Once upon a time, there was a young jolly boy named Owen.
Owen was training to become a knight.
He knew the beauty behind the jolliness of the battle.
I guess that's Owen for you.
Along the way,
Owen made some friends.
They're all really jolly.
Unfortunately,
They don't like the word "jolly" that much.
Still,
Because Owen is their extremely jolly friend, they have learned how to tolerate that extremely jolly word.
Well, one day,
Kel, one of Owen's jolly friends,
Saw a not-so-jolly Owen…
And that's not jolly.
Oh, no.
That's not jolly at all.
Being the compassionate and jolly person she was,
She asked him what was wrong.
"Well, Kel. I've been having some not so jolly thoughts about the word 'Jolly'. I need to know the meaning of jolly, or I may never be jolly again."
Now,
Let me tell you.
Kel hates this word "jolly" and will be extremely glad when he outgrows this "phase", but the thought of seeing him sad and not jolly was too much for her to handle.
"Okay, Owen.
I will help you find the meaning of Jolly if you vow to use it only once a day."
Owen, being extremely desperate, gave in.
"Great!
I'll go get the others and we'll go on a 'jolly' journey!"
"So, how are we going to go about this?"
This left them all to wonder.
" Why not grab a dictionary?" suggested Neal.
"That's great and all, Neal," said Kel," but Webster isn't born for about another thousand years."
"Then, it looks like we'll be the first ones to find the meaning of Jolly," said Owen with a look of determination (which is odd, because he usually looks jolly).
"Now we need a name for our mission, because everything of any meaning in this world has a title or name," reasoned Merric.
Seeing the logic behind this, they all quietly tried to think of names…
But we know that doesn't last to long.
"The Jolly Quest!"
"Lame. The Year of the 'Jolly'"
"That's just wrong. Owen's Jolly Adventure?"
"How about Neal's Jolly Adventure? I like it."
"
Well, we don't."
"The Meaning of Jolly"
Suddenly, the whole room grew quiet as they stared at Seaver.
"What did you say?"
"The Meaning of Jolly."
"… Seaver, you're a genius!"
With that, Kel kissed Seaver and they all went their separate ways to pack,
Seaver leaving with a slightly brighter tint in his cheeks and eyes.
