Matt: Mom, could you please drive me to school? I have to get there early!

Jo: Why honey? Are you planning on decorating your friend's locker?

Matt: Uh, no. Picture Day's today and I really want to look nice.

Jo: [eyes wide] I have the cutest shirt your Aunt Elsa gave you!

Lizzie: Isn't that the one she gave Matt five years ago? The shirt with Bonkie the talking donkey? [Makes an 'L' sign in her forehead] Loser!

Jo: Lizzie! Be nicer to your brother. Just so you know, that's not the one-

Matt: [kicks Lizzie from under the table]

Jo: It's actually a white shirt with a crocodile in it; I just got the package in the mail last week.

Animated Lizzie: [wearing a shirt with a crocodile in the center] Bonkie the talking donkey, crocodile, doesn't make any difference.

Lizzie: That's a great shirt, you're wearing it for Picture Day, aren't you Matt?

Matt: Well, look who's talking- Unicorn girl!

Lizzie: You runt! Have you been reading my diary again?

Matt: [snickers]

Jo: Okay, that's it! Matt, stop reading your sister's diary, and Lizzie, be nice to Matt.

Matt: Can't I just wear a normal shirt to school?

Jo: Okay, honey

Lizzie: Mom! You didn't tell me that three years ago when I wanted to dress tomorrow!

Jo: That's enough bickering for one day! Come on, you two- off to school. Your father's sick so we need peace and quiet.

Matt and Lizzie: [quietly] Okay.
