~Emotions~
Emotions are what make the Youkai who feel them, weak. The pathetic humans more often then most, die because of them. There are many emotions. Kindness, Sadness, Happiness, Love. . .
Love. . .
The worst emotion yet. It makes your mind fall prey to many tortures. And yet, it makes one stronger at the same time. Love is an emotion that I, Sesshoumaru, do not understand.
That half-breed brother of mine knows of this emotion. He uses it when he defeats all of his enemies. He uses it for both of his wenches.
The undead miko, Kikyo, knows nothing of love. Only hatred and Anger toward the half-ling. The other miko, Kagome, grows stronger everyday in her miko abilities.
It must be because of her love for the Hanyou. I, Sesshoumaru still do not understand this. How can an emotion make someone's strength multiply? Is it the same as fear?
The adrenaline pumps through your body when your afraid, thus enhancing your abilities. Is that the same as love?
Both Youkai and Humans believe that I do not experience emotions, which is necessary to survive. However, I keep my emotions in balance, nothing will overcome me such as a petty emotion.
But I do feel emotions. I felt fear when Inuyasha first underwent his transformation into his demonic form. I haven't felt the emotion called Love.
Nor do I wish too. At least, not until I understand it. I must find someone to gain advice on the subject. Perhaps when I understand more about this emotion, I will feel it. It is time that I, Sesshoumaru, moved on. For now.
