The man stalked toward the billowing entrance of the tent. His walk betrayed his angry feeling. Stiffly, with short strides. As he approached, he lifted his hands and made symbols in an intricate design. The space in the tent flapped shimmered, revealing that a barrier was in place for security upon the flaps. Once again, he drew symbols in the air. The air in front of the flaps shimmered once more and disappeared. He stalked in. The air smelled of incense but besides the lighted incense, he could see nothing. "Thank you for coming Baroyu-san." said a deep voice hidden in the dark. "Hokage." the man said respectfully, and bowed deeply. He knew the consequences for being disrespectful to the Hokage of the Mist clan. "I have summoned you here for one reason, and you must know by now what it is Baroyu-san." said the Hokage in his deep resonant voice. "War." whispered Baroyu. "Yes, and we shall expand the territory of our clan. We have stayed hidden too long." replied the Hokage. "Organize your armies and prepare to send them toward Konoha No Kuni, the land of the tree and leaf, first. That will give us a good advantage against the other clans." The Hokage steepled his fingers and smiled. "Now go." Baroyu strode out. "Crazy bastard, he's going to get us all killed!" muttered Baroyu. "But I have no choice. I will do what I must."

Naruto sat at his table dining on ramen. It was his day off from Master Kakashi's regimen of training, but even so, he was planning how much better he would be than Sasuke tomorrow after his training today. "I will be so much better!" boasted Naruto, smiling at his daydream of Sasuke failing while he passed with Sakura at his side. "Ha ha ha! That fool!" There was a knock on the door of his tree shack. He opened the door and saw Master Kakashi standing there reading Make-out Paradise. "Come Naruto, we need to go to the Hokage." Naruto hurried to get his gear on. "Why do we have to go anyway?" whined Naruto. Kakashi looked down at Naruto with his lazy, hooded eyes and replied, "We're under attack by an unknown clan, and it's going to be a bloodbath unless we get ready. "
