More Info: Ever since she was six months old she has been raised by Eiri and Shuichi as their daughter. She loves them greatly, and only knows her birth parents from videos, pictures and their work. Ryuko attends a public high school, as private schools wouldn't accept her based on her parents' sexualality. She excels in Japanese, being tutored by Eiri, but is bad in most other subjects. Doesn't know what she wants out of life, but knows she doesn't want to be remembered as "Ryuichi Sakuma's daughter".

She was very sweet, naive, hated being told what to do, went out of her way for her fans (replied to every single fan letter and even gave panties to horny males fans that asked!), believed she could talk to animals (included penguins!), enjoyed fun parks and karaoke.

SHOUKA

More Info: Had been taking care of her baby sister since she was a child herself. She made Hanako her life and was shrewd in her upbringing. She became her manager when a casting agency asked if Hanako would like to try out for voice acting. Is homophobic and was enraged by her only niece being adopted to "perverts". She likes to probe Ryuko for information to use against them, but is yet to be successful.

More Info: Was orphaned at age 10 and never adopted. Had a tough time trusting people for a very long time and worked odd jobs her entire teen life to go to university to be a lawyer. She met Suguru when she was 19 and married and their child when she was 20. Is currently a successful lawyer and adamant her daughter not suffers any trauma like she did.
