"Go! GO! GOOOOO! YESSSS!" Yuffie screamed as the first of the Chocobos came in at the finish line." Cloud won, he won!!!" she yelled. The whole party was at the Gold Saucer, a casino/theme park near the center of Planet. Cloud was racing his Gold Chocobo, Karat. "NNNNOOOOO!!!" Barret yelled, his gruff voice startling everyone in the room. "Whitey lost...." he complained." But Cloud won!!!!" Yuffie yelled. "Well the odds of him winning were 1 to 1,000,000", Red XIII said calmly "I have no clue why you betted for Whitey..." "GRRR! I thought you said the odds were 1,000,000 to 1." Barret yelled, further startling everyone in the room. At that point Cloud walked into the room with a big smile on his face." I won!" he exclaimed.
As they all went to get their prizes all of the guests looked a little flustered at the sight of Barret's
machine-gun-arm. "Lookie what I got!" Yuffie said as she accepted the Hi-Potion and 1000 Gil. "Cool", said cloud as he got his prize (a new White Cape). "Let me go get my sword", He said as he walked over to the reception desk. "Locker number 1324354. I need my Ultima Wpn.", Cloud said as the reception employee walked down the aisle trying to find his locker with his sword in it. The poor employee almost lost a finger as he tried to pick it up. "It's sharp", Cloud said as the employee looked for a big Band-Aid. After the sword incident the whole party headed to the slide that would take them to Haunted Square. They got there paid the Gil to get in, said hi to Mr. Hangman, and headed to their rooms.
During the night a silent figure creeped into the Gold Saucer...
The party woke up to complete mayhem. The monsters from Battle Square had broken out of their cages and were stalking and killing the guests." GET YOUR WEAPONS!!!!!" Cloud screamed.
