He woke at the feeling of warmth and closeness. For a moment he thought he had fallen into the fire because of the sudden heat change. As he struggled a soft voice hushed him. Upon opening his eyes he saw all of his scrolls and books spread before him. He had tried do hard, Remus would have been proud of him. He had set out with the goal to learn, study, do well in class because of his effort not just his luck. Needless to say he had fallen asleep with in five minutes. His mind came back to him as he felt a hand brush hair out of his face.
"James?" he asked softly.
"Yeah, love?"
"How long was I asleep?"
"Couple of hours."
"Oh Gods, and we have final exams tomorrow."
"You'll do fine, Sigh."
"What if I don't?" he asked and burst into tears.
James smiled at the boy feeling protective of his lover, "You've been studying with Remus everyday and you went for extra charms help. You're just really tired."
"No I'm not!" He sobbed exhaustedly.
"Shh sh sh," hushed James, "it's written across your face in letters only a boyfriend can see." He traced the word out over Sirius' forehead, "T. I. R. E. D. Let's go to bed, sleep is all you need now." Sirius nodded and stood with James assistance.
James smirked as he saw Sirius' face now it wasn't laying on the table. "What?" asked Sirius.
"Nothing," replied James making a mental note to wash the ink off Sirius' face in the morning before he looked in a mirror. He had been sleeping on a scroll with damp ink and there across his face was the word "tired" written backwards but very legibly.
