CHAPTER1 : Dreams and Hope

Kagome was sound asleep...until Shippo came. (Its true Shippo is not too good with his timing)
"KAGOME!" screamed Shippo. "Yes Shippo." She said as nicely as she could considering that the small kitsune woke her. She was having the best dream ever when Shippo came. 'GRR...Shippo!' she thought. Kagome was playing her dream over and over in her mind.
*HER DREAM*
Kagome was in a hut so beautiful that it looked as though she had decorated it herself. She was standing by a pot...cooking. It was ramen. Inuyasha ran through the door.
"Ramen...oh you know it's my favorite love!" Said Inuyasha.
Love...Kagome still couldn't decide if they were married or just boyfriend and girlfriend. Kagome and Inuyasha were soon eating ramen and talking. Every time Inuyasha spoke his sentence ended with love. How Kagome enjoyed being talked to like that. They finished their ramen and they were getting ready to go to bed. Inuyasha was just about to say something when Shippo woke her.
'If only Inuyasha were truly like that' thought Kagome.
Kagome truly loved Inuyasha, but she wasn't too sure that Inuyasha felt that same way. She had kept her true feelings and emotions to herself for a very long time. She wished so much for Inuyasha to feel the same way as her.
"KAGOME...are you even paying attention to me?!" Screamed Shippo.
She had forgotten all about Shippo.
"Yes Shippo...I am." Kagome stated.
"Can I have some chocolate?" Asked Shippo eagerly.
"Sorry Shippo, but you can't have chocolate for breakfast...go and eat some normal breakfast food." She said.
With that Shippo ran off. Kagome wanted to go back to sleep and finish her favorite dream, but she couldn't...it was way too late for that. She decided to keep playing it over in her to keep playing it over in her mind. Soon she stopped playing it over and she sighed. Kagome got up, got dressed, and went outside. Everyone was outside and everyone was staring at her. She looked down and immediately saw that her shirt was on backwards.
'How humiliating!' she thought. Kagome ran inside the hut she was in and got her shirt on the right way. Kagome was blushing in a very deep shade of pink. Inuyasha and the rest were still staring at her. "Kagome, what the hell were you thinking when you got dressed today?" Asked Inuyasha. Kagome's pinkish color suddenly got deeper. What she was thinking about when she got dressed was Inuyasha. This thought made her get a little bit sad and kind of depressed. Inuyasha noticed the change in her mood. "K-Kagome, is something wrong?" Inuyasha asked sounding rather concerned. 'Great...now I sound concerned' thought Inuyasha, 'She's going to figure out that I like her...then it's expected that she'll want to leave and I can't just betray Kikyo. "No" said Kagome, "Why do you ask Inuyasha? I'm sure there is a reason you asked. You can tell me Inuyasha..." Kagome said sounding quite hopeful. Inuyasha just stared at her blankly...what was he to say?
