Directly after the assault on the Russian oil rig, Captain MacTavish and his team were getting ready to assault the gulag that Prisoner 627 was being held in. Naruto had just contacted his wife moments before, and she said she was doing okay, and told him not to worry too much. After Naruto hung up the phone, he was questioned by MacTavish.
"What's the hold up?" he asked.
"Just calling my wife, sir, to make sure she's AOK."
"Alright. I understand your concern but you can't do that in the middle of an op. Get aboard the chopper, we have a war to fight."
"Yes, sir."
He boarded a Little Bird helicopter and grabbed a M14 EBR sniper rifle. As F-22 fighters assaulted the gulag's outer defenses, the team readied their sniper rifles to take out any opposition on the towers.
"Snipers, ready your M14s!" MacTavish said through comms. "Take out the enemy troops activating those SAM sites!"
Roach and Naruto both displayed pinpoint accuracy with their shots. Naruto even shot a Russian soldier between the eyes.
"Move to the next tower!" MacTavish ordered. Just as their Little Bird was shifting, an F-22 fighter blew up the tower in front of them.
"SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK!?" Naruto shouted.
"Shepherd, what the hell was that? Get those fighters to back off." Said MacTavish.
"I'll try to buy you some time. One man in a gulag doesn't mean much to the Navy at this point." Shepherd said over comms.
"Bloody yanks! I thought they were the good guys!" Shouted Ghost.
Yeah, you and me both. Naruto thought.
"Ghost, cut the chatter and stay frosty!" Said MacTavish.
The Task Force's Little Birds landed on the helipads, and fought through the main courtyard of the gulag. The Russians used their usual tools of the trade: those being AKs and RPGs. Blood was spilt on both sides, but 141 was successful in that skirmish.
After the gunfight, Naruto had noticed that he'd been grazed, somewhat deeply. Jesus, knowing how Hinata is, she's definitely gonna be pissed at me after this op. Naruto thought as he made his way down the stairs into the cell blocks.
Naruto had been in some life threatening situations before, and he, along with many others on his team, wanted Makarov dead. But by this point, he was having secong thoughts about joining the 141. But all that mattered now was searching for Prisoner 627.
