"Fawlkes… What is it?" Asked a tired and surprised Minerva.
Fawlkes simply turned his back to her and invited her to hold on to his tail feathers. She accepted this request and immediately after found herself zooming through more of Hogwarts corridors. They stopped once again, this time at the door of Professor Snape's Door. McGonagall realising what the Phoenix wanted her to do, rushed into his sleeping chambers and shook him violently.
"Wha…WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING IN HERE WOMAN? LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!" Requested Snape pulling up his blankets to his neck.
"SEVERUS COME ON…" Pleaded McGonagall
"Go?? Go where?" He questioned "IT'S THE MIDDLE IF THE NIGHT! HAVE YOU GONE COMPLETELY MAD??" He barked.
Sensing resistance Minerva grabbed Snape by the arm and pulled him out of his bed. "Something's wrong. Fawlkes knows it. Come on." McGonagall took a firm grip on the Phoenix's tail feathers as Snape reluctantly held her round the waist.
"I hope this isn't one of your silly ideas Minerva!" Grunted Snape.
Next stop was Professor Lupin. He surrendered without a fight as McGonagall explained what had happened. "Yes Minerva…But what is the problem?" He questioned.
"I… I don't actually know! Fawlkes seems to though… He seemed to be in a hurry. Maybe someone's in trouble. Quick we must go!" Replies McGonagall.
After a few more pit stops they were on their way to the chamber. Mc Gonagall's hand clasped tightly to the Phoenix, Snape clinging helplessly to Minerva's waist and Lupin with Snape's nightgown flapping dangerously close to his face in the wind (Lupin daring not to look up!!)
