AN: I know Halloween is over and trust me I would have written this chapter last week like a few days before Halloween. But I been dealing with personal stuff lately. So even though I'm a week late and Halloween is over, I have decided to write this chapter anyways since Halloween isn't over in this story.
All day Tara has been spending her time at the club house, mostly in the kitchen getting everything ready for tonight. After thinking more about it and after talking to Jax. Tars decided to have the haunted House in the club house instead of having at their place. Which was her original plan. But when Tara pitched the idea to Lyla and the rest of the old ladies. Lyla was the one who suggested that they should have the haunted house at the club house instead as long as Jax and the rest of the guys were okay with it and as long as everyone promises nothing goes wrong tonight. This haunted House is for the neighborhood kids and of course for Abel and Thomas. Well for Abel anyway since Thomas is still too young and Tara just wants everything to go perfect tonight.
After Tara placed the last batch of Halloween cookies into the oven and after she closed the oven door and set the timer, Tara made her way into the compound as she looked around and noticed all the prospects were working hard on the haunting house.
" Wow, guys. This place looks amazing. The kids are gonna love it." Tara said as she looked around. As Tara was looking. around she noticed that there some coffins around the compound. She also noticed that there was skeletons hanging around and even spider webs and of course fake spiders along the walls.
" Thanks Tara." Drew the newest prospect responded with a smile." What time are the kids coming tonight? " He asked as he put the final touches on the spider web.
" The parents are gonna bring their kids around seven tonight. Now are all the guns and everything else put away and locked in a safe place! " Tara asked as she wanted to make sure every weapon in this club house is no where to be found. The last thing Tara wants is for some kid to find a gun somewhere in this club house, and accidentally shoot himself or anyone else for that matter.
Rat boy another prospect nods his head as he answered Tara's question. " Don't worry. Every gun and every knife is packed and locked away in a safe place. Nothing is gonna put those kids in danger tonight."
Tara nods her head. " Good to know. Alright I'm gonna head over to the store real quick before I head home. Can one of you guys take out the last batch of Halloween cookies out of the oven, in like ten minutes? " She asked as she was heading out of the door.
" No problem Tara." Rat boy responded with a nod as Tara walked out of the club house. As Tara walked across the lot towards her car, Tara stopped for a moment as she noticed a very familiar blue car pulling into the lot. Tara blew out a breath as Nero Padilla was the very last person she'll ever expect to see around here. The last time Tara saw Nero was at Gemma's funeral and that was almost six months ago.
" Wow, never really expected to see you around here again." Tara said the moment Nero stepped out of his car and walked up Tara.
" Yeah, well I was sorta in the neighborhood and I thought I would come by and check the place out. I guess in a way I sorta miss this place. You know?" Nero asked with a shrug. " So how you been doc?"
" I've been very busy. So you just decided to stop here?" Tara questions as she crossed her arms over her chest.
" Actually I was looking for you. Hoping I can talk to you." Nero answered as he took his sunglasses off and hook them on to his front shirt.
" You want to talk to me? Why?" Tara asked as she was wondering why Nero wants to talk to her.
" Well, I heard you and Jax are selling Gemma's place. I also heard you guys are still looking for a buyer as well. " Nero has been thinking about moving back to Charming for awhile now. Ever since Gemma had passed away. Living on his uncle's farm hasn't been the same without her.
" Yeah, and we already have a buyer. A family is actually coming out in a couple of weeks to check out the place and putting down the final payment on it. Why?" Tara questions skeptically as she was wondering why Nero is suddenly interested in why Jax and Tara are selling Gemma's place. Then the realization hit her as she raised her brows.
" Oh my God. Your thinking about buying Gemma's house. Aren't you?"
" I know this is like so out of the blue and I know that you guys already have a buyer and everything. But it was Gemma's place Tara and I really don't having anything that was hers. I really feel that if you and Jax could let me buy the house. I can feel closer to Gemma again."
" Jesus Christ. " Tara scoffed as she shook her head." The house already been sold Nero. What am I supposed to tell the family? More importantly what am I supposed to tell Jax? This not what Tara expected at all. She never thought Nero would actually want to move back to Charming or even buy Gemma's place for that matter either.
" Just tell them that there's another buyer who's also interested and don't worry about Jax. I'll talk to him. I'm sure he will be okay with it." Nero said with a grin.
Tara sighs for a moment as she scratched her forehead." I gotta go check on the store and head home to get the boys ready for tonight. Um, why don't you stop by tonight. Bring Luscious too. We are having our first Haunting house here at the club house and I think he would love it."
Nero nods his head. " Thanks Tara and I will talk to Jax more about it." He said as he placed his sunglasses back on and walked back towards his car. Once he got in and started his car, he pulled out of the lot.
" What did the old pimp want?" Unser asked as he stood beside Tara a few seconds later.
Tara just shrugs her shoulders." I got no clue. I gotta go." Tara said with a nod as she walked away from Unser and got into her car. Tara knows what Nero wants. But she wasn't going to tell Wayne. She knows how Unser feels about Nero and if Wayne knew that Nero
Later that night the club house was turned into a haunted house and every kid from the neighborhood was having fun. Tonight was a success and Tara couldn't be more prouder. She then noticed Nero walking through the club house. She got up from the bar as she walked up to him.
" Jax is in the chapel. You guys can talk in there. I'll keep an eye on Luscious." Tara offered as she stood behind Luscious wheelchair and starts to push away towards her boys.
Nero took a deep breath as he walked towards the chapel and opened the door as he walked in.
Jax was sitting in his chair at the head of the table having a smoke as he heard the door of the chapel open. He looked over and noticed Nero walking in and closing the door behind him. When Tara mentioned earlier that Nero wanted to talk to him. Jax kept wondering what was so important that Nero had to come all the way back to Charming to just talk to him. When Jax asked Tara why Nero wanted to talk to him. The only answer Tara gave him was that Nero wanted to talked to him tonight.
" Hey Jax." Nero greeted Jax as he sat on Jax's left." It's been awhile. How have you been?" He asked as he was trying for small talk.
Jax nods his head a little. " Yeah it has been awhile. Almost six months actually. I've been alright. Now Tara told me you wanted to talk." Jax said getting straight to the point as he didn't feel like engaged in small talk with Nero right now.
Nero nods his head as he sat up straight and placed both hands on the table as he looked straight at Jax." I want to buy Gemma's place." Nero took a deep breath as he continues." Look I know that there's a family that's getting ready to move in, in two weeks. But Jax I really want this and I got the money for it."
" Why? Gemma gave me the place in her will, which gives me to sell it or not and since Tara already have a family that's gonna be putting the final payment on the house. Why are you suddenly interested in buying the place now? Considering the fact we've haven't heard from you in six months." Jax questions as he took another drag of his cigeratte.
" Jax I loved your mother more than anything. And when I lost her, I felt like I lost a part of me. I felt like my soul died inside Jackson and I truly hope and pray that you will never lose Tara the way I lost Gemma, or either other way. I want to buy the house because I want to be able to feel closer to her again." Nero explained.
Jax nods his head as he understood what Nero was saying and if Jax was in Nero's position right now. He would do anything to feel closer to Tara again. " What about your uncle's farm though?"
" I'm still planning on keeping the farm. I just thought maybe I can use Gemma's place to come to when I ever I decide to come visit Charming again." Nero answered with a small grin.
Jax chuckled as he shook his head for a moment. " And you think you can get the money in two weeks?"
" I can get it in one week." Nero answered with convenience.
Jax nods his head once more." Let me talk to Tara about it and see what she says. I will give you a call in a few days. "
Nero nods his head as he was good with the answer." Sounds good to me Jax. Now if you excuse me. I'm gonna go check on my boy and make sure, he isn't too scared of the haunted house." Nero said with a chuckle as he got up and walked out of the chapel and closed the door behind him.
Jax blew out some air as he ran both hands down his face. He's not sure how he's going to tell Tara that Nero wants to buy Gemma's place, since there's already a family that's about to move in, in two weeks. Jax feels for Nero and he knows how much he loved Gemma. Basically since Nero was all Gemma had left before she passed away. But Jax just isn't too sure if selling his family home to Nero is a good idea or not.
