Far past the entrance to the mystic lands
A small form wanders throught the mist
Lost and stumbling through tree roots and leaves
The hobbit doesn't see far beyond the next tree root
The mountains rise in the distance
A roadblock ever present
Soon he will cross these mountains
And travel ever further
On and on he trudges
He trembles in the frozen wind
Like a leaf on a tree
He shakes
From cold
From fear
From the iced over tears falling from his face
From the sorrow he feels deep in his heart
For his beloved
Left in the Middle Lands
He has lost her
At least for now
For he soon will return to her
Once his travels end and his errand is run
He will return to her
Be it in a cedar box
Or be it in one piece
He will return
Someday
Some way
Somehow
A small form wanders throught the mist
Lost and stumbling through tree roots and leaves
The hobbit doesn't see far beyond the next tree root
The mountains rise in the distance
A roadblock ever present
Soon he will cross these mountains
And travel ever further
On and on he trudges
He trembles in the frozen wind
Like a leaf on a tree
He shakes
From cold
From fear
From the iced over tears falling from his face
From the sorrow he feels deep in his heart
For his beloved
Left in the Middle Lands
He has lost her
At least for now
For he soon will return to her
Once his travels end and his errand is run
He will return to her
