You may see the connection of this to my beginning chapter of Umbridge's Returns and that is because I written this before I decided to write a story based on the poem!!! Clever ehh??? Any way I like it cos it's one of my poems that actually does make sense!!!!

Down in the Chamber,

Candles alight.

Two silent figures,

Ready to fight.

With Dumbledore's eyes,

Locked on his foe,

Both of them there,

Nowhere to go.

He raises his wand,

In a shower of light,

An explosion of stars,

The Chamber now bright.

Standing beside him,

Yet to be found.

A colourful bird,

Not making a sound.

Voldemort advances,

Raises his wand,

Choosing a curse,

Of which he is fond.

He releases its power,

Hoping to kill.

Pushing it forward,

With all his will.

Narrowly missing,

The spell hits the wall,

From which huge boulders,

Begin to fall.

Dumbledore's turn,

He sends out a spell.

The aim true,

The enemy hit well.

Voldemort disarmed,

With ropes inter-twined.

Round a great column,

They begin to bind.

The struggle now over,

But the battle not won.

Voldemort breaks free,

But does not run.

Instead his wand high,

He wants to prevail,

Dumbledore is hit,

He lets out a wail.

"You may have beaten me,

The only one you feared.

But Harry will defeat you!"

Dumbledore jeered.

He took his last breath,

He let out a sigh,

Then Voldemort left him…

Left him to die.
