"Welcome to Sea Pines," a young woman, about 24 with short blond hair wear
blue jeans and a t-shirt was talking to Michelle, but she wasn't listening.
Michelle was looking around at the different people. 3 girls were sitting
outside smoking, what looked like hand rolled cigarettes. 2 other girls
were sitting on a brown couch and watching an old television set and there
was one girl who was sitting in some sort of games room, playing connect
four, by her.
"Everyone this is Michelle she is going to be joining our group." The same young woman, whose name is Claire , was talking to the group of young girls that Michelle saw earlier. They were in their group session where they would talk about each others feelings on things that had happened or why they are here and so on and so forth.
"Michelle, please go sit beside Callie, the girl in the blue sweatshirt." Michelle walked over silently while they other girls started watchfully. The question in everyone's mind was "Why is she here?" but only one person could answer that and she was not going to tell.
Now sitting down Michelle was asked to share her feelings about Sea Pines. Her answer was short and simple, "I don't belong here."
