Continuation story to Disconnected and Twilight Murders of the void with it being Halloween and several murders at the Westchester Assisted Living Faculty. A new resident at the faculty takes it upon himself to begin killing women on Halloween during a celebration.

4. Chapter 4

Devil's Advocate

Chapter Four

Captain William Morrison of the local crime scene unit walked inside the lobby of the faculty with the residents walking around having to be thinking about what was happening and the rumors.

He had walked over to the main lobby desk with Jordan taking over for Al now on break. Showing his badge to the young woman in her early thirties taking a look at his name on the badge and his partner.

"What can I do for you, captain?" Jordan needed to have said to the older captain of the team.

Turning slightly. "We are here to investigate the two bodies found. Others will be arriving including the local coroner," he noted with the coroner's van to be arriving with Doctor Kim Young Yoo and his assistant to bring out the two stretchers to have both Joanne and Melody to be taken back to the autopsy bay. Even though the doctor will need permission on whether autopsies need to be done.

"Okay, I will have the supervisor come up to take you to the two sites," Jordan says with two residents coming up to be nosey for the moment even though they will move away.

As for Richard Newman, he had gone for a walk when he had noticed a new resident sitting down at his favorite bench at the south entrance and moving towards the back. Richard didn't bother to sit down to pass him sitting as if he was nervous or something.

But he noticed the dark black hair of the resident and that was it for now. However when he walked towards the back and the smoking area before moving inside to his quarters and hopefully meeting up with his wife Theresa.

It was Eddie and another resident telling him the bad news. He partially collapsed on the bench in regard to his two friends Joanne and Melody. "How in the world does this happen with a place like this guys?" he cried out.

"Don't know Richard. But the police are here now to investigate the two murders. I for one have better be careful when it comes to my girlfriend Monica." he alluded to say with his own emotions running high.

"I need to speak with my wife Theresa to make sure she is able to be careful with all of her movements and activities that she is currently involved with." he motions slowly getting up from the cold bench.
