A mysterious white-haired figure sits on the edge of a cliff, staring into forgotten space. His ears, (which are not so normal) twitch as a soft breeze ruffles them. He closes his eyes and begins to mutter under his breath.

Emotion- it can either make you
Succeed or crush you,
If you let it.
It controls your mind, your heart, your soul...
So close,
Yet so far.
Pain and angst make you want to scream!
Yet, with out it you're no more than an empty shell.
Why?
Crushes, romance, and puppy love...
Feh!
All leads to hurt,
All leads to pain.
Yet, if you stick with it,
There is always sun after rain,
A silver lining around every cloud,
A plot behind the title.

A hand lovingly lies on his shoulder. He snaps around to look at the pale young girl smiling shyly at him. A brief pause before she sits down beside him. Rapping her arms around him, she snuggles into his red coat. "Inu. Yasha. I love you." She falls asleep, her small hand lightly grasping his. "Kagome. If only you knew. how much I love you too." His lips curl into a smile as he returns the hug.
