Author's Note: I do not own Peach Girl, nor do I own Pink Floyd. Some one
else owns the rights to Peach Girl and Pink Floyd. This is my first Peach
Girl fic, and my first song fic. But I've got to say, what can be better
than Pink Floyd and Peach Girl? Major spoilers for book four of the Change
of Heart series.
And on to the story...
Wish You Were Here
Momo stared out the window as she tapped the pencil on her desk, she was pondering about how to make Kiley love her more than he did Misao. She sighed she knew it was some what wrong to try and make him fall in love with her, but she wanted it. If there was one thing on earth that she could have, that would be it.
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell
Blue skies from pain
Momo turned her attention back to the teacher's lecture and then down to her paper. She had started writing notes on it, but some how it ended up with I love Kiley scribbled all over it instead. She wished she could go and change into her swim suit and swim out her frustrations and think about nothing but the coolness of the water around her. Her thoughts shifted to Kiley's touch, his warm embraces, soft kisses...
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail
A smile from a veil
Do you think you can tell
She glanced at Kiley from across the room, he was slumped down in his chair with his paper sitting in front of him.
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts
Hot ashes for trees
Hot air for a cool breeze
Cold comfort for change
And did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage
Momo knew what was on Kiley's mind, Misao and herself. She had promised to hang out with Kiley after swim practice this afternoon. Momo felt a shiver of excitement down her spine as she thought about being with Kiley. She looked down at her paper again and jotted down an important quote that would most likely be on a test.
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year
Momo knew the fact that he loved her the littlest bit was enough to give him everything, or almost everything. She wished it could have been him to take her virginity.
Running over the same old ground
What have we found
He was always the one to believe her when Sae spread all the lies, he was the one behind her after Toji broke up with her, the one there for her no matter what obstacles a waited him. At first she hadn't believed that his brother had stolen every girl friend of his, and when she played right into his trap, Kiley was there to save her, he waited for her and tried not to pressure her into making love. All she wanted was to be with him, and hoped he wanted the same.
The same old fears
Wish you were here
Momo could feel the back of her eyes burning and she felt ready to burst into hysterics, but pushed back those feelings. In the end, Kiley would be hers, and she'd make sure of it.
