Thanksgiving Surprise-Ch 2

Penelope moaned against his lips as he deepened the kiss by slipping his tongue inside her mouth, he closed his eyes and enjoyed the sensation of finally kissing his baby girl like he had always wanted to do but was to afraid. When they pulled apart he rested his forehead against hers and said, "sooooo, will you go away with me tomorrow and spend the holiday with me at the cabin?", she slowly opened her eyes and looked at him, how could she say no to the sexiest man she'd ever laid her eyes on, say no to the love of her life, how could she possibly do that.

Derek caressed her cheek and she said, "Derek I'm not your type at all, I mean look at me, I'm" and he covered her lips with his finger and said, "you're sexy, you're beautiful, you're smart and you have one of the biggest, kindest hearts of anybody I've ever met in my entire life so how are you not my type baby girl?", with tears streaming down her cheek he said, "I love you, please believe me, please believe that I love you".

As he wiped away the tears she said, "I love you to Derek, I always have", he smiled and said, "soooo does that mean that you're going to go away with me to the cabin?", she said, "are you sure that you don't want to spend Thanksgiving with your mom and sisters?", he pulled her into his arms and said, "I'm positive goddess, I'm 100% positive that I want to spend Thanksgiving with the all seeing all knowing oracle".

Penelope said, "I don't want your mom to be hurt", Derek said, "baby, I've already talked to momma and told her that I wanted to spend Thanksgiving alone with you at the cabin", she looked up at him and said, "and what did she say?". Derek sighed and said, "she said that it was about time that I pulled my head out of my butt and decided to tell you how I truly feel about you" and Penelope smiled and said, "really?", he said, "really, but if you don't believe me you can call her" as he held out his cell phone to her.

She shook her head and said, "no, no I believe you, I believe you", he then took her hands in his and said, "sooooooo what's it gonna be, are you gonna spend Thanksgiving with me?", she felt her heart racing and after a few seconds of looking into his dark, sexy eyes she nodded her head and said, "yes, yes I'll spend Thanksgiving with you at the cabin", Derek then leaned in and brushed his lips against hers in a passionate kiss.

When they pulled apart he stood up and said, "I'll be here in the morning about 10:00 to pick you up, do you think that you can be ready to go by then?", she said, "wait, you're leaving now?", he pulled her into his arms and said, "if I don't leave now I won't be able to and I don't think that you're ready to do more, at least not tonight", she blushed and said, "okay, okay I see your point" and then she leaned in and gently kissed his lips.

As she pulled away she said, "good night hotstuff, I love you", he sighed happily and said, "good night baby girl, I love you too, sweet dreams", she said, "no problems there because I'll be dreaming of you tonight". He laughed and said, "and I'll be dreaming of you but then again that's nothing new because I always dream about you", she said, "huh, what?", he said, "don't try to tell me that you don't dream about me too", she said, "welll I", Derek laughed and said, "see I told you".

Penelope said, "well I guess I better pack then", Derek said, "pack enough stuff to last for at least a week, maybe more", she said, "a week?", he said, "yep, I'm going to get all of the quality time I can with you and since we're off for two weeks this time I'm going to enjoy every second that we get to spend together", she winked at him and said, "alright I'll pack plenty of stuff then", he leaned in and said, "one more kiss before I go?", she leaned in a little further and sighed happily as her lips found his.

Derek reluctantly pulled away and said, "good night, see ya in the morning", she nodded her head and said, "see ya in the morning handsome", Penelope then followed him to the door and watched as he disappeared out of sight. She then walked over to the window and watched as his truck pulled out of the parking lot a few minutes later, he stopped in front and looked up at her and waved before continuing on his way up the street and turning left so that he could hit the main road.

After pinching herself to make sure that she wasn't dreaming she went to her bedroom and started packing, she wanted to make sure that she packed enough stuff and since it was November it was getting cooler so she packed a few extra sweaters just in case they went for a walk down by the lake, she had to admit that she could't wait to spend Thanksgiving alone with her Derek, Penelope laughed as she said that again, "my Derek, he's finally mine".

It took her a little while to pack and then forgoing her bath until the morning she climbed into bed and whispered, "good night hotstuff, sleep tight, I love you", she then closed her eyes and soon fell into a peaceful, wonderful sleep where she dreamed of the love of her life, her hotstuff, her Derek.
