some day to raise the payment."

Jane gave all 4 of them a short glance, raising an eyebrow as she mentally thought 'These women and the girl are the strangest people I've ever met.' But then she smiled at Yin, Revy and Laura. 'But they're at least nice and aren't heartless like that cheap nun.' But then Jane noticed that they were driving towards a port. "The ocean? A port? A boat?!" She asked them. "What kind of boat? Is it fast?"

Laura answered with a little smile. "It's the fastest torpedo boat in these waters, Jane. Rest assured."

But Yin began to feel a bit awkward and told everyone. "Uhm... I hate to tell this to you people, but... the boat isn't at the dock."

"What?!" Eda asked in shock.

Later, as they arrived at Lagoon Company's dock, all saw, confirming what Yin said. The Black Lagoon was gone. "No! NO! This isn't happening!" Eda yelled frustrated. "This isn't how it was supposed to go! The most important part of the plan isn't even here?!" She stamped hard on the floor. "FUCK!"

Laura and Revy shared a glance, with Revy asking Yin. "Why didn't you tell us that Dutch and Benny were gone with the boat?"

Yin gave a shrug. "I didn't know that Miss Eda wanted to hire us to use the boat to take Jane out of the city."

Laura sighed. "She's got a point." She then glared at Eda. "Maybe you should've told us your little 'plan' a bit sooner? You dump bitch."

Even more frustrated, Eda kicked over an empty bin. "MOTHERFUCKER!"

Laura shook her head while crossing her arms. "That's what you get for not being honest with us, Eda."

Revy then led Jane upstairs. "C'mon. I'll contact our boss and let him know what's going on."

Jane gave an uneasy nod. "That's... reassuring."

That was when another car pulled over nearby. Revy and Laura heard it and took out their guns when their instincts kicked in and aimed at whoever had arrived. Jane shivered in fear as she took cover behind the stairs, with Yin reaching her hand to her gun, even though her arm still stung because of the bullet wound from earlier today.

But when a car door opened, Rica stepped out with her hands in the air. "Wait, don't shoot! It's me!"

"And me!" Shenhua stepped out, holding her hands up too.

Seeing it was their friends, Revy and Laura put their guns away. "Oh, thank God. It's just Shenhua and Rica." Revy said.

Laura and Revy went over to them. "What are you girls doing here?" Laura asked.

Inside the office, a few minutes later, after Shenhua and Rica told their sisters what happened, having been paid to go and hunt for Jane with dozens of other mercenaries, including 4 new ones they didn't see before, with 2 of them giving them the chills, especially the maniac clown, Mime.

As Eda sat on the couch, she laughed after hearing what their rewards were for bringing Jane back to the Florida cartel, but then figured they could use a few extra hands when it came to escorting Jane out of the city, and began to make Shenhua and Rica a very tempting offer. "Well, ladies, I got yourselves an offer which is definitely worth your time, far better than the cheap price you were promised earlier. What if I tell you that that Indian girl is having her hands on plates that can print perfect counterfeit money, which is worth millions?"

That got Shenhua and Rica's full attention and sat on the couch too, listening to what she and the Rip-Off Church would reward them when they had those plates from Jane. "If you guys help us around and get the girl to safety, she will hand over those plates. You will get 150 grand. Sounds a lot better than that cheap 1,000 that was promised before, right?" Eda offered while she lit up a cigarette for herself.

That made Shenhua smile brightly. "150 grand?! Oh, I'm in, sis!"

Rica chuckled "150,000 dollars? You can count me in. But I'm more doing it just to help our dear sisters around." She said while she glanced at Laura and Revy.

So, while Revy was going to contact Dutch about the situation, Yin opened the fridge and offered the new guests a drink. "You guys want something to drink?"

Eda however showed no interest as they only had beer in the fridge. "Look at that. All you guys got is piss." But her eyes got her attention on some expensive liquor on a bookshelf. "Although, I can't help but to notice you guys got some Ardbeg Providence. I'll take some of that."

Laura shook her head, telling Eda. "I wouldn't take that if I were you, Eda. That's Dutch's. Believe me, If he notices that someone has been taking his drinks, he's gonna be very mad. And trust me, you don't want to have a madman like Dutch on your ass."

Yin nodded while going through another closet. "Yeah, Dutch gave me a very clear statement when I began to walk the crew around." She held up a different bottle and took a few glasses. "Will Jim Beam do? We got plenty of this around."

Eda gave a shrug. "Yeah, sure."

"I can use a drink too." Rica said while lighting up her own cigarette. "And I definitely need a smoke right now because of that shit that happened to us earlier with those dipshits."

Dutch, who'd been informed of everything, asked over the radio. "Revy, is Eda there too?"

"Yeah, she is. Sorry to cut you off like that." Revy answered.

"That's all right. Now where were we? Oh yeah. This job you and Laura picked up; it's getting ugly. That sound about right?"

Benny then informed Dutch. "Okay. We got everything on board."

"Yeah. Eda's here and we got weapons. But Shenhua and Rica are also here, so we got extra help and weapons on their part." Revy said while looking at Shenhua and Rica with a smile.

"Well, that's some good news."

"I know we just picked it up, but if we wanna get back to port ast enough, we'll have to dump this cargo." Benny told them both.

"Yeah, we might have to." Dutch agreed. "But we'll need some compensation for breaking the deal."

"Good. The Rip-off Church'll handle that. Right, Eda?" Laura asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, whatever, I won't be that much." Eda answered with a sigh.

A bit later, on the Lagoon

Dutch had contacted Lobos, who said to him. "Dutch, I'm sorry. What more can I say?"

"Okay, Lobos."

"We might be from the same country, but we for sure don't speak the same language." Lobos explained. "These guys don't realize they're little fish in a shark infested pond over here. They just don't get it."

"Guess not." Dutch said in agreement. "But when it comes to criminals, Roanapur attracts the very worst of the worst. Hell, it's definitely rubbed off on all of us. A little time with some real criminals should teach your dumbass friends a lesson."

"So, please, give me just a little more time."

"All right." Dutch said before breaking contact. "Hey, Benny-boy, you hear that?"

"Yeah, every word." Benny answered. "These guys have no idea of the demonic energy they're about to unleash. Let's hope we get there in time."

"I hear ya."

But then Benny said to his employer and friend. "So, Dutch. You know how you were saying that this city has rubbed off on all of us? I always thought I was the exception to that. Well, me and Laura, kinda."

"Think again, Benny-boy. I sensed it all along. Something lurking deep down inside the both of you." Dutch said otherwise. "Why do you think I employed you and her?"

"Thanks for that. But I gotta remind you that it was because of Revy that Laura joined us, not you. Maybe you think you employed her, but she joined of her own free will." Benny reminded him. "But you were right about sensing something in Laura. She did have something lurking in her. But Revy did too and she helped her bring it out. But, in the process, she brought out the good side of Revy that we, along with everybody else in this city, never knew existed."

"That's technically true, Benny-boy, but let me remind you that I'm the boss of the Lagoon company. And so, that makes me Laura's boss, too." Dutch said.

"Yeah. Keep telling yourself that, Dutch. But we both know that, without Revy, Laura wouldn't be here right now."

Meanwhile

While sitting over an hour, Shenhua and Rica began to get to know Eda better while they shared a few drinks. Eda chuckled before she rose up and went to the bathroom. "I need to take a piss. I'll be right back."

When Eda was gone, Shenhua asked Laura and Revy. "Nun Eda seems fun. Why you guys never take her with you when we all go out?"

Rica gave a nod. "Yeah, you two and Eda seem very close. You should invite her over and we can hang out together. I'm sure that Cynthia would like her too."

However, Revy and Laura shared a bit of a serious look on their faces. "Believe me, sisters." Revy began to say. "Despite the fact that Eda is our friend, we don't trust her enough to join our group."

Shenhua gave a shrug "I understand that. It always been the five of us. But I don't mind to have a six woman to have fun with,"

Laura however gave Shenhua a serious face. "Shenhua. There is... a very big reason that we don't invite her over."

That made Shenhua and Rica look with some surprise, but seeing that their 2 sisters were serious, then wondered what it could be. Yin was just there, listening, being confused about what Revy and Laura knew about Eda.

Revy glanced at Yin, telling her. "Hey, Yin, why don't you go and check on Jane for a bit, huh? Trust me, you shouldn't hear what we're saying right now."

Yin understood and rose from the couch, taking her diet coke and another soda for Jane with her and went to the storage room where Jane had been for the last hour ever since they arrived at the Lagoon office. When entering, Yin saw that Jane was really serious with typing something on her laptop.

Jane looked and saw it was Yin. "Oh. Hey there." But then she returned to her screen. "I'm kinda busy here."

Yin gave a shrug and offered a soda to Jane. "Sorry, Jane. Revy and Laura insisted that I should check on you."

Jane sighed and took a sip from the soda, which helped her a bit. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." Yin said with a smile. But as she sat down, she gave a yawn and rested her head against a few soft boxes. "I'm gonna take a little nap." And fell instantly asleep.

Jane glanced at the sleeping 13-year old Chinese teenager. Wanting to be sure she was sleeping, Jane put her soda down and poked her, but Yin didn't respond. "Huh. She's a deep sleeper." Before she returned to her laptop. "Gives me some time to get to the programming." And began typing again. "Space. Scan with box. TSIG root-authority. Auto 1. 192,168. DNS?" She hoped that this was the right code. "Uhm... is this it?" Before she pressed ENTER, but her screen showed an error and her screen began to change. Jane looked very worried as she could no longer get into her own account. "No good. The port shell's been booted now. I can't even get into my own account. I don't believe this." Jane said worriedly, cursing her deceased programmer for what he did to the security system. "Thanks a lot, Theo. I'm in really big trouble now thanks to your precious programming skills." In her mind, she began to think while trying again. 'If those women find out that I can't get those plates anymore, they're gonna kill me!'

Meanwhile, outside

The assassins had found their target and knew that it was too quiet as Lobos had pulled out and got out of his car. "Damn it! How long is this gonna take?! Would y'all hurry up and–" Only to be cut off and stopped by Mime, who held out his arm and shushed him.

2 men with guns and another 1 with a minigun quietly went up the stairs and the 1st 2 took point on both sides of the door, allowing the 1 with the minigun to shoot it so much that it was completely destroyed!

2 of the men went in before Revy and Laura pointed 1 of their guns at their heads. "Didn't your Mommies teach you to knock 1st, brainless asswipes?"

"Stupid bastards." Revy added after her dear Soldier Girl before they shot them both, killing them before they stopped the assassin with the minigun from firing by jamming its spinning mechanism with 1 of each of their bullets, allowing Shenhua to slice off his head with 1 of her machetes!

The other killers began firing upon the building as Revy, Laura and Eda began shooting back. "Damn it! What is up with that?! Why did they have to use our car as a shield?!"

"Sorry for your loss." Eda said.

"FUCK! THESE COCKSUCKING JACKASSES! WE JUST HAD IT FIXED AFTER THAT FUCKING BITCH OF A HOUSE MAID TORE IT TO HELL!" Laura yelled out in extreme anger, as even thinking about the soldier-maid who'd almost killed her dear Revy made her very, very pissed off.

But, while shooting bullets, the car began to leak gas, causing the assassins behind it to run before it was shot and exploded. "Fuck!"

"Now you've done it, Revy." Eda said.

Revy called to the youngest of the team, seeing if she was okay "Hey, Yin!"

"Yeah!" Yin answered while taking out her gun while Jane was scared for her life while covering her ears.

"Damn it! Those fuckers are everywhere!" Laura angrily called while shooting back "Jane better be brought somewhere more safe than here." She suggested.

"I agree, baby." Revy agreed and told Yin. "Yin! Do you think you can make it to the back door with Jane?"

Yin nodded while checking her gun to see if it was loaded, which it was. "I'll try." Before she took Jane's arm and pulled her with her. "C'mon! This way!"

"Wait!" Jane pulled back, taking her bag with her computer and other stuff before running to the back door with Yin.

"This way!" Yin said as they made it to the back door.

But suddenly, the door was blown open, causing Yin and Jane to be pushed back and fall on the floor because of the blast! "YIN!" Laura and Revy called.

"I'm okay." Yin said while she groaned, trying to get up. Jane was also okay.

But from the smoke, caused by the explosion, a small box was thrown inside, landing just before Yin and Jane. On the side of the box, was a small lever that began to spin slowly on its own, making the box give a small music tone, before a scary puppet jumped out of the box that gave an insane laugh, scaring Jane. But then, from the puppet's head, a grenade was shown that was about to explode any second!

Yin gasped and quickly stood up, kicking the box with the puppet-grenade out through a broken window before it landed in front of one of the mercenaries, who screamed before the box exploded! But Mime, coming through the broken door, formed his usual insane smile while taking out his knife, scaring Jane as the maniac clown approached her and Yin.

Yin was looking through her pocket, but realized that she lost her gun in all the chaos. "Oh shit."

"What are you waiting for?!" Jane screamed out of fear. "Shoot him!"

Yin shook her head. "I... I lost my gun!"

"What?!"

Walking over to them, with their backs to the wall, Mime evilly chuckled before holding up his switchblade. "Can't take a joke, ladies?" Before Rica quickly took her chainsaw, turning it on and rushing over to help Yin and Jane. But Mime saw it and quickly grabbed an iron bookshelf to protect him from Rica's chainsaw while he insanely laughed. "Hahahahahahaha!"

Revy and Shenhua saw this and tried to come to Rica, Jane and Yin's help but they had to remain low from the incoming bullets. "Damn it! You guys alright?!*

"At the moment, I'm holding this insane asshole off, but probably not for long!" Rice answered.

While Yin tried to find her gun to help Rica fight Mime, Jane tried to rush to the door leading to the dock, but was stopped by Torch, scaring her as he lit up his flamethrower lighter and she rushed back inside while being scared for her life.

While Rica and Mime were still fighting, Laura kicked a box over to Eda. "Eda!"

Eda opened the box and saw a grenade launcher. "Well, well, you guys held out on me. We could've used this an hour ago, bitches." She said while preparing to fire it.

"It was supposed to be for sale!" Revy told her.

"Well, I can't see how that matters now. You only live once, right?" She asked before firing the grenade launcher at the shooters on the roof, killing some of them.

Meanwhile, Revy was able to shoot at Mime, but he managed to dodge her bullets by running back from to the door he blew up before, while he skipped to look for cover from Revy's bullets and Shenhua's kunai blades, he mocked them by singing his little song. 'Up and down the City Road, In and out the Eagle, That's the way the money goes...' He sang as he then threw a few burning dynamite sticks at Revy and Shenhua, making them look for cover before the sticks exploded, causing some damage to the office. "POP! Goes the weasel! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Fuck! I hate clowns!" Revy cursed the damn maniac clown for mocking them.

"I agree. Never like clowns too, sister." Shenhua added.

Yin manages to open the ladder leading to the roof. "Up here! Hurry!" She called Jane, who quickly climbed up. Yin was just about to climb up while she called to the others. "C'mon!"

"Go ahead!" Laura said before she shot another mercenary, killing him. "We'll hold them off for a while longer." But she then pulled back before a sniper could blow her off head before all 5 women, with their backs close to each other, all kept their eyes out for any more of those guys. "Shit!" Laura said. "When you stick your head outside, it's like open season."

"It's the same thing with the front door," Eda said while reloading her gun "They got 2 or 3 snipers out there too."

"Not to mention that there's a crazy clown outside that throws dynamite sticks around like candy." Rica added.

But then, Shenhua smelled something burning. "Hey, something's burning here."

That was when Eda saw black smoke coming from the door leading to the dock. "Hey! Where's all this smoke coming from?"

The others looked, seeing that black burning smoke came from the door. "Give me a fucking break!" Revy cursed. "That just isn't fair." As down at the dock, Torch was using his big flamethrower to start a fire, trying to lure the ladies out. "1 of these assholes must've set fire to the dock exit." Revy said.

"Which gives us only 1 option, seeing that the other exits are blocked by more of those assholes," Laura said. "That's to go to the roof."

Shenhua shook her head, knowing that that's no good use. "Not good plan. That final line for us."

But then Alrik showed up, using his 2 AK-47's to shoot through the window, causing all the 5 women to look for cover. "What the fuck?!" Laura cursed.

"Is that you, Russian Rambo?!" Rica asked while preparing her chainsaw.

"Good guess, little young Goth." Alrik answered from the duct outside the window.

"Rica, you know that guy?" Revy asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Not really, but he's surely not someone to be underestimated." Rica answered, as her detective-feelings were telling her that he was like a Russian version of Rambo.

"You said Russian Rambo, right, Rica?" Laura asked.

"Yeah. That's what my detective mind's telling me right now." Rica answered.

"Fuck. And I thought Rambo kills Russians. Didn't think they actually had their own Rambo." Eda said with humor.

"From sound of him, he using duct as foothold." Shenhua informed them.

"Right now, Russian Rambo is the least of our problems." Revy said while looking at the smoke coming through the door. "That's not a campfire down there."

"Shit! This place won't last much longer. We need to draw out Russian Rambo before he draws us out with those AK-47s." Laura said before telling her plan. "Listen. Revy, Eda and I can get that guy off that duct and have him run right past the front door. Meanwhile, Shenhua, you use 1 or both your machetes to take his fuckin' head off his shoulders."

"Good plan, baby." Revy said with a smile before giving her a good luck kiss.

"Let's do this." Eda said with admiration for Soldier Girl's tactical skills.

"Fuckin' A." Shenhua said with a smirk.

Laura, Revy and Eda then rolled from cover and began shooting the wall, making Alrik run towards the door as Soldier Girl expected. "He's heading your way.

"Got it." Shenhua said before she saw him and threw both her blades to cut his head off.

But Alrik simply grabbed the knife with his bare hand and crushes it while saying with a serious face. "That's no knife." Before he then took out a big Swiss Army Knife. "This is a knife!" And threw it back at Shenhua, cutting her arm. Rica then charged in with her chainsaw, but Alrik saw her and kicked her in the stomach so hard that she flew backwards and hit a wall hard. Alrik then called Mime to make his move. "Clown! Now!"

Laura and Revy pretended to go after Mime while Eda and Shenhua were the last ones facing Russian-Rambo, with Alrik punching Shenhua nearly unconscious while grabbing Eda by the throat and choking her, with him saying that he can easily rip her throat out. "I can easily rip your throat out like bones from turkey, nun."

"Hey, hey, wait a minute. Don't you wanna hear what I have to say 1st?" Eda asked, trying to make a deal.

"Sorry, nun, I'm not letting you buy more time."

"Oh, you'll definitely go to hell for killing a nun." Eda told him.

But Alrik only grinned evilly and said. "I don't believe in God."

Then Revy and Laura burst through the window together and shot at Alrik, hitting him in the chest multiple times, causing him to fall off the building and fall on the ground, seemingly dead. "Good riddance, Russian Rambo."

"Let's get Shenhua and get to the roof." Laura said.

Meanwhile, on the roof

"What do we do now? It's not like we can go any higher. Do you at least have a plan?" Jane asked Yin.

"I'm thinking about it!" Yin answered with frustration.

"Just great." Jane complained.

Meanwhile, with Dutch and Benny

As the Lagoon boat was getting close to the mainland, Dutch was looking through his binoculars while Benny was at the controls. "Almost at the Port. Should be there any minute."

"All right. See anything yet?" Benny asked.

"All I can see right now is the Budda and the city lights." Dutch answered before seeing something he didn't like. "Hold on a sec. Is that… Ah, shit, that's just fucking perfect."

"What's wrong, Dutch? They finally drop an A-Bomb on Roanapur?"

"I wish. But it'd be a whole lot better than this." Dutch answered. "If that were it, at least I wouldn't be the only 1 gettin' fucked. Look at this shit! Some damn idiot's started a bonfire on my dock! Motherfucker!"

Back at the battle

On the roof, Yin and Jane hear the door open. Both look but are shocked to see it is Mime, giving a big insane smile while he chuckled and approached them with his hands in his pockets.

Jane, very afraid, shook Yin. "Shoot him! For fuck's sake, SHOOT HIM!"

Yin took out her gun but missed him 3 times, before hearing only clicks, seeing her gun was empty, shocking her. "Fuck!"

Mime chuckled. "Hahahahaha. Someone wasn't counting." Before he took out his switchblade as he stepped on the roof, with both Yin and Jane stepping back.

Yin saw that the floor was weakened because of the fire, making her form a grin while she mentally thought. 'That's it, you fucking clown. Just a little bit further.'

But Mime stopped before taking another step, having already noticed how the roof's structure was weakened, making him just stand there while he grinned. "Oh? You thought I would fool for a trap like that, little girl? Nice try, but I'm not as stupid as you think I am."

He walked around the weakened spot and slowly climbed down, getting closer to them, with Jane taking more steps back while Yin stood her ground. "I'm not afraid of you, clown!" Yin said confidently while going in her battle stance.

Mime stopped, being amused by Yin's courage. "Hahahahaha. You really wanna fight big boys, little girl?" Before he put his blade away and leaned over to her while he chuckled, like he was allowing her to take the first blow. "Go ahead. Punch me. Right here." As he pointed to his cheek.

Yin was about to punch him, but Mime grabbed her arm and threw her hard with her head against the roof, nearly knocking her unconscious! Jane gasped in horror. "No!"

Mime then glanced with a big evil smirk at Jane. "Now... where were we?" He asked as he approached her, taking back his switchblade while Jane tripped backwards, being so afraid as this maniac clown was going to hurt her badly. Mime just stood there for a moment, before he grabbed her by the hair and pulled her up. He chuckled as he looked at her, even her cleavage for a moment. "Well, you sure are beautiful for a nice young lady." Then he sighed as he asked, seeing she was still afraid. "You look nervous. Is it because of the paint on my face? Wanna know how I got my inspiration for it?"

Jane shook her head, still very afraid.

Mime grabbed her by her cheek, while holding his switchblade close to her face, saying seriously. "Listen! Look at me." He sighed as he began to tell her. "I had a wife once. A young, beautiful, good one, just like you. Who tells me..." He began to get angry and tighten his grip on Jane. "...that I need to be more FUNNY! Smile MORE!" Then he gave a shrug. "Figures, as I used to work as a stand-up comedian on stage. Never wanted to become anything else ever since I was a little kid. I always tell her, 'you know I try hard, sweetheart. Work is just hard to get these days'. But one day, after a little 'failed' performance and I didn't provide enough money to support us, my dear young wife said to me: 'You're NOTHING! You're a little loser who can't do anything right!'." he sighs as he said with a growing insane smile "That moment... I calmly told her, 'Please, honey. Don't be mad. Laughing is the best medicine in the world'." Then he turned very angry. "She began to yell and called me all kinds of words! They were so loud that I... muted those insults... and then... I grab her... and place this... in her mouth..." As he held his switchblade up. "...and said. 'Let's put a smile on that face!'"

Jane was even more scared, nearly crying.

Mime chuckled. "Then... I finally saw the funny side. So I stabbed her... again... and again... and again... and again! And now... even in death... she always smiles." Before he tapped her on the cheek, saying softly. "Ah, don't worry, my dear. I'm not going to kill you now. I'll leave the honor to Mr. Elvis. Of course, he said if she causes trouble, we can beat her up a bit. So… before I take you to him..." He held his switchblade close to Jane's mouth. "Let's put a big smile on that face!"

Jane's eyes went wide. But then, as the fire reached the high-octane gasoline, causing a big explosion which distracted Mime as he looked back. With all her strength, Jane kicked Mime hard in the nuts, hurting him causing him to let her go while she screamed in fear and tried to get away from him, but trips and falls again, close to Yin.

Mime, first groaning in pain, began to laugh. "Hahaha... hahahahahaha!" Before he glances at her with a big insane smile. "You got a little fight in you. I like that...!" Before he began to walk over to her. "I think I won't put a smile on your face..." Then he pressed his foot on her chest hard, preventing her from escaping as he leaned close to her with his switchblade close to her face. "...I think I'll pluck your eyes out, make you crawl before Mr. Elvis."

He raised his switchblade, ready to stab her eyes out as Jane screamed. But then... Rica appeared and used her chainsaw to cut off Mime's arm!

"AAAAAAARGH!" Mime screamed in agonizing pain while blood splattered all around, even coming on Jane's face, disgusting her.

Rica then kicked Mime off the roof! But as Mime fell down on the ground, he insanely laughed while falling down. "BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA-" Before he hit the ground, he was silent.

Rica looked down, seeing Mime lying on the ground while a pool of blood formed around him but still showed his inanely large smile while he coughed and laughed "Hahaha...! Hahahahaha...!"

"Fucking clown." Rica said before getting out 2 grenades that she got from the office, pulled the pins out and dropped them down to Mime's dying body before they exploded, blowing him up. She then went to Jane, offering her hand. "You okay?"

Jane, still disgusted with the blood on her face, wiped off the blood from her face before taking Rica's hand, while she gave a small nod while she was shaking. "Ye-yeah... I... think so..."

Revy and Laura, both having climbed on the roof, checked on Yin. Luckily, she wasn't badly hurt, only had some headache. "Ow... my head...!"

"Easy now, Yin." Laura said while she and Revy helped her up.

Shenhua, as she got up the roof with Eda too, asked. "Hey, where did crazy clown go?"

Rica a grin while holding up Mime's cut of arm. "Oh, he offered his hand." She said as a little joke before the others gave a small laugh, while Jane only gave a small chuckle while still disgusted with all the blood stains on her clothes.

But suddenly, the roof began to collapse and all were sliding down as someone spoke from the other side. "I am here to take your life! And who, you ask, is the Specter that stands before you? My name is Wizard. Lotton the Wizard. And while I have no grudge against you…" But in his monaloging, Revy shot him, making him fall off the roof. And as the building collapsed, a large portion was about to crash on a barely alive Mime, with him laughing out loud before all the crashing debris killed him instantly and finished him off.

Revy and Laura checked on Yin before seeing that Dutch and Benny had arrived. "THE BOAT!"

"About fuckin' time." Eda said while walking with Rica and Shenhua and Jane.

"Good. They're headed straight for us." Laura said before telling everyone. GET TO THE PIER!"

But as Revy, Laura, Shenhua, Rica, Eda, Jane and Yin made a run for it to the pier while being shot at by Russell and his remaining men, 1 of them shot Shenhua, shocking everyone. "SHENHUA!" Revy, Laura and Rica yelled out.

Yin then helped Shenhua and they continued to run to the boat, with Laura, Revy and Eda shooting back, hitting some of them while Dutch fired a grenade launcher and hit a few of the assassins before the girls all jumped on the boat. "Touchdown, Dutch!"

"Hit it now, Benny!" Dutch called out.

"You got it!" Benny said before doing just that.

"Get back here!" Russell yelled out as he and some of his men jumped on the boat before it could fully get away.

"Damn it! Some of those pricks made it into my boat!"Dutch called out.

"Rica! Take Yin and get Shenhua and Jane inside!" Revy told the young girl.

"Got it!" Rica said before opening the hatch. "Yin! Jane! Shenhua! Quick! In here!" Before Jane and Yin helped Shenhua into the hatch before going down themselves, shutting the door behind them.

Meanwhile

Lotton woke up from his nasty fall, finding Alrik bleeding, however, Alrik was able to take the bullets out of his chest himself before offering his help to get him to a doctor, which Alrik appreciated. Then both glanced at the dead body of Mime, feeling he finally got his final laugh after all before they left the area.

Meanwhile, in the hospital

"LOBOS!" Elvis screamed. "Get your ass in here, you piece of shit!"

Lobos came inside, looking worried. "Yes, boss?"

"Where the fuck is Russell?! What's taking him so long?!"

Lobos gave an uneasy shrug, trying to explain that things in Roanapur aren't as in Miami. "I tried to tell ya, things are not going to be easy for him."

"FUCK THAT!" Elvis said as he wasn't going to take that bullshit, feeling that he's the one who's going to be fucked when he doesn't provide the plates made by Jane to Don Geralamo as he'd promised. "I'll be eating the shit sandwich when I have to go home and explain this to Don Geralamo!"

"I understand how you feel, but-"

"SHUT UP!" Elvis interrupted him. "If you're looking to die and keep playing stupid, just keep talking! Otherwise, CALL HOME AND GET ME SOME GODDAMN SOLDIERS!"

Lobos was shocked that Elvis requested something as crazy as this, knowing that this would only cause more problems with both the Triad and Hotel Moscow. "Bu... but that's crazy! You're gonna start up a war with both the Russians and the Chinese."

"I DON'T GIVE A FUCKING SHIT! NOW GET ME TO A GODDAMN PHONE! I'LL BE MAKING THE CALL!"

Lobos gave an uneasy nod and left the room. "Uhm... sure, Mr. Elvis. I'll be right back."

When he closed the door behind him, Lobos sighed, seeing that Elvis had completely lost his mind, letting the anger, arrogance and ignorance get the best of him. Sure, the Geralamo family might have lost a lot of money now that Janet Bhai is out of reach and they won't have those plates to make counterfeit money, but what Elvis now wants… was beyond reason. Lobos felt he had to try to contact Don Geralamo himself behind Elvis' back and explain what was going on.

Meanwhile, back with Lagoon Company

As Revy, Laura, Eda and Dutch were engaging Russell and his men in a gunfight, Russell found the hatch to the engine room and opened it. "There's a hatch here. I'm going down. You guys take care of their gunmen, all right?"

"You betcha." Torch answered before standing up and shooting his flame thrower at them.

"Damn. I'm going back to the controls." Dutch said.

"What the fuck, Dutch? We're short-handed as it is!" Laura said with a bit of anger.

But Dutch grinned and explained. "I'll take them to the Radio."

Revy and Laura liked that plan. "Well, sounds like fun, Dutch. Let us know before the show starts."

Meanwhile, below deck

Yin rushed to get a first aid-kit along with some bandages and handed it over to Rica. "Here."

"Thanks." Rica said as she took the first aid-kit and told Shenhua, who lay on the couch. "Keep the pressure on, Shenhua."

Shenhua coughed out some blood while holding her hand on the bleeding bullet wound on her belly. "Will do."

While Rica put on a surgical mask, plastic gloves and some medic tools, Yin worriedly asked. "Do you... do you know what you're doing?"

Rica ensured her while removing some of Shenhua's dress, revealing the bleeding bullet wound. "Relax, Yin. I know all about the human body's anatomy, which makes me a more efficient killer when cutting people into pieces. Or, in this case, help them." But before starting treating Shenhua's bullet wound and using a small towel to clean away the blood, Rica asked Yin. "You guys got some Chloroform on board? Cause this is gonna hurt Shenhua."

Yin unfortunately shook her head. "Sorry. We only have the medical supplies I gave you. We're not exactly a hospital, Rica."

Rica however gave an understanding nod. "Right." Before she turned to Shenhua, saying with some pity. "Sorry, Shenhua. This is gonna hurt a lot I'm afraid."

Shenhua nodded while she shook a bit. "It... it okay, sister...!"

"Do you need some help?" Yin asked.

Rica raised her hand, letting her know she'll be fine before using 2 clamps to check the wound, which made Shenhua groan in pain.

Yin gave a nod. "Okay... just let me know if you need any help. I'll go and check on Jane." The Chinese teen said as she left the room.

Shenhua groaned in pain. "Aaaaargh!"

"I know, I know, Shenhua," Rica told her "I need to see how bad the damage is before doing anything."

Yin went into the room where Jane was. The Indian woman rubbed her head. "Ow, my head...!"

"You okay?" Yin said before apologizing. "Sorry for rushing you like that."

Jane sighed. "I wished you'd thought of that before you rushed me head in first."

That was when Benny peeked inside and came in. "So, Dutch is back behind the wheel again. I take that this is our guest?" Benny asked with a smile before walking over to Jane and introduced himself. "Welcome aboard the Lagoon. Everyone here calls me Benny."

Jane blinked for a moment, finding this guy named Benny cute, making her blush a bit before they shook hands. "Hi... I'm Janet Bhai. But... call me Jane."

Benny gave a nod. "From what I hear is that we've got some uninvited guests on board at the moment, and a wounded one that one of the ladies is currently helping now." Before he then ensured Jane while showing her to his room. "But you can relax and stay in my room until this all blows over."

Jane walked into Benny's room, followed by Yin and Benny. Jane was surprised by seeing all the electronic equipment, harddrives and several computers he had, which somehow... fascinated her.

But Benny gave her a little warning. "Oh and please don't touch any of the hardware in this room," he said as he closed the door behind them. "I'm serious. Not a thing."

Dutch then contacted Revy and Laura. "We're about to start the Rodio. You ladies ready?"

Laura and Revy tied themselves with a robe to a part of the boat, along with a third one for Eda. "Just wait for a moment, Dutch." Laura said. "Yin and the others down below need to know too."

"I'll do that." Revy said as she contacted Yin and Rica through her headset. "Girls, if you hear this, then you guys better hold on to something as Dutch is about to start the rodeo with this boat!"

"Serious?!" Yin said through the headset in surprise. "Okay!"

"What?!" Rica called with some surprise too through a walkie-talkie that Laura gave her. "I'm in the middle of removing a goddamn bullet out of Shenhua's stomach!"

"Aaaaaargh!" Shenhua yelled in pain which could clearly be heard through the headset.

"I'm afraid you have to, Rica, or we're all be fucked when this is over." Revy said through the headset, feeling sorry for Shenhua, but now they had no choice. She pulled Eda to her and handed her a robe. "Here, Eda, hold on to this."

"What's going on?" Eda asked, confused.

Seeing that they were all set, Laura contacted Dutch. "Alright, Dutch. We're ready. Make this bull dance!"

Dutch then made a massive turn that caused the boat to lean sideways enough to send some of the gunmen off the boat and into the water. "Havin' fun yet, Eda?!"

"You could've warned me, Soldier Girl!" Eda answered before the boat leaned straight again.

But 1 of the gunmen, who was still on board, shot at them. "DIE, YOU BITCHES!"

"Fuck off! You think this is exciting?! Wait till I put 1 between your eyes!" Revy said, shooting at him before running out of bullets.

"Pretty lame, Revy! You outta bullets? Shit, if I can take you out, I'll be a savoir in Roanapur by killin' you and making things back to normal!"

That was when Laura came in from behind him and pointed at his head. "You forgot, asswipe: whoever threatens my dear Revy, pays the price, served up by the Soldier Girl!" And put 2 bullets in his head killing him before throwing him off the boat.

Back below decks

Rica, holding Shenhua tight to the couch, asked her. "You okay, Shenhua?"

"Yes…sister." Shenhua answered before Rica resumed her work.

Meanwhile, in Benny's room

Jane, laying upside down after the whole 'bull ride' together with Yin, groaned while asking with some annoyance. "I have a question; is this how you guys normally drive?"

Benny, who checked if any of his hardware was still intact, answered. "Nah, this isn't typical."

Yin however laughed, having actually enjoyed her first 'bull ride' on the Lagoon. "Hahahahahaha! That... was cool!"

Back on deck

"Never doing that again." Eda said before Revy stood beside her dear Laura.

"Laura and I'll take the fat pyromaniac up here." Revy said.

"All right. But there's 1 more rat onboard that snuck into the engine room." Dutch informed them.

"Eda, he's yours." Laura said to her sometimes friend.

"Sure thing, partners." Eda said with eagerness.

Back in Benny's computer room

Jane asked Benny, who was busy on his computer. "So, how long before we'll reach the port we're heading to?"

"I'd say roughly 8 hours." Benny answered.

"Okay, that's good. That should give me plenty of time." Jane said before she asked Yin. "Hey, Yin, can you give me my bag? I need my laptop."

Yin looked at her with a raised eye. "But... I don't have your bag."

That shocked Jane. "Don't have it? What do you mean?!" Before she then turned angry "Are you fucking serious?! Why on earth didn't you take it with you?!"

Now Yin turned angry and yelled back at her. "How's this my fault?! If it was so important to you, why didn't you bring it yourself?!"

"You just don't get it, do you?!"

"WHAT!?"

Benny tried to ease the situation while still busy on his computer. "Don't get rough, okay, you two? You'll damage the electronics."

Jane and Yin however didn't listen while Jane angrily told her. "Don't you understand?! I can't do anything without my laptop! Without it I cannot access the web and then I won't be able to... to...!" Before she was lost for words, knowing that she now couldn't download the plates.

"Unable to do what?!" Yin demanded, still not being happy for being yelled at.

Meanwhile

Russell kicked the door to the engine room open as he called out. "Jane! Where are you?! Come on out, now!" And when he tried going through the front door, he couldn't. "Shit! Shit! Shit! There's no way through the front door? Well fuck you!" He said before grabbing a big wrench and beginning to break the engine. "I'll show you who's boss. And when this is all over, I'm gonna drink till I go blind and fuck expensive women till my balls hurt!"

But that was when Eda said to him from the ladder while playing with her gun. "Wow. That sure does sound like fun, cowboy. You must be 1 of those texan studs. But before you do all that, maybe you should talk to God and ask Him what it's like to fuck expensive women with your balls blown off."

Back with Revy and Laura

Two Hands and Soldier Girl jumped to avoid more fire from Torch's flame-thrower. "Dutch, he's covering our field of vision with his fire."

"We need another bull ride. Think you can do it?" Laura asked him. "Gotta admit he's quick for a lardass."

"Damn right, baby." Revy agreed before they avoided his fire again. "We'll signal you once we've lowered him to his grave."

"Got it. That's easily done on my end, but are you 2 gonna survive?" Dutch asked his most lethal employees.

"That depends on your timing, Dutch." Laura answered with a grin.

Back with Eda

The Nun and cowboy hitman exchanging bullets and words. "Don't push me, you damn nun! I'm sick and tired of dealing with you bitches!"

"Well, tough shit, you son of a bitch! If you don't like us, then get the hell off this boat!"

"No can do! THOSE PLATES ARE MINE, SHITHEAD!"

"Shut up! THOSE PLATES ARE MINE, SHITHEAD!"

Meanwhile

"You don't actually have them?" Benny and Yin asked Jane at the same time.

"The plates are lost in the ocean of the web." Jane said sadly. "The work had already been completed, so all there was left to do was collect the engineering data from our team members around the world and create them. But now that Theo's dead, I can't access any of it. The encryption is automatically changed every day. I give up."

"We've already been paid, so it doesn't change anything for us. But…" Yin said with worry.

"Yeah, the problem's Eda. As soon as she finds out that you don't have the plates, she'll find a way to crucify you that'll impress Jesus Christ himself." Benny added with equal worry for Jane. "And unfortunately, jokes like that have a way of coming true in this part of the world."

Jane then had a thought. "Then…can I use your computer?"

"No can do." Benny answered.

"Why not? You are so selfish!"

"Sorry, but the answer's no. Turns out, my machines are very sensitive and they don't like anybody messing with them but me." Benny answered again. "But…if I were using it, that'd be a completely different story." He said before he put a disc in and began hacking, which made Jane fascinated as she saw how talented Benny was in hacking, which went even further than her own skills.

Back with Revy and Laura

The lesbian pirates dodged more fire from Torch's flame-thrower and he said with overconfidence. "Shucks. I sure do get a kick outta chasing young ladies like yourselves, but these old legs can't keep this up much longer. Why don't you both give up? I promise I'll just toast you lightly." He said as Two Hands and Soldier Girl strapped themselves up. "I'll make it quick! My wife didn't even take 5 minutes to cook. I'll be happy as I can be once I smell your skins burning up fried chicken and rice! And would you just look at this weather we've been getting? It's the perfect day for those kinds of foods."

And when he shot flames again, Revy and Laura called out to Rica and Shenhua. "Rica! Hold on to Shenhua again. We're going for another bull ride!"

"Got it!" Rica said before doing just that.

"DUTCH, NOW!" Revy called out before Dutch did the Bull ride again, making Torch try to hold on but couldn't as he was sent flying off the boat before Revy and her dear Laura shot him together.

"You're a rocket man now, asshole!" Laura yelled out as Torch was hit through his stomach, making his fuel tank explode and finally killing him before the boat leaned straight again.

Back in the engine room

Eda pointed her gun at a disarmed Russell. "From the sounds of it, my partners just took care of fatty. So now, you're the only 1 left, cowboy. If you try to resist, I'll blow your brains out and toss you in the ocean."

"Okay. Okay." Russell said before putting his hands up, knowing he was beaten. "Well I'll be damned. How am I gonna explain this to the boss?"

"I don't think you'll have to worry about that. Lobos will find a way to take care of him." Eda, was without her glasses because of the Bull ride, assured him. "He understands how things work here in Roanapur."

"We talking about the same guy?" Russell asked with an arrogant grin. "The Lobos I know, he don't stand chance." He said before looking closely at Eda's eyes.

"What?"

"Seen you somewhere before." Russell said before thinking back. "Florida. No, it was in Washington DC, I'm sure of it!"

"Oh yeah? Well I've never seen you before in my life. I was born in Alabama. I've never even been to DC." Eda told him.

But Russell thought otherwise. "Fine. Then I saw a woman who looked exactly like you. I didn't recognize you before on account of them glasses and that outfit. Now, when was that?"

"You better stop right there, cowboy." Eda warned.

But then it came back to him. "That's it! It's all coming back to me now! It was that damn senator!"

"So, that woman; shecwss having a dinner with the senator, right? Along with several other major players in Washington at a French restaurant."

"Yeah, that's right!" Russell confirmed. "But wait. What were you doing with a senator?"

"At the time, she and her superiors were there to discuss classified business. Perticuller, there were concerns on the hill about a number of member states within the O.A.S who opposed the signing of the agreement." Eda explained hypothetically while picking up her glasses and putting them back on. "She was there to discuss how to deal with them. I'm afraid you're mistaken, it's not me. I'm just a goddamn nun from the Rip-off Church. But I'll tell you 1 thing, and this is God's own truth: I wasn't born in Alabama, my hometown is actually Langley, Virginia."

That was when Russell realized. "You're CIA!" Before Eda shot him between the eyes, killing him!

Back in Benny's computer room

Having cracked the Gost-code and all the info was beginning to download, Benny cheered. "Tally-ho! It was a Gost-Code!" He chuckled. "I have to admit, Jane, your now dead operator was indeed skilled, but couldn't match against my kung-fu."

Jane smiled brightly, seeing that Benny indeed had performed the impossible and managed to download all the data she needed for the plates.

Benny then turned to Jane, asking with a smile. "There you go, I'm in. So what's my reward? I must be getting-" But he was interrupted when Jane held his cheeks, looking at him with a beautiful smile... before planting a kiss on his lips, which surprised him.

Yin raised an eyebrow, though not expecting that Jane would 'reward' Benny with a kiss. "Wow."

When Jane broke the kiss, Jane smiled at the surprised Benny. "You're so cute. Watching you breaking the codes... It really turns me on. Where the hell have you been all my life?!" Before she then gave him another kiss, which became more passionate. But this time, Benny allowed the kiss and returned it.

Yin rolled her eyes in annoyance and left the room. "How very romantic. I'm out of here." And shut the door.

Meanwhile

As Eda climbed out of the engine room, Revy and Laura walked over to her. "Hey, there you are. Sure took you long enough." Revy said.

Eda didn't look but gave a simple nod. "Yeah."

Laura then wondered. "So I guess you've sent that goddamn cowboy straight to hell?"

Eda glanced at both of them, forming a smirk as he held up Russell's cowboy hat, with a whole in it. "He's put out of our misery."

"Right. Let's see how the others are doing," Laura suggested before Revy nodded and followed her, with Eda coming with them.

Below deck, on the couch, which had lots of blood stains now on it because of Shenhua's bleeding, Rica did the last few stitches on her wound. Rica sighed when she was done. "There. I did all I could. It sure as hell wasn't easy to take both the bullet out and stitch that stomach of yours."

Shenhua, looking very tired as she had to endure a lot of pain without any sedation, gave a small cough as she said. "Thank you... sister..."

Rica formed a small smile before taking her plastic gloves off and stroking her head "You just hold on, okay, sis? We'll get you to a doctor." And then helped Shenhua to lie on another couch that wasn't messed up with blood. Shenhua still groaned in pain as she lay down with Rica putting a blanket over her.

Just then, Revy, Laura and Eda came into the room, seeing the lots of blood. "Jesus...!" Revy said.

Rica assured them. "She'll make it, for now..." Showing a serious and worried face, Rica stated. "Once we get to port she needs to get to a hospital right away. I managed to get the damn bullet out of her stomach and stop the bleeding, but she seriously needed to get checked. I gave her some painkillers to deal with the pain." Before he then sighed. "I just hope she'll make it."

Laura embraced Rica, ensuring her. "Hey. You did all you could do. And we're proud of you, Rica."

Revy nodded and embraced Rica too. "Yeah, without you... Shenhua would've been dead by now."

Rica returned the hug while she gave a small sob. "Yeah..."

Eda then asked. "Say, where is that young girl and that Indian girl, Jane?"

Rica answered while slowly breaking the hug. "Yin wanted to help, but... guess she couldn't take it seeing all the blood, so she went out. I didn't mind. But as for Jane... I have no idea where she is."

That was when Yin came in, looking tired and said "Benny is keeping Jane company in his room, being cuddly and kissing..." She said with a bit of annoyance.

Hearing that surprised Revy and Laura. "Seriously? Our Benny and... Jane?" Revy said, before she smiled. "Well, it's about time that Benny-boy got himself a gal."

"Guess so." Laura said before she checked the time. "We'll make it to port in a few hours. So I guess we should just relax and rest."

Yin nodded while she gave a yawn. "Yeah... I think I'm gonna close my eyes for a bit." Before she walked out of the room, going into another room to catch some sleep. "Wake me when we get there, okay?"

"Sure, Yin." Revy said.

Laura then said with some anger as she glanced at Shenhua who was hurt, thinking of the fucking guys that almost killed her and them, feeling hatred for the one that sent them to kill Jane and started all this trouble in the 1st place. "Either way... that asshole named Elvis is going to have to pay for all that he's done." Before she then thought of the one that could provide her the help they needed.

Revy thought the same thing. "I guess we should call Big Sis and ask for a little... favor."

Later, in the control room

Dutch allowed Laura and Revy to call Balalaika for the favor to teach Elvis and his Florida scumbags a little lesson for messing around in Roanapur.

"Hmmm. That Elvis sure sounds like someone who just doesn't know how things work around here." Balalaika said through the phone. "And honestly, your timing couldn't be more perfect, Soldier Girl and Two Hands. In fact, since we're on good terms with the Florida cartel for making drug shipments to America, Don Geralamo had actually called me as he heard some disturbing news from Lobos that this Elvis had caused. And frankly... he doesn't give a damn what happens to Elvis as he tried to make counterfeit money without his permission."

"So we take it that you'll do this little favor for us, Big Sis?" Revy asked.

Balalaika thought about it for a few seconds, before she answered. "Sure. I will make sure that he'll be taught a little lesson before we'll put him out of his misery. But... you owe me a favor in return. No." Balalaika corrected herself. "2 favors in fact. I will contact you soon."

Revy and Laura understood. "We'll wait for your call then." Laura said. "Thanks, Big Sis."

"Don't mention it." Balalaika said.

Meanwhile

In Balalaika's office, back in Roanapur, Balalaika hung up the phone before glancing at Lobos, who was summoned by Balalaika after Don Geralamo called her.

Lobos stated. "I'm sorry, Miss Balalaika. It's just... Elvis doesn't know how things work around here, and letting his anger and ignorance get the best of 'em."

"I appreciate your honesty, Lobos." Balalaika said with a serious face before she stood up. "But, honestly, I'm not waiting for your apology. I think your business partner owes that to me, for causing so much devastation."

"Uhm... sure. I see." Lobos said with some nervousness.

Balalaika then told Boris, who was in the office as well. "Comrade sergeant. You know what to do."

"Yes, Kapitan." Boris gave a nod and walked out of the office, joined by a team of other Hotel Moscow members, leaving the building and headed to Roanapur General, to pay Mr. Elvis a little 'visit'.

Back on board the Black Lagoon

As some time had passed, Rica and the others tried to clean some of the mess that was left after Rica's little surgery with Shenhua, and also some of the mess in the boat caused by Dutch's 2 bull rides. They kept Shenhua some company, who was still as shit, but thanks to Rica's help, she perhaps would pull through.

While Revy, Laura, Rica and Eda smoked a cigarette, Eda asked. "Say, girls? When will you guys finally invite me over to join you?"

Laura, Rica and Revy glanced at her. "What do you mean?" Laura asked her with her cigarette in her mouth.

"You know, cause the 5 of you, Rica's girlfriend included, always go out and have fun. I mean, c'mon! I'm your friend too." She told Revy and Laura. "And I can be fun too." That made her form a grin. "Cause I thought I'd proved that to you both several times... in the bar... or in the bedroom?"

Revy, Laura, Rica and Shenhua (who was awake at that time) all shared a glance. And after 10 seconds, Laura told Eda. "All right, you can join us."

"Sweet!" Eda said happily. "I knew you would come around-"

"But on 1 condition."

"You've got to ditch that fuckin' nun's outfit if you ever going out with us." Revy added before taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke.

Eda raised an eyebrow, but then smiled. "Really now? Well, hell, why didn't you guys say so before? I would've come in any other outfit if you just asked me."

Saying as a joke, Laura teased her while forming a grin after taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke from her nose. "Even if we asked you to come butt-ass-naked?"

Eda chuckled before forming a lustful smile. "Hmmm... perhaps I would." But then she laughed, knowing that Laura was only joking. The others laughed a bit too, Shenhua did too, but stopped because the laughing only made the pain worse.

Many hours later, at Songkhla

As soon as the Black Lagoon had reached the port of the Thai city of Songkla, an ambulance brought Shenhua to the nearest hospital. Luckily, as Rica had removed the bullet out of her stomach and treated the bullet wound, the doctors ensured that Shenhua would make a full recovery.

The nurse told Rica. "I got to say, Miss Sawyer, you truly saved her life."

Rica felt glad to hear that and a tear of joy fell from her eye. "Thank you."

Meanwhile, behind the hospital

Jane, who was now wearing some of Revy's spare clothes, handed over a flashdrive to Eda. "Here. All the data to make the plates for counterfeit money, as promised."

Eda chuckled as she put the flashdrive in her pocket. "Very good. This'll sure make some good money for the Church."

"Whatever." Jane said while rolling her eyes. "If it wasn't for me needing any help to escape from those Neanderthals, I would've deleted those goddamn blueprints so no one would touch them."

Eda gave a shrug. "I'm sure you would, but I'm glad you didn't. Now, I got what I wanted and you got yourself to safety."

Laura and Revy then came over, with Jane asking them. "How's your Taiwanese friend doing?"

Laura ensured. "The doctors said that she'll make it, but she's got to stay in the hospital for a couple of days. We wanted to stay with her until she recovers, but..."

At that very moment, Leigharch stepped out of the taxi, looking insanely worried and rushed over to the front door.

"Hey! You're gonna have to pay, asshole!" the taxi driver angrily called.

Leigharch rushed back over and gave him some dollars. "Here! Keep the change!"

Laura and Revy saw Leigharch rushing into the hospital. "Hey, isn't that Leigharch?" Revy asked. "Shenhua's friend-with-benefits?"

Laura chuckled as she told her girlfriend. "Actually, they aren't really friends-with-benefits anymore, baby."

"Really?"

Laura nodded. "Yeah. Cynt and Rica told me that they're an official couple now."

Hearing that, made Revy to chuckle. "Well, it's about time, if you ask me."

"Yeah. Leigharch will keep Shenhua company while recovering." Laura stated. Then she turned to Eda and asked. "Now, about our payment?"

Eda raised her hand. "Yeah, yeah, don't worry. I'll call Sister Yolanda and you all receive your payment on your accounts."

"Right," Laura said before asking Jane. "What about you? What are your plans so far?"

Jane sighed as she stated. "Well... I'm thinking that... after everything has happened, maybe me and my team need to take things more carefully in the future. It's my fault that me and my team got blackmailed by Mr. Elvis and that my operator Theo died." But she then smiled at them. "But anyway... thank you for what you did for me."

"No problem." Revy said. "You wanna stick around a bit longer?"

However, Jane kindly declined the offer. "That's kind of you, but... I would rather be leaving as soon as possible. I think I'm gonna go back to my home-country for a little while and stay low." Then she saw Benny talking to Dutch, making her form a small smile while she blushed. "But first... I gotta say 'thank you' to my dear Benny first."

Jane went over to Benny. Dutch saw her coming and left the couple some privacy. While Revy, Laura and Rica went to see how Shenhua's doing and Eda left to call Sister Yolanda, Jane and Benny shared a passionate kiss.

After Benny broke the kiss, he asked her. "You really got to go now?"

Jane gave a sad sigh. "I have to, Benny. I don't usually don't stay for too long at other places." Before she then gave him her card, which had her secret chat-code and email address. "But we'll keep in touch, right?"

Benny smiled as he took the card. "I sure will! We can chat and keep in touch. But... you will come over to visit, if you want?"

Jane gave a shrug. "Yeah... I would love that. But for now... best for me to just lay low for a while." Before she gave him one last passionate kiss. "Bye-bye, Benny-boy!" Before she then left and took a taxi to take her to the airport.

Benny sighed as he watched her leaving, forming a small smile while he formed a blush. This day was really crazy, but in the end... Benny felt like he'd found the woman of his life. He felt... he was in love... and Jane felt the same thing about Benny.

6 days later, back in Roanapur
