The Void That brought Me here
This is a songfic/poem this might not make to much sense it's kinda
personal .
I don't own Underworld
Selene stood in the rain ignoring the blood that dripped down her body somewhere deep inside she thought the rain could wash away her sins and her emotions
'i look out i didn't know there were so many shades of grey i guess the colours just don't mean so much when you don't have time to study the sky'
her beliefs were fading faster then Selene thought possible being in this world left her feeling like a killer she was in fact a death dealer the thought of quiting scared her only because she had no place to go.
'i am waiting for a victory but it's always a hollow one and before we say goodbye just before we say goodbye we don't'
Selene had fucked up and she knew it more then anyone finding her way out was harder then staying in the place she was used too she could never make sense of all the chaos that she had lived through and seen.
'one day when it's raining just like this... will you be happy where you are ?'
Standing on the top of the building she noticed that the city was wearing a mask made of fog Water dripped off her leather coat and cat suit but she was soaked anyway and she felt cold and empty inside.
'just before i walk away i tell you remember to breath because i know you haven't all day and now it makes sense the thoery that was to morbid to come from your mouth i understand why you said it i know you'll deny it only because it's true'
She felt deceived by vampyres and lycans she couldn't describe it what she felt wasn't really a revelation maybe just a new way of thinking did it really matter though? Truth was this she had no place to go no family to welcome her back she just had this dark wreckage but did she even belong there?
'and because i never thought this way before does not make it false because maybe we are the same and that is what you saw but do you have to look away?'
diving gracefully down from the high building she walked forward the rain splashing around Selene didn't even bother to try and avoid the puddles she had too many thoughts cluttering her head.
'i leave bloody handprints on the window but you didn't notice for a reason why why? i don't know'
Selene decided to head back to the mansion she didn't want to be around those people but it was the only place she knew as home how could everyone betray her like this? She felt lost and because she was immortal maybe she'd be lost forever. as she approached the gates she saw a dripping wet shadowy figure standing there moving closer she knew it was Micheal.
'and just before we say goodbye and just before we say goodbye we don't'
++++++++
a kinda bitter sweet ending depending on how you look at it it wasn't to great I kno I have a problem w/ writing depressin shit lol flames are accepted but I know a pyromaniac so use caution.
peace
