"Harry! I do not know why you keep on insisting that Ron is always wrong
and you are always right!" Hermione was saying to Harry as she followed him
through the hall to class.
Harry stopped and glared at her. How and why is she saying that, he had never said that Ron was always wrong and he was always right! He and Ron had a huge fight, over something totally stupid, and he knew that. But he wasn't about to go to Ron and say sorry. Harry just isn't like that. He glared at Hermione then said "Hermione, which side are you on!?"
"I'm on no ones side. Cause I think all of this is stupid! Ron and you are terribly missing each other! Say something Harry don't be stupid," she answered in a no nonsense tone.
Harry sighed, it was true, and he did miss having Ron around. Hermione was good to have, but it just wasn't right without Ron. Then he realized that he shouldn't say anything to Ron, Ron was the one who started all of this. "Ron has to come to me. Not I to him." And with that he stalked into Potions class.
~~~~~
Hermione stared after him, sighed, and then whirled around. She went to look for Ron, who also had a free period with her. She walked to the library and called Ron, then was scolded for shouting.
"Sorry, Madame Pince, I was excited," she left without saying another word.
She then went to the common room and saw Ron sitting by the fire, thinking out loud. "Harry.he's so stupid.I can't believe I befriended him." he was saying outlaid to himself, "It's all his fault.oh why am I even thinking of it!?"
"Maybe because you miss him?" Hermione said, startling him. He jumped out of his seat, then lowered himself back into it when he realized it was Hermione. Hermione smiled. She moved to him and said, "You should talk to him."
"No!" Ron shouted without meaning to, "This is his fault!"
Hermione sighed and then said, "But you miss him."
Ron didn't say anything; Hermione knew he wouldn't lie to her.
~~~~~
Ron sat quiet. He did miss Harry. But he isn't going to admit it, even though Hermione already pretty much knew. He sighed, no use lying to Hermione.
"Yeah, I do."
"Talk to him, say you're sorry."
"But I can't it'll make me a sissy."
Hermione sighed and Ron frowned. "But I talked to him and he said that he isn't going to say anything to you either. He misses you, I can see it."
Ron looked at her. He sighed again and nodded, "Okay, I will."
He saw Hermione smile at him as she stomped up the stair triumphily.
~~~~~
Ron spotted Harry walking to Quidditch practice. He took one deep breath and said to himself, "here goes."
He walked to Harry and stood in front of him. Harry, taken aback, took one step back and looked at him strangely.
"Listen, Harry, I'm really sorry." Ron started but Harry laughed.
"No need, Ron. I know. Don't worry. I have already forgotten about it." Harry smiled at Ron.
Ron smiled back and said, "Thanks Harry."
"Your welcome."
